6 - Fenril with a plump flavor?

"Okay then, let's get the hell out of here."

----Yeah. The question is, will I be able to escape?

The only way to find out is to walk up to the entrance and see what it's like.

When I try to walk there, Lucky gets down in front of me.

----The sooner we get there, the better. Get on my back.

"Thanks. That helps."

Lucky's back was warm as the sun, smelled good, and was soft and fuzzy.

"Lucky's back feels so good. It's like being hugged by your parents when you were little."

------ Rock is a spoiled brat. I'll take you to the exit in a minute so you can relax.

I put my arms around Lucky's neck.

 Lucky runs like a gale.

On the way to the stairs we find the body of a dead monster.

"Lucky, stop!"

----"Lucky, stop. I thought we were getting out of here in a hurry. ----

"Yeah, that's fine, but the demons in this dungeon fetch a pretty penny."

----You mean to say ...... you've been after my body from the beginning? ----

"Lucky?"

----......Nothing--

Lucky scratches his cheek with his paw and looks somewhat uncomfortable.

"Demon corpses can fetch a pretty good price. The meat is tasty too. I'll collect some for the box yard and use it to pay for the trip."

--What? Is it delicious? I'd love to try it.

I got off my lucky, touched the corpse of the demon, and chanted to the box garden, and the corpse disappeared into the box garden. This is very useful.

----Oh, that's great. It is very convenient that I can collect the corpse into the box garden by myself. But please don't let the inside of the box yard be filled with the smell of death. If possible, I would like to have a place where I can wash it off with water.

Lucky has a very specific suggestion.

I don't know how to spread it out, but there must be some way to do it.

"I'd like to see if I can get it off Lucky's back, if that's okay?"

--Of course.

I get on Lucky's back and put my foot on the corpse of the monster, and the corpse of the monster pops off at once.

All that was left was a red stain on the wall.

------Wrong. I made a mistake.

"A monster's corpse is blown up just because you made a mistake in addition or subtraction. ......"

 I'm really glad I didn't get jostled.

Just a little jostling would have killed it instantly.

I look at Lucky with a stern stare, and he looks a little panicked,

------It's all right. I'll be fine next time.

Lucky tried a second time, and this time his gentle touch flattened him as if compressed, and he was retrieved into the box yard.

The meat was now too flabby.

"Lucky!"

----Wrong. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

"Well, now that we know we can collect the meat, we'll collect it even if it gets crushed."

--Oh, I'm sure we'll get it right eventually.

I climbed on Lucky's back and retrieved the demons into the box yard.

At first it didn't go well, but then he got the hang of it and was able to get a handle on it.

------Rock, look at this. You've grown up so much! I can do it. The trick is to touch it with your fingernail like this. ......----

Lucky says this, touches the monster, and it pops up again.

Is there a bomb in Lucky's hand?

--Wow!

Lucky's sad voice echoes through the dungeon.

"Alright, alright. Let's go to the entrance. Turn right there."

--Rock, this is a long way around, okay? ----

"Yeah, I know, but... I thought it would be a pain in the ass to have to kill all those demons.

Lucky looks a little surprised as I lead him down the path.

----I see. You must be pretty good at rock climbing. I've never seen so few demons.

We make it to the stairs in less than half the time it took us to get here.

Lucky is strong, but it's faster not to fight the demons.

We'll just end up as minced corpses if we fight them.

"What do you think? "How do you think we're going to get out of here?"

When Lucky comes to the stairs, there is something like a wall. Lucky's paw pushes against the wall and is crushed.

------This has been a short relationship. Looks like we're done here, Rock. I'm glad you asked me out.

"No, no, no, it's too early to give up. Lucky, get in the box yard."

Lucky enters the box yard, and as I approach the stairs, I feel some sort of resistance, but it's not like I'm being interrupted.

"Lucky, it's okay. You can get out."

Lucky steps out of the box garden onto the stairs.

Thank you for ----rock ....... Now we can see the world together.

"Great. So ...... is a way for you to celebrate getting out. Can I borrow your collar for a second?"

----Okay, but it's mine. I'm not giving it to you. Not on Locke's neck.

"Who's going to put it on? And it's too big! I have a skill that lets me put blessings on equipment. Since we're going out there, I'll put a blessing on his collar. It'll make me more physically fit than ever."

--Yeah, that's what he said. I'm not so easily fooled.

I put the blessing on Lucky's collar and put it around his neck again.

This should increase his basic strength while I'm around.

------ What the heck is this? I feel so much lighter and my movements are more sharp!

"That's good. Now let's get the hell out of here and head back to town.

Lucky and I were dashing through the dungeon with the wind in our sails.

We even retrieved some demons along the way, but needless to say Lucky was barking and howling again as he bounced off of them.
