204-Chapter 3 Strong Yaling

Chapter 3 - Strong Arlene
GG3
Raising the goodwill between the people of the Chelfa Kingdom and myself... I was planning to slaughter the city, it's really subtle.
But I'm already a "revered Chelfar", so if I raise my status, will they think I'm the king?
Forget it, I don't want it, I don't like strategy games or I wouldn't have left the middle hallway to be managed by someone else.
I can't help but sigh a bit as I look at my taskbar prompt.
The princess-sama in front of me was in deep thought, probably torn between her own ethics and the greater good, after all, the other party was still her father.
"I say ah."
After a while, Princess Silhouette raised her head to look at me.
"Are you sure... that you can deal with father's [Purgatory Praetorian Guard]?"
"How strong is it?"
"Well, very strong, I was with their captain before, and the other one split my sword off."
"Oh..."
Princess, do you know that at 7, I can probably break your sword with my bare hands?
"And compared to the guards?"
"That's much stronger too! Basically three moves and they're defeated."
Guards are only level 12, three moves... Well, I'll just guess those Praetorians are level 20.
"Well, it's not a problem, but other than that is there anything else I should be aware of?"
"Will you answer so lightly, those guys are scary!"
"I don't think it's a problem, though I'd still have to see it in person to find out."
"That's right, that's fine!"
After saying that, Princess Silly stood up, then went to a nearby cabinet, pulled open the top row of books, and removed a Muppet from the back.
"Follow!"
Then tossed it to me.
"This is the doll I was talking about in that quest, so take it and go straight to the guard at the gate and say you found it. Then I can give you permission to officially enter the palace."
"Good idea, but then wouldn't I be the most suspicious person if anything happened to the palace?"
"Hmph~ You'll see then that absolutely nothing will happen inside my scheme."
"Is that so..."
"Can't you just trust me, Princess! Really."
I'm sorry, but as much as I want to believe you, your rank, and the princesses I know are telling me with the truth that princesses are very unreliable creatures.
"Okay, okay, I believe that, but I have to finish something else first before I can do that, but I should be coming to you in a few hours."
"It'll be dark in a few hours."
Princess said looking at the sky.
"So what?"
I spread my hands.
"Really...are you planning on rubbing it in with dinner?"
"What a great idea!"
"...Okay."
The princess greatly sort of looked like she had given up, then returned to her table.
"Then hurry up and go do your thing! Really!"
"Well, well, well, let's say goodbye~"
After saying that, I once again launched [Stalking Shadow] and disappeared into the observation deck with a flash.
Ten seconds later, however, the location where I appeared was inside the tower on the west side of the palace.
There was no door at the entrance to the ground level of this tower, but there was an iron gate with a lock leading to the top.
So I went straight through the soldiers guarding the entrance to the tower.
And the lock... it's by no means a lock to me, it's just a decorative thing.
I didn't even bother to take out the lock unlocking thing, I just used my unlocking skill on the lock head and the door lock just clicked open.
I took a glance at the guards below who hadn't noticed yet, and quickly entered the top room.
"You guys..."
Before Arlene, who was inside the room, could speak, I quickly closed the door and flashed next to her.
She was still wearing her usual armor at this point, and her face, covered by a mask, looked at me with tired eyes in surprise.
"Arlene, long story short, I'll get you out of here in a little while, but now is not the time. In order to keep you safe, this magic resonance warning device, and the [Ice Empire Garden]'s defensive magic scroll you take for now, once there is danger, use it then call... me..."
Before I could finish, Arlene hugged me fiercely!
"Phil! It's Phil, isn't it!"
"En...en!"
"Sure enough...I knew you'd come to my rescue!"
Arlene's voice was so cryptic that you could feel her tears flowing through her clothes.
"That...I'm sorry for getting you locked up here."
"No..."
Arlene shook her head.
"I'm satisfied that you're here."
"I'm sorry..."
d*mn it, was I really making the right decision in the first place?
Or is it...?
"That, for your future safety, I will destroy the king."
"No!"
Arlene grabbed my shoulder and said.
"We just have to escape! Killing the king isn't such an easy task!"
"For everyone else it is, not for me, and I've already talked to Princess Silhouette and she's willing to help."
"Silhouette she..."
Silly wiped her own tears and looked down to think.
"If you're all so determined, then I can't just get frustrated! Okay, so what do I need to do?"
"Let's see..."
After looking around the room, I continued.
"After I leave you'll block the door with a bookshelf and something other than the bed, unless they force their way in, then use the props I gave you.
After that I'll come in through the little window over there, don't worry."
I said pointing to the small window above.
"I'll see you later, take care of yourself."
"En! Got it!"
Arlene looked much more refreshed and I smiled in relief before quickly exiting through the door and locking it.
After darting out to the street, I looked at the tower again and then quickly walked to the shopping street.
"Next, the information."
