10-Shell club

The shimmering white sandy beach beyond the black gates makes me want to squint. It was like an oasis in the desert with tide pools like small ponds and some tall trees.

From the white sandy beach, two large forceps popped out of the sand, and a shell crab emerged from underneath the sand, moving its four pairs of slender legs in minute detail.

Its shell, which glistened in the sun, was covered with strong minerals and shells, and the two huge forceps of different sizes were jagged like saws. The forceps, which are large enough to look up at in length and large enough to easily pinch a person, frighten Tsutomu a bit, but he holds his white staff at the ready and applies his support skills to the two men.

The black tactile sensation growing on his head twitches in response to the support skill. The shell club then walked sideways and approached underneath the three of them.

''Combat Cry!''

The shell club, enveloped in Garum's red fighting spirit, swung its tactile senses toward Garum and swung its right forceps down. Sand danced high as Garum dodged to the side. The forceps, which were waved as if to reap the entire ground in a jiffy, also evaded behind him and Garum activated his skill.

'Enchantment, Earth.'

Garum clothed the long sword in one hand with earthen magic to increase the strength of the sword, and aimed at one of the thin four versus eight legs. However, the slash doesn't get through as a high-pitched sound is heard and it is popped, with only pieces of ore dancing around.

The shell club continues to ignore the attacks and continues to swing its forceps at Garum, who continues to apply checkpoint attacks while avoiding the attacks. Amy leaps from behind the empty space with her twin swords.

''Rock Splitting Blade.''

Thrusting her two swords into the back shell, Amy stands on top of the shell as it is and swings the twin swords she pulled out like a madman. Each time the swords are swung, the shells attached to the shells turn to powder and fly away.

The movement of the shell club, with its antennae facing Amy's direction, comes to a halt. Instantly, Amy jumped down from her dorsal shell. I'm sure you'll be able to find out what's going on in the world.

It's not just a matter of time before you'll be able to get your hands on a new one. I'm sure you'll be able to find out more about this as well.

As they both jumped back from the shell club, which spun around vigorously with both forceps extended, Tsutomu layered protection on Garum and protection and haste on Amy.

'I'll see some more action and then I'll go set up my own trap.
Yes, sir.

Garum replied to Tsutomu's words as he regrasped the shield in his left hand. Amy was already on her way to the shell club, her feet already lightened by the hazing and quickened.

She dodges the forceps on her right that she swung down with a paperweight and dives in closer, stepping on the sand to cut off her antennae. The sound of the high blows sounded as if they were striking against an iron weapon. Amy stops a bit in midair, blocked by the left forceps. She kicks that forceps with one foot and flies backwards to reposition herself in the air before the right forceps catches her. She runs across the sand and heads for the shell club again.

Garum is also facing to join in, dodging one forceps after another as she swings down and prickles her slender legs. Cleave catches them with her hand shield and retreats significantly if they try to pinch her.

After flying and dodging the stabbing thrusts with the forceps, Amy leaps directly onto them and runs down her front legs to jump onto the dorsal armor.

The dorsal armor is a place that forceps cannot reach due to the structure of the shell club's body. The antennae moves agilely to look at Amy when Garum pokes the joints of her fine legs. Tsutomu also shoots an airblade at the slender leg while paying attention to hate management and misfiring.

The shells that were clinging to him are peeling off more and more as he concentrates on one of the slender legs. The thin black surface of one of the slender legs is now visible, and the back of Amy's scraping is also gradually peeling off the shells and ore.

Then the shellcrab let out a squeal that sounded like the scraping of a hard object together. Then, before Amy could get off, it leaped on the spot with great energy. Tsutomu assessed the action, which he hadn't seen live, while protecting his hands from flying grains of sand.

The shell club is leaping so fast that it makes me wonder how it can fly that far on its slender legs. And when the momentum is gone, the shell club is slowly turning halfway through the air and is about to plunge into the ground with Amy on its back.

Naturally, Amy thrust her twin swords into the shell before she was half-turned and broke free, but she was high enough to avoid breaking her bones in any way if she fell normally. Tsutomu thinks with his head noisy with impatience.

(Would that height kill me? Can Amy fall off her feet? Severe fractures are high heels. Hate is going to turn this way. Even if she heals, she won't be able to move quickly. Will she be able to defend herself with only her garmes? Can she avoid that attack entirely on her own? Negative. You could take a hit, at least. A potion, then. No, a way to mitigate the fractures. (Backup skills)

Protector!

Tsutomu issued a skill as he ran underneath Amy, who was in no hurry to regain her stance in the air. He attempted to conserve his mental power and reduce the rise in hate by putting more mental power into it than the protection he usually applies, but not for a longer duration.

Amy confirmed as she fell that a darker-than-usual earthy chi covered her body, and she landed in the sandbox from her feet with her long white hair fluttering. She rolled forward several times and stopped to let the impact go. Immediately Tsutomu took a thin bottle from his belt and opened the lid.

'Condition!
It's not broken. Thanks.

Zudong and a little farther away, a cloud of dust billowed up. Amy got down on one knee and brushed the sand from her hair.

Then, gently pushing back the potion Tsutomu offered her, Amy looked at the shell club, which stood up with a scream that sounded like it was grinding wires together.

'No, you're obviously hurt. Please drink quickly.'
'What? No, it's this much better, okay?
...and if you're okay, let me see your legs.

Tsutomu put away the thin bottle and closed in on Amy, who was kneeling with an expression on her face without saying a word. She took off her boots and gently rolled up her socks to avoid irritating her as much as possible. Her ankles had become congested and purple in color.

Tsutomu gave her a pained look at it and then thrust the thin bottle of potion into the sandbox.

'I can't use the heels because I have to use them on Garum-san. That should help you recover.
No, no. It's too good to spend it on this stuff. It'll heal when we get out of the dungeon, okay?
I've been thinking about it for a while now, but I don't have time to argue with you guys. Please definitely drink and get well before you come here. I won't forgive you if you don't take it.

Amy looked off Tsutomu as he ran off after saying that, his eyes black and white. Then she looked at the potion stuck in the sandbox.

(Usually, it's the other way around.)

She had been told that she wouldn't be forgiven if she used a potion for an injury that only caused her pain when she walked, but Amy had never had the experience of being told that she wouldn't be forgiven if she didn't take a potion.

The first thing that was wrong with letting individuals carry potions in the first place was that they were allowed to carry potions. Even Amy, who is not shy, did not drink the potion provided by Tsutomu. I'm sure you'll be able to find out more about this in the future, but I'm still not going to be able to use a potion that is worth as much as a single medium-quality magic stone.

(Worst case scenario, even if they demanded money, I got a medium-quality great demon stone last time...)

Amy picked up the fine bottle that had been stabbed in the sandbox and sipped its contents. It was a little bitter, but not so bitter that it made her nauseated. The pain in both of her legs eased as she rolled her tongue at the elves' potions.

While Amy was recovering from the potion, Garum continued to duck the shell club's attacks alone. Garum's breath was out of breath, whereas Shellcrab didn't slow down his movements. Rather, he is gaining more momentum than before while growing the twin swords stabbed by Amy in his back armor.

She swiftly moves her slender legs as if she were playing a piano and walks sideways, swinging her forceps as she approaches Garum. You can't step comfortably into the sandbox, which takes away your energy, and Garum was all about receiving.

As long as we don't attack, we won't get a blow from the opponent. But Garum's strength was nearing its limit. Fatigue slowed his legs and clouded his judgment. Garum avoided Shellcrab's body strike with a sideways leap, despite the sensation that his armor was so hot that he wanted to take it off.

'Heel. Medic.'

Green Qi shot from Tsutomu's staff and enveloped Garum's entire body as he rolled in the sandbox. It's not just a matter of time before you'll be able to get your hands on a new one.

Garum stood up while stabbing the long sword into the ground and slashed at the shell club while wavering. He was caught by the right forceps and the left forceps went to Garum. Garm defends with his silver shield, but it blows away.

In the meantime, Amy, whose legs had healed, clambered up Shellcrab's dorsal armor and pulled out the impaled twin swords with all her strength. Instantly the shell club jumped around like a rampaging horse. It landed in the sandbox as Amy was played.

Blue blood poured out of the spot where she had drawn her twin swords. As she slammed both forceps into the sandbox, Shellcrab moved her antennae agilely and screeched.

'I'm going to go set up a trap. Use the potions sparingly.'
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.

Leaving the spot to the two men who replied, Tsutomu turned away and took off from the battlefield at a small run. When he caught Tsutomu, Shellcrab tried to chase him, but Garum's combat cry made him aim at the two men on the spot.

Tsutomu looked back often to make sure Shellcrab wasn't chasing him, and then he dropped his magic bag and put his hand in. He pulls out a pike shaped signpost and sticks it in the sandbox, marking it out while he searches for the shellcrab's nest.

(A guard palm tree and three rocky brothers. The rest is near the beach, where the ground is rising. I'm checking it out live, and hopefully I'll find it soon.)

He ran along the beach and stabbed the signposts while Tsutomu ran around the beach, drawing on his knowledge from his gaming days. After fifteen minutes of running, he found a short palm tree and a tall palm tree.

He pulled out a shovel from his magic bag and started digging in the sandbox. He found some shells and ores buried under the palm trees and put them into his magic pack. He then buries the softer ores and shells that are similar in shape instead.

Then Tsutomu put the shell crab food out once it was buried in the sandbox and scattered the speckled fish that Amy had caught barefoot in the ocean to the surface. Some of the fish's bellies were ripped open to diffuse the smell, and a fishy smell filled the area.

And the speckled fish that make up the bulk of the shell crab's food supply are the fish that make up the potions and cause the shell crab to recover.

Tsutomu went back the way he came, praying that they would bite, even as he stuck a needle containing poison collected in the swamp into some of those fish.

The ones brought in from outside the dungeon would turn into particles and disappear after about thirty minutes when they left the basic human vicinity. So the guideposts that you thrust into them become particles and disappear after 30 minutes or so, and they no longer function.

Therefore, Tsutomu explores the area around the signposts while touching them on the way. And since he was able to find the three rock brothers from a distance, he planted the signposts there.

I'm sure you'll be able to find the rest of the place near the beach, but considering the time for the signposts and the burden on the two of us, Tsutomu decided to go back. It's a good idea to make the most of the next one, even if it's the worst case scenario for failure.

The dungeon changes the terrain often, but still the same terrain, features, etc. are present. A safe place in the forest near a large tree that can be seen from a distance is a safe place for monsters to stay away. To distinguish between a swamp and a bottomless swamp, look at the color of the swamp. Even if the terrain changes, there are still some terrains and objects that remain the same in each level.

Therefore, the characteristics and knowledge of each level are useful. Tsutomu was relieved to find out that the location of the seashore was already confirmed live, so he was able to harvest something for the time being.

On his way back home, Tsutomu looks around the beach and replaces the signposts that have disappeared, leaving only a few holes.

Then he followed the signposts back to the two men fighting the shell club.
