1832 Episode 1832

While a party was being held to console servants, the invasion of black wolves naturally surprised Liberte.
Nevertheless, it is intolerable for servants to wrap up a party they enjoy at the end of the year, and it ends up looking for black wolves for free knights and guards.
 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The reason for the latter, however, could not be said for sure, given that some of the men had attacked Ray after the mock war, who had lost their sanity with drugs.
However, Ray's impression is that the black wolf probably uses it like a hand piece only as a good non-commoner.
In fact, the people who attacked Ray after the mock battle were also those who were addicted to drugs.
At any rate, the invasion of the Black Wolf caused some trouble, but it was unfortunate for the knights and guards in charge of today's bodyguards, but it gave the rest of the party a pleasant party that was perfectly fine.
So it was ostensibly fun... but behind the scenes, the party in which today's duty ran about was over, and Ray was heading to Sett's stable with all the food he had eaten at the party.
Normally, the food left at the party would be eaten by Georgima and other cooks, or by servants tomorrow, but this time Liberte allowed Seto to take the food left at Ray.
Today's set meal was more luxurious than usual because it was a party...but it still falls a little compared to what was actually served at the party.
That's why it was great for Ray to know that Liberte was thinking about Seto when he was at the party.

(But I remember hearing that it is too salty to give dogs human food as it is... well, it is too late.)

Seto has always eaten the same food as Ray, and most importantly, Seto is not an animal, but a monster... that's also an unusual species created by witchcraft.
Then I thought it wouldn't be a problem to eat the same food as I normally eat...

"What!"

I heard some sort of sound of destruction, and Ray looked sharply at the sound... towards Sett's stable.
Then, before you think about it, you start running.
The sound of destruction clearly came from Seto's direction.
That being the case, it's only natural that you did it.
However, there must have been some circumstances where Sett had to do so, as long as he was meaningless and could not have done such a thing.
And today black wolves are creeping into this mansion.
Ray's intuition, which he met face-to-face with, was that the black wolf would have no other choice but to interfere with himself.
But if the other party becomes Seto... I can't say for sure.
Seto is perceived as Ray's subservient, which means he can be identified as one mind with Ray.
Nevertheless, Ray had thought that the black wolf would not interfere with Seto, but as long as he could hear the sound of destruction, there was a possibility.
In the moonlight, Ray runs on the ground.
Fortunately, snow never piles up, and it's not hard to run because it's muddy underfoot.
He trod on the ground and eventually saw Sett's stable in front of Ray.

"...what?"

The stables had come into sight, but there were a few who had fallen a short distance from them, and they were not, to all appearances, black wolves.
Seeing it, Ray approaches the fallen figure, reassuring that it was not the Black Wolf who was attacked by Seto, but wondering who.
The sound of running from afar was probably due to the sound of the destruction of the stable walls.
It was only natural that the sound of destruction would attract guards and knights, as the black wolf crept in tonight.

"Well, for now... who the hell are you?"

muttering, Ray puts the stunned face in the moonlight at the blow of Seto.
Seto must have been careful not to kill him. The men seemed to be injured like broken bones, but no one was dead.

"Are all three men? ... but I don't remember seeing them."

For the time being, the men's faces were completely unfamiliar to Ray.
He's not a black wolf, no wonder.

"Set, come out for a second!"
"Rolling".

Following Ray's voice, Sett comes out of the stable.
Maybe you paid attention to it, but it's not the wall that Seto destroyed, but through the door.
Still, the reason Sett looked a little apologetic was probably because he had broken the stable.
Ray caresses such a set and asks with an attitude of not caring.

"And? These guys attacked me... are you sure?"
"Gruly!"

 That's right! at Ray's words.
Ray, however, had no intention of making a problem of this matter, as he knew that Sett could not do this without any meaning.
But that's just what Ray thinks, and I don't know how the Duke of Quevel will judge him.

"Hey, what's that sound?"

Such voices were those of the guards and knights who had finally arrived here.

"It's too late, apparently. These guys crept into Sett's stable and launched an attack, and Sett fought back against it... like this."

It was probably because he knew the guards and knights, and Ray looked at the three men who were fainting on the ground.
The guards and knights also show some understanding of Ray's words because they don't think Sett did this without any meaning because of his association with Ray and Sett.
However, just because you know each other doesn't mean you fully believe what Ray says.
Check the face of the fallen person...

"Who is this?"

muttered the Knight's man with a quizzical look.
 It's not a joke, it's a real question.
The guards look at the knight's appearance in question.
But what I ended up with was the same question as the knight's man.

"You look as if you didn't see me. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ."

an unfamiliar face to a guard
If only one of these faces were familiar to you, it wouldn't be so strange.
The Duke of Kelebel's residence is such a size building as to be described as a castle.
Of course, the number of people working there will increase, and it's fair to say that there will be a reasonable number of people who aren't at today's party.
Still, there were two knights and two guards, both of whom were men's... no, that I had never seen all three men's faces at all, was clearly nothing but abnormal, that is...

"These men are not servants of the Duke of Quevel, and given that they were attacked by Sett in the stable, aren't they?"

When Ray mutters, the knight and the guard nod and look sternly at the three men fainting on the ground.

"I mean, these guys are the intruders you've heard of?"
"No. They must be different mouths from you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .."

Ray, denying the security guard's words, was making predictions, but there was a smile that could be described as cold-blooded.
There was no problem with Seto intercepting it this time, but it was a different story whether it would allow it.
It is no wonder that Ray wields the scythe of death that his partner... has been so manipulated by someone worthy of being called a half‐body.
In that sense, the men who were stunned by Seto's attack were probably lucky.
The Knights and the Guardians, from Ray's appearance, say in a flustered tone, especially when the fainted men wake up here that they find it unsavory in many ways.

"First of all, there is no doubt that these men are the cause of this disturbance, and if you let them pass out here, they won't know what you'll do when you wake up, so we'll throw them in jail. ... Fortunately, they've come."

The moonlight and the lights of the building clearly showed the guards and knights coming to their place.
...but perhaps it was only through the night-watching Rey and Sett that I was able to discern his face clearly.

"Yes,"

With some reluctance, Ray has probably decided that there is no point in forcing himself to say something here. He agrees with the word that he will take the three fainting men to prison.
but he would not turn over the men in silence, as it should be."

"If you find out what these men were thinking of breaking into Sett's stables, you can pass the information over to me, can you?"
"Oh... I know. I need to ask my superiors just in case, but I think it's okay.""Well, if you say no there, I think you'll tell me if you ask the Duke of Quevelle."
"That's..."

 Ray's words stifled the knight.
Indeed, Ray's servant, who was treated as a guest of the Duke of Kelebel, was attacked by a stranger.
If Ray wanted to know the information, Liberte would have to speak from his standpoint as Duke of Quevel.
After all, if the information was going to Ray, it was definitely a good idea to tell them the information out of their mouths, not to bother Liberte.
In the worst case, Liberte could be scolded from above for not giving information.
Knights and soldiers would have refused if Ray had been asked to release information about a disturbance that had nothing to do with him.
But this time Ray's demon Seto was attacked, so there was no problem telling him the information.
The only drawback is who is fainting from Sett... well, it's very likely that he's not from the Duke of Quevel, so I don't know who he is.

"Okay. When I know who these guys are, I'll let Ray know. Just... promise me one thing. If you know who these guys are, you'll have to beat them up at home or anywhere else."
"...does that mean you want me to leave you alone.

Ray's eyes, telling him so, have a touch of dissatisfaction.
However, leaving them alone creates a kind of line for those who attack Ray and Sett.
The chances were high that Ray would not counterattack rather than attack Sett.
Of course, Ray's complaints may be due to the fact that it's not fun to leave him alone, but that's a bigger percentage.
Knights and guards also speak calmly to see if they understand Ray's feelings.

"These men broke into the Duke of Kelebel's residence without permission. That being the case, they can't go on like this. The same goes for the one who is pulling the strings behind them."

At that remark Ray hesitates a little... and nods.
But that's because he decided that leaving it to Liberte rather than doing something himself would have the worst consequences for the person who attempted the case.

"All right. I'll leave it to you for the time being. But if you think the Duke of Quevel is too lenient, I'll take action."

 Yes, I'll be careful.
Knights and guards nod in agreement that Ray's words would not be a problem.
Indeed, what retaliation Liberte would take against his guest Ray's followers... for he could assure the knights and guards that Ray would never do anything about it.
