136-135. Greedseed Online

T. Finders I miss everything.

I should have forgotten it completely, but once I remember it, the wave of memories won't stop.
When I close my eyes, the memories of those guys come flooding back.

 Roughly 2,950 years ago.
Yes ... it began in a boxed garden world just like the one we live in now.
We were forced to kill each other endlessly.
And it was on a large scale, much larger than a small game like this.......in God's playground with the epic VRMMO "Greed Seed Online" installed, with 100 million participants.

VRMMO stands for Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online, which in Japanese means "Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online".
Just remember, it's an online game played on a planet where VR technology is insanely advanced.

Anyway, Greed Seed Online.......GSO developer and cheat reincarnator, Eiji Hoba, trapped players from a number of parallel universes and invited them into a death game where they couldn't log out.
At that time, I was summoned to the game without knowing what happened to me.

Due to a number of reasons, the guild with me as the boss...T. Finders succeeded in destroying the organizer's side in cooperation with the other guilds.
By clearing the game, the logout ban is lifted and I've fulfilled my promise to everyone.
Normally, that would have been the way to say goodbye to everyone, but the fact that one of the players has the "Backpacker Cheat" changes the fate of everyone.

The "Backpacker Cheat".......in other words, the ability to get caught up in other people's summonses.

According to him, it is an ability to expand the scope of the original summoning.......the origin of the summoning.
Moreover, he has mastered summoning to the extent that he calls himself an otherworldly backpacker, and he can make others be involved in the starting point summoning.
Even 'summoning and pledging' is not an exception to the ability to summon a starting point, and I ended up working with the guild members for a while.

We were bonded by a bond that went beyond even the exchange of life, and we traveled to many different worlds.
Some of the skills we obtained in the game were cheat abilities that could be used in other alternate worlds, so although they weren't exactly the same as in the game... but still, if you look at it at the level of the game at the time, they were all strong.

I also told everyone about my situation as the key to summoning the starting point.
However, at the time, my only goal was to return to the world where Tina was, without regard to my pledge, and that was obvious from the name I gave my guild... 'Tina Finders'.

One day, at a party where everyone was gathered together for a drink, one of the founding members asked about the origin of the guild's name and said, "We're the boss's wife.

"Why don't we look for the boss's wife.......Tina-san in another world?

Maybe that was the first time I'd ever cried in front of everyone.

I had many companions on my lonely journey.
They offered to help me until they could find their way back.
They were the only ones, apart from my wife, who had actively helped me in the past and in the future....

It's an old memory, so I feel like it's been beautified in my mind, but I'm sure it wasn't all good stories.
There was discord within the guild, and some of them couldn't keep up with me, so they left.
Some found their way back home and returned to the world they came from, and there were plenty of dead people.

Still, the T. Finders, who were only a group of a few dozen cheat holders, grew in size as they continued their journey.

In an alternate world, he worked as a pirate and circled the globe in search of the One of the Treasures, a treasure that would make any wish come true.
In the Martian seas, you search for the Godcaller, which is said to be an all-powerful wish-giving tool, and defeat the intangible, mysterious boss of the Godcaller... the War Economy to bring 100 years of peace to the solar system.
Having obtained the means to travel to the dimension on my own, I've also started taking jobs as an inter-world mercenary group.
I myself wasn't really involved in the management of the group, but I did get to rampage up quite a bit when it came to requests I received in my world.

That period of time lasted for almost 150 years, I think.
Most of the founding members at that time were gone, except for the Elf Avatar, who had immortality status.

By that time, I was in a terrible hurry.
It's true that thanks to my organizational power, I was able to get a lot of information about other worlds where I wasn't present.
Still, even so........I couldn't find the other world with Tina.

Moreover, the difference in power between me and the members really began to appear.

If you go through transference reincarnation by summoning, you can get the Genri....................cheat ability to flutter between different worlds.
And yet, even though the forming members summoned with me in 'Backpacker' were supposed to be on equal terms, I was the only one who got the cheat ability and became stronger.
Looking back, I guess it was because I was a substandard exception (Overflow One), but at the time I had no way of knowing....

Eventually my impatience turned to anger, and it was directed at T. Finders itself, who couldn't produce satisfactory results.
And, as my anger grew, I forgot to thank them and felt they were just a liability to me.

"Thanks for all you've done for me. I'll take it from here on out. You don't have to follow me anymore....

Leaving everyone who tried to stop me, I resumed my journey alone again.

 So.........after that day, I thought I had disbanded "T-Finders".
Probably, even if I hadn't brought it up.......I was even more of a scumbag back then than I am now, and it would have been only a matter of time before we broke up.
It was better that the end was amicable.

I wonder how the guys are doing?

In the beginning, I had to put what I had done on the shelf and reminisce like that.
But I never saw them again after that.
As the years passed, the memories faded away.
Eventually, I gave up on the search for Tina altogether.

'Alright, alright! You're doing a great job, Mas!
"...it's nice to be praised. Heh heh heh....

Masu was a very nice girl with her mask off.
He was being stroked by me quietly.
I felt that Masu-chan was more like a grandchild than a child.
She's just so cute. I just want to spoil her!

'No, but. No way........I really don't know what's going to happen on my journey.

No because I found Tina, and then we run into each other by accident, which is really cool, isn't it?

I'm sure that Masu-chan is my pledge.
Moreover, the job Masu-chan took on is perfectly aligned with my interests.
I was thinking of destroying the world of the Boxcourt and being re-summoned to the Earth of the unknown pledges, but I'm afraid it's all for naught.
 Masu-chan, I'm going to help you, aren't I? I'm going to help you, aren't I?

However, I'm not going to talk tactlessly about how I was once the guild boss.
It's too late to know how to meet with everyone.
It's not like there are any founding members left in the first place.
She probably doesn't realize I'm the boss either, and it would be annoying if a vicious rottle like me got into it.

 But........what is it?
In the memories I remembered, I felt like there was something I couldn't ignore.

Mmmmmm... hey! Why are you getting along with Mr. Cloak?!

I was interrupted in my thoughts by a sultry voice.
For some reason, Misaki glared at us with a swollen face as we were bickering, and took us out of the item box and unpetrified us.

I'm not sure how many things have happened. We were able to hit it off.
We were enemies! No, you're still the enemy!
No, you're the enemy, for all intents and purposes.
Why do you say that? I worked super hard and didn't betray you until the end! You can't just admit it for a minute!

Masu-chan, who was frightened by Misaki, hurriedly hid in my shadow.

"Hey, hey, hey! You scare my trout, I'll kill you!
Mine?

Zugabin! For some reason, Misaki is shocked and sags.

''Well, let's leave the scary killer alone and go over there~''
Yes....!

Mas-chan nodded with an innocent smile like Stella-chan's.
I'm sure he must have been heartbroken, doing such a bleak job....
I don't know what those guys are thinking.

Sending a kid to this horrible place must be what he's doing.
I've got to complain to him, if I see him again.
