45 # 43 Cooking Contest Battle Soup, Meat Edition.txt

The next category is soup. This is a genre that is not very creative. But I check out what kind of food is available when I look around town. This is for future reference. I choose the non-existent dishes among them. If this dish doesn't really exist in this world, it's probably okay.

Now, the dish they made was consomme soup. I didn't have consomme stock, so it was homemade from bouillon. This is a lot of work! When we made an elaborate soup, we had to make bouillon for days. Oh, by the way, bouillon is the Japanese word for broth.

I rated it all 10. well, it's amazing that they made the consomme soup from bouillon. It took a lot of time and effort. But it's just a regular consomme soup! By the way, I make this bouillon, too.

Then it's my turn! So here are the ingredients for the bouillon first.

Chicken stock, onion, carrot, cabbage, radish, celery and shimeji mushroom.

Next, here are the ingredients for the consommé.

Ground chicken, onions, carrots, celery and egg whites.

And here are the ingredients to make the dish.

Chicken thighs, potatoes, carrots, onions, broccoli, shimeji mushrooms, milk, consommé, salt, pepper, butter and flour.

You know what I'm going to make? It's the classic winter soup dish, the counterpart to curry.

Let's make it. First of all, pour cold water into the pot from the bouillon, then add onions, carrots, cabbage, radish, celery, and shimeji mushrooms and turn on the heat. The blond handsome man put them in boiling water, but this is not right, because if you put them in boiling water suddenly, the proteins in the vegetables will be destroyed and the soup will not have any flavor.
So I warmed up the water slowly, starting with cold water, to bring out the vegetable flavors in the soup. Then, after the water comes to a boil, we add the chicken stock and boil it down while taking out the scum, and the bouillon is complete.

Now the next step is to make the consommé. First, chop the onions, carrots and celery.
Next, mix the ground chicken, onions, carrots, celery, and egg whites in a deep-bottomed pot. Then you'll have something like a hamburger.
Roll this up into a meatball and put it in the stock. Let it simmer for a while and the consommé is done.

Then, let's say it's time for the real thing.

First, cut the chicken thighs into bite size pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Cut potatoes into quarters, cut carrots into heart or star shape, and cut onions into wedges.

Cut the broccoli and shimeji mushrooms into small bunches.

Melt the butter in a pan and fry the chicken thighs first until they change color.

After the color changes, add onions and fry again.

Add the flour and stir-fry some more, then add the consommé soup, potatoes and carrots and cook.

When the vegetables are cooked, add the milk, broccoli and shimeji mushrooms and bring to a boil. Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste and it's done.

Well, it was a long process... when you actually make it, you'll appreciate the consommé and soup base. The dish is so cream stew.

I hesitated about making curry, but unfortunately, I wasn't sure about making a curry roux by hand. After all, I use a variety of spices. So I chose the stew without hesitation. Once again, the judges were surprised, even the handsome blonde-haired man was surprised.

Well, people who are not immune to white soup dishes would be surprised.

He put the stew in a small plate and served it to the judges. When I ate it with trepidation, everyone said, "Whew...it's delicious! It's the first thing that makes you feel relieved when you eat stew.

The judging was all 20, and I won by a landslide. I'm making consommé too. Furthermore, the blond handsome man's mistake was also pointed out. Bummer.

The chef, who specializes in soup, says to the poor blond handsome guy who still can't get it right.

'If you have a problem with it, try this dish.'

The handsome blond guy shakes his body when he eats the stew. That's creepy.

'Oh, that's impossible...'

I'm shaking. Yeah, I won't forgive you if you drop your plate.

Next up is Lily's favorite meat dish. It would have been an overwhelming victory if I had beaten this match with a hamburger, but I dare to go head-to-head with it. As a part-time worker at the teppan-yaki restaurant, I'm ready to accept the challenge!

The other party is, as expected, grilled sirloin. It was seasoned only with salt and pepper. You can feel the devotion.

Then, my dish was the same grilled beef sirloin, fillet, rump, pork loin, and lamb is a thigh. There were five kinds of dice steaks to choose from.

According to the manager of the teppan-yaki restaurant, if you want to grill on a teppan-yaki plate, you can't miss the sirloin, fillet and rump of beef.

The pork loin is for people who don't like oil, and the lamb thigh is for women. Make more than one sauce as well as the first one. First, I made the sauce for Yakiniku.

The ingredients were soy sauce, onion, sesame oil, red pepper, garlic and vinegar. I used salt and pepper, yuzukosho, wasabi-soy sauce, and grated ponzu.

I also prepared a good amount of vegetables to accompany the dish. I chose cabbage, onions, carrots and potatoes.

The cabbage was cut into chunks and served raw, not grilled. It's delicious grilled, but I chose raw for immediate consumption. The onions were sliced into rounds and served grilled. I grilled the onions because it makes them sweeter.

The carrots were cut like the stew and the potatoes were sliced into rounds. It would have been better if the potatoes could have been cut into star-shaped slices, but they fell apart and were difficult to eat, so I chose to cut them into regular rounds.

Finally, grill the meat and place these on the griddle and you're done.

The result was an all-20 and I won hands down. It's a form of five different ways of eating five different types of meat with different tastes. The grated ponzu was especially high on the list, as it was refreshing. The use of vegetables to add color to the dish was also well-received by the judges.

Lily is happy with the food, drooling profusely. Ion and Setia are evacuated. That's the quintessence. This is my third win in a row. As for the game, my victory has already been decided, but I have no intention of cutting corners. I'll beat the blonde handsome man to the ground without fail.
