The preparations for their departure went without a hitch.
Much of the Adventurer's wealth is in his room, in the guildhall, in the bank's safe deposit box, or in his own luggage. It is common knowledge that the veteran adventurer of this world carries a few weight-reducing bags, or magic bags. It is not uncommon for them to carry all the supplies and equipment they need for their adventures.
The Silversword is a raiding guild that specializes in large scale combat. When it comes to its elite members, everyday life is just a battle. If William's orders were given, they were fully prepared by nightfall.
This world of the Catastrophe seems to have experienced twelve times as much time as the Elder Tail did when it was a game. Furthermore, without the use of the Circle of Fairies at our disposal, the time needed to travel long distances has become incredibly necessary. From the perspective of Susukino, we would have to cross the Leiport Strait to reach the Palms' Deep End. Shiroe, Naotsugu and Li-Gun jumped across the straits in the Eagle Lion, but with a total of twenty-four people, that was not going to be possible.

As part of the raiding guilds that participated in the battle for supremacy on the Yamato server, the Silversword also had many members who had flying mounts, but not all of them. It seemed to be possible to get them together if they were forced to, but William easily decided to go on land. Shiroe also followed suit.
The Silversword is William's guild, and he is the right person to lead it.
Both Shiroe and Naotsugu understand the logic behind this, so they easily joined William's command. It was rather Demikus and Tora who were complaining about what was going on. Demiquas, whose pride was getting in the way, couldn't help but complain, and Tetra said to Naotsugu, "I want to be a flying idol.
I want to be a flying idol," he would say, annoying Naotsugu.
Spring has come to Naotsugu in many ways.

There is only one route to take on land. They had to go through an underground tunnel in the Leiport Channel. This underground tunnel is a dungeon, just like the Elder Tail, but it posed no threat to a squad of 24 full raiders who had reached the center level of ninety-three. To begin with, with forty levels, this was a dungeon that could be passed through by a single person (solo).
The raiding team led by William was advancing through the dungeon, which passes under the straits.

The basic unit of mass combat in the Elder Tail is a party, or six men. The twenty-four full raiders are also based on this party. It is made up of four units of six men, and at this time each party is called by the first four names.
There is no right answer to the organization of a large scale battle. However, generally speaking, the first party is often formed with excellent defense, and the second party is often formed with an emphasis on balance in order to act as a ranger. The third and fourth parties are assembled with an emphasis on firepower in order to make the attack their main mission.
This unit formation is the first difficulty in large-scale combat.
The basic idea behind the combination is the main job of the members. For example, the first party's warrior, or first defender, must always be able to take on the strongest monster attack alone throughout the entirety of a large scale battle. This requires the highest defense and high level of HP, as well as the ability to enlist the enmity of the monster with the strongest taunt ability. No other main occupation meets these requirements with the Guardian. The Samurai is also a candidate, but the Guardian is more stable, considering the availability of a shield.
However, this is just a generalization.
This is not the case if the participating Warrior is of a higher level than the Guardian Warrior, or if the quality of the equipment is superior to that of the Guardian Warrior. Even more important than equipment and level is the character of the Adventurer, who will be the first line of defense. At the heart of a large-scale battle, the defender is the one who has to take on the enemy's attacks for the long haul, a position that places a heavy burden on the player. Skill is a must, of course, but this role also requires mental strength and a strong bond with one's fellow adventurers. Even among the Guardians, there are Adventurers, who tend to focus on the attack, and don't like to lead or defend their comrades. These adventurers are more suited to commanding and serving in the third and fourth attack zones than to being the first defender.
In other words, organizing a large combat unit is a difficult puzzle that requires consideration of not only the professions and levels of the players, but also the personalities of all the participants to find the best combination. The weaknesses and behaviors of the monsters you are fighting against vary, and when you consider the countermeasures, the answers to these questions vary widely, making it a difficult problem that has plagued commanders for twenty years.

Shiroe guesses that's why William chose to go on land, and that's probably why he chose to go on land. In other words, it's to understand the personalities and quirks of the new members and use them as a reference for the organization of the show.
(But this isn't helpful at all, is it?)
Shiroe has been instructed to organize the second party.
The members of the party are Shiroe, the Grantor, and Naotsugu, the Guardian.
 The guardian warrior's direct successor.
Tetra of the Healing Priest (Cleric).
Rugius of the Forest Curse Master.
 Federico of the Swashbuckler.
 Demiquas of the Warlord.

Lugius and Federico are old-timers of the Silversword, and they greeted Shiroe much more amiably than I had expected.
The problem is, of course, Demiquas, who, whenever a battle begins, jumps out before anyone else in the party and knocks down the monsters as if to clear his or her throat. The average level of the monsters is 30 to 40, and the average level of a level 93 Demiquas is 90 to 40. It is only natural that a level 93 Demiquas can tear them apart like shoji paper. However, that doesn't allow you to see their personalities and coordination.
Shiroe had called out to admonish him several times, but Demikus' threateningly short response made it impossible to have a conversation.
'There's no point in getting impatient,'
Lugius, with a friendly expression on his face, calls out to me.

'I hope it's over by the end of the year or so.
In a way, that idea was natural for Lugius.
In the first place, large-scale combat was not a challenge that could be surpassed overnight if only challenged. Remembering the days of Elder Tail, there were countless normal (but raid-ranked) monsters and five to ten boss monsters in a single large-scale battle zone. Even normal monsters will be wiped out if you're not careful. With the boss monsters, it's a massive battle where you have to repeatedly annihilate them and explore their abilities to find a way through and finally win.
There is no such thing as a trip to the player town cathedral after being wiped out in a large scale battle zone. You will be resurrected at the entrance of the zone. The entrance of the zone functions as a resurrection area similar to the cathedral.
Even if you're wiped out, and you think you can try again from the entrance of the zone, you'll still have to go through a lot of trial and error, which may take a month or so. It was reasonable to think that it would take about a month.
To back up Lugius' statement, Shiroe had also bought more than a month's worth of food and supplies under William's direction. The cautious Siloe is not bored with that and has packed as many different materials and tools as her will allow, so she can actually stay in the attack zone for about two months.
It's more convenient for you to escape surveillance. Shiroe thinks so. Even though Susukino is remote and overpopulated, it's still one of the player towns. There's a good chance of being noticed. It was still safer that way if he could stay in a zone that was undiscovered. Shiroe didn't know how far he could count on that either....
Of course, though, that didn't mean he wanted to spend a lot of time on it.
The more time they spend in hiding, the greater the risk of information leakage. If Shiroe's prediction is correct, this is not a surveillance that can be shaken off by just switching zones. Nyanta and Akatsuki are supposed to be working on Shiroe's alibi in Akiba's town, but even then, I'm not sure how far that will go. So I want to settle this matter as soon as possible.
Shiroe realizes that her impatient thoughts are mixed with a sense of humanity.
It's strange," she murmured, scratching her cheek with her index finger.
Even though I've only spent a mere half a year there, I miss that guild home that seemed to be wrapped in old wood. I would love to be in the dining room with the wood-scented flooring Michitaka had made for me, listening to everyone's cheerful voices. I'd like to drink hojicha on the balcony where the wind blows and watch the sunset. In order to do so, I have to succeed in this mission. I'm the guild master now, Shiroe said, regaining his spirits.
''Wow?''
When Shiroe looked at the strange voice, Tetra rolled her eyes and looked at me.
'What the hell?'
'Mr. Shiroe was laughing! I saw you laughing all alone.
It's supposed to be funny.
Really? I've never seen...
It was the two men, Naotsugu and Tetra, who were exchanging extremely rude remarks.
'Shiro, you see, is that. He's so muscular.
Oh. Oh, I see. Poor Shiroe-san. Want to try it?
You shouldn't present yourself as an idol.
You can't see it. I'm just asking. I'm just asking out of curiosity. I'd rather pretend it was an act of God than show it to you," he said. And I'll report the people who saw it.
You really are a shitty idol.
Oh no. Naotsugu. Even if I fell in love with you again, I couldn't be the only one.
Shiroe is surprised by the combination of the two, which doesn't allow for any interruptions, though of course Shiroe doesn't show it on her face. I'm not in love with you," said Naotora in front of Shiroe, and Tetra clung to Naotora, saying, "You're a tsundere, climbing elephant.
They must really be a good match for each other.
Shiroe forgetting that she was irritated by the rude words, she started to feel happy. Come to think of it, it's only been two days since they met. It's no wonder I've never seen Shiroe smile, there's only so much we don't know about each other.

It's a good thing that you're able to get the most out of your time. Shiroe will not stop him either. The two of them would be able to defeat any monster in this dungeon with no problem, and Demikus has taken care of the enemies in the vicinity to begin with.
Still, from behind Shiroe, who waved her hand in the air and said, "Be careful!", a voice called out from behind her, "You guys really have plenty of time to spare.
The fully equipped William, who is carrying a huge bow and arrow on his back, lines up next to Shiroe while staring sharply ahead with an expression on his face.
''It's not that I can afford it, it's just that I'm easy-going.
 Shiroe retorted.
William seemed to chuckle at his words.
As I've come to understand over the past few days, William's sharp, wary expression doesn't seem to be indicative of his inner life. To him, that expression is that of normalcy, and it doesn't mean that he's in a bad mood. Even the ironic little laugh has no deep meaning. That is William's normal driving style.
A good raid commander must know the direction the members want to go and their personalities. Otherwise, neither organization nor command can function.
On the other hand, the raid participants also get to know their commander a little better. There is no point in just following the instructions of your commander. Only when you understand the meaning and the will that goes into it will you be able to gain the reaction time necessary for coordinated action.
Shiroe, who was entrusted with the leadership of the second party, was consciously making an effort to get a feel for William's personality, and in doing so, he found that William was thinking about his own guild members and the people around him more than he could imagine from his usual gruff expression.
In a way, that was natural, because without that level of ability, there was no way he would be able to lead a fighting guild like the Silver Sword, a guild that appeared in the server rankings.
''That guy looks like he's just the way he is, though.
The meaning of that vague word was evident as William's gaze went to the giant man who was destroying the monster. Indeed, in the coordination of the second party, only Demikas was floating around.
''That's what I'm worried about, though.
Guilt and apology colored Shiroe's words. But William smiled wryly and gave a small nod.
William stroked his left hand around his thin chin as he plucked at it, and scrutinized his sharp twin eyes as if he were smiling bitterly.
'But even he'll need a chance, you know. Challenge or give up. When the raid starts, you'll see. Even the demi-girl will know. If you don't, that's really all there is to it.
Shiroe still couldn't understand the meaning of William's words that the various parts of him had put on.

 ◆

Three weeks passed, and the group was in the process of attacking.
After a month, the plan was fragile and crumbling, and the future was becoming more and more uncertain. Three weeks passed and there were still two bosses that they had defeated. We haven't even gotten a complete picture of the zone.
The mood of the group was growing stern and weary.

''d*mn it!''
While poisoning the high barking Demikus in his mind, Lugius desperately casts a spell of single pulse recovery 《Heart Beat Healing》. With this, Demikus's HP continues to recover a certain amount for about twenty seconds. The green and orange pulsation surrounding the giant warrior's body is a magical visual effect 《effect》.
Demiquas follows the ochre-colored viscous creature with a mid-level thrust from his signature lunge.
Lightning Straight. He leaned forward with all his might and released a blow that easily pierced the muddy enemy. But that's not good enough, Lugius almost screams.
Demikus' attack pierced the body of the Devouring Sludge, sending it flying away with a sticky sound. They scattered around the body and began to dissolve, emitting a stinging odor. Even the person who attacked them, Demikus, was emitting white smoke. A melee attack against the highly acidic body of the Devouring Sludge could do a lot of damage to the attacker. But the five-meter-plus gigantic sludge doesn't even seem to feel the itch.
"What do I say!
Lugius runs towards the demikus. The brain muscle warrior's rush has caused him to exceed the effective range of the recovery spell of 20 meters. The pre-granted Heartbeat Healing continues to restore Demiquas's physical strength, but it's not enough at all. If he didn't maintain his HP with a combination of immediate recovery and minor recovery, Demikus would fall again.
Lugius felt frustrated with Demiquas, who always disrupted the coordination like this.
A new type of "devouring sludge" emerged from the drains on either side with a heavy sound.
 It was a confusing battle.
This raiding unit, led by Lugius' follower William, is made up of twenty-four men and four parties, but only the first and second parties have a certain level of defense capability. The first party specializes in defense and fixing the enemy, so they must take on a lot of sludge to devour on the front lines.
The third and fourth parties are in charge of firepower, and their mission is the destruction of hostile beings. They specialize in defeating monsters, but their defense is not very good. Their role is to quickly eliminate the monsters that the first party has taken on.
Then, the role of the second party, which Lugius is in, is to attack.
If there are too many monsters for the first party to take on, it is their duty to distribute and accept them, or if there are a large number of enemies that have taken the raiders by surprise, it is their duty to protect the third and fourth softer parties from them.
The flower of the raid is still the first party, which does not back down a step against the biggest and strongest enemies, but the second party is a tactically important position that requires resourcefulness and immediate action. It is difficult to coordinate organically unless all members understand the roles required of their party.

Pursuit by ambush of monsters from left and right.
The first party is protruding to the front line, making it difficult to turn back. Demikus was in a hurry to make a suicide attack in that direction because of the slow progress of the battle. The enemy reinforcements at that time were dangerous. The reinforcements appeared in the third and fourth parties, in other words, the two sides of the rearguard units that had no defensive capabilities. It's a good idea to be able to have a good idea of what you're looking for. If they are attacked, there is not a moment to lose.
(This isn't the time to be talking about others!
From the point of view of Lugius himself, he's rushing out to chase after the prominent demikus.
A wall of translucent, dirty mango jelly looms over me as I'm aware of my feet kicking the ground too slowly.
Is it bad? Thinking that, a silver lump plunged into Lugius' right hand.
"Anchor Howl!
The Guardian Warrior attracts one of the Devouring Sludge with a spirit that makes your eardrums chatter and numb. It's a direct descendant of the same second party. Lugius, who had heard that he was famous but from a small guild, was impressed for the umpteenth time. It's quite a move that he's used to in large scale combat.
The monster seems to have set its sights on Naotsugu, shaking its ugly body with a buzzing shake. Naotsugu, who holds up his shield and continues to fight defensively, seems to understand that if he goes on an aggressive offensive, the damage will increase due to the acid counterattack. His skill in limiting damage by using his provocative skills and shield is perhaps even more technically advanced than that of his fellow Guardian Warrior, Dinkron, the full-time defender of Lugius and his Silver Sword.
The sludge on the left, which was approaching the direct connection, looked like a swollen rice cake as it expanded and then stopped moving.
It is the hypnosis spell of the Grantor (Enchanter), not to mention the sharp spell chanting (casting) of Astral Hupno. The monster that is the target of this spell stops all action, albeit for about twenty seconds. Of course, since it is a "hypnosis" spell, if you take even a small amount of damage, it will release its state and attack you, but it is still a huge boon to reduce the number of enemies participating in battle. This zone is a massive combat zone, however, and the monsters that appear are all of the enhanced large scale battle ranks. The stoppage time due to hypnosis was reduced to roughly four seconds. However, with four seconds, it was no mean feat to run past the stretched-out monsters and reach the front line.
''Enemy reinforcements, call for assistance! Eight o'clock onward, devouring sludge!
Shiroe's voice echoed as he set up the Astral Hupuno.
Following that voice, the third and fourth attacking parties changed their targets. The first to land was Commander William's Rapid Shot. Crystal arrows twinkled like shooting stars, creating a fist-sized penetration mark in the side of the giant sludge that was being devoured. And a constant barrage of magical attacks of fire, ice and lightning.
Without exception, raid monsters have enormous HP. Even with the concentrated attacks of a dozen or so of them, it would take not a short time to put a stop to them. Naturally, the Devouring Sludge, which Shiroe had deterred, will resume its activities, but four seconds is enough time for the Guardian Warrior to earn enough hostility (hate).
I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work.
That healer (healer) called Tetra also has more places to go than it looks. It's a bubble guild that I've never heard of called Light Indigo, but it seems that they've adapted to raiding within a week. Their equipment is lightly armed, which is out of the theory of the who can equip full body armor. However, the way he understood that and devised a way to get around without exposing his weaknesses, I felt an extraordinary sense.
Tetra comes and goes in and out in small increments, scattering Reactive Heal. Then he stole the motion of the Devouring Sludge squeezing his body and hid behind Naotsugu. This is a player technique that uses the Guardian Warrior's powerful defense to hide from the raid monster's powerful ranged attacks, using it like a fortress.
''Naotsugu-san, are you alright?''
I got you, you slime fest.
'Yay! Naotsugu-san is so cool!
You used me as a shield, didn't you?
I'll recover and you'll have to sacrifice me again!
Lugius laughs at the two who are noisy every time. Shiroe and his two companions don't lose their toughness at all. It's a big deal.
A strange light is pouring down from the high ceiling of this zone. It's probably a magical light, or a luminous mushroom or something. That's why it's not difficult to look around in the faint light, even if you're in a dungeon. There is also the use of "bugus lights" when exploring.
But even so, this is still several hundred meters below ground. At the lowest level of the Deep Place of the Palms, and from there into the massive battle zone of the Abyssal Shaft, the lowest estimate is that there are hundreds of millions of tons of earth, sand, and bedrock above us, which can be used by ordinary students and workers. This is a lot of pressure for an ordinary student or working adult.
And when you are exploring, the complex structures and drains put even more pressure on you, as you never know where you might be taken by surprise. The situation is not good. It's not that I'm slacking off. The difficulty of this zone is more than Lugius expected.
He spends eight to ten hours a day, fighting monsters around ten times. That's the extent of what he could do. Each battle was tough, and it took him a long time to recover his stance. The area of exploration hasn't expanded much either.

Despite that, the three men who had joined the temporary group did not seem to be dented in the slightest.
Even the most elite members of the Silversword, led by William, are feeling no small amount of stress. Compared to the average Adventurer, these three were more than capable in a word. It's not so much their level, skills or equipment as their personalities.

''Let's go! I'm going to go. I'm sorry if you fall in love with me?
Come on, man.
"Teh. Well, here we go. I'll take care of everyone's requests. --Listen up! Aurora Heels.
The seven colors of light dance around the area, healing the injuries of companions in a wide area. The ranged attack of the Devouring Sludge engulfs not only the targeted defenders, but also all the attackers in between melee attacks, such as swords and axes. My colleague Federico's HP is also down to about half of what it was. Of course, if there is room, it is the role of Lugius and the restorers to recover them, but in terms of their roles, they can't help but prioritize the warrior professions that receive direct attacks from monsters.
Tetra filled in for Lugius when he raced off to follow up on Demikus with a long chanting technique.
It's a good thing. I'm smart, cute and perfect!
'Yes, yes, yes, I know I have an attitude, but thanks for the heel! Back!
"Concentrate your fire! Refrain from close-range attacks.
Shiroe points a support spell at Tetra. At the same time, Federico, who had received healing, also seems to have returned to the front line.

Hearing the only joyful voice in the background, Rugius also desperately casts a recovery spell.
It seems that this "Devouring Sludge" is a very incompatible opponent for weapon attackers and warrior types. Whenever it attacked at close range, droplets would fly off and cause damage like a counterattack. The status abnormalities and ranged attacks generated by the strong acidic smoke are also a threat. It's not a problem if they are all in one piece, but depending on the position of the battlefield, four or five of them will attack at the same time, just like now.
"Demikus, stay back!
You're a little fish.
With a shout, Demiquas retreated with the Phantom Step. The white smoke of irritation is now rising from his arms. The damage to the armor should not be ridiculous.
"d*mn it, hurry up and fix it!
You don't have to yell at me to be heard.
Lugius begins to chant the Heal. Demiquas has only a few HP left. If he charged again at this point, he would be unable to fight in the blink of an eye. You can't have an attitude of swearing in frustration, although you know that's why you've come back down, but you can't have an attitude of swearing in frustration.
Demikus probably didn't like Lugius' response. He glared at him with a terrible look in his eyes, "If you know what you're doing, get on with it! I spat out.
 Lugius sighed, "Oh dear.
 Surely Demikus is a nuisance.
As a member of the same party, I hope you can do something about it.
If they charge at you alone like this, your recovery work (heal work) will be ruined. Since he doesn't think about the range of your spell at all, his formation will be dragged around and cause this kind of trouble.
Of course, you will also die a lot. When raiding with a large group, there will always be recovery workers around you, so if you die in battle, you can be revived immediately. To Lugius and the other raiding guilds' adventurers, this is mildly similar to being knocked unconscious, but even so, they can't do anything while they are dead. From the perspective of strength, dying is an act that lowers the performance of the entire raiding unit.
As you would expect, these days they've learned that and retreated like this before dying, but again, this is not acceptable from an efficiency standpoint. While waiting to recover, the vanguard is supported by the first party. When Demikus retreated, the first party was able to increase its power to cover the gap.
In other words, Demikus' selfish outbursts are supported by the good will and following of those around him. If that is interrupted, it would be a stand-up play that would involve the entire unit and cause it to collapse.
(But hey.)
Furthermore, Lugius, who piled on the Healing Wind and Heartbeat Healing, thinks while running alongside Demiquas, who is returning to the front line as if freed from chains.
But even so, to be fair, Demiquas is still excellent.
He had spent three weeks exploring while holed up deep underground. During that time, they have been engaged in harsh battles day after day. Although they have never been wiped out, each member of the team has probably died more than ten times.
It was only natural for ordinary people under these conditions to accumulate stress and take it out on their surroundings. It's much more unusual for the Shiroe and the others in the Horizons of Record to maintain their joviality under such extreme conditions.
Lugius thinks of himself as an elite when it comes to raids.
He is led by that William. He is aware that he is the oldest soldier in hell.
Not only Lugius, but all the members of the Silver Sword think so. They take pride in being the strongest in the server.
However, even that guild specializing in large-scale combat, the Silversword, which had the pride of being the strongest guild, has fallen to about forty members, twenty percent of its core members from before the catastrophe. There are members who have joined, but have withdrawn from large-scale battles.
The current large-scale battle, and the challenge of entering a zone where the adventurers are on a par with the adventurers, is that much tougher.
The D.D.D.'s that had claimed to be number one on the server were playing in the Seven Falls Fortress, a level 50 or so goblin extermination battle.
For Lugius and the others, it's really funny. A zone of 90 levels with a combined total of 50 levels of geese, they should call themselves a large scale play guild, not a large scale combat guild.
But with such pride, it was impossible to deny Demikus. This giant martial artist is dumb and does not understand cooperation. He doesn't listen and is a nuisance to those around him. He also has the worst attitude. He lacks most of the qualities in the collaborative work of raiding.
But he is not a coward.
In the midst of a 90-level raid (end content) that even the D.D.D. refrains from doing, in the midst of the chaos of death and violence, this impudent martial artist does not stop at nothing. He doesn't mind making contact with monsters. His eyes do not flee.
Lugius knows that the reason for this is due to envy towards Shiroe and his Silver Sword. But that alone should not be enough to overcome the fear. How can he face mucus lumps several times taller than he is, and monsters that devour his limbs right in front of him with willpower alone?
Lugius has no choice but to cast a protective spell on himself and Demikus.
 The shape is bad.
The search is not progressing at all. This is perhaps the toughest battlefield in the server, where even the Silver Sword's self-control is slowly wearing off. But we can't leave this violent man behind. Right now, he was just running at a sprint to fulfill his true purpose as a restorer to prevent damage.

 ◆

But William, in whom the Silversword has placed its trust, is in pain.
After a day's battle, he threw out a stack of papers summarizing the results of his search and stretched out his back, leaning back in his canvas chair as if it was going to tip over.
'This ain't going well.'
Yes.
In attendance is Shiroe from the Horizon of Record. This bespectacled young man draws a map that William can't compete with. William sighs as he sways in his chair in a large posture with his legs sloppily spread. He is so conscious of his own eyebrows being knit together.
'How much further do you think we have to go?'
'Well...'
Shiroe traced an unusually large picture map with her fingertips.
Three to go. No, four.
That's the number of boss-enemies you can expect in this zone.
There are many different types of large scale battles, but this zone is your typical traverse-type raid dungeon. Raid dungeons look like standard dungeons that have been expanded and strengthened to make them more raid-friendly.
The dungeon zone is much larger than the party dungeon zone and contains many passages, rooms, and in some cases traps and riddles. There are impressive halls and voids at key points in the labyrinth, and there are powerful raid bosses that seem to protect the key points.
Every Raid Enemy is a target to be defeated by a large force. In this zone, it is assumed to be coordinated with twenty-four players, so a team of six (party) will only be kicked to the curb if you attempt it. It's to the point where even if you set up with twenty-four players (full raid), there's a chance you'll be defeated if you're not careful. However, if they were normal raid monsters, the Silver Sword would certainly be able to advance the search. We've been slowly filling up the map of this zone up to this point.
The problem is the raid bosses, and defeating them will require different tactics than normal monsters.
The ones I've successfully defeated in this zone are the Vandemier of the Garden of One and the Elrayda of the Garden of Five. Both were not only powerful, but also possessed special abilities, forcing them into a complex battle.

''That's tough.''
The battle with the last two was quite acrobatic.
Fighting a raid boss is always like that.
It's hard to even make a battle happen, let alone win, if you just put together a strong group of members to take on them.
In both battles, we didn't get wiped out, but that meant that there was literally no moment where everyone died, and we had to retreat more than twenty times, meaning that out of the twenty-four members, several survivors escaped and the remaining members were revived in the safe zone. Including resuscitation in combat, the members have been rendered incapable of combat quite a few times.
Of course, there was some payback. From the sludge that appeared along the way, the mutated eagle lion (Mute Glyph), the multi-headed flower with poisonous roots, and Venom Hydrangea, we were able to obtain high-level materials such as mud of the primordial and mutant leather, which could only be obtained in large scale battles. These were drops that could be used by adventurers with artisanal abilities to create items. They were valuable items that could be used to make very powerful items, and I had no idea how much they would be worth.
In addition, from the Vandemier of the First Garden and Elraida of the Fifth Garden, I obtained a total of seven powerful illusory-class equipment.
This kind of equipment was always a great motivation for the major raiding guilds competing for the lead on the server. In particular, the items they had obtained this time were all of a kind that they had never seen before. In terms of performance, they were an extension of the past illusion-grade items, but for the Silver Sword, they were a battle result worthy of a publicity stunt.

I'm not going to be able to get a good idea of what I'm talking about," he said.
While looking at it, William calculated the number of days remaining.
'Ten days is not going to happen.'
....
A problem that plagues William is that of resupply.
The more battles he fights, the more the Adventurer's equipment is worn out. If the adventurer dies, there is more damage than usual, and it cannot be restored with a revival spell. In order to keep your equipment in good condition, it needs constant repair.
Of course, this was common knowledge in the Elder Tail, and William had taken this into account. This is a problem that has been a concern since the days of the Elder Tail in these large-scale, treacherous battles. These raiders include blacksmiths, armourers, seamstresses and woodworkers. It is common practice for major guilds to make repairs in between battles.
However, this is only possible when they have the materials to make repairs. Without a well-equipped workshop, the materials used to repair them would wear out quickly. And the equipment of a top-tier fighting guild member like the Silver Sword, in other words, the materials used to repair illusory-class items, were also made from illusory-class materials.
It was not only for repairing damaged equipment. The same is true of William's 【God's Crystal Armor】. This arrow that can produce explosive damage is a masterpiece made by a top-notch craftsman using illusory materials. Since it was a consumable item, it was possible to produce about 500 arrows from the material item God's Rainbow Crystal. However, even five hundred was just an insignificant amount in this series of battles. He had already used more than two thousand of the nearly ten thousand Godly Crystal Cassette arrows he had prepared. The same could be said for all consumption-type items such as water pills, ointments, spirit tablets and scrolls.
After all, large-scale combat is a unique cycle of large-scale combat.
In order to maintain the equipment you've gained in large scale combat, you need the materials you've gained in large scale combat, which qualifies you to take on more difficult large scale battles. If you win the more difficult challenges, you'll get even better equipment. But to keep it, you'll have to keep trying harder and harder battles.
In order to balance out this cycle, historic and stable raiding guilds will regularly hold large scale battles where good materials can be procured even if the difficulty is moderate. This is for the purpose of replenishment. However, now that the Catastrophe has crippled the Fairy Circle, it is difficult to travel to the raid zones scattered around the world. Even if that was possible, the Silversword was a warrior's guild. He felt evasive about his decision to compromise and go to a lukewarm zone, saying it was for supply purposes.
After the Catastrophe, William has been able to run through it.
He has no regrets about it, but even so, it led to the spitting out of a large number of material items and materials that he had accumulated up until now. William is proud to say that he and his team are the strongest fighting group on this server if the number of people in the 24-man (full raid) class. However, their pocketbooks are scattered.

''I also have some material prepared by Akiba on my end.
How long is he going to last?
Still ten days to add.
Shiroe's reply was also bitter. The Record Horizon is a weak guild with less than eight members, if you ask me. The fact that such a small company has prepared ten days' worth of supplies for the most elite troops of the Silver Sword, is enough to make it all the more astonishing, but that still doesn't help to break the deadlock. In three weeks, they had defeated two bosses. It would be difficult to destroy four of them, twice that number, in twenty days. According to customary practice, the bosses are supposed to get stronger as they move forward.
Besides, there was another thing that troubled William.
It came from the young man in front of him.
Shiroe, who turns his head down and keeps silent to hide his expression, is hiding something much.
To begin with, this zone is unnatural.
Vandemier of the Garden of One.
Elraida of the Garden of Five.
The other bosses have never been seen, but even William can guess their names. These would be Mezaracrau in the Second Garden, Ibra Habra in the Third Garden, and Tartuffe Luger in the Fourth Garden. The bosses guarding this zone have the same names and appearances as the keepers of the nightmare that is the pride of the Nine Prisons of Halos. Of course, they aren't exactly the same. In the Heart of Dreams expansion pack, the large-scale combat content for the Nine Prisons of Hayroth, these men were known as the Vandemier of the First Prison and the Erraida of the Fifth Prison. They are raid bosses with the appearance of a winged serpent and a forgotten white horse. They have reappeared, changing their name and appearance slightly. They're naturally more powerful, and in a way that buries the strategies of the past.
The use of character data is not uncommon in games. So I guess this zone is just one of the many examples of that kind of thing. There has to be some background to it. If this world is a game.
I don't know what Shiroe is hiding or not saying.

I'm not in a position to complain about other people's affairs.
That is also William's honest feelings.
I don't think we are wrong. The fact that we left Akiva and repeated raids in the north. I don't think so, but the Silversword has gotten too far away from the various voices. Humans can't move forward just because they're not wrong. William did not want to understand that. He wanted to think that as long as we were shouting that we were the strongest, that was all that mattered. He thought that if his friends became faint, William could wipe away their fears by shouting at them.
But when he came to the end of it, he found that some of the reality was that it wasn't enough.
Maybe William was wrong, after all, just because he didn't want to admit it.
The fact that he refused Shiroe's invitation that day and kicked off the .
William wanted to talk about it with Shiroe.
But now, Shiroe is harboring an unknown secret, and she seems to be in pain. William wasn't mature enough to bow down to Shiroe and listen to the answers to his doubts, nor did he want to be such an adult.
He also feels like he's mocking himself for being a child's pride. There's also a feeling of reopening the door to the idea that that's okay, what's wrong with that.
The stockpile was getting worse and worse, and a large-scale battle was being fought deep underground, where there was no escape, and in such a situation, what could he say to the Silver Sword's friends who were following him? What can I say to myself, a game junkie who has never played anything but Elder Tail in my life?
I don't think William has anything. All he has is his unfounded strength.
He thinks he is a child wielding that one and only weapon and being a brave child. But if you only have that one weapon, it's only natural to use it. As a gamer, William understands this.

'What do you think, Shiroe?'
What?
William scratched his head wildly in response to the question.
He couldn't respond to the question back.
In other words, William himself needs a chance. Whether to challenge him or give up.
To prove who he is and who he wants to be. What difference does it make to Demikus, lost and ready to pick a fight with everything in sight, and the Silver Sword?
And the opportunity is right in front of us, in the fight. William himself has decided to do so.
So we have to keep doing it, even if it's hard.
