29 # 28 Exploring the forest and encountering the boss.txt

Now that I've successfully defeated the rampaging chickens, here's something that will put us in a good mood. This is the item I got after I took apart the rampaging chicken. Here it is.

Chicken, Thigh: Rare Level 2 Food Item Quality E-
Meat from chicken thighs. It has a reddish tinge and is slightly tough but has a strong taste.

Chicken Eggs: Rare Level 2 Food Item Quality E-
Eggs laid by hens. Common eggs, often used in cooking.

I'll take a chicken. And an egg! This has expanded the range of dishes at once. It's a shame that the only seasoning is salt. Speaking of chicken thighs, it's Karaage. Will there be a day when I can make it?

'Lilly, rejoice everyone. We've got new meat!

Yay!

Lily is happy to hail it. Grey, Toratetsu, and Konoha are also very excited. Aeon, well, he's not a fish.

'Tact! Let's take down a bunch of those birds from earlier!

It looks like Lily has changed her target from a boa to a rampaging chicken.

'Well, if we find them, let's make it a priority to take them down.

Yeah!

And our search for the chickens began. But the result was that there were no chickens after that. We thought we'd run into them if we did the same thing since they appeared after we killed the chickens, but they didn't show up either. Greed sensor, too much work.

And here's what I came across on the way.

Spyder Lv4.
Summoned Monster Targeted to be defeated

The spider appeared after Lily was caught in a spider's web.

It's sticky~. I can't move~. I can't move~ Takuto, help me~

Aeon, please. I'll use my magic to defeat him.

I understand. It's the only way.

And I took out the spider with my fire, and Ion cut the spider's web to rescue Lily.

'Thanks, Aeon,'

'Don't get attached, please! It's sticky!

He was flirting with the Here are the drops

Spider Thread: rarity 2 Material Item Quality E-
The thread that spiders use to build their nests. It's sticky.

This is the next one I encountered.

Caterpillar Lv3.
Tame Monster Targeted for Demolition Battle Status

Caterpillar ended with Lily charging in, probably because of the spider web incident earlier. Here are the dropped items.

Caterpillar's Thread: rarity 2 Material Item Quality E-
A thread produced by a character pillar. It gets harder over time.

It was two strings of yarn. Is that the wrong use for it?

The next thing I encountered was a trauma class monster.

Bee Lv 5.
Summoned Monster Targeted to be defeated

Bee was lucky that Gray found us early on. There were quite a few of them, but fortunately they were at a distance, so me and Konoha's magic was the end of it. Here are the dropped items.

Honey: Rare Level 2 Food Item Quality E
Bee makes nectar. It has a sweet and distinctive flavor.

Bee Stinger: Rare Level 2 Material Item Quality E
A needle that Bee uses when attacking. It has a poisonous effect.

Lots of honey dropped, so I took one out and licked it.
It's not habitually sweet with a hint of tartness. I wonder if it's the honey from the renge grass?
Honey tastes different depending on the flowers, grasses, and trees that the bees collect.
Naturally, there are different tastes for different dishes. Therefore, I checked.

And there were five eyes staring at me as I licked the honey.
When I fed them, they were all happy.
Lily, Aeon, and Gray's reactions were especially dramatic.

''Sweet~y~''

My face is melting. I knew the girls would like something sweet.
Gray's tail is moving so much.
Then the gaze attack again. But I fight back against this.

'If you eat here, you won't have any more to spend on cooking.

Yes, I won. And my next opponent is a squirrel.

Squirrel Lv3.
Tame Monster Targeted for Demolition Battle Status

He's hurling nuts at me. And he's provoking me on the tree. It's like he's telling me to come up here~. I don't have to go and use magic, or more importantly, let Konoha attack me, but I look at the nuts. The one I used to be addicted to, can I do it? Let's try this out for a moment.

I set the nut on my right thumb and popped the nut with the sensation of a deco pin. The popped nut passes right by the squirrel. Tch...you missed it. But the squirrel's face turns blue. Then the info flows.

'Your throwing skills have been released.

Heh, it's a thrower. This. I think it's more of a throwing stone or gravel...what I used was a finger flick. It's a Chinese dark art that is normally used by flicking iron balls, lead balls and stones. I often practiced it with a slingshot ball under the influence of an animation I watched when I was a child. Naturally it was dangerous, so I was scolded and stopped doing it. But this is the world of the game, and there is no hesitation.

I took out a lot of rocks from the event files and set them in both hands. When the squirrel saw this, he hurriedly crouched down. It's a good decision. But this finger flick is surprisingly versatile - you can do this by adjusting the shape of the pebbles, the type of flick, and the amount of force.

When I play a pebble, the pebble curves and hits a squirrel that's squatting. The squirrel falls off the branch.

I shoot the falling squirrel with a series of pebbles. The squirrel, stuck in the air, turned into a beehive and died. Is it at least a bad footnote? There were no dropped items. But this is where the identification skill was leveled up.

The next one I encountered was the Kamakiller.

Kamakiller Lv 6.
Tame Monster Targeted for Demolition Battle Status

I thought it was a joke of a name, but this guy was strong. What a surprise, Lily's blow and Kamakiller's kama collided with each other and didn't blow up. This surprised me. Aeon stopped the attack of the Kamakiller that was about to attack Lily with one of his sickles. As it is, Ion can't hold on, so Toratetsu quickly bites the kama and bites it off. With one arm gone, the Kamakiller has all of them beaten up. And this guy didn't drop anything either. I'd like to tell him to at least drop his own kama. But since Aeon had leveled up, I'll forgive him.

The last one I encountered was Big Ant.

Big Ant Lv 5.
Tame Monster Targeted for Demolition Battle Status

As the name implies, it was a big ant. I fought it, thinking of a game I used to play with my friends where there was a guy like this one. This guy only attacked me with bite attacks, but he was huge, so he was pretty strong, but Ion cut off all of his legs, so I avoided the front and we all beat him up. And no items. I'm not convinced. But this is where each magic skill and summoning magic leveled up, except for fire and light.

I figured it was almost lunchtime and was about to return home when something flew at me. I dodged as quickly as I could and the object that flew at me hit the ground. When I looked at it, I saw that it was a player. It didn't move...it looked like a corpse. No, it's actually dead and has the word DEAD on it, but then it flies in one after another. What's this? Is this some kind of new attack?

After a while, nothing flies by. Curious, the player proceeds in the direction of the flight and Gray lets out a roar. It looks like there's someone in trouble. And what I discover is a giant plant monster over three meters long. When I identify it, the name appears as expected.

Garbella Glow LV?
Boss? ?

Yeah, yikes...there are four HP bars and a spot that you can't see with the identification skill. And the identification skill has been leveled up again. Just by identifying Gerbera Glow. And there were about 10 players down around Garbella Glow. Lily would ask me if I wanted to fight, but I chose to retreat here. For a moment I was wondering how far I could fight with Lily using Quick, but the number of players that flew in was four. The party limit was 6 players. That meant that it was most likely three parties of 18 players that took on this guy. If they had made it this far, they must be competent. That's what wiped them out. And Garbella Glow, who hasn't lost any HP. I don't think I can win with this. I use a return spell.

Garbella Glow has been looking at me for a long time until the magic is activated. I went back to the inn with the return, feeling oddly uncomfortable. Then the space-time magic level up info came on and I logged out.
