119-Episode 119: The Place That Arrived

Since then, we've been on our way, taking several breaks. In the midst of it all, that blue light was still getting closer and closer.

And at the same time, Alice's voice was becoming more and more audible.

But it was still apparently not heard by Fee.

''Hiiiiiiii! There's a big rat right now!
They're nothing more than rats. Let's go.
Elle is fine, but I can't do it!

And then he grabs my arm firmly, shivering. Right now, that blue light is helping me to move forward firmly, but it's still dim.

There are not only rats on the ground, but other insects and other things crawling around as well. Fee, who seems to be afraid of that, is thus walking along in fright.

For me, it's a bit of a hassle, but Fee is helping me in many ways. And since it's too late to see how scared she is, for now, we both continue to walk forward without worrying about it.

''Ugh........I'm kind of hungry too.......''
You complain a lot.
'Cause... And I wasn't expecting it to take this long!
'Well that's true. This underground space was too unexpected.
You know! Huh I can't wait to get back and have a clean room to eat in.
'I agree with you on that. Besides, I can't wait to get back to my normal routine.
Yeah. But I'm sure it will be over soon.

It was a fact that the rebellion in the royal capital was almost settled. It's a good thing that the opposition's progress has lost all momentum since the middle of the game. It's still a mystery, but the fact that we've been able to progress to the castle is proof of that.

I'm sure that by the time they are rescuing Alice, all of this will be over outside.

''M........Fee. Look at that.
Hmm? What's that?

Finally, we reached the blue light.

And it was a prison. We found a young girl lying down on the spot. She had blue hair and a slightly slender body.

There's no doubt about it, she is........

''Alice! You wanted to be safe!
Doctor...?

I raised my voice and turned my head to look at him. It was definitely Alice's. Her face seemed to be a bit muffled, but her sanity was firmly in place.

I force my way through that prison and quickly lean in close to her.

'We've finally made it.'
What, sir...? Not a hallucination?
Oh. I'm not hallucinating. And there's Fee.
Hi. Princess Alice.
'Well I see....'

Relieved, Alice hugged me and shed tears quietly.

After many twists and turns, we succeeded in rescuing Alice.

However, it seems that there is still a lot of mystery to be solved.
