79-How to achieve your goals

We found out how to get the magic stone, so we returned home.
We tried to give the equipment from the gacha to Glynn and the others as is, but Glynn was the only one who wouldn't accept it.
The rewards are extraordinary, and yet he told me he couldn't accept such an expensive item. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work.
I just gave Armiro and the others their weapons, so I hope they continue to do well as adventurers.

I'm so glad you're back.

"Whoa!

I'm surprised you're so surprised. Rude.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

When I opened the front door to quickly enter my home, I found Luna waiting for me at the door with Moffitt in her arms.
The sun is about to set, so I wouldn't be surprised if she was awake, but I wasn't expecting her to be there to greet me, so I was surprised.

'You've been playing with Moffoot, haven't you!

Yeah, it was a slow day.

Mmm. Luna has grown quite fond of you, hasn't she?

Moffoot was poo-pooing as Luna held him in her arms.
And when Noor walked in, she handed Moffoot to Noor.
Maybe it's because she went to Noor's room every so often and played with Moffoot, but she seems to be quite close to him.
One of the few reasons she leaves her room is to play with Moffat.

"There you go, is that all right?

Oh, I'm sorry.

Thank you. It's very unusual for Luna to offer me a drink.

I was just thirsty, and I'm grateful for it!

As we sit down in our chairs, Luna brings me a drink in a wooden cup. She places it in front of me, Noor and Esther.
Oh, what the hell is going on with Luna that she takes so much care of us?

You see....

Finally, a little late, he placed the cup in front of Sisha with a slightly raised eyebrow and a disgusted expression. You're hesitating like you're making a painful decision........

''Ru, Luna-san! I'm so thrilled you're giving it to me!

"Ugh, come on ... don't hug me ...

Even though she only got a drink, Sisha hugs Luna as if she was happy.
The woman who was hugged has a resigned expression as if to say, "I knew it was going to be like this after all.
You know that you knew this was going to happen, so you weren't sure if you wanted to put it down or not.......

The moment I thought it was about time while watching the situation. Luna opened her mouth and bit Sisha's arm.

''Awwww! .........ah, ah.......heh, heh......

After being bitten, Sisha collapsed from her knees with Luna in her embrace, zealously collapsing from her knees and finally falling on Luna.
Her eyes were white and her whole body was twitching and twitching, but she still had a creepy smile on her face as if she was happy.
 Scary.........

''Peh, peh........it's still not good. This guy's no good now, I'll carry him to his room.

'Oh, yeah...'

Luna put Sisha on her shoulder like that and disappeared from our presence along with Sisha.
I thought Sisha was relatively quiet today but..............................So this is what happens in the end.

Well, for now, anyway. Let's wrap up what we've learned today, shall we?

Oh, you've gone through it all so easily, haven't you?

'It's just the way Sisha always gets like that. I've seen him rolling around in the hallway more than once during the holidays.

Sisha is causing so much trouble that it would be tiring to react to every single thing....... I'm already used to a lot of things, as expected.
Perhaps because Luna was bitten by a lot of people during the holiday, she's been able to adjust to prevent Sisha from moving.
Probably they won't be able to move like that for a few hours today either.

'The first requirement is to defeat the rare species, form a party, and use gacha-produced equipment. So that's it?

That's the way it's supposed to work, sir.

But with today's, I'm not sure we need to have a party.

Oh, sure, you're right but how can I be sure of that...

Those are the three things I figured out today. But I don't know if the party is a requirement for today's one...
Maybe it's possible that I can get a magic stone just by having equipment from the gacha. If that's the case, the requirements are much easier to meet... but I don't think it's that easy, as expected.

Do you want to see if you can spice things up and get out of the party one more time?

Yeah. Can you take care of Noll?

It's all right.

I've tried it once before, but I'm not sure if I can get out of the party again or if I'm going to be forced to try again.

'Well then I'm not a party I'm not a party with Okura-dono... noooooo!

Noor clenches his fists and mumbles and denies being a party with all his strength.
It's not a party with me, and seeing her deny it to that extent makes me somewhat sad, even though I know it's an experiment.......

''Gugnu........what do you think?

No.

"Mmm, I suppose I can't go this far, can I?

I checked with the beacon and the Nole's name is still there.

What about Esther?

Oh, even if I did, how could I possibly leave your brother?

Oh, well...

Isn't Esther the obvious choice? So I'm smiling and smiling.
I guess I'm happy for him, but I wonder if it's just my imagination that I'm feeling something creepy... I get the same chills as I did when he gave me the necklace.

'And for now, let's just assume that all three of these things have to be met, shall we?

If the party was left out, it would be a simple job to hand over the equipment.
So what we're going to discuss now is if it was the three conditions that would be difficult.

'So the hardest of these to achieve is.......the party, after all.

''Ummm ... yes, it is.''

By all accounts, it's hard to get them to party when we're not together.
The phenomenon of not being able to get out of the Nors' party was good in a way because it helped us hunt away from them.
If I could get the other adventurers to be in the same situation as Noll and the others it would be great, but that's just not possible.

'After watching the hunt today, isn't hunting a rare species a problem too?

Well yes.

Watching Glynn and his team hunt today, I was reminded that it's tough to deal with a rare species when it's just ordinary adventurers.
Normal adventurers wouldn't go into that forest to hunt first. In fact, they don't even approach the forest to hunt, so maybe it's rare to encounter a black orc.
The people at the store were surprised when we first took the black pork, so that line is probably strong.
If that's the case.......even if we met all of the requirements, obtaining the magic stone would be hopelessly low.

''Ah, this means that it's impossible to achieve, even though I figured it out anyway?

I imagine it's going to be a comfortable mess life from here on out, but does that mean we're going back to the magic stone death march after all?
I could at least get one or two every day... just like a login reward or something.

No, there's a way to do that.

'Really? That's Esther! So how are you going to do it?

Estelle is a reliable partner.

As I was getting pessimistic like that, Esther said that there is a way.

'First of all, it's important to know to what extent the party's judgment applies.

As Estelle began to explain, me and Nol decided to listen to her quietly.
Applying the judgement........? Does that mean there are some specifics to the party as well?

I think the reason we are not removed from being treated as a party no matter how hard we try is because we subconsciously recognize them as our friends. The other adventurers, if they feel a certain amount of camaraderie with you, they will judge you as a party even if you are far away from them.

'Hmmm...? If that's the case, I'm already registered with the Society of Adventurers, and I'm guessing there are plenty of adventurers still recognized as a party?

If you listen to what he has to say, he does have a point.
The reason why Nohl doesn't leave the party no matter how hard he tries is because he knows he's part of it, even though he's not.
But then there are some strange things that come up. I'm already a member of the Adventurer's Association, so it's not surprising that other adventurers are judged as part of the party.

It's just because I belong to the Adventurer's Association, not because I'm recognized as a companion to my brother. It seems you need to have a stronger connection with your brother.

In order to be judged as a party, they have to think of themselves as friends, right?
Did Dius, Glynn and the others recognize them as friends who hunt together, so they were temporarily recognized?
If we're going to make it permanent, our people need to be more aware of their own... That's impossible, isn't it?

''And as for the rare species... there are two possible solutions to this... one is to bring in adventurers of B rank and above, and the other is... to draw in adventurers of B rank and above. And the other... to make the lower-ranked adventurers stronger so they can hunt the rare species.

While holding up her index finger, Esther's explanation goes on and on.
I know what you mean by making B-rank and above your friends. If you're as strong as Dius, you'll be able to hunt even against rare species with no problem.
There should be more opportunities to deal with them compared to lower-ranked ones.

But what's the second thing to make it stronger? It's that easy........to be strong.

'Does that mean........you're going to give me gacha-produced equipment to make me stronger?

Yeah, that's the idea.

It seemed to be right, and Esther nodded to me in satisfaction.

''If it's at least a black orc, we can hunt it if we give it some SR for weapons and ornaments, right? Besides, this would satisfy the requirement to use the equipment in the mess.

It's true, that would be more efficient, as I could meet two conditions.
But I feel that giving them gacha-produced equipment is a bit of a risk. If I'm going to give it to you, it should be an R weapon that's strengthened to a degree that's not unnatural in this world, or a protection ring type equipment.

I don't want to bother equipment stores like Ganz-san, though, and I'd prefer to avoid giving them weapons and armor if possible.
If I give them the good ones, they won't be buying any weapons or armor for a while.
When you think about it, was it a bad idea to give them weapons today? ........No, but it's an unenhanced item, so I guess I'll be fine.
I'll have to be very careful about the balance of the equipment I give you.

''Of course you shouldn't give it to someone you don't trust, but with this, the party will be able to solve the problem in no time at all, okay?

"...what? What do you mean?

No matter how many magic stones are available, I'm not going to give them away recklessly either. Well, even if I do, I'm going to keep it to a level that won't pose a threat to us.
SSRs and some SRs are dangerous. I'm sure defense penetration systems are especially dangerous.
More importantly the party can be solved?

We can form a group of other adventurers and give them gacha equipment as proof that they're in. The fact that you have proof that you are a member of the group should make you feel like you belong.

'Come to think of it, I was surprised that Glynn-san was a magic tool.... You mean you're fishing with things?

It sounds bad when you put it that way, but isn't that more reliable than starting a group with a verbal agreement?

I see........you want to form a group that's a little larger than the party and have them think of you as their friend?
That should make them feel closer to you than if they were part of the Adventurer's Association.
Plus, it's nice to have things to identify you as a member of the group. It's a good idea to give them a guardian's ring as proof of their affiliation.
It's a good idea to have a good idea of what you're looking for.

The idea of including adventurers with a B rank or higher in the group........................seems difficult right now.

You think Dius and the others will be able to get in?

There won't be many adventurers with a B-rank or higher, but we already have a Dius we know at least once.
If we tell them Estelle made it and give them the ring, they'll probably be happy to bite on it.......

It seems that Dius and his friends have a certain amount of name recognition, so it may be difficult for them to belong to any group. If you want to get strong adventurers into your group, you might have to raise your rank first.

It's no good for Dius and the others, who are B-ranked, to join the group we've created, which is still C-ranked, considering the eyes of the other adventurers.
I can't just hand over the equipment and call it a day, if I want to form a group. We need to come up with some sort of activity for that, so rather than sneaking around, I'd rather have a group with an open mind.

We should also aim for a B-rank, which would increase the likelihood that other adventurers would accept us as a group.
I should ask the association if it's okay for adventurers to form such a group. You don't want to be told no later.

The best thing about this is that Esther has thought it through very well. I feel as if steam is going to come out of my head.

It's not my place to say it, but shouldn't Nol think about it for a minute?

I'm the intuitive type, so I leave the brainwork to Esther!

You don't think it's fair to say so openly, do you?

When we got the conversation out of the way, Nol started to sound sluggish with his head dizzy. Honestly I'm a little heady too I'm not very good at thinking about it.
But now there's a glimmer of hope. For now, my goal for the future is to get promoted to the B rank and form a group, right?
