116-Episode 116 Seeking Her

The blue light we found in the basement.

In search of it, Fee and I have been making progress but we haven't been able to get to that light at all.

'Hey, Elle. I can't reach that light, but...
Yeah.
Why are you so calm?
No, I'm thinking about it.
Okay.

I quickly turn my thoughts back to the consideration of that light again.

I never get to the blue light I found. We've been walking all the way, but where we are now we don't even know where we are....

This place is like a labyrinth.

That's the intuition of me and Fee, who have experienced the labyrinth before. And I'm pretty sure it's the right thing to do.

To begin with, the size of the space is alien to us.

We've walked a few kilometers for sure. And that's probably more than this royal castle. And yet we're still underneath the royal castle.

We know that because Fee has an alchemy of our position, but it seems that we haven't moved much at all.

Now, what should we do from here on out........

As I was thinking about this, suddenly the presence of a person disappears from behind me.

''Fee?''

 I turned around.

Then there was no one there. Just a dark space. It's impossible to be away from them in the short time that we have now.

So how could this be so...?

As I was thinking this, Poof, Fee appeared in front of me.

'Oh, that? Didn't you just go somewhere Elle?
'That's what I'm saying, but...'
What do you mean by that?

We both realize that something is wrong with our current situation.

Maybe me and Fee weren't going somewhere with each other, we were originally in the front... but we couldn't perceive it?

There was no sign of that at all for the instantaneous kind of movement.

The next thing I knew, Fee was gone, and then he appeared in front of me.

Then, as we were dumbfounded by each other, I felt that light suddenly become closer.

'Look, Elle. Isn't it getting closer?
Well you're certainly getting close.
What does that have to do with what just happened?
'It would be reasonable to think so. But.....

It seemed inexplicably dangerous to go on from here. This underground space was definitely not normal. Unlike the labyrinth, we don't go down further underground, but there might be some mystery in this vast expanse of space.

No, can we really define this place as a vast space in the first place?

Such a question suddenly passed through my brain.

Come to think of it, we're cruising the same place. And I'd always assumed that that light was far away. In the first place, that idea itself is probably wrong.

'Fee. I don't know what's going to happen from here.
But it's a little late for that, isn't it? Let's go, Elle.

There was a definite will in those eyes.

 Apparently, my fears were unfounded.

And so we continued on through this space.
