2020 Episode 2020

It was quite a challenge for the Laurnors to get into a carriage.
There was no horse-drawn carriage in the place where the Llornors lived, and they were reluctant to ride in it.
Ray couldn't understand why he hated it so much, as there was no problem looking at the carriage from outside.
Ray managed to persuade Llornola by gesture, and managed to get him into the carriage, but it was true that it took a lot of time there.
The lizardmen spoke faster than the lorol nolas.
When Ray urged him to get into the carriage, Zozo got into the carriage without particular resistance.
The rest of the lizardmen seemed reluctant to get into the carriage at first, but as soon as Zozo screamed, they followed suit.
...and the weapons which the Lizzards had in their possession were laborious and space-saving, so Ray kept them in the Mistilling.
It was already a familiar behavior for Gillum's people, but for the first time to see it, for the Green Asians and Lizardmen, it's not something that disappears the surprise once or It's seen or twice.
The sight of long swords, shields, spears, and many other weapons disappearing one after another was enough to surprise them.
The surprise, however, had subsided to some extent by riding in a carriage ride.

「●●●●、●●●?」

In the carriage, Lorornola calls out to Ray.
I didn't know what he was saying, but Ray understood that he was still listening.
And when it comes to the window of a carriage, there is no doubt that it is something about the outside.

"Oh, the carriage is moving, and the view outside is moving. The carriage is moving because the horse is pulling. Do you understand... Don't you understand?"

First of all, Ray pointed to the front of the carriage, but he only realized that it was quite inconvenient for him to be unable to communicate.
If it's a simple communication, we can do it without any problems.
But as Ray just said, it's hard to communicate with gestures if you want to give more details.

(As expected, I need you to understand this language as soon as possible. ... I wish there was a magic item or something that could be translated. If so, would it be more familiar than learning?)

Magic items are somewhat inferior to those of the Bestian Empire, but nevertheless the finest alchemists in the kingdom of Milliana are gathering in Gillum in search of rare materials to be found in the frontier.
Ray felt like he could make magic items that could be translated by such people, but now he is busy with the extension work, and there are few people who can afford it.
Also, Ray's honest feelings were that he didn't want to get involved with Ray because many people wanted him to hand it over in search of the giant tail of his eyes that he had fallen in the winter.
At any rate, Llornola, of course, cannot understand Ray's words and inclines her head.
Zozo, who is in a carriage with Ray, glances grumpily at Llornola.
For Zozo, who follows Ray, the current situation in which Llornola is casually talking to Ray is probably not interesting.
But I don't say anything because Ray doesn't look uncomfortable.

(Are those lizard men all right?)

There are now three horse‐drawn carts heading to Gilm.
One was packed with lizardmen and the other was packed with green Asians.
And in the last one were Ray and Lorornola, Zozo, Gulamel and some others who came with us to negotiate.
The carriage is guarded by knights.
The adventurers were probably the ones who got the most out of it.
for the Gulamel and others were supposed to ride only one carriage, and the other two were to be taken home by adventurers.
The adventurers whose carriage had been snatched away by the Green Asians and Lizardmen were rightly now walking to Gillum.
The least salvation would have been that the work was done in the middle of the day, but the pay would have been well paid.
Also, when Ray is not there, he loads and carries several carts in a connected state, so it's definitely easier to move than then.

"Oh, I can see Gilmoo."

Watching the view outside as if following Llornola's gaze, Ray mutters to a familiar view.
The carriage then walks into the guillem, mostly bare.
Normally, the guards would look inside the carriage, if only slightly, but it was Gulamel's presence that they didn't have it.
Nor was the presence of a guard in the carriage so disquieting that he knew it had to do with the Trent forest.
The carriage inside the guillem leads to the lord's house.
Originally, it would have been better to go somewhere else instead of the lord's residence, but all the Lorornola's had a mild disposition, and all the lizard men followed Ray, and the rest followed Zozo.
Judging from these facts that there was no danger, he went directly to the lord's residence.
The reason why the upper layers of Gillum, including Dusker, know about the Zozo is that one of the knights returned to Gillum to explain the situation while Ray was on his way to Gillum in search of Vihela.
However, if we had not known the Zozo, we would have done this if we had found out about the abilities of the Lorornola -- growing plants to replace food.
The trees in Trent's forest are now being cut down one after another as materials for the guillem extension.
Of course, it has already been thoroughly investigated and confirmed that there are enough trees to carry out the extension work, but the trees in the forest of Trent have many other uses besides building materials.
It could be marketed somewhere as material for surface ships and possibly as wood.
 Nevertheless, forests are finite.
Moreover, the forest of Trent is not an ordinary forest, but a lot of specialities in its construction.
That being the case, the trees in the Trent forest cannot be the same as the trees in the other woods.
All of a sudden... all of a sudden, they spread into the forest of Trent, capable of growing plants.
On top of that, it was impossible to expect a conciliatory personality.
Then the cab stopped, and the Lays got out of the cab...

"What!"

Ray is breathtaking at the sight spreading out before him.
Going down was the square where the knights were training in battle.
I expected Dusker to be there.
But if there were dozens of other knights, it would be obvious that they had prepared the Lays... or Zozo to intimidate them.

(Well, it's not that I don't understand how you feel... but isn't this a little too much?)

Llornola and Zozo, who were still at odds with each other because they could not understand each other's language, were more accurate when Ray saw them being attacked unilaterally.
In fact, no one was injured on the Lizardman's side.
At any rate, it's undoubtedly the quickest way to keep both sides from going wild.

(I can understand that in my head, and it might mean something else, but... I don't know that.)

Given that he is a dasker who has managed Gillum so beautifully, it is hard for Ray to believe that he would do this just to intimidate his opponent.
That being the case, there must be some reason for this... but before Ray says anything, Dusker, who comes forward protected by the knight, opens his mouth.

"I'd like to say, "Welcome to my town... but I'm sorry I can't communicate with you."

At Dusker's words, Llornola and other green Asians look a little uneasy.
The Lizardmen may have a feeling for the armed knights around them, but Zozo's calmness does not upset them.
Dusker looks a little mystified at the two groups.
It soon turned into a smile.

(Perhaps Mr. Dusker expected the Zozo to react like the Llornoras. ... In that sense, Mr. Dusker's attempt seems to have failed.)

Ray makes that decision first, looking at Dusker's appearance.
There may still be other reasons to welcome Ray in this situation, but Ray doesn't know about it, so I'll leave it for now.

"This time, there are many people, so we ended up meeting at a place like this, but I would like to ask for your permission.
「●●●?」

At Dusker's words, Lorornola nods curiously.
 I don't know what you're talking about.
 such a state of affairs

"How did you communicate with them, Gulamel?"

Dusker must have known in advance that he could not communicate.
But maybe... I talked to him with that in mind, but it didn't make sense as expected.
That's why I spoke to Guramel, who brought the Llorornola.
In answer to the question, Gulamel takes a step forward and bows before speaking.

"The way to communicate is to communicate with gestures as long as they don't understand each other, but I think it would take them that long to learn this language, at least they learned Ray and my name very quickly."

Saying so, Gulamel turns to the person at the forefront of the green Asians and opens his mouth.

"He is Mr. Llorornola, and I don't know exactly what it is, but as far as I can see, he leads these green Asians, and..."The next thing Guramel looked at was Lizzardman's Zozo.

"Mr. Zozo, as you can see, he's better than any other lizard, and in fact he's leading other lizard men."

 Dusker's gaze turns on me.
For Dusker, however, the only welcome presence was Lloronola, who had the ability to grow plants, and the Zozoan Lizardman was completely unexpected.
No, I even think they're a nuisance when I hear that they've been attacking the Llornors.
And yet they welcomed him like the Llornors because the knight who brought the information told them that Zozo was following Ray completely.
And in fact, when I saw Zozo like this, I could fully understand that the word was true.
Zozo is still standing by Ray's side.
There's no doubt that it's something that Dasker should be pleased with.

"Guramel, I heard that some of you are injured. How about you?"
"Yes, I've recovered from my wounds with as much lotion as possible. ... But I've treated them in order of severity, so some of them don't have enough."

Saying so, some of the green Asians to whom Gulamel's gaze was turned were beaten or slashed by lizardmen.
It was all minor injuries, but still not very pleasant for the viewer.

"Cure it,"

Following Dusker's orders, when the knight comes forward, he uses it against the wounded green Asians.
It was probably because of the use of potions in the forest of Trent. The green Asians also show no reluctance to the knights trying to use them.
Dusker was watching this, but suddenly turned to Ray and asked him to come near him.
Patting Sett, who was moving with the carriage, Ray moves to Dusker's side as he watches the potions being used.
Zozo tries to move with him, but he lightly puts his hand out to show him to be there.

"What?"
"... you really tame those lizard men. No, more so. I heard that the green Asians were wounded by the attack of the lizard men?"
"Yes,"
"So why don't you have a negative feeling about Lizardman?"

Nevertheless, Ray had no choice but to tilt his head.
That's because Ray was the one who wanted to know the situation most.
