2014 Episode 2014

Seeing the disarmed lizardmen, the Green Asians took no particular action.
For the time being, Ray calls out to the guards, relieved that the situation did not turn out the way Ray feared.

"Why don't you treat the injured Asians? You bring the potions, don't you?"

Portions are one of the must-have items for guards.
It's not uncommon to treat injured people, given that they often deal with criminals and adventurers, so it's only natural to carry a portion.
Furthermore, it was only natural to bring a potion for treatment if a non-verbal subhuman suddenly metastasized this time and was told that there were many injured people.
Encouraged by Ray, the guards immediately begin treatment, thinking that they cannot leave the injured green Asians alone.
Fortunately, the first green Asians to metastasize watched Ray use the potion, so they wouldn't resist if the guards tried to use it on the injured.
Green Asians who had metastasized with Lizardman were surprised at what they were going to do at first, but when their friends who had metastasized first explained, they quietly accepted treatment.
And seeing the wound heal, no one could doubt the effectiveness of the lotion.

(I'm so surprised by the potions, so was there no potion in the world they were in? Well, even in the same fantasy world, not all rules are the same.)

A prominent example of this would be Lizardman, after all the same.
As far as Ray knows at least, the lizard men in this world are not intelligent enough to build a civilization.
By comparison, the spread of lizardmen is clearly some sort of group... and, given that everyone is armed with weapons and protective gear, it is conceivable that they belong to the country.

(I hope it doesn't taste bad. ... Well, I'm sure it tastes bad at this point.)

The lizard, who probably belonged to the country, fought back and stunned the high-ranking lizard just because he was attacked.

(Let's leave it to Mr. Dusker, and... I don't know if it's easy to transfer from the other world to this one.)

Ray was adamant that the green Asians and Lizardmen in front of him were from the rest of the world, not from this world.

"Ray, this is... there's not enough portions."

When I looked at the guards' words, they looked at me with puzzled faces.
Even though he had some spare time, many of the green people who had metastasized with Lizzardman were injured, let alone the green ones who had metastasized with Ray.
For this reason, the only part of the guards who came to cheer for us was clearly not enough.
The least salvation is that none of the green Asians were fatally injured.
That's why the guards don't seem so desperate, asking Ray.

"Oh... What do you do? Do you want me to use the part I have?"
"That's great... but I think we should stop. If Ray uses the potions here, we might have a lot of problems later."

The guard says so and rejects Ray's suggestion.
If any of the green subhuman had been seriously injured, Ray might have provided him with a portion, but he could not have asked Ray for a portion as long as no one had been so injured.

"But now that you say so, you're already using a potion?"
"What? ... well, that was before we came."

Ray looks a little dumbfounded as the guard misleads and tells him so.
It's a fairly high quality...that is, it was a high price, but Ray doesn't regret it because he found that the portion was effective for green Asians.

"Well, when you tie a lizard, what should you do with your tail? If you don't do well, why don't you untie it with your tail?"
"If you say so, I mean, some of the beasts have tails, but they can't be used in that way."
"Why don't you join the beast race and the Lizardman just because you have a tail?"

When Ray hears such a voice, he turns his eyes to it.
There was a sight of a lizard fainted after Ray beat him to death.
I don't know the exact truth because I don't understand the language, but I think I'm the most superior of all the lizard men who have metastasized.
In the eyes of the other lizard men, he was considered the best in terms of strength as well as status.

(If they had been unilaterally attacked by such men, they might not be so high in terms of fighting power.)

Nevertheless, if you see that they have the ability to grow plants, there is no doubt that they have the ability to fight, but they are quite useful.
How many plants in particular can you use that capacity?
For example, can plants that only grow in warm places be grown in guilms?
That area is very concerning to Ray.
Specifically, on the subject of spices.
If green subhuman beings could grow spices in guilms that would otherwise have been hotter, Dusker would certainly protect these green subhuman beings with all his might.
As is the case with surface ships, Dusker is quite enthusiastic about benefiting and developing Gilm.

(Well, I'll talk about this later on... but are the adventurers watching? If that's the case, there's a possibility that it's going to spread, and should I keep quiet about it?)

That's what I'd say if I stopped talking here, but I'm sure I'd get drunk around the bar.
Today's incident was special in many ways.
If you wish to brag about it to a woman in the bar, then you can play about it in a proper way -- like you're the one who knocked down the lizard, or you're the one who used the potion because the green Asiatic was injured.
That's how Ray thinks, but the guards call his name and look at him.

"What's the matter?"
"Well, how do you think we can get those lizard men?"

The guard showed a pack of about thirty lizardmen.
They don't seem to be particularly violent after dumping their weapons on the ground, perhaps terrified by Ray's easy defeat of their lizard.
In addition, the weapons that have been dumped on the ground have already been collected by the guards, and the lizardmen are no longer able to easily.

"I don't care what you tell me to do."If it were a thief, I would rope him up and pull him away in a carriage."
"No, you can't do the same as a thief,"

If you treat such a person like a thief and take him with you, you'll surely be in trouble later.
Being from a different world, there is no zero chance of future contact with Lizardman's country.
Also, if you move a group of other armed lizards that way, they will inevitably stand out.
If this were winter, it might not have been so noticeable yet, but now in spring many people are gathering in Gilm.
The sight of these lizardmen moving in bunches was even in danger of spreading the rumor throughout the kingdom of Milliana.
Ray really wants to avoid such a thing if possible.
That would be essential, especially given Dusker's position.

"No, but... what are you going to do with them?"

a discontented voice from the mouth of a guard
Ray doesn't understand the feeling, either.
But Ray doesn't really agree with the guard's suggestion that the lizard should be kept out of sight as much as possible.
There was such an optimistic prediction that even if adventurers who watched this incident were not aware of the existence of lizard men and green subhuman beings to prove it, it might end in gossip...

"First of all, why don't you bring some empty cabs, and then put the lizard-men into them and carry them to Gillum? . . . . . . . . . . I don't know where to go."
"A carriage... can you get in?"

At Ray's words, one of the guards casts a doubtful glance at the lizards.
The lizardman had a fairly long tail, and it was difficult to see if he could sit like anyone else in a carriage.
In the case of beasts, even those with tails can sit normally.

"Why don't you bring us a carriage that carries our luggage in a wagon, or that doesn't have a seat? The Lizzards surrendered to us."
"No, it's not us, it's Ray's fault."

The guard tells Ray with a look of a little stupidity.
In fact, the words were never wrong, as long as the reason why Lizzardman surrendered was because Lizzardman, who was leading them, was easily overthrown by Ray.

"Really? For the time being, the lizard was fine with that, and the green ones... were treated like guests? Unlike the lizard, they didn't seem to be aggressive here. Or, to be exact, it seems right that the green ones were attacked unilaterally by the lizard."

Ray didn't want to be too strict with the green Asians, let alone the lizardmen who had attacked him.
I can't say, however, that there was no reckoning in the minds of the green Asians about their ability to grow plants.
I'm sure you should definitely tell Dusker about spices. If any spice can be grown in guillem, the treatment of green Asians will definitely improve.
Also, I am grateful that I can get a lot of spices for cooking if I can as Ray.

(There is no doubt that Gilmoo's food will evolve further if various spices are available.)

 That's a great blessing for Gillum-based Ray.
The guard nods, though he may not have realized what Ray thought.

"All right. From what I've seen, those green Asians are quiet. ... I'll ask you, but there's no such thing as Ray threatened them, is there?"
"Well, what do you think I am?"

Ray says discontentedly, but the guard turns to what appears to be the commander of the lizard, who remains silent and unconscious.
It was clear what the guards wanted to say, even if they didn't say anything.
But Ray also opens his mouth to such a guard, saying he has nothing to be ashamed of.

"It's self-defense,"
"... Well, if Ray says so, that's all right. Anyway, you didn't do anything to intimidate them, did you?"
"Oh, I just used a lotion on a guy who was badly injured."
"Well, then, that's all right. If those green Asians are quiet, we can say that they are treated as guests for the time being, though I don't know what will happen depending on how they deal with it."
"You don't have to worry about it. Mr. Dusker wouldn't think stupid things. And there's no fool down there."

Of course, it is not necessarily the case that there are no one who wants to have his own interests, but there is no doubt that there are fewer people of that kind than other nobles.
That said, it's hard to be silly, given the direct instructions of Dusker.
Then Ray's honest feelings were that this incident would not be so problematic.

"I'll leave that up to Ray, so I won't say anything. Well, I think he'll have something to do with the green Asians."

As the green Asians looked at Ray, the guard told him so.
