2 - A brave man was laughing in the circle where I was supposed to be.Today is...

Early in the morning I went to the Adventurers' Guild to meet the brave men for the first time.

Of course, I wasn't told that the brave men were coming, so I pretended I didn't know.

"Nice to meet you. I'm very honored to be participating in the S-class party Graela as a trial. I will do my best to show you what I can do.

Our party was named after the village where I grew up.

The village we grew up in, Graela, was near the castle of the Demon King, so there were few tourists and it was almost unknown.

The brave man was a very polite person.

"A brave man is going to participate? That's great Isaac."

Isaac glanced at me once, clicked his tongue, and said nothing more.

He greeted each of us politely, as if to change the atmosphere.

Emmy and Cara said that God was too favorably disposed to give a gift to such a beautiful woman, but God was not pleased with their beauty. But I can understand why God would favor them because of their beauty. He was also flattering them.

There was a time when I thought Emmy and Kara had pretty faces, but recently I have learned that there are more important things than faces.

Kid came up to me and pointed to his luggage.

"Hey, servant, this is my luggage. Don't handle it roughly. There are valuables in there you can't buy with your money."

I take back what I said before. He's a total prick.

"Mr. Kidd, Locke is not a servant."

 Emmy's very protective of me.

"Oh, really? And you're making them all carry their own luggage, too, aren't you? And obviously you don't need something like a dress to go on an adventure."

"Emmy, don't tell Mr. Kidd anything he doesn't already know. I don't care what you do with Locke. Let's just get the hell out of here."

Kara, not wanting the blame to fall on her, dropped the subject.

Of course, Kid would have been tempted to respond.

"Yeah, I'm going to go now, but let me check on Kid's gear just in case."

Isaacs called out to the hero, who pulled out the sword at his waist.

"Isaac, don't worry. I have this sword that the king gave me.

The sword the Kid pulls out looks quite old, but it is very well made. It is a sword worthy of being called a great sword.

 However, .......

"Is there a slight crack at the base of the sword?"

The sword was very nice, but it looks like it has not been well taken care of. He probably didn't take care of it because it's so sharp.

"Shut your mouth! My sword is not cracked. This is the sword the king gave me that can kill a dragon! If you're going to spend all your time trying to ruin my reputation, why don't you do something useful yourself?"

All you do is get in the way."

Isaac looks at me like I'm a dead fish.

I knew I couldn't be too careful in the dungeon I was about to enter.

Even the best swords wear out.

But the Kid was overconfident in the sword's power and Isaac praised it to please the Kid. For a while, the Kid bragged about receiving the sword from the king.

When the conversation was over, Isaac called out to him.

"All right! Let's get fired up!"

Now that I've joined, you're going to have to think like you're in a big boat.

Let's just get this over with and use the money we make to buy new clothes.

I'll take care of the magic."

I watched from a distance as the four of them worked up the nerve.

As a matter of course, there was no room for me.

The brave newcomer to the group today was smiling happily. I should have been there.

Not only Isaac, but Emmy and Kara don't seem to care about me at all.

I'm not wanted at this party anymore.

I guess it's really over for me today.

I look at the circle and think about everything I've done.

I had tried to do my best for everyone.

But it seems that my efforts were in vain.

I could do my best because I was with you in the good times and the bad times.

My dream was to support everyone's dream.

But it seems that I can no longer be there to cheer them on.

I could only try my best to hold back the tears that were threatening to overflow from my eyes at the thought that today would be my last day.
