37-037 Sunday in Akiba Town

After God made the world with a six-day miracle, he made one day off afterwards. In other words, after working, it was a holiday. So, Shiroe and others think that it would be better for human beings to follow the same way.

There should be a holiday after work.
 Otherwise, we will be broken.
But nowadays, Shiroe is too busy.

Of course, the members of Log Horizons are not mean. Much of the work comes from the Round Table. And those jobs aren't the result of insidious power harassment. Shiroe thinks. Perhaps, perhaps.

In fact, if anything, the blame lies on Shiroe's side.

Both at the Roundtable and in his own guild, Shiroe is considered to be the "wise-cracking tactical strategist type," and he thinks so, too. However, Shiroe himself is deeply aware of this, but he is not blessed with geniuses and does not occupy such a position. On the contrary, Shiroe believes that his own abilities are mediocre.

Shiroe's self-assessment of himself is that he is a typical preparatory type. He feels that his ability is to gather enough information beforehand, think about it, and then write the scenario with improvisation in mind.

In general, this type of scenario writing is not unusual.
To put it bluntly, all people who read a strategy book before playing a game fall into this category. Shiroe's is not bored with reading existing strategy books, but reads 'all' existing strategy books. Furthermore, it's only unique in that it goes so far as to write its own personal strategy book. It's true that such mania is rare, but in the sense of "preparedness and thoroughness", it's not a special method.

Considering Shiroe's role in the game, this is a beautiful thing. If he were to be a military strategist, he might be a bit paranoid and cautious, which is a good thing, but it's not a drawback.

However, that is also a drawback of simply being a 'worker', which is too much work to be taken care of.

There were too many objects for Shiroe to study in this other world. The more information he has on the future, the better, and that information is indeed extensive; even the information on the Elder Tail world, which has lasted for twenty years, is enormous, but on top of that, the amount of information on the entire other world has been added to it. Moreover, this is not a static world, but a world of mutual influence that is changing its aspect every moment.

Of course, Shiroe is always trying to prioritize the information he needs to find out what's going on. He doesn't have the acquaintances and financial backing to free himself, but he does have access to the official information flow of the Roundtable, and he has a fixed budget. Compared to the aftermath of the disaster, you could say that we are much more efficient at obtaining information.
But even so, the number of things I want to know and need to know is enormous, and my feelings of anxiety will never clear up.

It's not that I'm just collecting random information about this world out of curiosity. I'm sure you'll find a lot of people who are interested in this kind of thing.

There are many situations in which information is the lifeline to that end. The accumulation of information is also essential for autonomy. The Round Table needs information about this world, just as a ship needs a chart to navigate the seas, and the Round Table needs information about this world. Without a clear understanding of the situation, there is no way to make an accurate decision.

This is why gathering and analyzing information is Shiroe's official duty.

However, when you're the 11 guild masters of Akiba's Roundtable, daily communication and miscellaneous duties alone take up a good deal of your time. Reading reports alone can be quite a chore.
Major guilds such as the D.D.D. and the Maritime Organization probably have the personnel to assist the guild masters. The guild's most astute members are in a back-up system.
In a sense, it's the equivalent of having a team of private secretaries to support the administrative skills of guild masters such as Michitaka and Krusty. It's reassuring to have someone nearby who can say, "Oh, look over this, let me know what you think," even if they aren't really a secretary.

However, with the addition of two members, Log Horizon now has eight members, and there is no such thing as an extra member. Shiroe is the best at paperwork, and Minori is the runner-up. However, Minori is currently in training, and she can't afford to let her help Shiroe with her paperwork, as there is a gap between her level and that of Touya, Rundelhaus, and Isuzu, so she can't let her help so much.

As a result, Shiroe is overwhelmed by a mountain of reports and miscellaneous paperwork.

"Ugh, I can't do this, you know!

Shiroe laments as she looks at the pile of letters in front of her. Of course, that's his nature and the aspect he wanted to do is strong, but that doesn't mean he won't be discouraged, especially if he doesn't go outside for long periods of time, and his mood is depressed.

 I look out the window.
Until a few days ago, the "window" was just a square hole in the wall, but now it has a window frame made of thin planks, covered with a canvas covering.

It's afternoon, but it's raining outside.
Autumn rain is pounding the earth of Akiba's streets. The rain, like a thin silver thread, is making a silent sound as it hits the leaves of the old trees that grow here and there in Akiba's streets, or soaks the concrete.
Even when Elder Tail was a game, the weather engine created "weather" in the outdoor zone. They were beautiful compared to a hundred other games, but compared to the streets of Akiba today, they are just games. The weather in this world today seems to surpass that of the Earth in every sense of the word.

The same rain, for example, a summer shower, a thunderstorm with lightning and a popping sound, a light rain like autumn fog, all different and all beautiful.

To Shiroe, who lived on a planet with an advanced public transportation system and a wide range of delivery companies, and who only noticed the seasonal rituals on the NHK news, the "weather" of this world seemed like a complete drama in its own right.

Opening the canvas thinly, the city's atmosphere appears to smoke with endless white lines. It's an uninterrupted autumn rain. It's not quite cold yet in October, but after this, autumn will slowly begin to set in. Here and there in the city, people are braving the rain, and we see adventurers busily cleaning up their buildings, taking advantage of the opportunity.

Two months had passed since the Zantorieff peninsula was swept.
It was already October. The cleanup of the Zantorieff Peninsula was taking quite a bit of time. No, the cleanup phase had already passed and they had entered the step of building a new relationship with the Alliance of Free Cities Eastar. The report delivered to Shiroe's office also confirms this. If we have come this far, the rest of the relationship is probably under the jurisdiction of the commercial guilds, rather than Shiroe's.
It's a good thing that you're able to have a good time.

--It's a good idea to be able to have a good time.

It's a good thing that you're able to have a good time. Until now, he had his hands full with just Akiba's city, so he deliberately ignored it, but that's not going to happen anymore.
I followed the trailers, listened to the stories, put them together, and took steps to gather information, and the situation had moved significantly. No, I should say that we were moving too fast.

(Well, it's not that I didn't see this coming. It's just that I didn't expect this to happen of all places. I can't believe it.

Shiroe threw herself into the wisteria chair and looked up at the ceiling.
Memories of maps, figures and reports flashed through her mind.

The half-size Japanese archipelago recreated in the Half-Gaia Project...Yamato, as we call it here, has five player towns. Shiroe and her friends live in Akiba, Shibuya, Minami, Susukino and Nakas. These five cities, also known as the five major cities, are home to Elder Tail players in Japan.

When Elder Tail was an MMO game, these cities were connected by instantaneous transportation devices called inter-city portals, which made the distance between them less tangible. Therefore, traveling between cities takes a reasonable amount of time, and in this world where monsters roam, there is also a risk of movement. It is safe to say that interaction between the cities has been drastically reduced.

Five months have passed since the catastrophe.
The city of Akiba, where Shiroe and his friends live, has changed dramatically. Its appearance is still the same, but the way of life and the relationships between the people has changed drastically. No longer would anyone be able to say that this was a game, including the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal and the Daichijin. Things had moved that far.

Those five months should have gone equally over anyone in this world. So just as this city (Akiba) has changed, change is inevitable everywhere else. Shiroe thinks so.
However, Shiroe's intentions have influenced the changes in Akiba's city. It was the influence that caused it to change at this rate. If that is the case, is someone else's will also influencing the changes in other cities? Shiroe could feel a heaviness in the pit of his stomach when he thought about that will.

The one that had changed the least would be Sibuya.
Sibuya had a special position among the five player towns to begin with.

Simply put, Sibuya was the last city to be created for the purpose of dispersing players concentrated in the city of Akiba. The city of Sibuya, which was more than aware of the "gates" inter-city movement system as a dispersal plan, is now almost paralyzed in its urban functioning as the gates are dead.
As a result, almost all of the adventurers who used Sibuya as their home base have joined up with the city of Akiba. The town of Sibuya is now a suburb of Akiba, used freely by a small number of adventurers.

The changes in Susukino were, in a sense, exactly as Shiroe had predicted. In the immediate aftermath of the catastrophe, Susukino did not finally stand up to the deteriorating security situation. Rather, it had become a lawless city, fed by the deteriorating security situation. Almost all of the adventurers in the city of Susukino who wanted to leave had made their escape in the past few months.
If they weren't running away as fast as Serara, even a group of mid-level adventurers could manage to hide and escape. Of course, it is true that the expedition team organized by the Roundtable was there to help.

However, Susukino, which was thought to be on the verge of becoming a player town, still has more than 200 adventurers. They are not left behind. They chose the environment of the city of Susukino of their own volition. On the contrary, there were a small number of adventurers who moved to Susukino from the cities of Akiba and Minami, too, of their own accord.

In the different world of the Elder Tail, which has become a reality, it seems that there is a need for "lawlessness". The city of Susukino is dominated by adventurers who control a large number of "earthlings".

Shiroe didn't feel any evil there. It's not that she didn't feel evil, it would be a lie to say that she didn't feel it, but it wasn't great. It's just that Shiroe was afraid.

There were two main reasons why Shiroe cried out for the human rights of the Earthlings at the Round Table.

The first was a clear survival strategy. There are ten times as many Earthmen as Adventurers in this world. The Earthmen make the foundation of most consumer items. You'll need to find a way to kill and control the Humans.

Akatsuki replied without being picky and began to lay out his clothes on the couch in a crisp manner. When Shiroe nodded her head at the clothes she didn't recognize, Akatsuki turned around.

'A delivery. ''From the Roundtable.''
From the meeting?
The letter that was handed to me was indeed from the "Round Table" and, if you read it, it seems that the sewing production guild offered a prototype.

Akatsuki left Shiroe alone and began pouring black rose tea into a glass. I'm sure you'll be able to find something from the magic bag that you can use for today's snack. In Yamato, where wheat is widely distributed, bread is a relatively common food item. Of course, we have rice, but bread is superior to rice in terms of its shelf life after baking. In recent years, advances in cooking research have led to a variety of new breads appearing on the market. New ideas are expensive, but after a while, as mass production progresses, they become cheaper. As long as people's habits remain the same, such phenomena are common in this world.
The price of these unadorned buns has become much cheaper, but they are still too expensive to be a snack. Akatsuki, holding the anpan in her left hand, offers Shiroe the rest of it, along with a small plate, in her direction.

'Are you sure?'
It's on the house. I want you to eat.
Akatsuki replied in a few words. I'm not sure what to think of it.

It's a very good idea to be able to have a good idea of what you're looking for, but it's not a good idea to have a good idea of what you're looking for, because it's a lot of paperwork for the Round Table, and that's why I haven't been able to go out into the field lately. The reality is that Akatsuki, who goes out into the field to train Minori, Touya and the others, is earning more money than I am. So it's not that he's worried about Akatsuki's pocketbook for the anpan, but Shiroe is a guild master, and as a man of his age to say anything, it's ticklish and uncomfortable to let a little girl (what she looks like) buy him a drink.

I feel a sense of miserly pride in myself, but it's a matter of feeling, so I can't help but feel that resistance. However, it's also not cool to be strangely vain. Shiroe thanked him and accepted the anpanpan.
Akatsuki saw that and ate her share of the bread. They sat side by side on a low sofa and enjoyed the sweetness of the anko bread as they threw their legs out.

'My lord, what's the letter?'
Oh. Offering samples and, you know. From tomorrow.
Yeah.
 Akatsuki nodded in agreement.

October. The air is cool and the season gets colder with each rain, but the heat in Akiba's streets has not yet subsided. Rather, with the normalization of relations with the Free City Alliance Eastal and the increase in commercial exchanges, many production guilds are experiencing an unprecedented boom in business.
Food, cooking, housekeeping, clothing, machines, medicines, organic materials, and all sorts of other items are being imported and exported at a tremendous rate. To put it in a current context, Akiba is a city of processing and exporting. Of course, adventurers can gather primary products such as foodstuffs and ores, but it is easier to get them from the Daichijinshi, because they can get them in bulk.

The Daichians, especially the nobles and merchants, are eager to acquire the high quality items produced by the Adventurers, and they are always looking for ways to get their hands on these secrets.
When the producers' guilds become more active, the battle guilds will also experience a ripple effect. In particular, after the 'Fairy Ring Unraveling Project' that began last month, a large number of quests were requested, and the number of parties heading outward was visibly increasing.

In the midst of this situation, the topic of the Autumn Festival was brought up as if it had just fallen out of the sky. Even back in the days of the Elder Tail, there were many unofficial events held by users that were not planned by the official side. These events ranged from small gatherings of a few people at a banquet to huge events involving the city and the servers, but of course, this was the first time since the Catastrophe that such an event had been held.

After the catastrophe, the Adventurers were driven to this other world by a series of incidents and survivalists, and they had no time to relax. However, Shiroe understands that this kind of event was requested now that five months have already passed and they have established a reasonably stable foundation for their lives.

However, Shiroe himself has been so busy with paperwork that he's not that familiar with the matter of the Autumn Festival. There's a gluttony contest and a fashion show, that's all I heard.

''My lord, well....
?
What about the festival?
"Huh?
You can't help but feel annoyed when you hear that.
I'm sure the Round Table is also a supporter. I think there was some sort of greeting or participation in the ceremony. I'm sure that as one of the eleven guild masters, Shiroe is likely to be assigned to a position or two.

''I have a feeling we'll be greeted at some point.
Yeah. Well that's not what I'm talking about.
?

Mr. Shiroe!
It was Minori who jumped in there. Minori was holding a brown paper package in both hands as if it were important, but when she noticed Akatsuki at the doorway, she stepped on the tatara and stopped.
The stammering Minori is wearing the sky-blue blouse and denim skirt that she likes to wear these days. The girl, who is often dressed like this on the street, hesitates a few times before opening her mouth to answer Shiroe's questioning gaze.

''Shiroe-san. Um, it's the fall festival tomorrow. Would you like to come out with me?
Answer?
Would you like to eat?
The flyer Minori held out to me read "Cake Buffet" in bright colors. The top two teams out of the 20 pairs will compete in the main tournament - the time limit is 45 minutes. Shiroe doesn't understand the reason. When he turned around to ask for an explanation, Akatsuki, with a strangely serious expression on his face, was holding a leaflet that also read "Cake Buffet" in front of his chest.

''Shiroe-san. You don't hate sweets, do you?
Yeah, I don't hate it.
I can tell from the way he eats the sweet buns.
I'm relatively fond of it if it's moderately sweet.

"My lord. Let's get out of here. This one's free for both genders.
Mr. Shiroe. Would you like to answer it? It's free. No charge.
According to the flyer, the only requirement is to be accompanied by a person of the opposite s*x - that is, a couple, and if they eat at least eight in total, they will be free. And apparently the top two teams will advance to the main competition.

(Four....)

It's only a cake. That's about as good as you can get. But the enthusiasm of the two of them is inexplicable. It's not just my imagination, but both Akatsuki and Minori seem to be aware of each other, so Shiroe is concerned about that point. But why do I hesitate to ask them face to face?

(Ah. Come to think of it, it's always been...)

Yes, that's how it's always been. If you think about it, it was the same for the Tea Party of the Prodigal. I'm not going to be able to say that I'm not going to be able to do anything about it. When Shiroe thought that far, she sighed deeply. It's not a good idea to disobey, if all women are like that (and the likelihood of that is very high).

''What do you think...? Mr. Shiroe.
My lord, my lord!

As for Shiroe, she had no choice but to raise the white flag to the two girls who were crowding her as if they were begging her.

 ◆

Sinking into the couch in her comfy flannel pajamas, Reinesia is carrying a rice ball to her mouth. The food, commonly known as onigiri, is a relatively common take-out snack sold on the streets of Akiba.

(Wow. This is soothing...)

It's been a long time since she's been on vacation.
Even though she was truly immersed in the sweetness of it all, Reinesia's supple feminine body shook with a shudder as she remembered the hard work she'd been doing these days. Letting out a heavy sigh, Reinesia let her shoulders drop. Yes, I was tricked. By Krusty.

He was sorry he had been so naive as to fall for the offer of three meals and a nap.

It's only a matter of time before you figure it out.
The Adventurers hold the key to the current state of affairs in our world. The lords of the Alliance of Free Cities of Eastar, coordinated by Reynecia's grandfather, know this, and have tried to use them for military and political advantage. One of the reasons why he had dared the Council of Lords to dare them in the first place was because he was angry at the convenience of it.

At that time, I was desperate to protect my hometown, but I didn't want to impose my disrespectful and convenient wishes on the Adventurers.
In a way, I was rewarded for my desperation. Thanks to the goodwill of Krusty and the rest of the Roundtable, as well as the chivalrous spirit of the Adventurers, both the capital of Rynesia's hometown of Maihama and the Free Cities Alliance Eastar were saved.

But once the goblin attack was over, things would return to the way they were before. No, if anything, the adventurer's demonstration of its abilities to the lords made the situation even clearer.
The Adventurers showed not only their fighting ability, but also their technological and economic power and unity to the Alliance of Free Cities. Of course, now that they had demonstrated their military prowess, there would be no more lords who wanted to take over the city of Akiba, but the number of lords who wanted to somehow win friendships and drink sweet soup in collusion with the Adventurers was bound to explode.

No, in fact, Raynesia had seen enough examples of that in the past month to make her sick. Reinesia was posted to Akiba at the behest of her grandfather, a position somewhere between house arrest and warrior training, but at the same time, she was also the first "negotiator assigned to the city of Akiba, in charge of the Free Cities Alliance Eastal".

There are many times when the Round Table requests me to participate in ceremonies and other events, and as a noblewoman, I am sometimes invited to balls and other gatherings. Thanks to the ladylike upbringing that has been inculcated in me since I was born, I don't have any problem with these gatherings (but of course they are still a hassle), but the problem is other things.

For example, I'm asked by the head of a family whose main occupation is commerce, or, as the Adventurers call it, a production guild, for advice on business matters. Conversely, a wealthy merchant or nobleman from the Alliance of Free Cities Eastar asks him to introduce them to some of the most influential people in the city of Akiba.
If you don't carefully examine the contents of these requests before introducing them or offering advice, you may lose their trust and bring about a great deal of trouble.

Of course, if you refuse all requests, you will never fail, but there are certain "requests" that you cannot refuse, even if you consider the social circles of the aristocracy. Even though she is the daughter of the duke's family, the most powerful family in northeastern Yamato, she is not the head of the family, but a mere granddaughter. There are selfishnesses that can be tolerated and those that cannot.

On the other hand, the Adventurer, on the other hand, did not say or do anything conspiratorial to the point of being disgusting to her. To them, the fact that she was a direct descendant of one of Yamato's only two dukes was an object of interest and civility, but they did not seem to think of her as an authority to which they had to bend the knee, or as an interest to be exploited.
They had come to her as an Earthling to inquire about her views and connections as an Earthling, and they had no intention of using her.

The reason for this, she felt, was that as adventurers, we are strong, and even if we were noblemen, Raynesia was still considered to be an earthling.

I'm sure you'll be able to find out what's going on.
It's a good thing to be recognized as a human being and not as an aristocrat, but the joy of being recognized as a human being is inextricably linked to this frustration.
 It's just the earth.
If we introduced the Adventurers and Production Guilds to the nobles and merchants without such uncomfortable advice, we would have a big problem on our hands.

The question of the Adventurers, on the other hand, left Leinecia in a state of gloom. The Adventurers are a very practical people, often seeking practical knowledge. Each and every one of them is well educated and intelligent. Talking with them, one realizes that they know nothing about their country or their lives.
 I'm not a military man, I'm not a civilian, I'm not a man....
For a variety of reasons, Reinesia had been kept out of the duke's ostensible governmental affairs, and she had taken it for granted. But when I talked to the Adventurers, I found that they didn't know what the townspeople and farmers ate, what kind of houses they lived in, what made them happy and what made them sad, let alone about politics.

Serious attempts to respond to the wishes of the nobles and adventurers would require a great deal of knowledge and research, and would result in a series of such hard work that the term "three meals and a nap" was nowhere to be found.

The workload is truly endless. There really is no end to it.

Worst of all was the fact that there was no "upper limit" to this kind of learning. Even if I came up with some great idea, advice or combination, no one could guarantee that it would be the "best".
With a little more thought, or a little more research, you might have a better idea. Or maybe with a little more careful planning, we could prevent the worst of the trouble. These doubts were in the back of my mind at all times, and even though Reinesia herself admitted that she had a lazy personality, she didn't let herself cut corners.

When I got really tired and turned over papers until I was truly exhausted, and then collapsed with a fever, Elissa lectured me, as expected. But, well, I don't know what happened to that sermon, but it should be a good thing that I got three days of rest like this.

It's great. Onigiri, oihii........

Reinesia takes a bite of the rice ball with a lazy motion. This is her favorite, the one with codfish in it. Some of the vegetables are salted and pickled, but she concludes that she has to give the seafood rice balls a high rating.

Eating rice balls with small fish and soybean soup is a calming meal. Of course, post-revolutionary meals have been unmatched in terms of taste. Nowadays, I can't even remember the gray eating habits that prevailed before the revolution.
However, there is a sense of happiness in these simple meals, which is hard to describe. It was much better than the ostentatious courses at a dinner party.

I am happy. I'm so happy. I wish I didn't have to wear a dress anymore. I want to stay in my pajamas all the time. Just rice balls, cucumbers, and miso soup. I'd like to....
Drinking hot soup. Eat a rice ball. Have a cucumber for garnish. This is the best I've ever had. What other luxury is there to have a meal in such a debauched style, especially in my room, which is like a nest egg in autumn? I can assure you that it's not possible, Raynesia.

"Elissa. Elissa. Can I have some tea, please?
Sitting hunched over on the couch, Reinesia squirms in her mouth and demands a cup of tea from her maid of honor.

Her lush beauty, known as the "Winter Rose of Ystal," is still intact, with a slightly sleepy, sleepy look, and the stretchy, sleek style that everyone envies is wrapped in thick pajamas that give her a somewhat childlike look.
It's an "outrageous outfit and attitude," as the nagging maid would say, but after all, it's a three-day break. This is a great opportunity, Reinesia is determined not to miss it.

It's a good idea to have a good time with them.
This is all because of Krusty, the brain-eater's fault. It's because of that slender, lying knight that he tricked me into doing this.

You take the tea on the table and sip it, feeling the hot steam on your cheeks, and you really feel it. Every joint in my body seems to slowly and sweetly go numb. I feel a sense of contentment that is unique to the feeling I get right after a good night's sleep.
The amount of sleep he'd been getting lately had been decreasing. All I can say is that it was a terrible abuse.

It's all right. It's the fault of that teasing youkai. I never thought I'd be so busy. .........We need to remind them of their true power relations for once.
It was at this point that Reinesia, who was sipping her tea and exhaling, was approached by a voice that should not have been there.

'I understand enough to know that you're welcome to teach me.
Krusty, sitting on the sofa to Reinesia's right, gives Reinesia a stone-faced look and says a few words in return.
The tunic for walking around the city is dyed in several shades of withered leaves with different gradations. Combined with his black-trimmed jacket, Krusty's autumnal attire made him look as cozy as if he had just gotten ready.
This ruthless knight, who could be called a giant of a man, did indeed have an upper height, but because of his long limbs and well-proportioned flesh, he didn't give the impression of being that "huge" as long as he wore normal clothes in the city. Rather, her profile is slender enough to make her look like a scholar or researcher. In addition, he is always dressed neatly and cleanly, and there are no gaps in his appearance. There are no gaps at all. Even if you look for them, they are nowhere to be found.

It's a good idea to have a good time with your friends.
I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work.

''Ah. Ah. Ah.''
'You can scream and flail, but I think you'd better put this down.
Krusty said quietly and accepted the ceramic cup from Reinesia's trembling hands. Her calm demeanor caused Reinesia's brain to boil over and she was unable to think properly.

''Nah, nah!''
The meeting will not come together. Why are we here? Who did you ask for forgiveness from? What's the deal with stepping into a lady's bedroom (which is also her office, so it's subtle)? Such annoying choking questions come to mind, but at this point, they are put on the back burner.

Reinesia crawls away and pulls the blanket off the canopy bed just behind the couch. As a noblewoman, she has several private rooms in her maihama, of course. In aristocratic culture, a bedroom does not double as a living room. However, this was the newly built official residence she was sent to, and there weren't too many rooms. Longing for a reclusive life, she had selfishly packed a room with a canopy bed, a sofa set, a writing desk for conducting official business and a closet for changing clothes (with the intention, of course, of skipping work so she could laze around).

This time it was a blessing.
I ran away from the couch to find a bed and a new blanket that she has made her favorite. Her chosen tactic was to pull it over her head and fortify her defenses first.

'Hey, what the hell?'
It's almost ten o'clock on the hour.
How?
Elissa let me through as normal, though.
Why?
I heard you were resting, so I came to harass you.

 Raynesia exclaimed.
She called it harassment. This nice-looking specter called it harassment, of all things!

Uh.....
You're harassing me?
Forgive me, my lady. I didn't hear anyone around me, so I didn't mean to mislead you. The Princess Reinesia has been busy with her work, and I just wanted to visit her in the camp. I just wanted to give her a pep talk, so to speak.
Krusty treats such words in a calm voice while bringing the same tea that was offered to Reinesia to her mouth. They are words that are laced with lies from everywhere, as if they are not to be trusted.

As for Raynesia, she is in a canopy bed with a blanket over her head, ready to fight back. This is a posture based on the badger's attack stance... or rather, its habit of defending its nest, and is an expression of its absolute unyielding will. -- at least as an expression of Reinesia's spirit.
If Krusty says anything more or comes any closer, he will cover himself further with the bedding and shut out the outside world. If you're not sure what to do, you can always go to bed at night.
It was a holiday for me. On top of this, you must avoid being forced to work and getting into trouble at all costs.

But Krusty's intrusive (and seemingly easy) task was not going to come to him anytime soon, contrary to Reinesia's expectations. Krusty would only drink his tea quietly.

Time slows down in the room.
His favorite blanket, purchased from the Adventurer, is much lighter and smoother to the touch than the one he'd used in Maihama, and it's faithful, wrapped around Reinesia in the lightly rainy autumn room.

(What are you thinking? This youkai....)

While I was thinking like this, time was slowly passing. The air, which seems to have melted into a yawn, comes with a slumber. The rainy backdrop that seems to block out the sounds of the city and the monotonous ticking of the clocks are like a vicious spell that lulls you to sleep.

As for Raynesia, it's part of the plan to spend the day coasting. That's what I want, but Krusty is the only problem.

Peeking through the blanket toward the sofa, Krusty seemed to be sitting on the sofa table, looking out the window at the rain-soaked city in autumn.

A beautiful profile. The current Krusty is not as deadly as a goblin fighter.

(Come to think of it, he's a youkai, so he knows everything.)
