Isn't this town starting to feel like an Akiba?
The Adventurers must be having an effect on him.
It's not like that.
Isaac crossed his arms and nodded his head at Rezalic's explanation.
The town of Maihama was coming to life as spring was about to arrive. The wind was still cold in the morning and evening, but the warmth of the sun was starting to come through, and with it, the people and shops of the town were getting brighter.
It's good. This is a good thing. It's a good thing that the Adventurers have had a positive impact on the town, both tangible and intangible, and that has given it a boost. But if you refer to the Adventurers as "we", the word "us" is instantly misleading.
I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work.
''What is it, those eyes. It's not just the Eighth Shopping District's (our) fault.
It's your fault.
 That's right.
What was written on the banner was "Special Price, Inari Zushi Bento", and next to that was "Washlet Making Squares". What flooded the main street were Akiba's farming tools, such as hoes and spades. The reason for this is that the tools are not ordinary farming tools that have been given magical powers.
 Well, that's a good point.
But those are not the point, the 1/6 figure Princess Reinesia (going out) and 1/6 figure Princess Reinesia (winter rose version) are clearly the fault of Karashin's Eighth Shopping Street.
I don't want Isaac to be lumped in with "us". It's you.
But Karashin, who should have been glaring at you, said, "It's very lively, well, that's good. How do you like it, Yserus-sama? The little figure walking in front of Isaac, accompanied by that Karasin, is Ycelus-Elard-Cowen. He is Reynecia's brother, or in other words, a nobleman of Maiama. He is only eight years old, and his figure is small and young for his age. Isaac doesn't know anything about children, but was that age about to enter elementary school? Or is it a little higher? That's about the extent of my understanding.
My grandfather said that in the future, it will be important for the people of the Earth to develop by adopting the culture of the adventurers.
For that, he's so mature and d*mn serious in what he says that he closes his mouth.
When I'm talking to Icelus, he says, "Was this what I was like when I was eight years old? It's Isaac who can't get rid of his suspicion that this is the case.
"...why are you following me?
I want to get to know all of you adventurers just as much as you do. Please tell me all about them.
I've heard that a few times.
Apparently, this child, Yserus (I stopped thinking of him as a kid. I've been told that he is a child and is interested in swords, knights and fighting.
When Isaac is training, he sometimes comes to his feet a little bit. He looks up at me with eyes like big marbles and I can't get rid of him. My sister is a high-class cat line, but my brother is an indoor dog line. I can't take it anymore.
You see, Isaac, we are here to protect you. It's also our duty to protect you.
"Rii.
'Hahaha. You look tired again. Hey, Isaac. I'm a fine man. That's a high point.
I'm not a pattern.
However, it seemed that the wholesaler was not so wholesale.
Rezalic was right, escorting the Corwin family was one of the requests entrusted to Isaac and the others. Training and escorting the Knights of Maiama (Glass Grieves). Shiroe didn't say which was the main request, and Isaac didn't ask either. Before coming to Maihama, he thought it was an easy task.
Even now, I don't think it's gotten any more difficult.
The Adventurers are much better fighters than the Earthmen, and Isaac's companions are dumb but good at what they do. They'll be able to train and protect you, too. But difficulty and complexity are not the same thing.
 I don't think it's difficult, but it's complicated.
It's just like the quests in the game, "Defend the target of the escort for three days! There is no obvious indication such as "(0/3)". Not only that. Relationships that are as simple and divisible as games do not exist in today's world. At any rate, this is not a game anymore. This is a different world. Isaac remembered the serious, rotten, bespectacled face that said that line.
The main reason for the hassle, Yserselus, walked briskly with the bounciness of a child. It's probably the way he was raised that he didn't run. But his gait was as if he were marching. It's too cheerful, and from Isaac's point of view, it's playtime. In short, he is embarrassed.

It's a good thing. It will also strengthen the relationship between Akiva and Maiama. I'm sure she'll become a lord in the future...''
Oh, come on. You still don't get it.
'It's true that it's about the future. But the future is something you have to prepare for and welcome, right?
Rezalic and his maidservants followed as Icelus stopped at the weaver's shop. Isaac didn't plan to follow, so he crossed his arms and looked at them, and Karasin spoke to him.
Well, since it's called "heir" or "first grandson," that's a possibility, and if Karashin is like that, then there's a good chance he's going to be a lord, but the word "lord" didn't quite make the connection with Chibisuke, who was listening to the shopkeeper's explanation in front of him.
Isaac is mortified, "Well...something like that," he replies.
'Isaac-san has a point. The balance of power in Yamato is very unstable. We don't know what's going to happen next. The West Runde is fishy, and there have been reports of mysterious monsters. Even the inside of Akiba is a pain in the ass. In fact, Shiroe-dono reported that he might be able to get a hint on how to return home.
"Hmm.
 Isaac replies live.
'There. Don't you miss it? Home.
I don't come from a place that matters where I live. I'm not from a place where I'm particular about a place. I have a lot of them at hand now. I'll think of all the troublesome things in front of me when I see them.
To be honest, Isaac's policy is to avoid thinking about it, because if it's right in front of you, all you have to do is choose and eat it. Thinking" is the policy of a person who can think and come up with an answer, but not Isaac. Isaac's policy is that as long as he can make the best decision at the time, he's fine with it.
You can figure out what to do with your money after you win.
If I could go home right now, or after I leave, what a raccoon dog!
It's like a man again. As expected of a man.
Do those charlatans want to go home?
But that is Isaac's inner thoughts, and he doesn't deny that others want to leave. It's not hard to see why. However, it was on a whim that he asked Karashin about it. Icelus had heard the shopkeeper's detailed account of the dyeing techniques recently brought from Akiva. That was the only reason why Isaac on the street was unavailable, that was the only reason.

'Yes, well. I've got a couple of girls over there that I've got a dinner (date) with.
But, well, it was useless to ask, and I responded with a shallow answer: "I almost respect you. Sarcasm, of course. Karashin, who is as good-looking as he is, smiles at Isaac's threats and begins to make excuses.
If you're not in control of your feelings when you leave, you're going to be distraught. I'm telling myself that it could go either way. To myself.
Hmm. That's gonna make sense.
I'll follow you, of course. But he'll probably leave the company if he does.
'Really? I thought you were an ad agency (Corcoran's Eatco)?
It was information we asked for when we revealed our circumstances to each other at several banquets. We had a good laugh at the difference in circumstances. He told me that he was working as a lowly employee in a large building somewhere in Akasaka.
That's true," he said, "but I'm testing my skills here. But once you've tried your hand at it, you can't go back. Once you get a taste of the business, you can't get burned by cutting out the budget with a weak PowerPoint presentation. Have you been poisoned? In this world.
 Isaac stared at Karasin intently.
The man who was supposed to be smiling helplessly met Isaac's gaze with a somewhat huffy expression.
Isaac was impressed that there was a manly bone in this flirtatious young man, then. To be honest, Isaac doesn't know anything about advertising agencies or Powerpoint, but I guess what Karashin means is that he's going to be independent. He's talking about getting out from under a big roof and, yes, leaving the blessings of a public listing to take a gamble.
That was somewhat amusing, and Isaac patted him on the back. "That's nice," he said.
Karasin coughed and said, "Don't be silly, your eyes are a primitive gorilla, you brainiac! And so on, and so on, but I laugh it off. Karashin's cursing is a kind of flirtation.

'Oh, hey!'
 Isaac stepped forward quickly.
Before he knew it, Icelus had moved into the shop next door and was looking at the store display with his sparkling eyes and picking up one of the swords. It was more of a dagger than a small sword (shortsword), but it looked large and splendid on Icelus' height of about one hundred and ten centimeters.
It must be so, even from the point of view of Yserus himself. I'm looking at the dagger, which has a blade span of about fifteen centimeters, carefully and happily.
''It's cool,''
The dress of Icelus is appropriate for a child of the nobility. It's not as flamboyant as the culture of the Maihama territory, but compared to the common people, it's different from the fabric. He must have seen that and knew it was probably a superior customer. Isaac gasped as the little fat shopkeeper popped out from the back of the store, and he held out his palm to silence him.
'Such a sword, dude, it's just shiny and completely useless! Reza, you shouldn't do that either.
Here. Herr Isselus. Isaac, you have a connoisseur in mind.
'! Oh, God. You guys.
He kicked one of Rezaric's munchies, which he would have smirked at knowingly (Rezaric also wears sheet metal leg armor (plate grieves), so he doesn't even hurt at this level), and took the dagger away from Yserus.
Icelus lets out a sigh of disappointment, "Ah........
He's a boy, after all. There must be a longing for these things.
Even Isaac understands that. If the weight of the armor and the shine of the sword didn't strike a chord with you when you arrived here in the aftermath of the catastrophe, that's a lie. It's no wonder he was riding his motorcycle. It is always exciting for a man, no matter how old he gets, to control a big piece of iron. Especially for a child of elementary school age. I'm not surprised if he gets so excited that his nose starts to bleed.
All right, all right, all right. Here, try this one.
...but this. It's expensive.
Icelus is pleased with the hunting dagger he had no choice but to mend, but his expression is depressed. If you look at the price, well, it's certainly two zeros more than the raggedy dagger I just saw. This is the difference between what the Daichijin made and what flowed in from Akiba. Moreover, for being in a weapon shop on such a main street, Isaac's choice of one was quite good.
It's just that it's a few hits of taylormade. Well, if you're not interested, that's fine.
Isaac said. I don't mean to push you, of course, but I also know that Iceles, who quickly turned his back on us, really has some unrequited love for you. It is true that Iserus is a clever, well-behaved and stubborn child, even Isaac thinks so. But he is only eight years old. It is impossible for him to hide his feelings from the way he looks at you or the way he walks.
Isaac shrugged his shoulders and Karasin said, "Well then, Master Isselus. Next time Isaac-kun will look after you. Hey, Isaac," he says to Isaac. It was a deliberate line that could be heard by the boy with his back turned away.
Karasin tells Isserus, who turns around and looks up at him.
It's a gift, Master Yserus. Oh, don't be shy, okay? I just wanted to do a little bit of aristocracy. Yeah, play the aristocrat. Isaac-kun, too, is willing to do it. It's just another thing that makes a merchant worthwhile.
No, I'm not into this at all, it's too much trouble, Isaac thought.
But Karashin's is stone-faced. It's true that a wink fits his sarcastic smile. He is a frivolous and elusive man, to all intents and purposes.
'Well, I'll go pick that one out next time. And while we're at it, let's get some more for the gorillas. So, let's continue our tour. It's not too early.
Kalashin was laughing as he walked off to push Icelus back.
Isaac did well and followed suit.
Guards are a real pain in the ass.
It's just, well, not a bad walk for a holiday.

Slowly the time passed and spring deepened.
Isaac has been having an okay time, too. In fact, there are plenty of things to do, but Isaac is not a diligent enough man to take on everything in its entirety.
You can leave the training of the Order to Rii-Gent and Zecca-Eagle. The Black Sword Order is full of physical idiots whose brains are made up of muscle. Those people are so stupid that they don't even know what fatigue is, so they should have been left to do the physical work. It's a good thing I'm a guildmaster," Isaac said, using the unexplained excuse of "I'm a guildmaster, too," and spending three days out of the week taking naps. It's just like a lion.
It's not easy to fall asleep at night after a nap, and Isaac often wandered around like he's doing now. It's called a night walk. Of course, it wasn't uncommon for him to go out to the tavern and drink, but almost without exception Isaac's friends were loud and manly. The other guilds have exactly the same opinion of Isaac, who is tired of dealing with such people.
It's a good idea to have a good time with them. You're now walking through the third floor of the Castle Ashes, the main building of Castle Cinderella.
It's probably around 21:00. Most of the earthlings should be asleep at this time. The lights in this world are more precious than in the earth world. But that's just for the common man, and as expected of the Free Cities Alliance Eastal, the mansion of the chieftain who unites his aristocrats has magical lights at every corner of the corridor. They are also essential for security reasons.
And the lights also change people's habits.
You will find that you will be able to get the most out of your time at the same time.

'How's the training going?'
That's about right. The knights are coming along nicely.
After giving a reasonable greeting like "Hey there," he walked into the office, and Isaac sat down on the reception set without asking for permission to do so. He asked for a cup of tea and threw his back out to the calm maidservant who questioned him in a whisper.
This is not the first time he's visited late at night. Lately, he's been visiting at least once a week. Today it was by invitation, but lately he's been visiting on a lark. Isaac thanked the attendant who offered him a cup of deep-colored tea, "Oh, thank you," he said, and took a sip.
He thanked her and took a sip of his tea.
I've never told Sergiad, but there's something comfortable about this office. It is lavish, but its opulence has been washed away by the baptism of age and flamboyance. Everything is simple and quiet, and the atmosphere is similar to that of a well-maintained temple or shrine back home.
Isaac liked it so much that he included the office in his nighttime wanderings. It was even more convenient when he was tired of fussing with his subordinates.

Sergiad, who had packed up the papers on his office desk, also moved to the reception set and relaxed his expression as he faced Isaac.
It's reassuring. We live in a time when you never know what's going to happen.
'Did you call me all the way down here to make small talk?
Yes.
Hey, hey.
 Well, that's okay.
 Isaac shrugged.
'Don't deprive me of the fun I'm having in my short time of age.
An old man with a 900-level head would be disappointed if he hit you.
 Isaac laughed with Sergiad.
It had been more than three months since Isaac had arrived here in Maihama. From the first greeting, he and Sergiad had talked a lot of things to each other.
Of course, even Isaac knows that he's dealing with the Earthlings, and he's almost in awe of his and his adventurers' ability to fight. We also know that, as a noble lord, he plans to approach the Round Table with the intention of providing technical and economic support to the Round Table.
But there is more to it than that, Isaac senses.
Isaac thinks that this old man, Sergiad-Cowen, is quite a big man. He's also a very friendly man who is two years younger than him in age. He is a man who is a lot younger than he is in terms of his age, but he is also a man who is more approachable to Isaac personally. I think he's coming down to embarrass me, even though he doesn't know much about etiquette.
He is a big-boned old man with good posture.
He must have worked out a lot when he was young. Even now, he doesn't wobble when he walks down the hallway. The way he sits on the sofa is also dignified.
In spite of that, he is curious and mischievous. I've heard that he likes to order dorayaki (Japanese pancakes) and he also showed me his custom-made glasses. I've heard that the Adventurer's special glasses make you as clever as a fountain of wisdom," he told me, much to my dismay. Even Isaac didn't say anything about it because he was asked to.

'Well, it's about Icelus.
After a brief laugh, Sergiad cut him off.
I'm sure you'll be able to find something to talk about, since I even called you out on it, and Isaac said, "Oh. I'm not a fan of that. I'm sure you'll be able to find out more about this.
Sergiad is a great sovereign who is highly respected by his subjects.
However, it seems that Sergiad's personal character is a very stylish and interesting old man. Isaac suspects. The old man has a lot of fun with a lot of different things, even if they are all disguised as dignity. I've been experimenting with Isaac lately to see if he can keep up with the puns of the Adventurers. It's a good thing that Isaac is very easy to talk to because of that.
There will be a big party soon to celebrate his birthday. To an adventurer, this seems the most absurd thing to do.
We'll have a party, too. On my birthday, I'll have a few drinks and roll a pipe.
Hmm. I thought I'd be rejected as a boring piece of aristocratic politics.
'I don't know much about politics, but it's Icelus' birthday, right? It's not that kind of a thing to put a price on a day like that.
Isaac flushed. Well, I guess it's a hassle.
 I'm sure it's a hassle. I'm sure it's not too much trouble.
But as Isaac thought this, Sergiad's words echoed in his ears, "I intend to name Isselus as the heir to the Corwin family on the spot.

'Heir? Oh, come on, he's eight years old.
Sergiad didn't answer Isaac's tweak, which he put in incredulously, but only took a sip of his tea.
'In the first place, old man. You have a son. The serious kind.
At Isaac's repeated questions, Sergiad seemed to be gathering his thoughts as he squeezed his beard. Such a gesture also suited Sergiad well, and Isaac had seen him many times.
'Fennel is my groom,' he said. He's a good man," he said. He may be a civilized man, but he hasn't forgotten the spirit of war. He was a good manager of the water supply in Maihama and I paid a lot of money for him. I pay good money for him, but my fellow countrymen are not convinced. They want to see Corwin's blood in his successor.
Hmm.
Isaac had also heard about that area.
It's not that I'm not interested in the circumstances of other people's homes, but when it comes to the composition of the lord's family, which is the target of the guards, I can't afford to be indifferent. Also, in this world where entertainment is limited, the family situation of the ruler is a good source of gossip.
In the end, he was able to learn the basics of the business world by living in the tavern or in the marketplace for three months.
My daughter Saraliyah and Fennel have three children, the eldest, Liselthea. The eldest, Liselthea. My second daughter, Leinecia, and my youngest child, Icelus. And Icelus, the youngest.
 I've heard about that too.
 Sergiad did not get boys.
The children are two sisters. An older sister, Saralia, and a younger sister, Langrissa. Both are already thirty years old, but they are graceful and beautiful, and are very popular. The older sister, Saralia, has a son-in-law. That's the one we're talking about, Fennel. Right now, this Maihama territory is ruled by Sergiad as the lord, while Feynell is in charge of trade and internal administration as his one arm.
The three children born to the two of them are the three children mentioned in the story.
'Lysertea renounced her inheritance. Lyselthea renounced her inheritance and married into a knight's family. She never listens when she starts talking. She says she will die by the throat if she does not marry the man she loves.
Whoever he looked like, he looked like his grandfather. Isaac mumbled in his mouth. The knight who married him is a man named Jaris. He is the best wielder among the younger members of the Order of Maihama, the Glass Grieves. It's not old enough to be the leader of the group, but on the basis of guts and sword skills alone, he's already one of the three best knights in the group.
So that leaves us with Reinesia and Icelus.
You're in the presence of a princess. Since your grandfather's daughter is my groom, it's okay for him to be my groom too, right?
Isaac returns to Sergiad's low voice.
However, that doesn't mean he doesn't have an expectation about the answer.
'--the girl would be better suited for another job.
Another job, huh?
Sergiad smiled slightly bitterly and looked out the window at the moon. Isaac looked at him as if to join him.

The Yamato has long been ruled by the Westlande dynasty. I wonder if you are familiar with this dynasty. It's an ancient story. Then there was a war. It was a war that would take the whole world by storm. It was a war between the Arvs and other human tribes. After the war of the Six Tilt Princess, the Westlande Imperial Dynasty was destroyed. --Afterwards, Yamato was divided in two, the League of Free Cities of Istal and the Holy Empire of West Runde, which ruled the West. The title of Duke of Corwin was conferred upon us by the ancient dynasty of the Westlande. The League of Free Cities of Eastar and the Holy Empire of Westlande are both descendants of that ancient dynasty.
Celgiad began to talk about the history of Yamato.
The Holy Empire of West Runde is the rightful successor to the ancient Emperor West Runde dynasty.
Huh...?
I'm told that the Free Cities Alliance of Eastar will be brought under your rule.
I hate this shit.
It's true. It's a hassle. And dangerous. In my eyes, Yamato is about to turn a corner in its history. It is an extraordinary time. We, the Earthmen and the Adventurers, have been talking to each other. A lot of great things are going to happen, but a lot of terrible things are going to happen as well.
Isaac doesn't know the hard way.
He doesn't know which one or what is right when he is told he is the rightful successor. However, since neither Maihama nor Kansai seem to be in trouble at the moment, I think it's best to just let them be. I don't think they should go out of their way to cause trouble.
It was a mistake to ask Isaac about this in the first place. It's something that should be brought up with the Dark Glasses.
What's the point of this?
Isaac asked, scratching his head raggedly, and Sergiad laughed teasingly and slowly resumed his story.
It's a tough time to be a lord in those days. --I was wrong about Reinesia," he said. I was wrong about Reinesia, I thought she was a girl with no sense of humor. I saw her dare to enter the Great Council Hall of the Ice Court and dare to speak out against the nobility, and I realized my own foolishness. Yes, she was right. Leinecia is right.
Sergiad smiled slightly and said proudly of his mistake.
The old man did not know his granddaughter, and he could not possibly know the Adventurer. If you don't face the Adventurer and listen to everything he has to say, you will find that this Celgiad is a true fool and a great admirer. I felt as if that lazy girl had beaten me to the ground with an iron club by that Reinesia fellow. Seeing her mount the griffon and take off was a revival of sorts for me at my age.
Isaac did not interrupt Sergiad's words.
His words sounded like a confession in the quiet office of the night.
'That's quite an intelligent girl. She is lazy, but she knows her duty. I suppose we could appoint that girl to the position, or maybe even get her a husband and put her in charge of Maiama.
Here. You could be a princess.
But is that enough? I guess so.
Sergiad was still lost and seemed to be searching in the air for an answer that he could not find.
'The girl may have a greater task ahead of her,' --─ She may have a bigger job ahead of her, and being a lord is still a man's job. And Icelus knows that. At his age. Icelus is a smart boy. And more importantly, he's a loving boy. He loves his land. That's one of the qualities a lord needs.
Isaac shrugged his shoulders in reply.
This is Myhama and Sergiad is its lord.
If Sergiad is going to make Iserus his successor, there is nothing that Isaac, an outsider, can say. In fact, even Isaac doesn't think that Ysersus is unfit to be a lord. It's a good thing that you're not going to have to worry about it. I'm sure there are similar examples here. Isaac thought to himself.

"The Free Cities Alliance Eastar will be in for a wild ride. No. Eastar will not be the only one. The Yamato has welcomed the Adventurers, and this world has entered a new era. You and I may be one and the same, but if that is the case, when we meet, new possibilities will emerge. That's why their births are reaching out from the city to Ashime Castle.
Hey, hey, you're an old man with a good ear.
From now on, we cannot lead our people in Yamato unless we get to know the Adventurer. "From now on, we will not be able to lead our people in Yamato until we get to know the Adventurer. While he is in Maihama, will you teach him what we cannot teach him?
What? You don't have to do that. I don't mean to brag, but I'm not very smart.
I don't think so. I think that at a young age, he needs a light like you, Master Isaac.
As such, Isaac, an outsider, would only be able to follow the request and train the knights. And protect the Lord's family. The lord family includes that little child, so of course that will have to be protected as well.
 Everything else would be "incidental".
Fortunately, the Adventurers are strong. Isaac and the Sword of Pain Black are strong enough to defeat most hazards. The capital of Maihama is not a bad place to live. The Corwens are not a bad bunch. Of course, they have their associations and interests. But the fact that they've hosted the rogue Black Sword Knights (Isaac's people) is a fact of life.
I'm not sure I'm going to be the only one who can do that. A smile rose to the edge of his lips, a smile that Sergiad didn't understand.
'Oh..... Good. As much as I can.'
Please. Mister Isaac.
They spent the evening talking about some more unresolved topics.

In the early summer, when Icelus was eight years old, there came an event that would later be called the Catastrophe.
It was not accompanied by an explosion, a flash, or a shaking of the earth, but it was a catastrophic event. It began with the sudden disappearance of the Adventurers from the city of Maihama.
For the first few days, the adults thought it was just a coincidence or a fluke, but as soon as they realized that this was not a passing fiasco, they began to exchange rumors about it. Many of them were filled with accusations that the Adventurer had suddenly grown lazy and was planning a rebellion, but from the start, Ysersus suspected that they were missing the point.
The Adventurer is a legend to Icelus, who is a lover of chivalry.
Slowly, new information began to trickle into the city.
The Adventurers gathered in the city of Akiba for a long meeting. Mother Saraliyah had told them that the Adventurers were facing a problem of some sort, and that they too were stuck in the middle of a problem that could not be solved.
The adults, knowing this, began to haggle over whether they should negotiate or be included in the Council of Lords, but Icelus knew from the start what to do.
The fact that the heroic 'adventurers' are baffled by the problem means that the world is in big trouble!
It's wrong to be discussing which one is higher in such a critical situation, or what the pecking order should be, without the other person. That's what Yserus argued, but the adults seemed to be so swept up in their own convenience that they weren't interested in such things. Of course, Iserus was not good enough to explain. A year later, Icelus can see it now.
Since he is the grandson of his lord, the knights of Glass Grieves and the wealthy merchants of the realm bow to him politely. It was an experience that made me feel proud, but it also made me feel terribly uncomfortable.
Sometimes, when they complimented me, it sounded like a lie. That was sad. Sometimes when they followed Yserus, I could tell it was not because Yserus was right, but because they wanted to be liked by Yserus' grandfather. There were times when he felt like he was insignificant and threw a tantrum.
In other words, Ysersus' words may or may not be heard, depending on the circumstances of his surroundings. He was hurt by the thought that he was a child and that there was nothing he could do.

The opportunity to change the situation came from his sister, Reinesia.
I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I'm not the only one. I'm sure you'll be able to find a lot of good reasons to be excited about it. After the Council of Lords, she was ordered by her grandfather Sergiad to travel to Akiva to help the people there.
It was the first time in his life that Ycelus had ever experienced a shock.
He loved Raynesia as a beautiful, kind family that needed to be protected, but at the same time, being raised as a man, Icelus subconsciously believed that he, not Raynesia, would be the one to help the family (and therefore the lord) with their work in the future.
Icelus couldn't help but be shocked by the fact that it was his sister who was given the job, even though there was an age difference.
She had lined up with Krusty, the knight of the Princess Protection, to fight against the armies of the Goblin Green Ogre. But it was not out of a desire to be an adventurer, but out of a holy duty to her clan. My sister has no interest in the Adventurer. She knows that as her brother Ycells. I believe that she was not in the same mood as Ysersus, as she properly took the Adventurer under her wing and saved her people with her friendship.
I want to see the Adventurer. She was still only a child, and she wanted to see him in battle. His sister, he thought, was not only beautiful, but also a noble and wonderful woman. Compared to his sister, he was only a chick. He wasn't even really qualified yet to complain about the treatment of those around him.
As it turns out, there was a lot of work to do.
In order to deal with the Adventurer, even Yserus would have to grow up to be a nobleman with a thorough knowledge of the family business. It is only because she is the most beautiful woman in Eastar, the brilliant sister of the Princess of the Winter Rose, that she is able to work with the Adventurer. Being twice her age, Icelus had a lot to learn.
Fortunately for him, he was the grandson of a heir to the Duke of Celgiad, so he was no stranger to the role of teacher. From his mother, Saraliyah, he could learn the history and geography of the Free City Alliance Eastal and beyond, and his father, Fennel, could tell him detailed stories about the industry and terrain of the territory. It was too early to go along with the training of the Knights, but everyone, even the gardeners and horse choppers, were teachers to be learned, with specialized knowledge and skills, in the eyes of the current Iserus.

Now, almost a year later, on the eve of his ninth birthday, Iserus is (he thinks) all grown up, and Isaac, the Black Sword of the Adventurers, has been training him.
A dry, high-pitched sound echoed in the small courtyard.
The wooden sword made to fit Iserus's height, no matter how hard he tried, did not even reach Isaac's clothes.
''Isaac-kun this isn't good enough for you?''
Ycells asks, hiding his ragged breath.
'I don't know anything about that. I don't know what to do.
Okay.
Kesa-susage with both hands, then a sideways cleave, then a thrust back to the wrist.
Iserus' sword was not bad for an eight-year-old, but it did not reach Isaac. Isaac's great sword, which must have been ten times heavier than Icelus's wooden sword, would catch and deflect Icelus's wooden sword as he nudged it with one hand like a piece of stick.
Training with Isaac was very different from that with the other instructors. There were no gestures or kata, just a series of mock fights. There were no breaks in time and no fixed time limits. Even when he couldn't catch his breath, Isaac would poke at Ysellus with his large sword, still in its sheath.
Icelus knows that it's not an attack or anything, just a push. But he can't duck it, and he can't stop his own body from being rolled around like a javelin if he receives it. The fight will continue as long as I am still strong, and when I start to feel like I am suffocating, I will fall to the ground and take a break.
There is no explanation of kata or theory, so I don't even know how to swing the sword. The difference in arms, of course, but there is so much difference in basic physical performance between the eight-year-old "earthling" Yserus and Isaac, who has fought in large scale battles (raids), that we don't even know if the gap has narrowed or grown apart. That being said, it was hard to tell if he was better or worse than he was with the attack he just had and the attack he just had.
The training with Isaac was one of the most rigorous in the group that Ycelus had ever tasted. But it didn't bother Ycelus one bit.

'Hoi,'
Oh.
Isaac's sheathed greatsword moved before he knew it, and the feeling disappeared from Iserus' hand. A twirling sound of the wind cutting in the space behind him and the wooden sword bounced off.
Icelus lost his balance as he tried to look up and fell down and looked up at the sky.
He couldn't get up because his breathing was so out of control.
"Isaac, you're-- huh. Ha.
Take a break. It's okay, just lie down and catch your breath.
"Yes. Ha, ha.
You're weak.
Yes.....
As expected, it made me feel sad, even as Ycelus, when he said it clearly. I'm so tired I can't even move, but a sinking voice comes out.
'Oh well, what is it. "Oh well, don't be so downhearted. All of you Daichijin are weak, so you won't know the difference.
Okay.
Icelus chuckles at the concern. The wind is soft to the touch and the sun is warm. The tricolor violets (pansies) are swaying in this courtyard as well. Iserus felt gentle and spoke to Isaac.
''Is everyone in the Order also weak from your point of view, Isaac?
Oh. That's weak. Not good enough.
Mm. How do I get stronger?
'What? You don't have to be too strong, do you?
Icelus protested that Isaac's line was irresponsible. Iserus, who might eventually become a lord, would have to hone his sword skills, or even his riding skills.
'Your guts are more important. You'll find your strength sooner or later.
Isaac didn't fight for it, but flushed it out and rifled through the storage bag on his hip, pulling out an unbent dagger about twenty-five centimeters long and tossing it easily to Iserus.

''Here, use that,''
Eh....
Icelus spun around and stared at the dagger that fit perfectly in his palm, and he immediately realized that it was of tremendous value. As a nobleman, Yserus is more familiar with armor than the average common man.
You'll be able to get a good idea of what you're looking for. But even these swords have been handed down in the Corwin family of the Earthmen. After the catastrophe, equipment made by the Adventurers flowed into Maihama, and weapons were no exception, but in this world, there are different levels at which items of equipment are created and at which they are appropriate. This is why items made by top-notch adventurer craftsmen are not the kind of items that flow onto the market. At the very least, Yserus had heard that from Saraliya.
I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to use it. The sword's skill will improve if you can learn to use it.
The Sword of the Adventurer? It's so expensive.
 That's right.
This dagger must be very expensive.
Isaac may not understand it because he's an adventurer with no common sense and is a bit rough around the edges, but he could buy a house in Maiama with this one sword. The sword obviously has a strong glow to it that would captivate Iserus, but Iserus still had to ask Isaac with a strangled voice.
 Icelus loved Isaac.
He loves this huge warrior who is cheerful and rough and doesn't care about the details. That's why I've never once felt bad about being subjected to such rigorous training.
It's not always. It's your birthday, man. I mean, a man can't have a thing like that, you know. Bikes, armor, and so on. You don't get excited about it, all right?
Isaac, you're out of your mind with regard to money.
I don't know what a motorcycle is, but Icelus felt warm in his chest and could handle it. I said something unsympathetic to hide my embarrassment, but I couldn't help but feel my cheeks loosen up. It would have been a pathetic smile for a boy.
'You don't want it? Wow. Give it back, here.
It was a lie that he was too exhausted from training to move a single fingertip.
He spun around holding his sword and said, "Wow! No. I'm so happy! The Dagger of the Adventurer! Thank you! I thanked him. What is this coat of arms? I took a closer look and found the inscription "Tara" and the impression of a small "Black Sword". This dagger is a custom-made one, matching Isaac and his friends! You can thank me for being honest like that. Totally.
Hmm. Ah.
What's going on?
After circling around several times, Ycelus pointed to the sky as if he were jumping up and down.
Ahead of him was the shadow of a single horseman galloping through the thin, cloudy spring sky. The familiar shape was the same as the one Isaac had shown him, and Yserus called out honestly.
''It's the 'Eagle Lion' (Gryphon).
Ah. Someone from the round table? So that's Miss Liese. Did you bring the princess to the unveiling?
Isaac, you need to go take a bath.
You're a pain in the ass.
Come to think of it, tonight was the night of the unveiling party.
Suddenly remembering this, Icelus pushed Isaac away behind his waist as if he were going to hit him. The shadow of the Eagle Lion is approaching fast and furious. If my sister is in that one, we may not have much time left to get ready.
'No, sir. There's even a woman looking for a groom for the feast!
All right. Okay, really, you're only skinny on that part.
Icelus is a bit of a jerk to Isaac, but he keeps looking at the dagger in his waistband. This is a precious treasure. This is the proof that you learned to use a sword from Isaac.
'You need to clean up behind your ears too.
Icelus walked into the mansion to hug his favorite Isaac.
