5 # 4 Weapon shop and essential skills.txt

Along the way, I was taught the basics of the game.

It seems that the game is basically about registering with a guild, such as the Adventurer's Guild, and completing quests to accumulate money, just as we saw in the tutorial.

The monsters don't drop money like in the old RPGs, but they can get items by using their demolition skills. It seems that the flow of this game is to capture the field while earning money or making good weapons, which you can sell the items.

The people who buy items and make weapons for you are called production workers. Their basic function is to earn money by buying and selling items, and of course they can also fight, but they are not very good at it.

The items traded are various items such as recovery items, weapons, and oddly enough, the tutorial explained that they use their hunger level to sell food.

According to Ruin, it is directly linked to life, so it is possible to earn a stable income. I've cooked at various part-time jobs, so if you can cook in this game too, you might want to give it a try. I was also told that there are many other ways to earn money, such as accepting requests from players to be their escort.

However, the game's beta test was only for one week, and since it is prohibited by law to play all week like in the old days, the game's strategy didn't go very far, apparently. Therefore, I hear it's fair to say that there is very little detailed information available. Still, I was able to hear information that wasn't in the tutorial, which was very helpful.

The first thing I heard is that I need to get weapons and armor, find an inn, and register an adventurer's guild. I was curious about the importance of getting an inn, so I asked him.

It's an obvious question. The concept of this game, Elysian Online, is that we, the players, have been transported to another world. Didn't you say something similar in the tutorial? To put it bluntly, it's unnecessarily realistic. For example, the inn is flooded with players and the rooms are full.

Oh, so you're the guy who takes you around.

'That's what I'm talking about. I don't have any information yet, but I've had some hit and miss innkeepers during my beta. You might as well pick a hit innkeeper anyway, right? In a bad inn, I've had bad facilities and 3,000g for one night. And by the way, it's usually between 100 and 200.

It's a f*cking rip-off.

"Rip-off.

Lily mimics my words. 'I shouldn't say too many swear words.

"Hey, hey, Tact. What's a rip-off?

'You mean the act of cheating customers in business? You shouldn't do that because Lily's a good girl.

'Yes! I get it!

Lily replies cheerfully. 'Here we go.

"Hmmm, you sound like your father.

I feel more like my brother, though.

I have two sisters-in-law, so it feels even more so.

'Surely a sister like that would be the kind of sister I'd want too.

No, sir.

'What? Shame.

Lewin-san says with a mischievous smile. This guy was pretty serious about it.

While having such a conversation, we arrived at the weapon shop we were looking for. But it wasn't a weapon shop, it was a stall on the side of the road.

''Crow, I've got a customer for you.

Yo. Hey, princess annihilation. You've been in the dark since the official launch of the service, bringing customers.

This person called Crowe is apparently a weapon maker, or blacksmithing job. By the way, the Annihilation Princess is Ruin-san, right? Ruin means annihilation.

''I brought a visitor with good intentions, and now I wonder if he wants to be burned whole again in duels?

This voice, I mean it. In case you're wondering, duels are a dueling system. As explained in the tutorial, it's a system set up as a solution to problems in a VR game where there are many problems. The tutorial also explained how to do it. There are various settings such as betting money and items, or just enjoying battles without betting anything.

But wait, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. But Ruin, I don't have any ores or anything like that yet, so I can't make weapons.

You're not helping.

You just came here to tell me that! There's no way you can buy ore and make a weapon in the first fifteen minutes of the game! Don't lick a blacksmith's trade!

I can't do it: ...... Too bad I can't. I thought it would be easy to do, but it doesn't seem to be that sweet.

'Well, that too. Let me just introduce you to it, okay? Mr. Takut. This is Crow. He is a blacksmith who was a beta tester like me and also made weapons for the attack team. He has a difficult personality, but he's skilled, and he's done a decent business, so you can rest assured.

"I don't want you to tell me anything about my character. Oops, this guy introduced me to Crow the Blacksmith. It's a pleasure to meet you.

This is Summoner Tact. This is Lily the Summoner. It's nice to meet you too.

'It's Lily! It's nice to meet you.

Mm-hm. That's what I'm talking about. Good on you. You know, Lilly. She was surprised at first when I patted her head, but then I realized that being patted was just as good.

"Heh-heh-heh~

He narrowed his eyes as he said.

'I'm surprised you're a summoned beast. I've never seen a humanoid before. And that they talk. And you seem to have a lot of emotions, and as usual, the management of this place is putting too much effort into it.

''I agree with you about that. I'm sure this will make the summoner profession more popular, and it's going to attract an awful lot of people to start playing this game.

Very much so. Speaking of which, you asked me for a weapon?

'Yes. I wanted Lily's one-handed sword.

Mr. Crowe is surprised to hear that.

'The boy's a vanguard? How strong are your muscles?

Twenty.

'Ta, that's high ....... If you've got that much muscle power, you're a power forward type. Then I don't have to worry about the weight of the weapon.

Is that the weight of the weapon?

According to Crowe, weapons have a weight, and if your muscle strength doesn't exceed the weight, it feels too heavy and slows you down. I'll be careful.

'Weapon making can be done for less if you get the materials together,'

Is the material a monster drop?

'Monster drops and ores and rocks. If you're a summoner, you've got the mining skills, right?

...... I haven't gotten the skills yet.

There was a list of skills, from which you could choose to acquire them. There was a list of skill points to spend there. This represents the skill points needed to acquire the skill.

According to Ruin's story, it was still important to choose a skill. In the beta test, there was a story about a wizard who got a one-handed sword skill and tried to become a wizard, but his magic was only usable with his staff and he ended up wasting skill points.

In other words, skills are not suitable for each other or compatible with each other. In the case of the summoner, the staff is standard equipment, so it seems that it is still compatible with magic.

I've been told that normally we should take the skills that are compatible first, but the key skill points are currently 25 pts.

''That's unimpressive. Mining and alchemy skills are essential skills for summoners. You'd better get them out of the way, right? Because the sooner you take a skill, the faster it grows, the faster it grows.

Why are those two essential skills?

'It's a skill needed to create the magic stones needed to summon the summoned beasts. Ordinary magic stones can be made by using the alchemy skill magic stone generation on a stone.

'As for mining, you can buy ores and stuff like that, but summoners are better suited to attack, so it's less expensive to go out into the field and collect rocks. Even summons cost a lot of money, so they are considered an essential skill. Furthermore, magic stones are said to be an essential skill because they are items that cannot be bought back, so the only way to create them is with the alchemy skill.

Hmmm. So you're saying that these two things are bad if you don't take them.

Are there any other skills that I should learn?

'Well, I suppose I'll need some kind of magic skill.

'Summoner is a rearguard position, and since Tact-kun himself is equipped with a wand, I think you'd better learn some magic.

I see, indeed, the only way to do that is to attack directly with your staff. Since we're playing a game, I'd love to use magic. The only question is which magic skills you need to learn. We've seen in the tutorial that there are six types of magic skills: wind, fire, earth, water, darkness and light. Each skill seems to have its own unique characteristics, which are explained in the tutorial, but you'll have to choose carefully.

I'll decide on this one after seeing Lily in combat. I was also told about the other appraisal skills that give you details about items and weapons, and the dismantling skill that was explained to me earlier.

I quickly mastered the smelting, mining, appraisal and demolition skills. Then comes the info.

''I've acquired the smelting skill.
I have acquired mining skills.
I have acquired the skills of a grader.
I've got the demolition skills.

I spent a total of 5 skill points, and only alchemy consumed 2 pts. This left me with 20 points left, and I checked and found that the magic skill also consumed 2 pts. I would have to use it sooner or later.
