"That [Makuhari Academy]... Could it be that it's talking about the building on top of that mountain across the street?"
From the edge of the forest, we looked out over the city and the mountains in the middle of it.
And of course, the buildings that defy physics and float in mid-air at the top of the mountains.
As to why we were at the edge of the forest, of course it was because a group of us had rushed too fast and ended up inside the forest.
But with our nimble evasive abilities, we decided to just go straight through with the general direction and didn't stop until we rushed out of the forest and saw that target city.
"Well, that should be right, the name of the city is called Broken Sky City."
Mary-sensei said as she took out her notebook and looked at it.
Can't you write down the names of all the things you have to do as a teacher for those few things?
"Broken Sky City? What a simple and easy to understand name...but there's something wrong with that mountain anyways, right? What's with that building floating in midair? And what about those rocks near Load Mountain? Isn't that a complete disregard for the laws of physics?"
"Phil don't you ever play games like fairy tinkering? Aren't there many rocks on top of mountains that would float very unscientifically in mid-air?"
"Well... that's true, I see... but those people actually built the academy on top of a floating rock... that's just not science."
"...How long are you going to just obsess about science anyway?"
"Obviously a scientist but not paying attention to science, really...well, it doesn't matter just yet."
Taking one more look at the city from a distance, I then asked.
"So what are we doing here? Just visiting?"
"Pretty much theoretically on top of that, visiting, sparring, and learning from each other."
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, sparring is fighting, right?"
"Exactly."
"That's really something to look forward to,"
"You bastard...but you know we expected to arrive in about a week and a half, so..."
"And so now no one comes to greet us?"
"That's pretty much what it feels like."
"Oh my god...okay, White Moonlight, Tai Shih, and Black Laurie? You guys must be familiar with the Eastern Continent, right? Do you know of any places around here we could hang out?"
"Haven't been here."
"Don't know."
"Stroll?"
The three men's responses were really quite different.
"Well, all in all, it's not a good idea for a group of us to stand in this place, so let's hurry up and go inside the city."
Seeing this situation, I could only say helplessly.
"En, and in order to save on travel expenses, I'll just go inside the academy and talk to their academy director."
"I didn't think that Mary-sensei would really have a teacher's style at a time like this."
"Nonsense, the rest of these travel expenses are my salary for this month."
"........"
Give me my touch back.
Just kidding, I'm not moving for this guy.

Sure enough, the familiar walls that I saw once I arrived near the city.
Of course this familiarity wasn't because I had seen it here, but rather this kind of wall with oriental architectural features I had already seen in countless games.
I've also seen it in real life, I'm an Asian after all, but since I seem to have both Japanese and Chinese in my memory, I don't know what it is.
But to be honest, this Broken Sky City also made it hard for me to tell if it was considered Eastern or Oriental, because there were people selling sushi in the city, but there were still quite a few merchants selling spell charms, candy canes, and the like.
Well, it seems that the difference between the East and the East is not that big in the Eastern Continent, probably because of the frequent trade?
After all, there were mountains and oceans separating the eastern and western continents, but the eastern continent wasn't like the previous world, where Japan and China were still separated by oceans and such.
"That's pretty nostalgic,"
White Moonlight said looking around the circle.
"How many months has it been since you've been back?"
"Sebastian's just craving sushi again, isn't he?"
A black Lori laughed on the side.
"Che, don't you want to eat?"
"I just want to eat the pills."
"Eat it anyway!"
Well, you two continue to struggle with eating, I'd like to see what new skill books are available around here, and replenishing some oriental skills can't hurt anyway.
But....
Turning to the rest of the group the only people left were Alicia, Pure White, Ojado and Lois.
The others?
Tai Shixi and Mary-sensei had gone to the academy, and Bai Yueguang and Black Lori, who knows where they went to show their love, d*mn it.
"Anyway, I'm going to go see what books I have to read first, so you guys just..."
"Huh? You want to escape?"
Alicia said with a forked tongue.
"How can a girl go shopping without a boy to protect her, so you don't get away with it!"
"........"
I didn't follow them because of the sword in her hand!
