The five-and-a-half nickel steel that Jin often uses to make relatively inexpensive golems contains, as the name implies, 5.5 percent nickel and has high toughness.
It also has improved properties, especially at low temperatures.
Brittle skeletons are difficult to handle, so Jin uses this alloy.
