Chapter 43 - The Rise of the Devil Beast Chapter 33 Devil...
GG3
I don't know if it's because of environmental protection or some other reason, but we actually followed the Elf Queen at a fast pace for such a long distance.
This efficiency is really low ah, I am too embarrassed to use acceleration and other magic, had to follow to speed up the pace to keep up.
After all, people, the Queen, are walking at a fast pace....
Ten minutes later, we arrived at the elven city that I had reached in human form earlier.
The feeling of looking from the center of the city to the side was different than looking down from the surrounding area.
It felt like arriving at a concentration camp for environmentalists, with the towering towering trees around us and the passageways that crossed back and forth between the trees structuring the city into an otherworldly environment.
It was nice, this felt so much better than the steel and concrete I remembered, and it was a lot more imposing than the completely stone castles of human cities, but it still felt full of the traces of human transformation.
"This is the Elf Outer Metropolis - Linxin."
Erik next to me whispered to me, feeling like her human language was starting to get better and better, that's really fast progress, it's worthy of being the race with the highest IQ on earth.
Although I know that Elvish is very similar to Latin, but... how could someone like me who just knows how to play games hahaha every day learn that kind of language.
After all, I'm not an exorcist or anything.
"Don't just stare, please hurry up and follow me."
Hearing Erik's words, I came back to my senses and found that they had already walked next to a very imposing looking building.
It was said to be very imposing, but it was actually the decoration on it that looked completely different from the tree house next to it. Various colors of magic crystals were set on top of what looked like a very expensive metal facade, and although I didn't know what kind of metal it was, since it was used to set magic crystals, it definitely wasn't a cheap item.
As if prying away!
I looked over at Alicia, who also had a green light in her eyes, but she lowered her head to suppress her gaze or we would definitely be thrown back inside the prison.
Quickly walking towards the building, under the curious gazes of the many elves around us, we entered the building.
The inside of the building was very simple, and simply put, there was a large round wooden table in the middle.
There were several dragon carvings around the wooden table, but not being an otherworldly biologist, I had no idea what kind of creatures they were.
"Please sit."
Said the elf queen herself very directly to the top seat, and with a wave of her hand, a kettle next to her burned itself underneath.
I looked at what was placed next to it...was this guy actually planning to make tea?
I find as a sit down and then look around.
What should I say....
Usually the elf queen is surrounded by at least some guards or some sort of auxiliary officer, right? Why haven't I seen anyone but Erik so far?
"Never mind, I hate those kinds of disgusting rows, and it's not a good time of day. Let's cut the bullshit and get right to our topic."
A hot-headed elf queen, really, but I like it, being human should be less bullshit and more action.
"You said that you tracked the beasts that suddenly started attacking the human world and then found out that they came from our forest sea, right?"
"Yes."
I nodded.
"I see, so that means someone has an ulterior motive for transporting the beasts of the forest sea to the human world... Well, no wonder the actions from the dark elves have become more frequent lately... It's because the beasts we used to defend ourselves were stolen."
"Stolen? That means you have a way to control those beasts?"
"Yes."
The Elf Queen nodded, then pulled her necklace out.
"It's a beast flute that can be used to give commands to beasts in different tones."
"In that case, I've clarified one thing."
"What is it?"
"Those beasts didn't just randomly attack human cities, but attacked them in an organized manner. You should understand what that means, right?"
"Someone is using the Beast Flute to attack the human metropolis... it seems that someone is trying to trigger a battle between humans and elves, and... the dark elves have become more frequent lately, so 80% of them have something to do with it. "
"It seems we may have the same enemy, but before that, one more thing to ask, do you know anything about the orcs over there?"
"Orcs? There's barely any movement, is there? What's going on?"
"No, I'm just curious, shouldn't orcs generally be the ones controlling the beasts? So..."
"Oh, you're referring to something like that. Orcs they are a race that can control beasts just like us, but what, they control all wild beasts, like the Dark Mad Lion and such, while we all control some of the combat nature-based beasts."
"For example, the Hell Spider Flower, the Storm Giant Eagle?"
"Yes... it seems you met them."
"Well they attacked a human city and caused a lot of casualties, and it took the human soldiers and mercenaries working together to repel them, but the difference in rank between the beasts and the humans was so great that if there were more of them, the humans might not have been able to stop them."
"I'm very sorry."
The Elf Queen said with apologies.
"Although we are using magical beasts for our protection, we have little to no systematic management of magical beasts. This matter regarding the decrease in the number of magical beasts was also reported to me by one of the guards last night. At first, I was worried if some dark elves had secretly killed those magical beasts, but when I heard Erik's report today, I immediately connected the two things."
"You're really perceptive, Queen."
"Call me Sylvina, you've helped us out of our troubles, and we'll treat you like guests. I've also heard from Erik before, when she was taken as a slave before, you were also the ones who rescued her, you're not a little bit kind to the elves."
"Where, just helping out in passing."
I looked over at Erik, but she was giggling happily all by herself.
"But I wonder if you've got any ideas on how to stop those beasts from continuing to go to the human world, Queen Sylvina? If we don't solve this problem, sooner or later the human cities will be destroyed."
It wasn't that serious, but it wouldn't hurt to say it.
"Of course."
The Elf Queen nodded.
"Those old guys will be here this afternoon, and when they go with you to the place where you showed up, they'll probably know what's going on."
