57 Episode 56 Return.txt

Bellamus took Romesa to Delarosa and Medero.

Oh, Bellamus is back!

Delarosa, a little tired of waiting, ran up to him as soon as she saw Bellamus and said

'Huh? ...... That's your sister, Le?

Delarosa looks at Romesa and tilts her head back.

Did I hear my sister scream?
Your ears are too pointy.

I saw Delarosa and Medero, and I saw that Romesa

"Mr. Bellamus, Mr. Bellamus. Who are they? There's something horned in there.
On the right is Delarosa, the magic goblin and my family, and on the left is Medero, also a magic goblin and friend of mine.
'I don't know much about goblins, but you're human, Bellamus, aren't you? Is that still family?
Yes.
Heh, there's a lot going on here.

When Delarosa saw Bellamus and Romesa conversing in Elvish, Delarosa

'Vellum Soo! I don't know what you're talking about. Tell me who that lady is.

 He said it out loud.

"I'm sorry. This is Romesa the Elf. She was lost in the woods and Kobold was chasing her. She doesn't seem to have anywhere to go, so I'll take her back to town. We'll put a stop to the road-building for now.
What's an elf? I've heard of it.
This road was built to allow free passage to the elves, as you told me before, Mr. Bellamus.
Yeah.

 Delarosa nods her head .
Then, in front of Romesa, Delarosa and, alongside Medero

"I am Delarosa! Nice to meet you!
Medeiros. It's nice to meet you!

 And then he introduced himself.

"What is he saying?
"I'm introducing myself. You told me your name, okay? He just wants to say hi.
Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Romesa El Mercredo! Nice to meet you!

Belamus translated Romesa's words and told Delarosa and Medero.

Then he returns to the city.
They don't speak the language, but Delarosa and Medero seem to take a great interest in her, and on the way back they ask her a series of questions.
This made it harder for Vellums to translate for her.

"Thank you, Mr. Bellamus, for translating for us. Are you the only one who speaks Elvish?
I don't know. Maybe the people around Medina know about it, but ...... no, it's a pretty minor language, so you don't know it indeed.
'Is talking about elves a minor thing? Why can you speak, Mr. Bellamus?
I can speak almost any language in the world.
Wow, you're amazing for such a small guy. I should be able to speak what little Delarosa and Medeiro are saying to each other. I think I'd like to stay in town with you, Vellums, for a while.
Speaking of which, how long do you plan on staying in town?
Until the heat dies down: ...... about 10 years?
Are you going to stay that long?
'What? Is ten years that long?
......

Elves have a long lifespan, Vellums guessed, so their sense of time is a bit different than humans'.

'If you're going to learn the language, I'm going to have to teach you.
Nice to meet you. Oh, yeah. I need you to teach me a simple greeting. Like, "Thank you." "Hello.
That's right. I'll let you know when we get to town.

On the way to the city, Beramus decided to teach Romesa some simple goblin words.
She picked up some of the words easily and learned to speak them.

You're a quick study.
Yeah. I'm pretty good at this.

You look pleased with yourself, Romeo and Juliet. She seems to be quite easy to get on with.

I'll teach her more than just simple greetings, he thought, and walked toward town, teaching her a few words, and before he knew it, he'd learned quite a few.

I should be able to carry on a simple conversation in five days, Bellamus thought with admiration.

Once in town, Beramus introduced Romesa to everyone in town.
No one was particularly dismissive. They were quite interested, and they asked a lot of questions.

The town's residents had taken her in, but there were no houses available.
There's a room in the meeting hall that's empty, so we've decided to let them live there for a while.
There is land available, so Vellums has decided to build Romesa's house there later.
