1327 Episode 1327

Obviously some people deserve to be called chimpy, but when the Vihela looks at them, they gently look away.
Other than that, there are children, who have never been seen by Vihela.

(Don't get involved with a strong opponent? .Don't get involved with a strong opponent? Of course not all of them are, but... it feels like a slime-gown, not a slum.)

Watching Vihela, Ray suddenly feels that way.
Of course I don't have to say it out loud.

"Vihela, you have something to do before you look for a strong opponent."

Rey calls out to Vihela, unaware of what she thought of as Slime Street.
Usually, if there was a fight against the strong, Vichela would often ignore what others said, but now she would have decided that there was no particularly strong opponent.
They seem a little dissatisfied, but immediately stop looking for an enemy.

"Well, I've heard that Precious is heading for a slum, but you don't know where he really is, do you?"

Vihela's gaze is directed at the informed marina.
But as usual, he just shrugs his shoulders in a party dress.

"They didn't seem to have that much information, either." We have no choice but to look for it from now on."
"... the slums?"

It's quite a wide range, though we're lumping it together as a slum.
Because Gilm is visited by many adventurers almost every year.
 That's just like this season.
No, spring is the most common season, but there are many adventurers who come to Gilm in seasons other than winter.
As long as they come to Gilmoo, they are naturally confident in their skills, but there are many such adventurers who will only be frustrated if they actually work in Gilmoo.
A typical example of this is that where you've been active, you've only got someone like a goblin.
While some die when they encounter powerful monsters in the middle of a request, many still survive.
and that they couldn't get along with the guillem, and their growing minds were broken down... and they ended up in slums.
If you can't get along with the guillem, you have the option of leaving the guillem and heading to a safer place, but those who have lost their pride can't afford it and reach the slums.
Of course, the slums are tough and many people lose their lives... but I still have some confidence in myself... no, there are many adventurers who adapt to the slums and survive.
Still, as long as the ex-adventurer ... lives in the slums for many other reasons, the slums will naturally expand if there are more people who die in the slums.
The existence of this slum was also a source of concern for Dusker, who was governing Gillum.
Because it is a slum, taxes are not introduced compared to other places, and because of its characteristics, it is a haven for the underworld and criminals, and it is a hotbed for various crimes.
Although investigations have been made with the usages of the robbers, the wolves of the meadows, who have great power in Dusker's intelligence, have much more work to do.
As a result, the slums were almost left unchecked.
...a slum full of adventurers, one of the main reasons being that some of them are capable enough to compete even with high-ranking adventurers.
Anyway, it was clearly impossible for us to find such a complex and vast slum ourselves.
I'm sure Marina understands it. look around a little hesitatingly
But... there's no way there would be anyone willing to get involved with the seemingly reasonable Ray.
Those who are turned to the marina turn away immediately.
But I didn't act as if I were going to leave the place immediately because I thought it would offend the laymen and...
Or was it simply impossible to move from there in the face of the Gryphon set?
 Please don't come to me.
Of those who wish so... Marina noticed a boy in his early teens.
The early teens, however, are considered to be part of the workforce by this Elgin.
What's more, this is a slum. Naturally, she had been working since she was a little girl, and so was the boy Marina noticed.

"Hey, me. Can I have a moment?"
"What! What do you want from me?"

If others see you scared, you're despised.
With that in mind, the boy exclaimed, but it was obvious that he was pushing it too hard.
But Marina smiles to calm such a boy down.
...and the boy was fascinated by Marina's smile.
It may be a little early to call puberty... but I'm still young enough to be interested in the opposite s*x.
Marina's smile on such a person... not the glamorous smile she usually has, but the gentle smile was destructive.

"I'd like to ask you something. Oh, of course I won't say for free. Ray, give me some bread."
"Bread? Copper coins are better, aren't they?"
"No. Anyway, I'll explain the reason later."
"... well, if you say so,"

Mistyling is full of food and copper.
Therefore, there was no particular problem with the small expenditure.

(I was involved in the internal conflict of the Speel Company, and I'm sure I'll make more money than I've spent.)

If Precious is the culprit in this case, this amount of expense is of no consequence to Ray, who is going to milk him in the name of apology.

"If you answer my question, I'll give you this bread." -- what do you think?"
"What do you want to hear?"

The boy asks, staring at Marina's bread... not sandwiches, but regular bread -- but fresh bread.
There was no particular reaction to Ray's mistling.
Do you not understand the value of the magic item itself, Mistiling, or do you understand what happens if you touch Ray poorly?

"Precious today... No, didn't you come to the slum a little while ago?"
"Precious? I don't know you told me your name."

 The boy's words were natural.
Rays know the name and face of a character named Precious, but there's no way anyone in the slum knows it.
It would be a different story if you were on intimate terms with Pressure.

"Well, I'm sorry," A little thick, like this -- a man with a long beard."
"A thick beard?" ... oh, yes. I passed by a little while ago. Mr. Slain took me with him."
"Slane? Where can I meet that person?"
"...are you going? I think we should stop it. Mr. Slain was originally a skilled adventurer, and I hear he is quite strong."

Marina smiles and hands the bread to the boy who tells him anxiously."It's all right. It looks like this and we're strong."

Even so, the boy is not convinced.
In the first place, the Rays seem to be in danger to a boy who doesn't have the power to measure his opponent's strength.

"The bread is an information fee, so eat it quickly."

In Marina's words, the boy quickly eats the bread he was given.
Marina's eyes as she watches it have a touch of sadness.
I'd like to do something about having a child like this in the slum if possible... but there's nothing that can be done about the marina of today.
All you can do is hand over bread like this.
Leaving the boy there, Marina encourages the laymen through the slums.

"Why was it bread, not copper?"
"... for copper is likely to be taken away by someone else. In that respect, if you eat bread, it won't be taken away."
"I see,"

There are more adults in the slums than children.
If such people find a copper coin, many will gladly steal it.
In order not to do so, Ray can only agree with Marina's words that she gave him bread to eat right away.
Vihela opens her mouth in a slightly dark atmosphere.

"Moreover, Slane is a former adventurer and a good hand, I wonder what kind of person he is?"
"I'll tell you, we came this time to do psychological damage to Precious, not to fight in the real thing."

Vichela's words dispel the gloom, but Ray says thankfully, but with a pang of gratitude.
Vichela looks a little dissatisfied at the remark.
Still, he quits, wondering if he immediately remembered what was going on.

"Well, then, shall we go. You've got to go down this road, haven't we? I don't know what kind of reaction the Precious will make, but I'd be glad if you'd give me something."
"Well, yes," But I'll deal with Slain."
"Well, if it comes to battle, please." -- well, I don't think it's going to be a real battle."

If it's related to prestige, it's safe to know your name.
If that were the case, Ray would knowingly launch an attack... he thought it would be a delicate point.
Vihela must have sensed such a situation. With a slightly dull look on his face... and a ray of hope that it might still be a battle, he marched down the slums.
And, as a matter of course, there was someone watching the laymen.

"Hey, that's the wing of the Red Lotus that was formed recently, isn't it? It's from the Rank B party. What's the matter with the slum?"

a short distance from where the lays are walking
One of the people who was looking out of a room in a slum, a little rare, muttered:

"What? Is that kid a rank B kid? You're lying, right? I'm still stronger."

The one muttering so is a newcomer who has just come to the slum and joined a man's organization.
Rather than slum, he had not been long since he came to Gilmoo, but the man in charge of education breathed a sigh of astonishment at the words he muttered confidently.

"Are you a fool?" No, you were a fool. or I wouldn't come to the slum so early."
"Isn't that too much?"
"... just watch carefully." Ray's got a Gryphon, and you know if it's possible for him to make such a monster subservient?"
"Like luck?"
"Well... well, I don't deny that,"

In fact, if you're unlucky, you won't be able to encounter a glyphon in the first place.
though the man did not know how much luck it would take to overturn it and to time it, for he would normally lose his life when he encountered it.

"If you're a former adventurer, you've heard of crimson,"
"...what? Is that kid crimson!"
"You. If you come to Gilmoo, go study a little."

The man breathed out a sigh and, for the time being, ran a newcomer to let him know about the matter.
