1009 Episode 1009

Ray couldn't understand for a moment what the alchemist in front of him had said.
Words that came out of the mouth to that extent were unexpected.
 But he immediately looked convinced.
Who is the enemy of Kabazid? I guess I'm one of them.
Originally, Kabazid held alchemists under his control.
Because of this, we used a number of magic items, so our relationship probably wasn't so bad.
In fact, as long as there's someone who wants Ray as a revenge for Kabazid, that should never be wrong.
Zubo's words are by no means wrong, given that anyone who doesn't like Kabazid would have moved to another faction.

(It was almost suicide that Kabazide died, but it was definitely related to me that drove him to that point.)

The face of a cabazade passes through Ray's mind.
But Ray also has a strong desire to live in Kabazide.
The reason is that Kabazide told us about Japanese cherry blossoms that the inhabitants of this world would never know.
In other words, for Ray, Kabazid was from his hometown.

(Thinking of Thakum who was in Zepail's family, it would never have happened, but it was a great thing that he had been in front of him, and he had let him die.)

For a moment, the civil war in the Vestian Empire passes through my mind, but I immediately turn my thoughts to the person with the hateful eyes in front of me.

"Let me ask you just in case." Wasn't there anything wrong with Kabazide? In the first place, it was almost a suicide. Isn't it unreasonable for you to bear a grudge against me?"
"Don't be silly!"

The angry voice echoing from the mouth is as loathsome as its eyes.
Hate so much that no one would believe that ordinary people have a rather gentle personality.

"In the first place," Why are you so supportive of Kabazid? The civil war in the Empire of Bestia is over, and I think you ought to live in the Empire of Bestia as an alchemist instead of doing this."
"...your lord Kabazeed, who found and raised me, who had nothing but death in my life. Do you want me to take such a benefactor in silence?"
"Your benefactor?"

Ray, leaning his head, thought for a moment that Vichela might have known the man in front of him, but when he turned to Vichela, he saw him trying to close the gap, avoiding Claymore, which Diaz wielded.

(Why are you avoiding it so big?)

If you're a regular Vihela, you should have given up on the attack with a single piece of paper and used it as a counter to attack...
However, Vihela now only largely avoids Diaz's attack.
I didn't know why the situation was like that, but I think it's meaningless to say it now.

(And if Vihela had known him, she would have said something when he appeared.)

Vichela's silence at the sight of Zuboz made it clear she probably didn't know him.

"Well, I understand your hatred of me... but I understand. But why did you give a monster magic item? I don't think I'm the only one you hate. I don't think Gilmoo has anything to do with it."

Wary of poles with ice-producing shields, Ray asks.
It's not that hard to fight against ice in itself.
Fortunately, there are not many buildings around here, so if you want to do something about the ice shield, you should be able to do it.
But it was one thing to do with the ice shield and another to catch the person using it alive.
In Ray's eyes, it is clear that Paul has a strong body that reminds him of a mountain, and that he is training himself.
If you still ask me if I'm used to rough things, I have to lean my head.

(If you were a man of the Westian Empire, you might have a certain strength... you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know. But if you ask me if I can stand the attack with the Red Armour of the Flame Emperor... what will I do with magic?)

As Ray ponders what to do, Zuboz opens his mouth with a smile.

"I already know that this guillem is an important place for you. I feel like such an important place is being ravaged...is it best to have people know about it?"

Perhaps the excitement had subsided, but his tone had returned to its usual.
Ray's eyebrows are frowned uncomfortably as he looks at them.

"In other words, you caused the disturbance just to harass me?"
"Of course that's not all. It's a compilation of the experiments I've been doing."
"... I suppose,"

As an alchemist, it is safe to say that he has a high level of ability to use magic items, as he is essentially not competent enough to use magic items, even ordinary goblins and covolts will be able to use magic items.
It was well known by Ray, who had actually fought against Cobboldt, and although it was not known whether he was a rare or superior cyclops species, the already powerful individual had become an even more powerful individual by holding a hammer of a magic hammer.
Ray could have knocked him down easily, but if it had been a regular adventurer, he would have caused considerable damage.
Now that he understands it, Ray has to accept what he says.

(Do you mean to extract information?)

Ray was a little lost, but I had the feeling that if I could make time here, it would be advantageous for Elena and Vihela.
It can be said that they made the choice because they knew their abilities.

(Especially in Elena's case, she doesn't seem to be so strong.)

This is Elena, who performed the succession ceremony and gained the power of the Ensent Dragon. I'm not quite using that power yet, but I still have the ability to distinguish myself from others.
Now she's being overwhelmed by magic items that surprise her opponent, but it was even a matter of certainty for Ray that Elena would win before long.
That being the case, it's not a bad option to have the information you need now that the other person is excited and talkative.

(and you can't keep using that magic item that creates the ice shield forever.)

Lei glances at Paul's magic shield and opens his mouth to the slips.

"Why don't you introduce yourself? You seem to know my name, but unfortunately I don't know your name."

The words that came out of Ray's mouth made a momentary, unexpected look on his face.
You never thought you'd be encouraged to introduce yourself here.
But he soon regained his composure and opened his mouth.

"That's all right. Who are you going to lose your life to? It would be pitiful to die without knowing it."
"Talk in your sleep. ... No, you shouldn't talk in your sleep. It's noisy."

Ray's provocative tongue twitched his cheek for a moment, but as long as he knew it was just Ray's way, he had no intention of following the provocation.
 He continued, though somewhat twitching.

"First of all, the magical sword I made over there, Diaz, is using the scales of the wind. As you can see, the magical sword is claymore and powerful in one blow, but at the same time it is difficult for an opponent like Vihela, whose main focus is avoidance."
"...Vyhela has run away, though she is a former member of the royal family of the Empire of Bestia." Don't you have to add honorifics to your name?"
"Do you want me to respect the man who caused Prince Kabazid to die? If she hadn't acted like him, Prince Kabazid would not have died?"

Judging by his obsession with hatred of Kabazid's murder, Ray shifts the subject.

"And won't you tell me about the magic items that the Diaz uses, such as wind scales?"
"What are you talking about? You said you would introduce me, but you would go out of your way to explain about this weapon?"
`...you said earlier to someone who, like Vihela, focuses on evasion,'

When Ray tells her to take off her legs, she blushes with anger.
He wanted to tell Ray that you guys were at a disadvantage, thereby giving him a taste of despair.
But he is the only one who has been too sensitive to Ray's words so far, and Ray doesn't seem to have moved at all.
That was because Ray believed in the strength of Elena and Vihela, but that was increasingly unpalatable to him.

"Calm down, my dear,"

Paul, holding the magic item of the shield that creates ice, opens his mouth.
I'm not surprised to see that he has a rather large shield, just because he's a giant pole.Perhaps Paul's words calmed him down, but after a small exhale, he reopens his mouth.

"No, no, no. What I did with you almost got upset with your words. ... now, shall we go on? It is my partner, Adria, who is fighting against General Hime. You can see that this is also using my own magical sword, the fangs of the wind."

As Adria continues to shoot countless arrows from her handle, Zuboz ostensibly shrugs her shoulders before opening her mouth.

"I don't have to go out of my way to explain what kind of capabilities I'm... seeing you use it to your heart's content."
"Well, I'm curious how you put that amount of arrows in the handle."

I don't mean to say that I have a genuine doubts.
This magic item is designed to store as many things as are normally impossible to store.
 Ray knew what it was.
No, it's far from knowing. The iconic thing fits into Ray's right arm.

(I don't think it's an item box like a mistling, but it's an item box that's not as good as Elena's, and it's built into the handle of a long sword. But if that's all, the arrow should come into Adria's hands if she tries to get it out, did you say Adria?)

Ray thinks, remembering his mystery ring and what Elena used to call a simple or degraded magic item.

(that is to say, there is still something else in the dagger?)

Ray smiles the same way as Zuboz, who is smiling.
I suppose you didn't like it. Laughing until a few seconds ago, Zuboz opens his mouth grumpily.

"Why are you laughing?" General Hime, after all, is an individual. that you can keep the arrows from attacking you forever?"
"You can do it,"

As he spoke, Ray turned to Elena... no, he turned his gaze a moment away from where Elena was.
I see something as expected there, and I smile even more.

"Is it Elena, nicknamed General Hime, who thinks she can do something with magic items that can only keep shooting arrows? That's a little too much of a contempt for Elena."
"...but in fact, it's all about defense?"
"Well, I can honestly say I was surprised. He's just shooting an arrow...or, in this case, shooting an arrow? He's shooting an arrow to prevent Elena from avoiding it, even though he's in that state. He looks like a warrior, but he can use a bow."
"Yes, of course," That's why I entrusted that sort of fang."

 The words were half bluff.
When I escaped from the magic item store, I had to leave most of the items behind, and of the magic items that Adria had prepared in this slum, only the fangs of the wind seemed to be the best to use.
Ray then opens his mouth with a smile as if he had seen through such bluff.

"Well, that woman Adriatic seems to have had enough of her fangs. But I'll tell you a good thing."

Ray continues, seeing the presence in the corner of his field of vision begin to move on.

"The errand and the master are united...."
"Squeak!"

In keeping with Ray's words, a yellow struck Adriatic's right hand... the wind tusks in his right hand were thrown into the air.
