4 Episode 3 Goblins pick up.txt

(Is this ...... goblin language?)

The Great Sage judged that when he heard the voice.

Goblin is, as its name suggests, the language of the goblins.
Most humans couldn't understand it, but the Great Sage could.

He was called the Great Sage not only because of his ability to manipulate magic of all kinds, but also because of his knowledge. It's also because of his knowledge.
 That knowledge includes language.
The Great Sage could control almost any language in existence.

There's a baby ningen at ......
"What's a ningen doing here, no!
She was either abandoned or there was something wrong with her.

It seems the two goblins have found the Great Sage.
One of the goblins is an adult, and the other seems to be a child. Both genders are probably female.

The Great Sage was hopeful that the monster that had found him was a goblin.
Earlier, he had thought the demon would find him and that would be the end of it, but now he realized that he hadn't taken the goblin's existence into account and that there was a hole in his thinking.

Goblins are humanoid demons . Small and adult, they're only the size of a human child.
They have a single horn sprouting from their forehead and their skin is a reddish hue.

 Goblins vary in their nature.
Some are mild-mannered and others are cruel. Just like humans.

But it is almost always the cruel goblins that enter the inhabited world and are recognized by humans.
So for a long time, goblins were thought to be cruel and vicious demons.

(I must have been about thirty years old in a previous life when I found out there were benevolent goblins, too. As it turned out, goblins were still hated, but what about today?)

Maybe they're on friendly terms with humans.
If so, there's a good chance they'll help you.

Ningens are scary people. My friend says they'll kill you if they see you.
Well, yeah.

The Great Sage is astonished to hear these words.

(A law was supposedly passed by my advice that goblins could not be killed unnecessarily, for there are those who mean no harm to humans. Has that law been abolished? (When did the fact that there are mild-mannered goblins out there get forgotten?

The Great Sage tries to figure out what's going on in this day and age, where magical geniuses are treated as outliers and goblins are treated improperly, but he can't find an answer.

What are you going to do with this ningen? I'm going to die if I don't.

These goblins didn't seem to be doing anything bad, but they would usually be abandoned, the Great Sage had predicted .
If this was going to happen, he regretted that he should have spread the word a bit more that goblins weren't just bad guys, but

Help.

And then the mother goblin said the unexpected words.

'Save no? What? The little goblin asked the obvious question.
The chief said they weren't the only ninjas who were bad. Abandoning a newborn baby like this is a sure way to die. Well, that's just too bad.
I know. But you're definitely pretty cute.

And so the mother goblin holds the Great Sage.

We need to get back to the village.
Duh!

And with that, the two of you will return to the goblins' village.

Can you help us? I guess my luck hadn't run out yet, the Great Sage thought.

The ones in the village might not like it, and I'm not sure goblins are capable of raising a ningen in the first place.

The mother goblin had said such a disturbing thing, and I had a feeling that there were still pitfalls, and I felt a sense of unease in my heart.
