1956 Episode 1956

First of all, the Lays decided to leave the house because they had obtained clues from the bodies they had found in the house, documents and tools found in the hidden shelves, and, above all, the underground space and the pink tentacles that had come out of it.
However, some of the guards thought that even if there was such a large amount of evidence, it would not be definite if they could persuade their bosses to investigate this residence and the surrounding residences as security guards.
Still, Ray insisted that the search should be ended because of the pink tentacles.
What happens if that tentacle, which even Ray has trouble dealing with, somehow gets out of that underground space?
It's nothing but danger, no matter where you look at it.

(The Cobold case is dangerous in many ways, but fortunately the clay walls have reduced the number of people entering the guillem to an extreme extent. If so, obviously that pink tentacles are more dangerous now.)

Ray thinks so, and the guards who actually went underground with Ray agree with him.
After all, whether the tentacles that come out of the cracks in space are dangerous or not depends on whether you've actually seen them or not.
For example, if the guards knew Ray's ability and said he was dangerous... but didn't see it directly, it might be human habit to estimate the threat a few steps lower.

"Anyhow, we need to gather the guards scattered in this house. ... And there's a possibility that there are still some who are guarding it."

The girl Ray had escaped from the basement disappeared somewhere.
It was easy to predict that he had probably escaped from one of the stairs in the basement to another, but he could not, given that things had moved before he had to.
But as long as the girl was not the last remaining man in the estate, there was a good chance that other guards still investigating the estate would be attacked.

"Well, then, let's get out of this house at once, and we'll need to hear some information from the man we caught at the door."
"... Come to think of it, there it is,"

It's not the sort of person you can forget so quickly.
But the pink tentacles still gave Ray such a strong impact that he had completely forgotten.

"Hey, don't forget,"
"I'm sorry. So how do you get people scattered in the house?"
"I'll use this.

That's what the guard pulled out.
When Ray sees the whistle, he recalls that he's used it to communicate before, and he looks convinced.

"In other words, the flute can communicate with a certain degree of course."

Ray recalls the word Morse Signal, but unfortunately Ray knows the word but doesn't know how to actually use it.
But I understood the intent when I decided it was probably a similar way for the guards to communicate.

"Yes. It's a little noisy, so I'll blow it down the hall."

As soon as Ray saw the guard out of the room, he heard a high-pitched whistle.
He would have blown his whistle several times regularly and finished his instructions. The guard opens the door and turns up.

"I've given you instructions, so let's go."

Following the words, the Rays leave the room.
Leaving the room... Ray suddenly asks one of the guards who went to the basement with him.

"Why didn't you use that whistle when you were attacked?"

If we could communicate to a certain extent with the whistle, we could have asked our comrades for reinforcements when we were under attack.
As Ray asks, the security guard who is approached shakes his head.

"That girl had quite a bit of strength. That's why I couldn't afford to blow a whistle even if there were three of course.
"Well, if we had acted in a curiously strange way over there, perhaps... we would have lost our lives without injury."

Another guard working with Ray nods in agreement with his colleagues.
I wonder if that's what it is. Ray walks down the corridor, thinking so.
They must have gathered by the sound of whistles. On their way to the door, a number of guards join them.
Some guards, having gathered by the sound of whistles, ask if they found any clues, and the guards answer.
On the other hand, there was a scene where a guard working with the Rays asked if there was any clue.
Naturally, guards are experts in the field.
Besides the clues they found, it was only natural that they had found some clues.
...though it was undoubtedly true that the clues they had found were of the utmost importance.
In the meantime, we arrive at the front door of the house.
Naturally, there was an elderly man who attacked the house when he first came to it, tied up and a guard guard watching it.

"I heard the whistle, but it seems to have ended all right."

The guards searching the house nods back to the words of the guards waiting at the entrance.

"Oh, I've got a lot of clues. That's probably enough to move it up."

Ray has a little doubt about what the guard said.
According to what I heard earlier, it was said that this incident would be difficult to move up.

(No, after all, is it up to each person to decide? Some people think it's OK, and others don't.)

Though not heard closely from the guards, Ray decides to do so and looks at the elderly man, who is unable to say anything because of his monkey-like behavior.

"So we're going to investigate this house... and the surrounding house. It might not be interesting for you to keep it."
`Ugh!'

He was an elderly man who tried to say something to Ray, but, of course, he couldn't do it in this situation.
Considering the possibility that an elderly man bites his own tongue before he speaks and commits suicide without giving information, it is impossible to do so easily.

"Now, you must get home safely to the station. On the way, you must take back this... and there may be some one who attacks you to take back the clues or whatever you got in the house."

Nevertheless, Ray had no fear of a surprise attack.
This is because Seto acts together outside the house, regardless of whether it's inside the house.
Ray has five senses sharper than any other human being, but Seto has five senses sharper than Ray.
In other words, if you think about it normally, it's a fact that even if this particular mastermind sends in an assassin, there's nothing you can do when Ray and Sett are there's nothing you can't do anything about it.
 The guards probably know that.
Rey nods with relief and leaves the house with a bound elderly man standing up.

"Slurrurling.

Then, perhaps he was by the front door at the right time, Seto burst into Ray's throat happily.
...if you think about it normally, it's nothing short of fear that someone as big as Seto is coming in.
But for Ray, Seto is a truly reassuring partner and, in a way, another.
Therefore, even the guards around him are surprised by Set's sudden rush, but Ray accepts it without any particular concern.

"Well... I don't have to be that lonely, do I? I wasn't that far away. You're a spoiled child."

Ray says so, caressing Seto as he rubs his face on her, but... when you see Ray's face smiling, the words don't sound very convincing.

"But was there anyone who would run away from somewhere while we were in the house?"

There is no doubt that the Ray's mansion is connected to the surrounding mansion in the basement.
But I don't think they'd like to take advantage of a place where such tentacles might appear.
The other way out of the house, then, was to escape by some back door.

(Well, there might be some hidden passageways which I and the guards could not find, and they might have escaped from there to another house.)

In the meantime, Ray's hand continues to caress Seto.

"Grull".

Enjoy Ray's stroking hands with a pleasant throat.
But Ray, who was caressing Seto, eventually stops.
Seto looked round at Ray, asking if he could stroke him any more, but Ray couldn't do anything more to kill time here."I'm sorry, Set. Wait for me to stroke you. After this incident... No, I'll stroke you as much as I can at dinner."
"Gruly!"

Say Rey's words, and let her throat ring with joy.
Leaving the set, Ray turns to the guards... and to the old man in captivity.

"Well, go. You'll have to go to the station first to gather a lot of information, report it to the head, and look at the evidence you've got."

So the Lays had a lot to harvest... and at the same time they had to finish their mysterious search and head to the station.

"Hmm... So Ray was fighting against a strong opponent."

At dinner time, as usual, in Marina's courtyard, Vihela says enviously, hearing from Ray what happened today.
That's probably the reason why Ray was told he had the opportunity to fight a strong enemy at a time when he was not in the mood to fight Cobold or fight.
However, for Ray, he was not such a strong opponent except for his pink tentacles.
Being a strong enemy to the guards, I am at a loss what to say to Vihela.

"You may say so, but you didn't have the strength to make Vihela want to fight, did you?"

Vichela looks at the words she responds to as she caresses Seto, saying she doesn't know what to say.
For Vihela, it was because she wanted to fight even when she was told so.
Still, you're convinced that it's too late to say anything in the current situation, and then you breathe out a little bit before you speak.

"And what are the guards going to do now, the evidence Ray found, the testimony, and so on?"
"Well, I don't know about that yet. Even the upper echelon of guards needs to consider a lot of things."
"I suppose so,"

Marina tells Ray and Vihela the conversation.
As a former guildmaster, he probably anticipates how the current guard will operate because of his relative connections with the guards.
Next to the marina, Elena nodded in agreement.
There is no doubt, however, that we cannot afford to think slowly in this case.
As was the case with Cobold, Ray and his guards were still worried because the pink tentacles he encountered in the basement would certainly pose a major threat.

"But the guards are blocking the premises that we entered today, aren't they?"
"Oh, I hear there are many things about it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Elena and others who heard the story frowned at Ray's words.
