Although we told the mayor that we would check out the mines in the morning, shortly after nightfall, I, Aria and Ojado set out.
The other three?
Even though we tried to call in, we couldn't get in touch with either Mary-sensei or Tai Shi's side, so we didn't know what they were tossing around.
Never mind, it doesn't matter.
After following the path on the map to a mountain not far away, we arrived at the entrance of the mine in less than 15 minutes.
The mine was already deserted at this point, and from the rusty entrance gate and the half-collapsed supports, we could tell that this place had been... no, probably no one had been here for a long time.

"Ojado."
"Well? What's wrong brother?"
"You're good to watch the door in case they escape while we're not looking."
I said so after thinking it over.
It can't be helped, Aria and I are still fine with it, but if the mine collapses... there's no way Oyado can escape.
"Brother~ How can you do that! How can I protect you if I don't follow my brother's side!"
"Protection? This...I'm so not going to be able to use it, right?"
"Why not use it! Anything that tries to hurt my brother, I'll destroy it! Could it be that...brother wants to go on a solo adventure with Aria-san!"

I looked like Alicia and noticed that she seemed very happy and smiled.

With a helpless sigh, I reached out and pulled open the rust-covered door.
The entire door actually detached itself from the door, and I fell backwards, the entire door falling straight to the floor.

Oyado said with a flourish.
Entering inside the mine, I used a light illumination spell directly, and white light illuminated the inside of the mine all at once.
"Oh!"
All of us were taken aback when we saw what the inside looked like.
Compared to that small entrance, the inside of the mine was very wide, some abandoned excavation machines were pushed up on the side, and it looked...as if it already had the beginnings of mechanization.
Looking around, there were three more different passageways being made where the light couldn't shine through, and the passageways were so deep that light couldn't reach the end of it.
"Hey, what a place for a selective OCD outbreak, let's go that way?"
"Left."
"Right."
They both said almost simultaneously.
"........"
I looked at Ojado and then at Alicia.
"Let's go in the middle then."
I said directly.
"How can I!"
"Yeah, obviously the right side is better!"
"No, it's left!"
"Why the left!"
"Because the left side looks so safe!"
"So how can you tell!"
"The cave on the right is obviously dangerous with the smell of blood wafting out of it, of course."
"The smell of blood?"
When I heard Oyado say that, I immediately looked to the right of the hole.
"That's a display, isn't it? Since there's blood over there, there must be a clue..."
"Evil..."
Suddenly, a strange scream came from the depths of the mine.
All of us looked deeper into the cave, and after a long time, a large red name suddenly appeared in the cave to our right!
"Well, guys, it looks like they've brought us a nice gift."
"Great, it's been so free lately."
With the two flaming short swords drawn, Alicia's eyes were filled with excitement as she looked in the direction of the enemy's arrival.
"Then let's have some fun~"
