28-Episode 28 Solved

What would be a good way?

Can a ten-year-old Lysia come up with a solution to this kind of troublesome story?

There would be politics involved in breaking up these fights. It's not surprising that she would come up with far more than the usual adult politics.

''As for this case, it would mean that both sides are equally bad for failing to take measures to prevent trouble from happening. Therefore, I think it's only right that Ars-sama should say that both of them are bad and stop them, but that doesn't mean that they could have stopped the conflict completely. It would result in a lump being left behind, so there is a chance that the conflict could happen again, and perhaps even cause the Rovent family itself to be distrusted.

This idea is the same as mine.

There's probably no convenient way for both of us to get out of this time without losing money. That's why I think we're in this much trouble. So, if Mr. Ars-sama first says that both sides are bad, and then presents a way to reduce the losses of both sides as much as possible, I think the lump will be lessened.

Do you offer a way to reduce your losses?
Okay, you have a point. Both of them probably know they are at fault, but the reason they are still so passionate about it is because the damage is so great.

The suppliers will lose a lot of money if the only money they get is up front, and the cabinetmakers are losing money because they're not only getting paid up front, but also because they're missing out on a great opportunity in business.
I'm sure there are other materials for the heating system, and the blueprints were not obtained for free. When I think about it, if I don't make it, I'll lose a lot of money. It's not hard to understand why they would at least try to get the money back up front.

''The way I see it, I'll have my suppliers barter the sound magic stone for the fire magic stone.

Hmmm, well I don't know, but there may be a reason for this.

 Circumstances.....
I'll think about it for a while.

 Ah, I see.

The suppliers probably bought the sound magic stone at a much higher price than the market price.

The furniture craftsmen would have quoted the purchase price with the intention of buying the flame magic stone.
And the flame magic stone should be more expensive than the sound magic stone. I don't know what the sound magic stone is used for, but I don't think the price would have been higher than the flame magic stone, at least in this cold season, which can be used as a material for heating equipment.

The price that the furniture makers offered for the flame magic stone was mistakenly believed to be the purchase price of the sound magic stone by the suppliers.

In other words, the stockists thought that the furniture makers were trying to buy the sound magic stone at a far higher price than the market price.

Depending on the difference between the market price of the flame magic stone and the sound magic stone, and the amount of sound magic stones in circulation, it was no wonder that they were raking in sound magic stones at a higher price than the market price.

Then, if they sold the sound magic stones at the market price, they would lose a lot of money.

''The number of flame magic stones that we can collect by bartering is likely to be less than the number that was originally requested by the furniture craftsmen. Naturally, selling them at the same price would cause the stockists to lose a lot of money. So, if we raise the price per kilogram and let the cabinetmakers buy it, our suppliers will lose less money.
I see...

I feel that would be a big loss for the cabinetmakers, but, well, if I raise the price of the heating system, the loss would be lower.

It would be nice if I promised to buy the heating system at a slightly higher price when it's ready. We have a fireplace in the mansion, for one thing, but it would be nice to try out a new heating system.

''Well, I guess that's about all I can do. It's up to them to see if they can intercede.

We decided on a method of arbitration.

I stopped both of them from fighting and made a suggestion to stop both sides from being bad and reduce their losses, as we had decided.

The proposal was not taken in stride at first, but I managed to persuade them to take it.

In the end, we were not completely convinced, but at least we succeeded in getting both sides to put their fists down. There would be no more similar altercations.

The discussion took a long time and the sun was beginning to set. It was time to head back to the mansion and we were on our way home.

The date wasn't practically done, and it was a failure, to say the least. It helped that Lythia didn't seem to care about it, though.

I saw that Lysia had come up with a brilliant solution to the problem, and I knew that she wasn't just a ten-year-old after all. At the same time, I also thought that it was very likely that everything Lysia said and did that people liked was calculated.

Since she has so much wisdom and can read other people's emotions, it might not be surprising that she could do that much.
I even suspected that he was a reincarnated person or something like me.

''Um, how are you doing with that difficult look on your face?''
'Oh, no, I'm very sorry that we were supposed to go on a date, but it turned out that way.
No, no, no, I'm quite pleased to see such a gallant young man, Lord Arus.
'What's the dignified part? The idea for calming them down was given by Lady Lycia, and I'm not particularly concerned about.......
It's true that I was the one who proposed the idea, but in reality, it was Master Ars who convinced them. If you don't have the trust of the people of your domain, you will never be able to convince them. I've found out that you are regularly admired by all of the residents.

She is still a good kid who is good at praising people.

However, you owe Lysia a debt for this matter.

There's no indication that he's going to ask you to repay the debt now, but if you create too much of a debt to the highly ambitious Lysia, you might end up being manipulated to do whatever you want.

Even if it's impossible to pay back the debt here, I want to know a little bit about Lysia's true intentions somewhere. Otherwise, I can't very well marry her.

With that in mind, I return to the mansion alongside Lysia.

In the course of our conversation on the way, I got a chance to find out Lysia's true intentions.

''What kind of girl do you like, Ars-sama? I'd like to have a reference.

 He asked me this question.

'Yes, I do. 'Yes, I like people who don't hide things too much. I think it's fun to be with someone who is not shy about being honest with you, and you don't have to worry about them every day.

I don't think he's going to talk to me about this, but I wanted to see if he'd be upset by it anyway, so I responded. It's not that I'm lying, it's just that I've always thought from my previous life that it would be fun to have a wife in that kind of relationship.

 Lysia was.

Okay, I'll take that as a reference.

 He replied.
I think there was a slight pause before he answered.
I just don't know if I'm upset or not.
It doesn't look like it's going to be that easy to find out what Lycia's true intentions are.

We went back to the mansion.
