1851 Episode 1851

The day after the party, Ray had to get up much later than usual, partly because he slept late.
Wakeed up by Miranda and dressed up, Ray decides to walk around the Duke of Kelevel after breakfast.
In addition, Miranda told me that the clothes Miranda wore at the party that she came to pick up before she went to bed would be given to Miranda in new condition at a later date.
For Ray, wearing those clothes meant attending a noble party, so Miranda felt happy but mixed.
I'm sure, however, that I ended up saying thank you.
 That's why now...

"Glu! Glu! Glu! Glu!

I was enjoying a walk with Seto, who sounded happy.
As long as Sett is with him, it's natural that he can walk in the house... ...but considering the size of the house in the Duke of Quelevel, it's only natural that he won't walk in.
And no matter how large the Duke of Quevel is, and Sett is able to walk about normally, if anything happens, it could be a second dance to destroying the stables to intercept his predecessors.
The reason why I feel that way is probably because I'm thinking about the past.

(And Seto seems to be having more fun outside.)

Seto probably prefers a place where he doesn't have to worry about his surroundings because he's a big guy.
...however, Seto likes to play with people.

"Is Yero sleeping with Elena by now?"
"Grull".

At Ray's words, Seto says yes.
Since being greeted as a guest at the Duke of Kelebel's residence, Yero has spent considerable time with Seto.
When he was in Gilm, he spent a lot of time with Seto... but again, this is probably related to the Duke of Quelebel's residence in Annesis, or the house of Yero.
For Yero, it's like Seto's at home now.
Moreover, when this was the first time, there was no way that Yero would not welcome Seto.
Yet Yero is still a child.
My favorite friend... it's fun to be with Seto, who I can describe as a close friend, but it's only natural that I want to be with my mother Elena, who has created me.

"Did you enjoy being with Yero?"
"Gruly!"

At Ray's words, Seto exclaims joyfully.
She loved Ray, but of course, there are other people besides Ray.
That's why I was so happy to be able to play with him.
As I walk with that kind of communication, I suddenly hear a spirited voice.
Ray heard it, so naturally it would have been heard by Seto, but Seto didn't seem to care about it.
Ray knows what he's listening to, so he doesn't really care about it and goes along with Seto toward the sound of his voice.

(The voice I hear is a strange one. At least it's certain that I'm not from the Knights of Quelevel. And above all, it's a shrill one... young?)

Ray doesn't remember all the voices of the Duke of Kelebel, but he still has experience in mock warfare with almost everyone.
That being the case, it was natural to remember who the voice was as soon as I heard it.

"Now, who is it?"

I didn't have anything particular to do with the person with the voice.
It's not that... but there's no doubt that I got this interested.

(Guardian? Well, even a guard would train, but what you hear is just one voice.)

If the guards are training, it's strange that no one... in some cases dozens of voices have to be heard.
However, Ray and Sett's voice is heard from where they are going.
We went through the garden of the Duke of Kelevel... and then we saw the scene.
The only man that came into Ray's view.
No, it would be better described as a boy or a child than a man.
In Ray's eyes, he's only about ten years old.
It was understandable, considering that he did not look like a guard, and that the reason for the shrill voice he had heard at the same time had not changed his voice.
However, even a child whose voice has not changed is serious as far as practicing is concerned.
It's obvious from the side that it's not a children's game.

"Well, hey, hey!"

The child thrusts out his spear sharply in his hand with a shout of spirit.
The way it looks, though not very sophisticated, would be appropriate to describe it as unsophisticated.
But... yet his expression was very serious, indicating how serious he was in practicing the spear.

"Glu?"

Seth chants at Ray, who was watching such a child.
That's what he says, "Are you still here?"
For Seto, it's only natural that he wants to take more walks with Ray.

"Oh, yes. Then... Huh?"

 Shall we go somewhere else?
Ray was going to say that, but suddenly he realized that the child's voice had disappeared.
What Ray looked at casually was a child with shining eyes.
The point of view is intense respect.
I didn't wonder why he looked at me like this, but I wonder if he could look at me like this when I was notorious.

"Oh, it's Ray in crimson, isn't it?
"Well, it's sometimes called that,"

It was probably Seto who recognized the person in front of him as Ray.
Ray, now wearing a dragon lobe hood, is difficult to identify as Ray from the sidelines.
But if you see Sett next to Ray, anyone who's heard of crimson will recognize him.
...however, even if you hear of Ray, it's a different story whether you believe him or not.
Fortunately, however, none of the children looked up to Ray.

"Well... I saw the mock game last time. It was amazing!"

He said he had seen a mock battle and was training his spear in the garden of the Duke of Kelebel.
With that in mind, it's obvious what this child is like.
If you've only seen a mock war, it's no wonder you're a resident of Anesis.
But if you're here, you're rightly concerned with the nobility.

(Is it a place where the nobles who were invited to yesterday's party stayed at this house for some reason, and their children...?)

Ray tries to say something about it, expecting it to be probably right, but in that moment Seto looks behind him.
The sudden action stops Ray from opening his mouth and turns his eyes to it again.
Still, he didn't seem wary because Sett looked as usual.
The child follows Seto and Ray's eyes mysteriously, but nothing can be seen there.
But... a few seconds later, I heard someone running.

"Leodannis?"

Yes, it was definitely there, Leodannis.
It is safe to say that he is the closest of the Duke of Quevel's knights.
The leodannis approaches the Reyes, breathing lightly.

"Well, it's all right to go for a walk, but at least tell someone which way you're heading for."

 Complainingly, Leodanis approaches the Reyes.
Watching Leodanis like that, Ray suddenly turned to the child.
The child, who had been training spears until now, would certainly be more tired than Leodanis, who had just run.
When Ray looks at the child, he doesn't know why he looks at him, and he manages to hold his breath, which tends to get rough.
The child probably didn't want to show any weakness when he was with Ray, but even though he managed to put up with the breathlessness, he couldn't hide the steam that was coming from his body.

(Huh? Was it called steam in this case?)Leodannis opens his mouth to Ray, who suddenly feels such a question.

"Just a minute? There's something I need to let you know if possible."
"...I have a slight bad feeling about it said.

From his past experience... or perhaps from the influence of comics, novels, and animations he read while in Japan, Ray has a slightly unpleasant feeling about what Leodanis said.
But Ray understood best that there was no alternative to not listening to it in this situation.
Well, if you don't listen to anything in this situation, you'll have your worst future ahead.
Ray had a hunch that he would be so convinced.
Leodanis asks Ray, with a faint smile, what he thought of Ray's attitude.

"So? What should I do? I can leave like this."
"... All right. Tell me. If I leave like this, I'm afraid I'll get into a lot of trouble later on.

Leodanis opens his mouth with a content smile to Ray, who says, "I'm going to surrender."

"Well, then. I'll tell you."

Ray was a little irritated by Leodannis, who spoke with subtle importance, but now he thinks listening to Leodannis comes first and urges him to move on.

"And? What is it that you should have told me? From what you're doing, it seems to be quite a big deal. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ."

Ray, who says nothing more, just laughs.
But such an attitude is scary to Leodanis.
If the information really doesn't appeal to Ray, what would you do?
Wasn't it a mistake to let Ray express his dissatisfaction just because he was made to look around?
I think so for a moment, but it's already too late.
No matter what I say now, I can't back down in the present situation.

"The Marquis of Seysore has been making quite a move since last night, and quite a few of them have been out."
"...the Marquis of Seysore?"

 unexpected
That's probably the look on Ray's face now.
But if you think about it, it's not that surprising, but the first thing I felt was that surprise.

"Oh, after last night's party, after the Marquis of Seysor came back to his mansion... though this is not certain, for it is a rumor."
"People hear, you know. But information is information. ... Now I know why you're looking for me."

It is reasonably well known that Ray had a fight with the Geiska of the Marquis of Seysore.
That being the case, Ray couldn't be less interested in the circumstances of the Marquis of Seysore.
But what turned out to be the case?
If you don't know the details of the situation, it doesn't make sense.

"And don't you have any information about that? If possible, I'd like to hear more about it."

Ray asked, staring at Leodannis, but the answer was to shake his head.
There is no information at all under the present circumstances.
The matter is too suspicious at the point where the Marquis Seysore family moved in secret.
They probably didn't want others to know about this behavior because they understood it.
That's how Ray heard it, though.

"Did the movement pick up after Zascar returned to his mansion? If that's the case,"

Some information is organized in Ray's mind.
Zascar himself seemed to want a relationship with himself.
That being the case, it's unlikely that Leodanis will be able to ... move on the scale he says.
And most of all, the most troublesome thing I can think of in this situation is...

"Did the suspended Geiska run away?"

Half-intuitive, Ray draws the right answer.
...but it was just intuition, and Ray didn't know if it was really true.
