10-010: The beginning of another world (below)

Come on!
Are you okay? Mr. Serara?
Of course.
Serara was desperately following Nyanta, who was running at the front. A little behind her, a young man named Shiroe comes to her rescue.

He's an acquaintance of Nyanta-san. ...He seems a bit awkward, but he's a smart guy.
It's a good idea, Serara thinks, because of the sharp look in Shiroe's eyes.

She has been trying to soften the impression of her trichromatic eyes by wearing round glasses, but Naotsugu says it gives her a "gut feeling".
Unfortunately, Serara's impressions also proved that Naotsugu was right.

It's likely that Brigantia has been watching you, just as Shiroe had expected. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I think it's a good idea.

I'm sure that's what Serara thinks. If that's the case, it's only a matter of time before they find us. The structure of the city of Susukino is simple, most of the streets have a grid-like structure that intersects at right angles. No matter how many people escape to the back streets, if there are too many of them, they will be caught somewhere.

Nyanta and Shiroe chose to break through after understanding that as well.
It was a gamble they would need to make somewhere if they were to return to the city of Akiva.

Shiroe was probably in contact with Naotsugu and Akatsuki, whose presence hadn't been exposed, via the telephonic function. As it is, I hurriedly, but without haste, walked towards the west main street.
As expected, I was right, and the members of the Brigantia seemed to be hanging out at the gate as well.
There was almost no chance of Serara escaping the gate without being found.

The town of Susukino is a no-fighting zone, you know. I don't know what those guys are thinking...
You're going to overlook one.

Shiroe said that he would miss one, but that was only one time. The real offensive will probably come after they get out of the combat-free zone. The Brigantia has a plan to do just that, and I'm sure that even Shiroe and Nyanta are aware of that, Serara thinks.

"I see.

Perhaps it was because she was concerned about Serara, but Nyanta didn't particularly question Shiroe's lack of verbal feedback either.
But the serenity was something else entirely. I don't know what it was, but Serara was shaken to her core.

I'm not sure what to do. I.
Serara's voice quivered. Once, Demiquas had grabbed her wrist. Just remembering that grotesquely muscled arm and the sickening way he laughed made her feel her heart fade.

''Well ... yes.''
Shiroe's eyes seemed to be looking into the distance. The expression slipped out of his profile without a sound. The situation makes Shiroe look even more guilty and makes Serara a little scared.

''Since you're letting us escape, let's get out of here. It would be expedient if we could get out of the city.''
...What?
At Shiroe's words, Serara rolls her eyes.

Once they leave the city, it is not a no-fighting zone.
If you are captured, a battle is probably inevitable. With the number of people in Brigantia, there's plenty of room to put guards on all the main roads in and out of the city.

If that were to happen, Nyanta, Shiroe and myself would easily be killed.
That was Serara's expectation. No matter how skilled Nyanta and Shiroe were, and no matter how high level the reinforcements that said they came with Shiroe were, together they were only five people. And that was including myself, who hadn't even reached the 30th level.
If they can set up a penalty kick, Serara thinks that they won't be in a very resistible shape.
That's the way it's supposed to be. The numbers are too different.

'Whether we get away with it or not, we need to create an opening.
If we are pursued from close range, we will be chased everywhere after we leave the streets of Susquino. I'm sure they know that Serara-san has a collaborator with her. Otherwise, there's no way that they would be able to replenish the food supply. I'm sure that they also know that the number of collaborators is small.
Based on the above, Brigantia's strategy is to engage in siege PK combat at some distance from the no-fly zone. The priority target is the cooperators. On top of that, we're going to discourage Celara's will and make her do what we say.
I believe this course of action is almost complete.

The words of Shiloh were analytical in every way, and to Serara it seemed like someone else's business.

'We're going to be beaten! That's so much.

Well, well. Hey, Serara. You mustn't let your mind wander. If it's Shiroechi, then it's true. And because Shiroechi is here, I'll be fine.

Nyanta says somewhat lazily, regardless of Serara's nervousness and fear. Shiroe has heard information about the Brigantia's members and strength from Nyanta. From Serara's point of view, the situation is quite trapped. Serara couldn't understand how the two of them could afford it.

''Squad Leader.''
Is it a cat?
That leader would have been a one-to-one guy.
That's a silly question.
Nyanta nods dully at Shiroe's question. Serara is taken aback by that nyantha. She had heard that he was a veteran player, but fighting PKs was not the same as fighting monsters. It had been that way since Elder Tail was an internet game.

Unlike monsters, who are controlled by instinct to perform a few offensive moves, the player never knows what they'll do. The tension of the battle is not several times greater, and any skillful player will make mistakes - at least, that's what Serara has heard from Henrietta and others.

Celara had never seen a player with such skill that she could nod so easily in that penalty shootout.

''Then let's go with that for the plan. First, the three of us will leave the zone.
Brigantia will set up a penalty shootout at some distance where we can't run into the city. Once we defeat the enemy boss, we'll take advantage of the gap and escape.

This is such a joke!
 Serara paled.
That's not even a strategy, it's almost a haphazard one. In a sense, it seems like a suicide mission. I'm not going to be able to say a word about it, but I'm not going to be able to say a word about it.

I'm sure you're right. It's the same as always, Shiroechi.
And, unbelievably, the kyanta made such a gesture. When Serara turns around in surprise, the kitten responds with a look into her right eye.

It's been a long time since I've devoured a lot of food, so I'm sure Serara-san is watching you closely. I won't let anything happen to you, Serara-san.
Serara looked at her and vowed to endure whatever fears Nyanta had in mind if she was willing to fight for her.

 ◆

 And now.
Things were going just as Shiroe and the others had expected.

They passed through the gate while enduring the lowly gaze of the Brigantia. As Serara and the other three passed through, nearly ten Brigantia followed them as if they were distantly following them.
They must be far enough away from the city to attack. I'm sure that even Serara, who has lived a life free of murderous intent, can feel the swell of harm and malice, as evidenced by the trembling of her shoulders.

(It's absurd to ask her to trust me.)
Shiroe, who is also aware of Serara's concerns ahead of time, thinks so. Certainly, Serara's prediction was correct to some extent. Brigantia's forces are large.
It's understandable that it's hard to believe in our victory.

With each step I take, the tension around me increases.
The gate to the city of Susukino is moving away behind us, and the circle of Brigantia is slowly narrowing.

''I guess this is as good a place as any.
Shiroe muttered and raised his voice loudly.

"Who is this Demiquas-san from Brigantia?

The players around him buzzed at his words. They didn't expect him to make the challenge that obvious.

''Well, well, well. Shiroechi. It's rude to ask things so loudly. I know that big guy over there. --"Hey, Demikus!

The strong man who came out as if drawn by Nyanta's voice was Demiquas, the leader of Brigantia.

His muscular body was covered with light armor, mostly leather. He wore a fighting weapon in both hands that resembled the claws of a tiger. The man should have been made from the same polygon model originally, so this man should have been handsome enough, but his lowly expression shows his inner life.

'So the two of you were the ones who were flying around Serara?

It's just me. And I'm not alone, I'm alone.
Nyanta points out in his own pace.
Despite the content of the dialogue, his voice is mature, calm, and beautiful, and it's easy to get discouraged by it.

But the words that followed were harsh.

It is the capacity of an adult to tolerate the fever of youth, but there is a limit to what they are capable of.

What are you talking about, half-breed?
I'm going to tell you. Listen carefully. --Demikus. You're overreacting. I'm sure they're going to attack you anyway, so I'll save you the trouble. It's the duty of an adult to break that young man's tall nose, and I'll lend you my chest and you'll come at me one-on-one.

Very provocative for a squad leader. What he did was nothing short of criminal. That's understandable, isn't it?
Shiroe checked the surrounding enemy forces in the menu in her mind while thinking that.

''Ha! What the hell are you talking about? Why do we have to go along with your ways? I've got ten guys on my crew.

Sorry to interrupt. I'm sorry to interrupt you, Mr. Demikus. You don't have to be. Rather, it's just that ... the gray robe. That's a secret class item in the Cave of the Fire Lizard, right? You're stronger than I am. We'd both be more convincing if we fought you instead of the martial artist. Nyanta, let's go have a fight with that wizard.

You know I'm a rondag of gray steel?

That's true. I'll make it clearer in black and white.
While Serara is astonished by this completely different development from what they had discussed, Shiroe changes her target to a sorcerer-type man at Demikus' side. Even Nyanta says something along those lines, causing a bewildered murmur to spread among the Brigantia members.

Some looked at the sorcerer Rondag, others looked at Demikus, and so on, the subtle differences in temperature were clearly visible to Shiroe and the others.

(It's not a monolithic organization, after all. It's not a monolithic guild, after all. That Rondag guy is the No. 2 and the wisdom of Demikus.
It looks like we'll get to see how well he controls the guild members. (Demikus)

Shiroe feels her feelings quiet and shimmering at the bottom.

It is true that Shiroe is not good at associating with others. It's fair to say that he doesn't like being followed around by noisy idiots. But that doesn't mean it's "not possible".
I'm a pacifist and I don't want to fight players.
But it doesn't mean I can't do it.

 Rather, it's the opposite.
Under the circumstances, Shiroe will be aware of this.
A feeling spreads in Shiroe's mind like a black sea at night. It's a destructive impulse based on irritation.
People who want to avoid combat should avoid it. If you love peace, you shouldn't harm others.
But if you harm others from yourself.
--But if you harm others, then they are the ones who "can't help but get beaten up".

 They'll eat you up,
Nyanta said. His usual serene sunny smile crumbled, and the fangs of the cat people were visible in his smiling mouth.
Even Shiroe has those same fangs in his heart.

The unconscious mind of Shiroe is convinced that anyone who hurts someone with a sword should be prepared to lose it too. There will be no mercy.

"The Rondag of Ash Steel, right? You have two names. That makes more sense to us than the Demiquas of that world. And this is Agent Nyanta. We're here to fight the Thief. Let's play "Let's play".
I have no intention of running away.

I'll get on with it. With your equipment, you'd be a great magician. Black and white in battle, isn't that what you guys do? I'm afraid of my rapier, and I'll leave the demikus who insists on attacking at once.

The final push came in the form of a single word of disparagement from Nyanta to Demikus. Demikus recoiled at the words, and with a look of anger, tension and mockery on his face, he stepped in front of Nyanta.

'Fine, I'll do it. I'm going to hand over a joke like you with my fist!
While appearing to agree to a one-on-one, Demikus' forceful fist strikes Nyanta by surprise. Nyanta avoids the fist while staring at the tip of his nose and jumps back several meters as it is, and holds the two rapiers that were inserted in his waistband.

"Wow. That's a hell of a punch!
'It didn't hit me, so it's no big deal. For that matter, shouldn't we ask for backup?
As two or three fierce punches were delivered, Shiroe let out more wildfire. Demikus seemed to become even angrier, "If you crush this cat father, I'll treat you too! I barked.

"Well, well, well. I'll deal with him first. I don't want you to see any gruesome scenes in front of the lady. If you want me to go easy on you, could you let me know right away?
f*ck you!

Demikus strikes, seemingly ignoring the distance between him and Nyanta, who leaps away lightly.
Two or three destructive left hooks are unleashed from the form as if it were a cannonball thrower. Some of those attacks are deflected with rapiers, but some hit Nyanta's body and make a dull sound.

To begin with, in terms of HP, Demikus has 30 percent more than Nyanta.
And its attacks are heavy, and even if you avoid more than half of them, the thrusts and kicks that go through Nyanta's defenses inevitably take away HP.

''Sora-sora!''
Demiquas approaches with a smile on his face.

Demikus' occupation is the Martial Artist (Monk), one of the three warrior-type jobs.
It is one of the three warrior types, and is in this sense in the same lineage as the Guardian and Samurai. Warriors specialize in drawing the enemy to the front lines and focus on defense.
The warrior class specializes in drawing the enemy to the front lines of battle and emphasizes defense.
Compared to the longer reuse restrictions on major specialties of the Samurai, the Martial Artist has shorter reuse restrictions on major, easy-to-use specialties. Examples include Lightning Straight and Wyvern Kick. By focusing on these basic skills, the Martial Artist is able to perform a large number of moves, making it an expert at uninterrupted waves of attacks.
They are the thinnest of the three in terms of armor, but their light weight allows them to evade attacks the best. Also, just as the Guardian Knight has a defensive skill that uses his shield, the Martial Artist has a number of defensive skills that allow him to evade attacks. These include the Phantom Step, which allows the Warrior to avoid enemy attacks by leaving an alter ego behind, and the Sunrise Stance, which protects against fire and ice attacks.
The martial artist's defense is not supported by his equipment, but by his physical abilities and skills. Even without the need for expensive and rare equipment, the Warrior has top-notch fighting ability, and is regarded by many as the most well-balanced of the warrior class.

What do you think? You're defending the war!
Nyanta manages to neutralize Demiquas' attack and takes two steps away from him.

However, Demiquas closes the distance of a few meters with a flying kick that wears a dark green aura. Nyanta avoids that kick as well, but Demiquas is unconcerned and connects with a series of left and right strikes.

Demikwas's kicking technique is the Wyvern Kick.
He is using the kick as a placeholder to close the distance in the first place. He dismisses the Wyvern Kick as a restraining and close-in movement technique, and is always in close proximity to the kyanta, hitting him with a series of fast left and right strikes, so that the kyanta can't keep his distance.

(Rather well.
 Shiroe is secretly impressed.

Relief spread to the members of Brigantia, who a moment ago had an unstable atmosphere that suggested contradictions within the guild. This may be the reaction of the wild thieves who expected their leader to achieve complete victory as it is.

However, Nyanta dodged a large swinging hook and lightly kneed the defenseless Demiquas in the side at close range, then switched positions in the air using that feathery blow as a foothold.

''Nyan. Nyan!''
A rapier strike that cuts through the air cuts through Demikus's thigh armor, leaving a wound that looks like an ice pick struck into it.
Nyanta creates a new defensive stance at hand, and then coldly observes Demikus, letting the tip of his sword play in the air like a swallow.

Nyanta's occupation is a "swashbuckler" (swashbuckler).
It is one of the few jobs that use two swords, a type of melee attack. His main function is to use his two-handed weapons to deliver an unstoppable series of attacks and to use his rotation to attack a wide area. This is a position that emphasizes physical attack power, and while the power of a single attack is far inferior to that of the Assassin, the Thief is a speedy fighter that uses the number of moves he can make to deal total damage.
A swordsman can be a thief, but depending on the weapon he chooses and what special skills he focuses on, he can show a wide range of variations even within the same category.
The "Twin Rapier" style of Nyanta is the "Twin Dagger" style, which boasts the same attack speed as the "Twin Dagger" style of holding a knife in both hands, making him a true speed king.
Furthermore, the Thief's swordsmanship was characterized by a variety of additional effects. The Thief's overly precise attacks, such as slowing down attack speed, slowing down evasion, and slowing down defense, robbed his targets of their strengths and exposed their weaknesses as more lethal weaknesses.

Your hairy thighs are showing. "You can see my hairy thighs!
Demikus's face turns reddish-black at Kyanta's teasing words. However, Nyanta doesn't miss the opportunity. It's not as if he's attacking with a weapon, it sounds too light, like a typewriter, and his rapier precisely drills into Demikus's extremities.

The four wounds that remain on the arm are 〈Viper Strash〉. An attack that reduces the hit rate of the enemy's attack for a few tens of seconds by hurting the Ken on the arm.
The three remaining wounds on the thighs are the Bloody Piercing. An attack that slashes at the legs, robbing them of their agility and reducing the opponent's evasive capabilities.

With the observation skills of a surgeon and the determination to carry out his plan, Nyantas try to tear off his opponent's fighting ability. There is no sign of the calm advisor known as "Goginjyo".

'Kuh! You, flutter. We'll shoot each other fair and square.
Your words are going to get stained if you tell me to be fair.
In terms of HP, Demikus has the upper hand. Nyanta's HP is only about 30% of the total. As a warrior, Demiquas still has more than twice as much HP as Nyanta.

However, the one who now holds the initiative in the fight is, by all accounts, a thin and skinny swordsman.

Precise rapier movements, stabbing, bouncing, or dazzling.
The air is laced with silver and sparks, and a streak of steel, thinner than a fingertip, provides an ironclad defense against Demikus.

Demiquas no longer has the speed and offensive capabilities it had at the start of the battle.
I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I'm not the only one.

The Brigantia, which had been quiet a moment ago, suddenly began to buzz. There was a look of fear and anxiety, as well as unconcealed curiosity and anticipation on their faces as they feared their leader would be defeated.
Perhaps Demikus had acted too exclusively within the organization. I'm sure you'll be able to find it in the Brigantia, too, as a result of the bad feelings of onlookers when Demikus is defeated in the public eye.

You'll be able to see this and signal to Serara.
Serara watches the kitten's struggles with a prayerful expression, so desperate that she doesn't even notice her fingernails digging into her palm, but a touch of Shiroe's fingers on her shoulder snaps her back to consciousness.
The ethereal voice in his ears, inaudible or not, was "When I give the signal, give the whole thing a pulsation recovery spell.

Of course, recovering a victorious nyantha is a natural part of the recovery profession, but why is it that if you give the signal? And why not to the kitten, but to the whole thing? Selara's eyes open wide as she asks herself that.

'd*mn! It's so boring. There's no way I'm going to play this game. Healer! Restore my limb, assassin squad! Kill this cat bastard!
Demiquas, who could no longer withstand the brilliance of the swordsman's skills in front of him, called for a simultaneous attack on Brigantia and the others.

 ◆

Their angry voice created a momentary pause in the battlefield.
The Brigantia have done everything from slave trading and blackmailing non-player characters to penalty kicks and even worse, but that's why their orders are met with a momentary hesitation.
The Brigantia are a group of outlaws.
But although they are called outlaws, you can't form a group with true lawlessness. Complete anarchy would nullify the very existence of the community. Lawless people have their own order, and that order, in the extreme, is force. And that order, in the extreme, is force, violence.

The Brigantia, a group of outlaws, was ruled by force. In a one-on-one duel, its leader, Demikus, had his vaunted offensive power shut down, his evasive power cut down, and he was chopped up for good by rapiers and other representatives of the "women's and children's weapons" that he usually makes fun of.
And in response to the reality of being chopped up, they have ordered siege and annihilation with a shout that seems to be a call for help from all angles.

"Are you sure you want to follow this leader's orders? If we follow these leaders, will we eventually become losers ourselves?" -- such a thought made even the brigantia, the outlaws, hesitate.

This made me hesitate. Anxious. If only they would freeze in doubt. Lucky for us.)

 But the hesitation was fleeting.
It's true that the leader's appearance is haphazard, but even violent outlaw groups have a signboard. No, it's precisely because they are an outlaw group that signboards are important. The reason Brigantia is able to do whatever they want in the streets of Susukino, even as they exploit other players, is largely due to the effect of Brigantia's reputation as a group of spineless outlaws.
If they don't maintain their fear by any means possible, they will find themselves on the side of the hunt.

It took about three seconds for the fear we usually feel because we are the hunters to make a decision to shut the mouths of the three witnesses, rather than to help the leader, Demiquas.
Once that decision was made, the outlaws would let out a mouthful of heroic screams and begin to swallow Nyanta like an avalanche.

However, none of those three seconds were wasted by Shiroe and the others.
Naotsugu appeared as a gale in front of the eight angry Brigantia, who were rushing to him. The sudden entry of the Brigantia from out of sight didn't kill their momentum, it made them rush in with even more malice.

Anchor Howl!
Naotsugu's cry. The eight Brigantias are stopped in front of Naotsugu as if he had been shot.

Nyanta-san! That one!
Begin recovery.
Yes, sir! Heartbeat Healing!
When Shiroe scolded, Serara begins to chant the largest recovery spell she possesses.

Pulsating Recovery is a unique recovery technique possessed by the Druid, the Forest Curse Master.
It is a special recovery spell granted to the forest spellcaster, and corresponds to the damage blocking ability of the Divine Guardian (Kanagi) and the reactive activation recovery ability of the Priestess (Cleric).

A pulsating recovery spell is simply a spell that provides sustained HP recovery. It's also a set-up spell, and your companions to whom this recovery is activated receive a certain amount of HP recovery spell every second for 10 to 30 seconds. While the amount of recovery each time is not as great as a normal recovery spell, the total amount of recovery is far greater, and it's an excellent spell with good MP efficiency.

Furthermore, more than being a highly efficient recovery spell, this 'pulsating recovery' has one major advantage. It's that once it's set up, the sorcerer's hand is free. The sorcerer can use that free time to take other actions, such as attacking or defending.

 But--
I can't! I'm not going to be able to stand it! I'm not strong enough!
Serara lets out a wistful sound.

In the Elder Tail, the abilities of the recovery practitioner are great.
A combination of trained healers and vanguard warriors can support the damage they can take from four hostile attackers of the same level.
However, Serara's level is currently 19, and although her 90-level defense is outstanding, it was impossible for her to support the attacks of eight Brigantia, who are also fairly high-level physical attackers.

"Ignore our warriors (vanguard), and for now, Nyanta's recovery. Calmly monitor your allies' HP. Don't look at what you can't do, look at what you can do!
Shiroe calls out calmly to Serara, who is about to panic.
The words are unexpectedly strong, and Serara feels her strength return as if she's been patted on the back. What the recovery profession can do is recover.
If you don't save the lives you can save by ranting and raving, you don't know how much Marielle will hurt you.

At that time, on the other front line away from Naotsugu, the battle between Nyanta and Demikus was reaching its climax. They must have received a recovery spell from the rear guard. The wounds on Demiquas's arms had healed and he had regained his attack power.

Although the wound on his leg is still there, he is probably about to abandon his evasion any longer. Demikus' expression had regained a great deal of composure.

It's a good thing that you're able to get the most out of this. I'm sure you'll be able to see that the same basic physical strength is different from that of the weapon attacker - the swashbuckler - even though it's the same direct combat position. As long as you can receive support from the rear guard, you can use your physical strength to push through a boggy fight. That was Demiquas' intention.
The little girl's "forest spellcaster" seems to be recovering the swordsman in front of her from the rear, but the total amount of damage she can do will not exceed the damage she can inflict.
Convinced of this, Demiquas is furious.

''Sora! There you go! It's a good thing that you have that toy-like sword. A soft bastard like you can't protect your friends!
How rude. A bayonet is a gentleman's weapon.
You won't get to hear this nonsense! Look, your fellow warriors are about to sink!
How about that?
Even as they exchanged swords and fists, silver light and striking sounds with each other, the battle between Nyanta and Demiquas went on to become even more intense.

With a fierce cloud of dirt, Naotsugu was indeed being driven back.
He had 2,400 HP left after receiving a series of attacks from eight people, and he had lost 80% of his HP. However, even in this situation, Naotsugu remained calm and handled the Brigantia's attacks without losing his half-hearted stance, and guided their ranks.
Even in a situation where you might panic, you don't lose your composure. It was an indispensable ability as an excellent vanguard, but Naotsugu's unusually smooth movements were accompanied by a tremendous spirit that was visible to the inexperienced Serara.

''Spell preparation.''
Shiloe's whisper. Listening to her own heart beat in her ears, as noisy as a horse running, Selaraha replies with a wince, "Hahii.

''I'd better get going. Shiroe! Castle of Stone!
With a shout, Naotsugu draws his shield and takes an immovable stance. Naotsugu's shield, armor, and even his sword have a marble sheen that reminds us of the history of time, spreading magic and energy.

It's a good idea to be able to have a good time. It's a good idea to be able to have a look at it. I'm not going to be able to get it done! Eat it! Assassinate!
The assassins must have been among the eight Brigantia. The assassin's sword was pointed at Naotsugu with a deadly move that produced massive damage. The sword was supposed to be sucked into Naotsugu's armor with a sound like scorching the air and deliver a fatal wound.
However, the assassin's desperate attack is rebounded by Naotsugu's shield with a hard resonance.

 Castle of Stone.
One of the guardian warriors' most powerful defensive moves, the Castle of Stone is an emergency defensive move that renders it impervious to all damage from all attacks for as little as ten seconds. The marble citadel of Naotsugu has become an unbreakable shield to support the front line.

I told you. It's not that easy for Naotsugu to fall down~
Not yet, Serara. Multiple recoveries in direct succession!
Serara takes a selfless step forward as if she were played and holds her hands out to the heavens.

The chant is the 'pulsation recovery spell' for individuals. To the already chanted 'Pulsation Recovery Spell' for the entire party, you add another 'Pulsation Recovery Spell'.

 Still, Serara doesn't stop.
After layering the two installation spells, she begins chanting yet another immediate recovery spell, using her limited 19th level range of ability to the limit to keep sending 'all the recovery spells she knows' to the front lines.

There is only one thing I can do as a recovery worker.
Protect the front line that protects you with your own recovery spells.
The nostalgic voice of the Guildmaster, the "Treatment Priest", is echoing in Serara's ears.

The true merit of the Pulsation Recovery Spell.
The true merit of the "pulsating recovery spell" is that, as an installation type, it allows you to use the remaining time available and chant multiple recovery spells. The potential of the Forest Spellcaster, which is all about recovery, is higher than you can imagine. In terms of instantaneous recovery, it surpasses the other two professions.
And even if it was level 19, it was an ability that could not be underestimated. Naotsugu's HP, which had less than 20% left, is healing in no time at all while receiving Serara's rapid-fire recovery spells.

''You're wasting your time!
On the other hand, the demiquette of closing in on Nyanta makes him even angrier.
It is true that the Castle of Stone is a powerful defensive skill. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I'm not the only one. However, even the most powerful moves have their weaknesses.
In the case of the Castle of Stones, that's because of the length of time you're allowed to reuse it. That Unbreakable Depth Technique can only be used once every ten minutes or so.
If you have 10 minutes, you can kill the cats in front of you 10 times and still make change. Besides, the fact that he used the Castle of Stones showed that the warrior was not strong enough to withstand their attack.

A technique that blocks physical damage for 10 minutes, or 10 seconds out of 600 seconds. In other words, the Castle of Stones is not an invincible secret, but rather a last-ditch effort.

The end of the Castle of Stone is when it expires, and that is the end of these guys. In Demikus's mind, this is now a definite future.

Demikus' fierce attacks were driving Nyantas into a corner as well. Serara checked the status of her party, but she couldn't suppress her frustration at her low ability.
That guardian warrior in the front line, who was taking on eight Brigantia, and Nyanta, who had always been so kind to her, were also hurting.
Even if you do your best to recover them, you can't save them, and even the MP to support the recovery spell is dwindling as you approach the limits of your abilities.

''Is it time for you to go, Siloe-chan?
You can do it any time you want, Nyanta.
But far higher than Serara's grief, Shiroe and Nyanta exchange words with a cheerfulness like a blue sky.

With a movement as smooth as a willow swaying in the wind, Nyanta enters Demikus's bosom. Demikwas is startled for a moment, but he kicks up his knee as if to spring the slender man in front of him.

But the next moment, Nyanta leaps into the air, using the kicked-up knee as a foothold.
 A glittering silver glow.
The two rapiers held in Nyanta's left and right hands split the wind and dance with the speed of purple light. Three, four, five - that's as far as Serara could follow, and Nyanta's sword, which seems to have split into countless numbers, accurately pierces the lapis lazuli thorns that have been set up on Demikus' body before long.

The fastest attack of all 12 professions, the Thieving Swordsman's two-pronged, multistage attack is enhanced by Shiroe's enhanced attack ability, and it also triggers the trap spell Thornbaid Hostage, which is installed.

 Nyanta's slash.
 Shiroe's Thornbaid Hostage.
The two attacks as a single set are repeated 10 times in less than 2 seconds. Each time Nyanta unleashes a slash, the spell he activates sends out an explosion of light and shockwaves.
As if the explosions in the extremely confined space of the magazine were compressing and increasing its destructive power, the stick-standing Demiquas staggered as if he had been thrust in all directions by the invisible man and died before he could utter a word.

''Nah!'' Gilmouth.
 The unrest spread quickly.
The 90th level warrior, who was supposed to be in good hands as a healer, was gone in an instant. The sight drove more doubt and despair in those who had played Elder Tail before.

''Nyanta-san........''
Serara's dumbfounded muttering also shows it. I can't keep up with the understanding of the momentary offense and defense that occurred in front of me.

--who are the men in front of me?
--where did you get the offensive power that buried Demiquas?
--You don't think their level is over 90?
-- and isn't that really a purge squad from another district?

It was this gap that Shiroe had predicted, and was planning to exploit. After seeing something unbelievable, Naotsugu released a loud voice into the rigidity of Brigantia.

''Draw your swords, boys!
A shout from Naotsugu. The members of Brigantia listen to each other's expressions at the sound of their voices, and this time they pale at the screams that echo from behind them.

There was a fallen fellow healer and the guild's No. 2, a gray-robed rondag with one arm chopped off and cowering.
The dark-haired girl, who used the three seconds of blank space most efficiently, wrapped her flowery, dainty figure with a hint of a ruthless murderous weapon, and pressed her small sword against Rondag's neck.

''When did you......... Oh no.........''
Their leader, Demiquas, used to unite the guild with his ferocious fighting abilities. And then there was Rondag, who supported the Brigantia with his wits, even though he and Demikus did not see eye to eye on each other.
The loss of these two leaders had left most of their forces intact, but the thieves' mental capacity to resist had been shattered.

'We have come beyond the Deep Place of the Palms,'
Shiroe steps forward and speaks to the earth-crawling Rondag.

The city of Akiba is no longer so far from here that it is impossible to travel to and from the city. "The distance between Akiba and this city is no longer insurmountable," he says, "and we have the map and the way to get there. --All this fuss is over.
The reality is not that optimistic.
You'll be able to see that you're not the only one.
The fact is that getting to the Ezzo Empire is still a long and difficult journey.

However, Shiroe dared to use a definitive tone of voice in order to instill a sense of defeat. Akatsuki, who thrusts his katana against the Rondag's neck, emphasizes Shiroe's words with the touch of a cold blade.

'This place is our victory.
Shiroe quickly pulls out a dagger from his pocket and slices the rondag's head open. This is the dismantling of the animal counterpart that I have done many times since I came to this other world.
The sensation is exactly the same as that, but considering that the other party is also a human being, the resistance of the muscles and airways against the blade seemed to be a terribly unpleasant sensation.

(......I've PK'd it. (Me too.)
But Shiroe decides that this is the price they have to pay, and that it is their own karma in another world.

(And besides..... There's no way I can stay clean, letting Akatsuki, Naotsugu and Team Leader Nyanta get their hands dirty. There's no way I can stay.

The members of the Brigantia fell back in response to Shiroe's cold attitude and shooting stare.

The icy silence was broken by the sharp cry of the Gryphon, the Eagle Lion. The three gryphons emerged from the western sky and swooped down at Shiroe and the others in arrowhead-like formation, rather roughly.

''Serara-san. They're coming!
Before he knew it, Nyanta delivered his rapier and held out his hand, and after a moment's hesitation, he jumped onto the griffon, holding her like a side hug.

Akatsuki, who was looking at it with a serious expression, held out his hand to Shiroe, who had straddled her own griffon.
'Let's go, Akatsuki!

Let's go! Let's go, let's get out of here!
Naotsugu's gryphon jumps up while shouting a line that sounds like a cavalry charge declaration. Following that, Nyanta's sand-colored gryphon kicks the earth. Shiroe stays until the end, gazing at , but sighs as if she's given up, and calls out to Akatsuki behind her.

''Let's go.''
Feeling Akatsuki nodding in a small way at his back, he signaled the gryphon with the heel of his boot.

And so, with the stunned Brigantia watching, the three giant flying creatures flew off to the southwest, leaving behind their majestic and fierce wings.
