113-Episode 113: Time to proceed

We knew it was going to be quite a battle, and after careful preparation we were finally going to raid the royal castle.

But something was wrong with that.

'Fee. What do you think?
'Well maybe there's something special going on?
What do you mean by that?
'No, I don't know about that but...'

The two of us stepped up to the rear of the squad. Fee and I are fighting mainly to support them with alchemy. Our main method of attack is also ice, and we try to avoid hurting them as much as possible.

It turns out that this is what we found out later, but it seems that the soldiers who betrayed us are missing the memory of that time.

None of them remembered it clearly, they were just stunned...it was like a dream.

 That's what they all said.

I'm sure the doctors will take care of that side of things, and we will finally come to the royal castle. However, we didn't come face to face with any members of the Rosenkreuz.

We would have to fight somewhere sooner or later.

That's what we discussed at the meeting, and I had prepared myself to a certain extent, but.......for some reason, I didn't come out. In the first place, we already know that the mastermind of this case is not Alice, but Prince Oscar.

And yet, there's no sign of him showing up at all. In fact, I wonder if he's really behind this whole mess. I'm not sure he's even behind it.

''I heard Princess Alice is in the basement, but...''
Well, that's just a guess. It's just a guess based on the story of a prison underneath the castle... and I guess we're here.

As the two of us were talking like that, an enemy came from out of nowhere, zoned in. But it was the same as before...........and it looked completely insane.

''Let's go!''
Yeah!

After that, it was over in no time at all, as usual. Me and Fee froze our feet, and then it was just a matter of letting the knight humans in front of us take care of the rest.

Again, especially this time, we were able to finish the battle without any casualties on both sides.

While watching the post-event processing like that, Fee and I sort out this situation again.

''........It's still strange.''
Ah. It's definitely safe to assume that there is some kind of curse on him.

 A kind of curse.

The reason I describe it that way is because there are no clear traces of the curse, not that there are traces of the curse. I was also present at the witnessing, but certainly no traces remain. But without a doubt, I'm thinking that there is some alchemy.......or magical element to it.

'Well. Elle. I think it's time to go.
....
What's going on?

He stared at me with concern in his face, but I replied, not particularly concerned about the question that had arisen in my mind.

'Nope. It's nothing. Let's go, Fee.
Yeah.

And so we made our way through the castle.
