59-House extension

"Huh, that's kind of a crazy easy house to get.

They were a lot cheaper than in King's Landing, weren't they?

The next day after arriving in Brunne, we went to the real estate agent and bought a house. And now the house we bought is right in front of us.
I don't know how many square meters it is exactly, but it's a normal sized house. It's a single-story house with two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a storage room and a toilet, and a living room.
It's enough for one person, but as it is, it would be tough for four people to live here.
It wasn't too far from the Adventurer's Society, and the price was pretty cheap at 7 million G. It's not on the main road, it's in a corner, but it's not too bad of a location.
It's for a house extension trial, so it doesn't have to be the worst place to live... although I'd like to live here if I could.

'I thought we'd finally have a home to own, but I don't think we'll be able to live here at this point.

It's going to be a good base of operations for the city.

However, the weeds around the house have grown considerably and even the walls are covered with grass.
The windows are also a little dirty and will need to be cleaned.
It may not be possible for everyone to be in a private room, but I think we can manage to live with our current situation.

Well....Ugh, it's still dusty.

It was an amazing sight to see, sir.

When we walked in, the dust in the house flew around because of the door being opened. We came to check out the house before we bought it, and even then the dust was terrible because of the dust that flew around when we opened the door.
It looks like the house has been pretty much abandoned since the people who lived here disappeared. As I continued on, I found that there were shoe prints on the floor. There was that much dust on the floor.
I wish I could have cleaned it up if I could....

'Is it a cleaning anyway? Dust is nothing more than wind magic.

'Wait, wait, wait, wait! If you're going to do this, open all the windows first! And keep the power down!

'Moo, did you think I would use magic without thinking, brother? You'll have to excuse me.

I stopped Estelle as she quickly readied her wand and tried to use her magic.
Then she complained with her mouth agape and buzzed, but I'm sure everyone would have the same reaction if you held up your wand as if you were going to start right now.
I mean, you definitely tried to do it. If you use your magic in the usual way, the house will blow up.

"First of all, do you need to clean up ... or do you need a bed and other household items?

'Oh, yeah. I don't know if I'll be able to live there, but the curtains and the dishes and the whole lot of stuff I'll have to have, come to think of it.

There's no furniture or anything like that at all, so I'll have to go buy a lot of stuff if I want to live there.
I don't even know how much we can extend with the house extension, and if I'm going to go out and buy something, it'll be after that.

'I don't know how it's going to turn out yet, and I'll have to clean it out first before I decide.

So let's make cleaning a priority for now. If it stays dirty, it's going to get dirty in the extended area.
I asked Moffitt to come into the pet house while I cleaned, and I decided to start cleaning immediately.

YEAH!

Suddenly there was a scream in the house. At the same time, there was a heavy thump, and the house shook.

''What, what!?''

That was Esther's scream!

Estelle would have been left to clean the shed with Sisha. It's rare for her to scream like this.
Noor and I, who were cleaning the living room, looked at each other and headed towards the shed where the scream came from.

Oh, come on.

'My brother ... that ... that ... that came out! The black, fast-flying one...

Calm down for now.

When I arrive, Esther, who was at the door of the storage room, hugs me. She's still looking up at me. Her cheeks are red and slightly teary-eyed.
Since I'm not wearing my armor right now, I felt a direct touch and felt nervous, but I decided to calm her down first.
What's that? What in the world could be so frightening ... black and fast ... a cockroach? You don't think there are cockroaches in this world?
I didn't see it, so I can't say for sure, but it was probably something similar. I can't believe that Estelle, who's taking down even demons with a bang, is scared like this.
But I understood the cause of the scream, but what was that sound I heard along with it? If she had blown up everything around here with her magic, it wouldn't be surprising if she had blown up everything around here, but there was no sign of that.
For now, I left the frightened Esther with Noll and I decided to look inside the storage room.

'Ka, the wall is broken! What the hell happened?!

I looked inside the shed and found Sisha there. The shed is reasonably large, there is space for about two tatami mats.
There was a hole about the size of a soccer ball in the back.

''No, I was surprised too. I was so surprised that I crushed it without a second thought.''

"I'm amazed that someone would destroy an entire stone wall...

I didn't expect them to buy it and destroy it instantly. I mean, it's okay to be surprised and smash it, but don't attack it with the force of destroying a wall.......
What am I going to do with this. If there's something like a bug like that, it's going to come in here, and I'll have to block it off with something... I wonder if I can fix it with a house extension.

'Oh, it's a cockroach. You could have just grabbed it and flung it outside.

What?

'Huh? Is there a problem, sir?

Nol nodded in agreement as we left the storeroom. Apparently the creature in the example is named Gokibun.
She tells me to just grab it and throw it away, and Esther and Sisha back away from Noor as she backs away.
I wouldn't want to wear gloves if they told me to grab a cockroach either I'm a bit curious what kind of creature it was.

'Uhehe.......cleaning the house must be a lot of work.......'

I'm kind of tired rather than fighting...

A few hours after we started, the dust in the house was finally gone. The rough parts were done with Esther's magic, but it took a lot of time to wipe down the details as well.
If this is a small house, I don't know what would happen if I bought a bigger house. Maybe I'll leave it to a professional cleaner this time....I don't know if they're there.

'Huh, it sucks to see a gobbler buzz when it was just cleaning.

It was disgusting...

The girls seem to be very mentally challenged when they encounter a cockroach buzz. When I encounter a cockroach, I make a big deal out of it too, and I know how it feels.

If we don't get on with it, we're going to have to go to the inn again today, so let's get on with it.

Oh, you can finally use it, can't you? I've been waiting for this for a long time.

It was getting kind of gloomy with fatigue, but I decided to change my mind and use the house extension.
I control my phone and make a selection in the item field. [Would you like to use it on the building you are currently in? Yes, No] is displayed, so select Yes.
Then the screen switched, and something like a floor plan of the house we're in now was displayed like a map app. There are lines drawn at regular intervals, like a piece of graph paper.
On the right side of the diagram are the items Expand, Repair, Erase, and Convert, and the top right corner is labeled 0 points.

''........hmm? What are we going to do about this?

'It seems you can specify more than the size of the house. I wonder if we can do that and then we can go outside?

'Hmm? I don't know, so let's just convert and try it.

The area that skipped over the floor plan was also selectable, and when I pressed it, the square changed to a different color. So that's the selection.
I had to have a point to start, so I started by pressing the "Convert" button. Then the item column appears and it says to choose the item to convert.
The rates are also written at the bottom: R is 10, SR is 100, SSR is 2,500, and UR is 10,000.

'Huh? R is 10 and SR is 100!

That's a pretty low point, isn't it?

Oh come on, this is a bit tight, isn't it? Our main equipment is mainly SR. We'll be much more limited in what we can use for conversion...
But we don't know how much we'll need to expand. It's too early to be disappointed.
So I pressed the expansion item to see what's inside.
What was displayed was 【Aisle】100P per square, 【Room】1000P, 【Kitchen】3000P, 【Toilet】3000P, 【Bath】5000P......etc....etc....There are also a storage room and a study.

Haha..........is this for real? Not enough points at all.....

Does this mean we should have more gacha...?

Not enough at all. A bath is 5,000P or 2 SSR's worth of baths.
What I need right now is a room for now. If I convert my armor system, I can get at least two........no. It's ridiculous to prioritize the house. Let's think about converting the equipment we don't need first.

Then I stared at the item list for a while, and after consulting with the girls, I was able to select 1100P worth of conversion candidates.
I have Estelle and Sis-Ha, so the staff-based SRs were eligible for conversion. That and visually appealing armor such as gorgeous shoes were also converted. Autoguard Sphere and ring systems are useful, so converting them is ridiculous.
I managed to extract 1,100p by including Eclipse Swords and other equipment and converting R equipment as well... I shouldn't have sold the R weapons to Gunz-san....

'Let's see what happens for now.

Now that I'm ready, I decided to use the expansion to add more corridors. I'm going to see what happens with the pathways first, and then I'll expand the room.
There's some distance between us and the neighboring houses, so it's not a problem if it's just to add a little more space. However, if it pops out of the house, it will be a problem later on.
So first of all, I chose a pathway to the outside in a way that is attached to this house. Then the light jumped out of the phone and went to the wall of the selected area. When the light gathered to form a long and narrow shape, a door appeared in that part of the house.

'Whoa! And the door is open?

I'm going to have a look outside for a moment, sir.

When Noor approached the first and opened the door, there was a space about a tatami mat in size. Both walls and the ceiling are white, and the floor is wood flooring. The ceiling is bright with embedded lighting.
It's kind of a joke, but it's like the corridor of a house in my world in that part of the space.
She ran outside to check the part where the space was created.

''Okura-dono - there is no change in the place that was spread out on the wall,''

Huh? Then what's going on here?

They built it in a part of the house that is beyond the scope of this house, so normally the walls in that part of the house would have popped out.
But they say there is no such part. I thought it was a lie too, and I've been looking at it, but there's definitely no part that juts out.
 What's the meaning of this?

Aren't we in an inter-dimensional space?

It's so convenient to keep the size of the house the same and have more space inside.

In another dimension space that's what I'm afraid of. But this won't be a problem for a small house, and it won't bother the neighbors without being exposed from the outside.
If this is the case, I probably should have bought a house in the royal capital. When I think about it, I feel somewhat frustrated, but I didn't know if I didn't try it, and there's no point in lamenting.
For now, I'll just use this place as a base to build a comfortable house. In order to do that, I'll have to go through more messes, but... it's a long way to go.
