54-Episode 54: Colonel Rita's Military Training

Hi, I'm Rita. My teacher has gone to the labyrinth now and is not here. However, he comes to work twice a week, so he shows up for classes and seminars. But I miss him because he used to be in the lab even when he didn't come to work, and I used to go there to visit him.

But but! I have a mission now!

That's the proto and the care of Nos. 1 through 4. The doctor told me to take care of them.

"Rita, take care of these guys for me.
I'll take care of it!
'It may not be easy to listen to you, but you can educate me and do it well. Just don't be too strict, okay? Corporal punishment and all that.
'Sir, I won't do that. I'll guide these children firmly!
Oh, well you're in good hands then.

And so the teacher has gone into the labyrinth. I miss him, but now I have a mission. Yes, this book will give you an idea of what education is all about.

The book was about military training. It was in my brother's room, who is a military man, and I borrowed it. Well, that's fine. I'm going to put it to good use.

Hmmmm.....

As I read it, it says that strict instruction is still important. And discipline.

I see. Discipline........what should I do about it?

As I was thinking about this, an image popped up in my head.

''Ah! Yes, we can all practice marching together!

It hit me. A march. That's right, a march. That sight of everyone moving forward in unison is a true symbol of discipline. Let's teach the veggies to march. I can't do anything difficult, but I can handle the march!

I hear that this kind of thing is quoted as a sergeant or something like that, but I'm going higher.

By the way, this is how the military ranks are supposed to work. It is written in the book.

 Commander-in-Chief -> General.
Officer -> General > Lieutenant General > Major General > Major General > Colonel > Lieutenant Colonel > Major > Captain > Lieutenant > Lieutenant > Second Lieutenant
 Associate Officer to Adjutant.
Noncommissioned officer > Chief Petty Officer > Sergeant > Sergeant > Corporal
Soldier to Captain > Corporal > Private > Private First Class > Private

A general would be too much for me, so I made it a colonel.

 I will stand in heaven!

So I appointed myself as a colonel among the officers. I'm Colonel Rita. It's kind of cool. Let's make those vegetables a private. They have the luxury of being instructed by the colonel in person.

Then one day I put my whistle around my neck and went to his lab.

'Ready, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee row!
".........!

The five people inside, Proto and Nos. 1 through 4, are freaked out. I haven't said anything harsh lately because I've been listening to what they say comparatively, but not today. I will lead them.

''See! Line up properly!
" " " " " "...?

Everyone looks puzzled and shuffles off to line up.

"Yes, then, listen carefully.

They're all staring at me. Hmm. I've been taking care of them all these days. They listen to me.

"Today we're going to practice our marching.

Then I blackmailed them as they all began to panic as they scurried to look at each other.

''........Silence! Listen, you have a mission to grow up well. I'm going to show the teacher who made you all great!
".........!

Everyone seems impressed, and everyone squeezes their right hand up. But I'm going to straighten this out as well.

First of all, let's start with the salute! When you reply, do this!

And I'll show you how to do it. I bring my right hand in front of my head, firmly extend my fingers and salute! Then everyone else did too.

'All right. Good - keep it up!

Oops. I didn't mean to sound so sweet. I'm a demon sergeant I'm not a demon sergeant but a demon colonel. I know that the colonel is not really in a position to do this kind of thing, but it's okay. Because I was left in charge by my teacher!

Marching practice, then! When I blow the whistle, we should all walk side by side!
".........!

A big salute. Hmm, nice trend. Hmmm.

And then a beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, and a whistle. Then everyone's spirits are lifted, and they all manage to walk away with their spines tightened.........but they are in pieces.

"....Stop! Hmmm, it's disjointed...

What can we do to raise the improvement...?

Ah! Appropriate feedback is important first. You can't get angry just because you can't do something. What's wrong and what to do about it, educators are expected to give solid feedback. And that's what the book says.

'Then let's do it one at a time!
".........!

Salute again. Hmmm, motivation is enough. There is no time to surprise the teacher. We must work quickly!

So let's start with the proto...

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. With a rhythmic whistle, the proto marches with gusto. But is he moving a little too much? He has big hand gestures and big strides. It's nice to be more energetic than everyone else, but you have to be able to fit in with your surroundings properly.

'Proto, can you be a little more restrained next time?
...!

A quick salute. Yup. Good thing you're willing to do it!

Beep, beep, beep, beep. And the proto is mostly finished. I knew that the best growing strains in this one were swallowed quickly.

And then I taught the first, second, third and fourth individually as well. I am a demon colonel. With my heart and soul, I instructed them all to be bishops. Sometimes we continued to train in the storm, sometimes in heavy rain, sometimes in fire, sometimes in smoke... sorry, I got a little carried away. The training is on a desk in the teacher's lab. But it's a training ground for them. They can't get their minds off it.

And for a few days, I trained with them. I even gave them rewards (nutritional supplements) if they got it right. It also says in the book, "When you stop learning, you stop teaching.

If you stop learning, you must stop teaching.

I see. That's a great statement. You can't just step back and push your education from above. We need to learn well too. Well we need to keep learning more than they do!

And I spent a lot of time in my sleep studying their habits and so on. How could I find out the habits of individuals and how to make them march cleanly? Now this was something I enjoyed doing. I realized that it's a great thing to work hard for someone else.

 And finally.....

'Ya, I did it! Everyone is perfect!
".........!

Everyone decides to give a big salute. Ka, it's perfect........! I did it! Colonel Rita has achieved her goal! Good job, privateers!

Rita, what are you doing here?
Alice!

Just then, it was Alice who came in just in time. That's right, let's let Alice see our feats!

All in a row!

It comes together nicely and neatly.

All right, move along.

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. And in rhythm, more firmly and neatly they go on with their hands and feet together. All the hard work seems to be washed away....

'Okay, stop!'

Everyone stops. It's perfect, no matter how many times we do it. We did it. This is an accomplishment.

...What's going on?
The march!
I know it when I see it, but why are you doing it?
He put me in charge!
'Yeah, Rita's a genius in a way...'

Alice says so, but I'm not sure. But she must be giving me a compliment!

I'm looking forward to seeing the doctor next time!
