Major Provinces

Province of Tranquia

A province located almost west of Nova Lemuria. It was a military lifeline for the Lemurian Empire, as it bordered the Kingdom of Bulgalon.
However, it was not economically prosperous due to the threat of the Bulgaron Kingdom nearby.
The main industries were olives, grapes, and marble.

The industry is not so different from that of Tranquia.

It has a desert climate, but the Neil River makes it very fertile.
It is the largest breadbasket of the Lemurian Empire, and is home to wheat, barley, cotton, sugar, rice, coffee, and other agricultural products, as well as luxury goods (spices, etc.) imported from abroad.
It is the most economically important province in the region.

The most economically important province in the region, located to the west of Misr.
Although it has a desert climate, the coastal area is rich in soil and is one of the most important granaries of the Lemurian Empire.

Along with Misrule, it is a fertile crescent region, and its agricultural productivity is as high as that of Misrule.
It is also a very important place economically, with trade goods flowing from the Kingdom of Farus.
However, this also means that it is constantly targeted by the Kingdom of Phallus.
If the province of Suria is taken, the Lemurian Empire will be torn in two, north and south. The Achilles' heel of the Lemurian Empire.

Anatolicon Province

A province in the eastern part of Nova Lemuria.
Although mountainous, the land is reasonably fertile, and its proximity to the capital makes it an important granary.
It is bordered by the Kingdom of Phars and is militarily important. ...... However, it has not been exposed to warfare because the Kingdom of Phars is more likely to target the Province of Suria than the Province of Anatolicon.

The Kingdom of Hayastan

A province of the Lemurian Empire, located to the east of Anatolicon.
The land is reasonably fertile, but it is a tragic land that is often targeted.
Recently, however, the land has become more stable as it has become a member of the Lemurian Empire.
The economy seems to be doing well due to the export of grain to Nova Lemuria.

It also conducts transit trade between the Lemurian Empire and the Kingdom of Fars, which is quite profitable. (The Lemurian Empire and the Kingdom of Fars have high tariffs on each other's trade, but they are kept low on trade to the Kingdom of Khayastan, so in some cases it is more profitable than trading directly.

Taurica Province

Agriculture

A large part of the Lemurian Empire's income comes from agriculture, and almost all of its citizens are engaged in farming.
This is the norm in this world, however.

The main agricultural products are wheat, which is the staple food, and barley, rye, and oats, which are substitutes for wheat.
Then there are grapes to produce wine, essential for the food culture of the Lemurian Empire and for Messianic rituals.
Then there is olive oil, an indispensable cooking oil.

In addition to this, in recent years, soybeans have been introduced in some parts of the province of Misr for use as oil, grain and fodder.
Rice has been introduced in parts of the Misr region.
Fruits such as oranges and lemons are also grown.

Coffee, sugar (sugar cane and sugar beet), cotton, and tea are also important commodity crops.

Livestock

After agriculture, animal husbandry is the most important industry. The main animals raised in the Lemurian Empire are as follows

Pigs: ...... In the Lemurian Empire, the word "meat" refers to pork. In the Lemurian Empire, the word "meat" refers to pork, but only in the western part of the Empire, in Nova Lemuria, Tranquia, and Pelosonia. This is because in the eastern part of the Empire, in the provinces of Suria and Misr, there is a culture that abhors pork.
The reason for this is unclear, but ...... probably because there were few forests in Suria and Misr, and not enough acorns to feed the pigs, so in order to fatten them up quickly, they had to be fed barley and other grains, the same food as humans. In other words, pigs had to be fed the same food as humans.

Unlike pigs, sheep are raised almost everywhere in the empire. The main use of sheep is wool, followed by meat. Nowadays, improved breeds of sheep that can produce high quality wool are being introduced, and the overall quality of wool in the Lemurian Empire is improving.

The basic purpose of goats ...... is to collect milk and goat milk. In the Lemurian Empire, the term "milk" often refers to goat's milk. Only the wealthy could drink cow's milk.

Chickens ...... are mainly used for eggs. Of course, it is also used as meat. There is no farmer who does not raise chickens.

Rabbits...... for meat and fur. Many farmers raise rabbits for pocket money.

Cattle...... are used for three purposes: meat, milk, and animal power, but basically they are used for animal power. The less affluent rural communities raise cattle together and use them to cultivate the fields. Milk and beef are for the wealthy and are raised mainly in the vicinity of large cities.

Horses ...... are important livestock for powering farmland, as vehicles for logistics, and as important military weapons. Currently, Hercule is actively encouraging the breeding of horses.
However, this is not going very well. This is because sheep have already been grazing in the areas where horses can be grazed.
Therefore, the incorporation of the Bulgaron Kingdom has been quite helpful for Hercule in terms of horse production.
Incidentally, horses consume more food than cattle, so only wealthy farmers can use horses to plow fields as animal power.

Donkeys ...... are an alternative to horses. However, as a spoiled horse, they are better than horses in some cases.

Camels ...... are used in desert areas and in the Misr province. Camel milk is a luxury item. The meat is considered a delicacy.

Mining

The Lemurian Empire has a large territory, and most mineral resources can be extracted.
The province of Anatolikon is particularly rich in mineral resources, with gold, silver, copper, and iron available for mining.
There are also veins of gold in the newly added province of Dacia.

However, since precious stones cannot be mined, many of them must be imported.

Handicraft

The handicraft industry of the Lemurian Empire is centered in the city of Nova Lemuria.
The main industries are as follows

Liquor ...... is mainly wine. There is also barley wine. Rice wine is currently under development. The wine of the Lemurian Empire is highly regarded throughout the world, and is drunk not only in the West, but also in the Kingdom of Phars.

Oil: ...... Mainly olive oil. Recently, soybean oil and cottonseed oil are also produced. Most of the demand is for domestic consumption, but the surplus is exported. It is also highly valued.

In addition to the ancient wool, cotton and silk are produced. In addition to the traditional wool, cotton and silk are produced. It is currently a rapidly growing industry.

Glass: ...... Glasswork called Lemurian glass. Glasswork called Lemurian glass. It competes with the falsework produced in the Kingdom of Fals. It is exported to western countries, and most of the window glass in western countries is produced in Lemuria.

Ceramics: ...... Originally, the Lemurian Empire had a ceramics industry, which competed with the ceramics industry of the Kingdom of Phallus. In recent years, the Lemurian Empire has gained an advantage over the Kingdom of Phars due to the development of bone ash porcelain.
