36-Random baptism

I broke through the 5th layer where the steel slime was, and after that I was able to proceed safely to the 10th layer.
The 6th to 9th layer was still slime, but it wasn't as hard to fight as the steel slime.
The bomber slime on the ninth layer that explodes when attacked is dangerous, but....

''What the hell........''

There's an arrow on it, isn't there?

And so we reached the tenth level. I waited to see what would come this time, but what appeared was a stone pedestal in the center of the room. There is a roulette-like object on top.
There is a needle in the middle, and it seems to be rotating. There are arrows pointing up and down, right and left on the stand with the needle.

Do I have to push this?

I guess it's all you've got. You don't seem to have anywhere else to go.

On the pedestal, outright push! The red button is supported by a red button as if to assert that there is nowhere to go but the way we came from.
And there's nowhere else to go but the way we've come. Looking around, it doesn't seem to go anywhere, it's a dead end.
The room is square, and if you look at the walls in all three directions except for the entrance, you'll notice a thin line in the middle, which means there's an arrow that you turn to stop.
Does this mean that the direction of the arrow that stops is opened by turning it? What a pain in the ass.

Okay, I'm gonna push. I'm afraid of what might happen, so you guys be on the lookout for that.

Yes, sir.

Yeah, I'm on it.

I honestly don't want to push it too much, but I have no choice but to move on.
I pressed the button, keeping the girls alert in case something went wrong.
The roulette starts to spin and then stops to the right arrow.
The moment the arrow stopped, a gurgling sound began to come from the wall on the right, and the wall in the middle section moved downward to reveal a path.

'Awesome technology...'

You are indeed a maze.

That's a labyrinth! I wonder if this is a story that can be cleared up with....what the hell is going on here?
For now, I decided to continue on the path that came out so I could continue on.
Of course, before entering the path, I will be fully alert. Because ever since I came to this labyrinth, many unexpected things are happening.
Slimes falling from above, exploding slimes setting off a chain of explosions, and so on.
 It was a terrible experience.

''It's happening again!

You're going to have to try your luck here too, aren't you? I wonder if your brother can handle it.

Okura-dono I hope you will do your best.

After checking carefully for enemies, I continued on my way and found another similar pedestal and even a roulette table.
Hey, hey, we're even being forced to play a luck game here.....
The girls around me are looking at me very anxiously.
For some reason, I'm sure I'll be the one to spin it, but it's frustrating to have them look at me as if they're worried about me spinning it.

I turn the roulette again, this time up.
Just as before, the middle of the wall in front of me starts to move and a path is created.

"Mmm, an enemy.

You're the slime from the upper levels.

I walked into the room with caution and found three stun slimes that were on the third level. Just like the other rooms, there is a pedestal and roulette as well.
It seems that some rooms with enemies exist. I guess I was right to be on guard after all.

Deal with the slime and turn the roulette again.
This time it stops to the left to make a path on that side.

"Whoa, it's a treasure chest! ...why do we have a treasure chest?

Hmmm, if you care about it, you're going to lose.

This time there is a treasure chest, and inside it is a necklace with a jewel-like shiny stone.
Oh, it tickles my adventurous spirit to have a treasure like this. But why is this stuff here.....
I don't think anyone would go out of their way to put a treasure chest in a place like this, and I wonder what's going on.
As Estelle says, though, I'm starting to feel like I can't even think about what's going on in this labyrinth anymore.

'Is that a dead end?'

That's true, isn't it?

What does it say?

He turned the roulette and went further, this time arriving in a room that didn't even have a roulette.
There are two swords, a shield, and two wands painted on the wall. What is this?

'Wow! What, what!

'Okura-dono, Esther! We are gathering!

There was nothing special about the place, so I tried to turn back, but before I could, the entrance closed and I couldn't go back.
In addition, the ground began to shine brighter and there was an atmosphere where something was going to happen.
 Shit........was this a trap!
We're all back to back with our weapons at the ready to deal with whatever happens, so that we can see the whole thing.
Then, the moment the brilliance reached its peak, the landscape in front of us changed.

''Huh.......is this the entrance to this level?''

I think we've been brought back, don't you?

If you go to the wrong place, they'll force you back.

I was on alert and was somewhat disappointed when I was only sent back to the entrance.
I thought there would be a lot of strong enemies because of the 10 levels, but it looks like it will be a piece of cake to get through.
I'll just turn the roulette wheel and try to get to the entrance of the next level.

Oh my god... what the hell is this labyrinth?

Ummm... how many times have you done this, sir?

That's 40 times.

Since then, we've had to spin the roulette wheel 39 times to advance. We were brought back to the front of the entrance.
There are no clear enemies, and we are forced to keep on spinning the roulette wheel. I was optimistic at first, but the more times we played, the harder it got.
Has there ever been a time when it was this painful? Whoever thought this was going to be a piece of cake, don't f*ck with me!
I tried to turn the thing once to try and turn it again, but I couldn't push it because it was fixed in place with the push in.

'Esther, can't you break that wall?'

Oh, it's a wild idea, brother. It's just a bit rude to show off in the maze.

I'm tired of advancing properly anymore, so I suggest that Esther destroy the wall.
It may indeed be a sneaky way to destroy the maze and proceed as she says.
But it's the fault of the person who builds this kind of thing. I'm not to blame.

Because if you don't do this please!

I can't help it.

She put her hand to her cheek and looked troubled, but she agreed.
And, taking out the grimoire from the bag, it creates a fireball and shoots it out into the wall.
It's a good idea to be wary of the debris that will fly off when it explodes and set up a shield with me and Nol.
When it lands on the wall, the flames spread with a tremendous roar. With an explosion like this, the wall would have been destroyed for sure.

The smoke cleared and the hole destroyed by the explosion - there was no hole.
The wall that appeared was still shining as before. It's as if there is no damage.

'It's kind of frustrating that there's not a single scratch on it.

With that kind of strength, it's expected that you'll try to break it.

You're expecting someone to try to break it up and move on.....

''Mmm, so the only way to do it is through straightforward means?

This makes it pretty tougher now.
If you're going to proceed on your own, you can still only proceed at random.

'Okay, the next time we get sent back, we'll leave.

Are you leaving, sir?

Yeah, it's been a long time coming.

That's true.

It would have already been a few hours since we entered the labyrinth. I've prepared myself to stay for a few days, but it would be foolish to continue on this level.
I've already reached my goal of 10 levels, and I think it's okay to end the labyrinth search once.

I started to spin the roulette of the last 10 levels.
First to the left, then to the right, encountering slimes on the way.
I was feeling resigned to the fact that I was going to give up, but the room I reached after a few rounds of roulette was different from what I had seen before.

"Whoa, looks like I made it to the back this time.

It's a heavy door, isn't it?

These things are like bosses, you know?

I arrived at a large door that must have been made of iron.
Just looking at it makes me feel somehow intimidated.
Certainly this kind of door is a harbinger of a boss, and this is the 10th level. It's not surprising that there is an in-between boss.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to go in or not, but I decided to open the door for now and take a glimpse.
If it was a game or something like that, the moment you enter, there's no turning back and you're forced to fight, but this kind of thing is really helpful.

When I opened the door and looked in through the gap, I saw a golden slime inside. It's about the size of a cyclops.
This one is more powerful because of its width. Well, let's take a look at its status for now.

  ------
Aulum Slime Race:Slime
 Level: 70
 HP: 200,000
 MP:0
 Attack Power:4500
 Defensive Power:3000

------

 Oh I can't do this.

Nole, Esther we're going home.

Is something wrong, sir?

What's wrong with your brother that you came all the way out here and left?

He closes the door and I turn around and tell him to go back to the girls.
They look at me curiously when they hear that.

'Look at this,'

Uh... let's go home, sir.

Maybe it's a little early for us.

When I show the girls the statuses I've displayed on my phone, they react the same way I do.
Their abilities and skills are also unobtainable, and they won't be forced to fight now.
After all, I need to raise the level more and improve my status. And maybe I need to play gacha.
