1954 Episode 1954

A man who finally realizes the anomalies of the Rays who are catching him says so, but Ray and the guards don't have to deal with it.
Or, if only three of them were dressed in guard uniforms, the man might have recognized them right away... in this case, they have changed into plain clothes just in case.
That's why he doesn't know who's in front of him... and what he's aiming for.

"What are you going to do? Can I leave this to you? If you're going to pull out the information, that's your job."
"Isn't that the better way to do you said.

The guards dare not name Ray and tell him so.
If you show them clearly who is holding them back and who's holding them back, it's going to inform them.
In such cases, you know that the other person's lack of information can be a weapon of anxiety.
Ray also nods softly and opens his mouth, wondering if he has noticed such a guard's intentions.

"I'm not bad at getting information, but if I do it, it's going to be pretty rough. It's like torture."

 Ray's answer was never wrong.
When you get information out of a thief, it's really quick to cut off his finger or limb to show his sincerity and then try to get information out.
...although lately Ray has been called a bandit eater, and he often gives us more information right away without doing so.
Anyway, Ray can't imitate the art of talking.

(A good detective and a bad detective? I think there was something like that, but I'm not the only one who can do it, and a security guard can do it normally, so it's useless knowledge now.)

The man listening to the conversation between the two probably agreed that it was not deceiving, but rather normal.
open one's mouth in a panic

"Wait! As I said before, you're going to touch me as if you're going to fight with the King! Do you really understand that?"
"You say so. You're not really an important figure in the royal family at the time you're forced to bring red cloth here, are you? Are you going to say you're actually from the Duke's family? Well, if you're working in the Duke's family, you might have."
"Slip!"

I guess Ray's words were right.
The man is so speechless that he can't say anything.
Or perhaps... that's what Ray asked, but unfortunately the man was not very much of a duchess... no, it was clear that he wasn't a nobleman even if he didn't get that far.

"Well, anyway. I'm afraid I'll get a lot of information from him for now...!?"

I'll take you to the station and let you spit out the information you know.
Ray tried to say that, but let go of the man who had been holding him in a semi-reflective manner.

"Get back!"

Shout, ignoring the cold sweat on your back.
He must have noticed the intense impatience in Ray's words. The guards retreat from the spot without hesitation and move to Ray's side.
In the middle of this underground space, the men who had been pushed to the ground by Ray until just a few seconds ago, and the men of red cloth, who had no ego, remained.
A man with no ego in red cloth doesn't react particularly to anything.
But the man who had been under arrest until just a few seconds ago was surprised that he had been released... no, confused at first without knowing what had happened, but soon realized that he was free to move, questioned... and when he realized where he was, he looked incredulous... and ran from there.
That's why I tried to get away from where I was... but the action was definitely slow.
It was almost at the same time that Ray took his death-size and twilight spear out of the mystery ring and split the space in the center of the basement.
It's as if you're tearing through a piece of paper, and the next moment you'll see dozens or dozens of pink tentacles popping out of the cracks in the space that are wet with some liquid.

"Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!"

The man runs screaming, but the tentacles go straight after the man, whether the screams or violent movements have caught the tentacles' attention.

"Oh, help me, help me, help me!"

He begged so, but of course he would not have acted as if the tentacles had heard the man's voice and helped him... the tentacles that moved through the air like arrows would touch the man's body with their tips.
The tentacles were not particularly sharp, much less mouth-like... but they worked.
 with a thud
 "Dok-dok-dok-dok-dok-dok-dok-dok-dok."
At the same time, the tentacles bite as if a snake had swallowed something.
At the same time, the man's body rapidly dried up...Within ten seconds, the body falls to the floor in a body of bones and skin.
The body was the same as Ray had seen when he was examining the house.

(Well, I wondered why such a corpse could be produced, but this is how it was produced.)

Three guards were breathing next to him, but Ray's impatience, which he had felt for a few seconds, disappeared and he was able to calmly observe the scene in front of him.
However, Ray knew that pink tentacles weren't really the kind of person to lose his mind because he was able to fully recognize them.
It's probably because I've had a lot of experience that I'm more calm than the guards.
It was clear, however, that the peach tentacles, not one or two, could not easily be helped by the sight of dozens of them coming out of the cracks in the space.
Ray takes a step forward, ready to attack us at any time.
The guards were clearly upset, which meant Ray would show off his presence and calm down before he was confused and behaved strangely.

"Calm down,"

Mumble to the guards as small as possible, not to be heard by the tentacles.
The guards may not be able to hear Ray's words, or they may not have been able to recognize them, but unfortunately there is no sign of any response to Ray's words and they remain speechless.

(It might be a good idea to keep quiet to keep that pink tentacle out of the way... but the question is, can you really keep quiet?)

The corpse of a man, skin and bones, falls on the floor, and the pink tentacles move through the air as if they were still showing themselves to be insufficient.
Looking at the tentacles, I wondered what to do... and the next moment, the tentacles suddenly stopped moving and started moving all at once.
Just as before, it was not the Rey's, but the selfless Red Cloths who cut through the air and headed straight for it was an arrow flying.
Ray was wondering why they were heading for Akahutatsu instead of themselves, but perhaps the answer to this is that Akahutatsu was closer to the cracks in the space.
But as long as the ego is not present, the red cloths don't react to the pink tentacles that fly toward them.
Just look at the tentacles approaching in silence... the next moment, when you touch them, they absorb your internal organs, fluid, and other things, especially by the tip of the tentacles.
Not just one or two, but all the red cloths on the spot silently accept the tentacles... until, like the first man, all the red cloths fall to the ground in bodies of bones and skin.
Ray watches such a scene without any particular emotion.
No, I thought I wanted the tentacles to be satisfied with this and disappear from the cracks in the space, but I understood that it was a sweet idea because the tentacles did not return to the cracks in the space, but the tips were directed at the Reys.

"Run! Go back to the house!"

The tentacles are aimed at them.
When Ray decides so, he screams quickly, and fortunately, the guards start running toward the stairs they came down without hesitation.
These scenes were probably completely unexpected, but since they had served as guards, they were not surprised by the scene in front of them and were not paralyzed.
But... as a tentacle, of course, I don't pretend to let my prey run away.
Leaving Ray alone, who is still nearby and still does not escape, first reaches out his tentacles to the guard who is trying to escape.
It was the same tentacles that tried to catch prey with quick movements.
 Cut it!
At the next moment, the tentacles that stretched straight are cut off by Ray's death-size blade.
But Ray's face, with his tentacles amputated, was somewhat discontented.

(It's hard. Should I say it's hard to cut, not hard?)

It's funny to say that the pink tentacles are just -- but if they were tentacles, they would have been able to cut them apart without resistance.
But Ray's death-size blade resisted the tentacles.
Even though it's death-size through magic,
The tentacles will undoubtedly not be damaged by the dagger wielded by the adventurers around them.
Ray was so sure, but before his eyes the tentacles cut off by death size raged like snakes... and eventually disappeared into dust.
 a distinctly abnormal sight
It was obvious, however, that it was not normal at the time when a tear was formed in the space and the tentacles stretched out from it.

"...it would be easy for me if I had given up honestly."

Ray's disgusting voice was probably due to a new tentacle stretching out of a gap in space and appearing in this world.
And the new tentacles were definitely aimed at the only remaining ray here, not at the guards who had already gone up the stairs.

"First of all, I'm sure the royalists have called out such a nuisance. It's a nuisance...!"All of Ray's tentacles are released at him, regardless of what he says.
No matter how fast the tentacles were, it would have been fine if they were just as straight as ever.
But... the tentacles that flew towards Ray were mixed with tentacles that changed their trajectory in the air, as well as those that went straight.

"Trouble! Flying!"

The tentacles are cut off with a returning blade, or the tentacles are cut off with a twilight spear held in the left hand, while restraining the tentacles by throwing a flying sword at the same time.
Even if it was death-sized, it was impossible to cut it off easily, so even a blow with a spear in twilight was still a strong resistance.
The tentacles, which had been cut off in the middle but still connected to the cracks in the space, attack Ray one after another.
That is why the length of the tentacles is supplemented by the ray's cutting, and the number of tentacles extending through the cracks in the space is even greater.

"Multiple slashes!"

After a death-size slashing, two more slashes are fired as an effect of skill.
Several tentacles are cut off in one attack, and another tentacle near the first tentacle is cut off in the chase.
The blow from the twilight spear still cuts off the tentacles one after another, feeling the opponent's resistance.
However, the number of tentacles coming out of the cracks in the space has not decreased at all.

(What should I do? I'm still physically relaxed... but I don't think I can stay like this forever.)

Thinking in a corner of his head, Ray's death-size and twilight spears cut off his pink tentacles one after another.
Normally, amputated tentacles pile up on the floor, leaving no space to step on.
The reason why we are still working without any problems is because tentacles on the floor are turning into dust.
That's why Ray didn't accidentally step on his tentacles and lose his balance...

"Ray, this way! Come back!"

Suddenly hearing the voice, Ray continued to fight his tentacles, edging toward the stairs he had come down.
