Clenching my teeth, I run through the night sky lit only by the hazy moon.
A film of air permeates my entire body.
The propulsion created by the cloak of my treasure trove makes me fly through the air like an arrow from a crossbow.
Once released, there is no return, just like an arrow.
I proceed through the darkness, controlling only my direction.
The walls surrounding the imperial city and the huge gates were passed in a flash, and all that lay below were endless plains and unlighted roads.
It was a beautiful sight, but I felt like I was going to vomit when I saw it.
The Dark Wings of the Night Sky is a cloak-type treasure.
It is made of a beautiful dark blue cloth that looks like the shape of night itself, with a white jewel attached to its collar. It gives the user the ability to fly, an extremely powerful power.
Jewelry that gives the ability to fly is rare, highly sought after, and therefore expensive. The only one I have in my collection is the Dark Wings of the Night Sky, but this treasure has a number of serious flaws.
The "Human Missile Incident" caused by the previous owner of this treasure was a truly sad incident that made everyone aware of the usefulness and danger of treasure tools.
The hunter who plunged head-first into the ceiling with tremendous thrust was summoned directly to heaven, and the Dark Wings of the Night Sky was taken over by me on the verge of being discarded as a treasure tool that had killed a good hunter. It's a genuine defect.
But it can fly, that's for sure.
There are many problems with it, such as the lack of fine control, the overemphasis on propulsion rather than gravity control, the impossibility of 'levitation' that most flying treasures have, and the lack of brakes in the first place, but there is no doubt that it can fly.
And it's very fast. The speed is completely unsafe.
Since it appears as a treasure trove, there must have been an item that was the basis of this in the past. I feel like lecturing the person who first thought of this for an hour.
In the blink of an eye, we ran through a distance that would have taken even the most maniacal hunter over an hour to cover, and went straight into the forest.
If I had walked on the ground, my vision would have been blocked by the dense trees, and I would have exhausted my strength just by walking on the ground with its poor footholds of stones and branches.
As I flew at high speed far above the ground, the birds and beasts that inhabited the forest murmured and screamed. I'm the one who wants to scream.
Then, in a very blurry vision, I managed to find my target, the treasure house.
An open land without trees. A big hole in the earth. There are no other cavernous treasure halls around here, so I'm sure of it.
You're fast. I'm impressed with my speed. I'm sure Tino is still alive.
The only problem is that there are no brakes.
I clenched my teeth, turned the direction of travel diagonally downward, and jumped into the hole with the same momentum.
