222-Sea cave

With the evolution of my Moffoot and the discovery of a new hunting ground, I've been collecting magic stones with great anticipation for the next gacha.
I'm starting to get used to hunting Sahagin, and I'm gradually getting to know where I can effectively guide them from where they spring up and where I can handle them.
With the two fishermen, Esther as an annihilationist and Freesia as an escort, we were able to gather about 50 magic stones in half a day.
We could get 11 consecutive gacha tiles worth of magical stones in half a day, which would be great. If we continue to improve the efficiency and reduce the time loss, we can achieve 60 stones in half a day! .........well, I'm afraid of the consequences if I overdo it, so I'll keep it in moderation.
Even though I tried many things like that, I've managed to save up to 1780 magic stones now. The day is nearing when I'll be able to get back the 1000 that I spent on the ceiling gacha.

I've been hunting for those magical stones every day, but since Freesia was about to vent her frustrations, I decided to take a break and do a normal search.
The target of this search was a sea cave that sinks at high tide, which I had heard rumors about in Sevalia.
The fishermen in Sevalia asked me about the timing of the ebb tide, and I visited the place where the cave is located at that time.

We went down to the rocky area where the water had receded to a cove surrounded by cliffs, and found a wide hole at the bottom of the cliff.
If you look inside, you will find a slope leading upwards from the entrance part, and if you go deep into the cove, it seems that you can go underground on the way down this time.
Of course, there is no light source and it is completely dark, but Esther's magic illuminates the inside, just like in the Stogar mine.

It's a good idea to have a good time with them. There's not much water in here at all.

'It's supposed to keep the water from going back in well after it sinks into the sea. Has the place been dug out by man?

It would be a hideout, wouldn't it? In the past, there were pirates who hid their treasures. It's a treasure trove of gold and silver treasure!

"Zakuzaq! We'll definitely find some treasure!

Sisha reveals a goofy grin on her face, and Freesia's eyes shine.
.........What is it, I think I've seen a contrast between an evil guy and a pure guy.
 That's fine, this cave, it's clearly man-made.
At first glance, it looks like it was made naturally, but if you look at the map app, the back of the cave is divided into several chambers like an ant nest.
Well, we knew that from the moment we heard about this cave.
When I talked to the fisherman, though, I'm sure the adventurers have already explored it a lot, gahaha! And what a laugh.
Gret and the others seemed to be here too, so I would have been able to talk to them, but I looked for them to say goodbye, but they were out on request and weren't in town.
Making the unknown known by ourselves is probably the best part of the search, and maybe this was a good thing this time.

"Is there any treasure left in an already recognized cave?

'From what I've heard, it's been explored to some extent. I'm not sure if there's any treasure but if there was, everyone would take it without telling anyone. Now I hear there are demons in there too.

But it has a title. It's easier than the usual search.

Yes, why did we come here when we have already explored? It's because I have the title of sea guardian given to me by Master Testudo.
As long as you have this, you won't have to worry about being attacked by marine monsters first.
In other words, even in places where there are monsters, you can explore them carefully and safely.
There are definitely parts that even adventurers overlook.
Freesia will be happy with the exploration, and it will be just fine.
It seems that the place where the demons are located is pretty far down the road, so for now, let's just look at the places that have been explored.

''There were demons in the Shtogar mine's tunnels as well, but did demons occur here later on as well?''

Hmmm, maybe you dug up the ground or something and found a place where demons could come up. And I don't really know how demons are generated in the first place.

''Basically, where there are demons, the magic element is thick. There's quite a bit of magnesium in this cave as well, so maybe the magnesium is involved in the cause of the demon outbreak.

'I'm sure we'll find something if we explore this place and the shafts of the Stogar mine. I'm somewhat interested in it too, but right now I'm more interested in seeing if there are any treasures in these caves!

"You're too greedy for your priestly habits...

'Oh no, I don't want any gold or silver treasures. I am a priest, so how could I be so greedy? I enjoy looking for hidden treasures. Hey, Freesia.

'Yes! I'm looking forward to the treasure hunt with Heihachi, Noor and the others!

So Freesia enjoys the act of searching more than the treasure itself. Isn't that pure?
I'm sure you'll be able to find a great deal more to say about it.
It's definitely a treasure hunt. It's not just a case of greed!
But if you've got the treasure, I want it too. I'll use it as part of my magic stone collection fund.

With this evil thought in mind, I explore the cave.
In the cave, wooden boxes and ropes that were tattered, and many other things fell into place.
A sense of life, or rather, the remnants of a person's presence are still there. It looks like some adventurers and other things brought in, but it feels like an abandoned place.
And there are places where things are severely scattered, and there are obvious signs that they were scavenged.

It seems to be wider than I expected. There are a variety of wreckage as well, was this really a hiding place?

'From the looks of it, it's been around for quite a while. It's pretty rough, and I'd like to see the explorers in their own way.

''It doesn't look like we can expect any treasures with this. If we actively look for the places where the demons are, is there still a possibility that they are unexplored?

Mmm, nothing really. Isn't there a hidden room or something?

There was such a space near the room I'm examining now, and it was connected to the narrow path below this room.
If you follow that path and look at the ground connected to it, you'll see a craggy, huge rock placed on top of it.
However, there were drag marks around the rock, and when I grabbed the rock to test it out and put some force to the side, it slid down and made a hole in the ground.

We've found a hidden passage and there are signs that it was moved. They're exploring your hidden room too.

It's very clever, isn't it? I mean, is there even a hidden room built in a cave like this?

Yeah, it's probably an artificially created place. Let's check out the hidden rooms anyway.

You could dive into this hole and make your way to the hidden room, but it's quite a distance away, and there's barely enough room for one person.
It's not impossible to get there normally, but now I have an item that comes in handy in these situations. Now is the time to use it!
I pulled a slender black stick out of my bag. This is an item called a dimension hole, which was mentioned a long time ago.
If you stick this into the wall, a hole will appear on the other side of the wall. I stuck it into the wall and it went right into the back of the wall, and when I let go of my hand, a vertical hole opened up right underneath the stick.

'Great! There's a hole in the wall! I can see the other side!

That's the first time you've used Dimension Hall properly. How far away is it from the next room?

I'm thinking 10 meters. We're going to go through the other side of the wall, regardless of the distance.

This is a good one. We don't have to move much.

The three-dimensional map app even showed the distance between my current location and my destination, which was 10 meters from here to the hidden room.
But the hole opened up by the dimension hole was only about one step away, and it seems that it's not simply a hole to the wall on the other side.
It seems to be a different dimensional space, but is this a sort of warp of sorts?
Luna is looking at me with eyes that seem to want it badly.

I went through the hole and entered the hidden room, but again, there is no evidence of ransacking and there is nothing new to be found.
When Sisgah knocked on the wall, part of it came off and found a hidden cabinet.
However, it seems that this is also after being found and there is nothing inside, and Sisha is clicking her tongue.

I'm sure you've been completely hit. Has the hidden cabinet also been uprooted?

How did you know it was there before I told you?

A search like this is a piece of cake. I'm a priest, you know.

Then I explored the other hidden rooms, but none of them had been ransacked and I didn't get any results.

All of the hidden rooms are wiped out. It's safe to examine the places where there are no demons, but there's still nothing left.

'You've already done all the research. I can't believe you've found all the hidden rooms, a good explorer must have been here. It looks like we'll just have to search for the demon's location from here on out.

We have a full view of everything on the 3-D map app, but all the hidden rooms in the area where there are no demons have been explored.
If people like Gretto-san and the others had come, it's no wonder that they found all the hidden rooms.
Or rather, Gulet-san and the others would have explored this cave, so it was a long shot to begin with.
But it's still too early to give up. There is no doubt that the area beyond this point is a demon's domain, and that there are places that have not been explored.
With that hope in mind, we continue our search.
