44-Unexpected side

It is a very good idea to have a good idea of what to do with your own money. Amy was able to effortlessly overcome the traditional abduction bird aerial walk at the fifty-one level with her own strength, and Camille approved that she had no problems controlling her fly.

And the crucial battle, Amy wasn't sitting still for the past week, or maybe her movements hadn't slowed down that much. And her movements as an attacker were not bad from Tsutomu's point of view. It seemed to Tsutomu that Amy was not moving in the same way as before, where she hunted individually, but rather she was moving to act with her friends as much as possible.

'Combat Cry.'
"Protection, Haste.

Garum unleashes a red fighting spirit on the four spear-horned deer (Spear Deer) and three grass wolves (Verdant Wolf). The seven animals that were caught by it and shouted with a yell approached Garum, who was granted protection, and Camille and Amy, who were hazed, approached the spear-horn deer.

''Sora!''

Camille catches the spear-horn deer's antlers from the front with her great sword and smashes them off with force. The spear-horn deer is frightened by the painful antlers being broken. Amy smoothly enters its throat.

Amy twists gingerly as the twin swords pierce her soft throat. With gurgling blood, the spear antler deer fell to the ground.

Immediately, Amy sent her long-range skill, Twin Wave Slash, flying to the spear antler deer's back and turning them towards herself.

Garum caught the two spear-antler deer's thrusts with his large shield and flicked them off with his shield bash, and then caught the following rush of the grass wolves in its entirety, three of them. Garum is having a push-off with the three snarling grass wolves.

Garum relaxed and stepped back to abandon the shoving match. The sharp lower part of the large shield stabbed into the head of the grass wolf, which stumbled forward, surprised by the sudden weakening of the push each other. He kicked the other one's torso away, and he quickly pulled the large shield out of his head and positioned himself again. Garum endures the spear-horn deer's rush, even though he floats his body a bit.

Camille and Amy quickly kill the spear-horn deer in a two-man blink and defeat the grass wolf who is about to pounce on Garum again. Camille's great sword smashed the spear antler deer's hind legs from the side as Garum blocked the attack with his great shield, and Amy pounced on the spear antler deer as it lost its stance.

''Rock Splitting Blade.''

The twin swords that easily pierced the spear-horn deer's skull pierced the brain. The spear antler deer fell down under the fatal blow and scattered particles of light.

The spear-horn deer stopped attacking Garum and turned back around and was struck in the head by his great shield, causing it to scream like a whistle and pass out. When Camille dropped its head with the great sword, the spear-horn deer made its body disappear while wearing particles of light. Then Amy picked up the colorless medium magic stone that fell with a potluck.

(I'm bored.)

Tsutomu lowered the staff he was holding and muttered in his mind while being wary of the area.

In the canyon, the poor visibility of the landscape makes it necessary to be vigilant about surprise attacks, but that makes it difficult for a series of battles to occur unless the battle is prolonged. While Garum draws all the enemies together, Amy and Camille take down the monsters quickly, sometimes individually and sometimes in concert. Garum doesn't collapse so much either, so by the time Tsutomu applies his support skills once or twice, the battle is over.

(Hmm......... At this pace, it's about the end of the day when we enter the canyon and update one level in time. (I'm sandwiched in between a fight or two to get Amy's shoulders under control, but maybe I didn't need it.)

While receiving Amy and Garum picking up the magic stones and throwing them over, Tsutomu stows the magic stones in his magic bag while thinking about it. Then the four of them float up on the fly and make their way through the forest, aiming for the Black Gate, which Camille has found ahead of them.

This time, we are attacking the dungeon to raise Amy's highest tier, so we don't have much in mind to defeat the monsters. So I have Camille, who has turned her into a dragon and applied a maximum of Haste, find the Black Gate first.

And after fighting once or twice to get the four of us used to working together, we were supposed to fly through the forest and advance to the next level immediately. The only monsters that fly in the canyon up to the fifty-fifth level are kidnapping birds and the wyvern that appears occasionally. So if you can use your fly properly, it's easy to find the Black Gate from the air.

After repeating this, we broke through the canyon without difficulty in the afternoon and arrived at the canyon on the fifty-sixth level. Amy is looking at the sheer cliffs with the palms of her hands over her eyes as if looking into the distance. With her at her side, Tsutomu began to prepare lunch.

After laying out a large slime mat on the ground, Tsutomu then pulls out a low folding desk. Then he set up a magic stove with a tripod on the ground. When he attached the fire magic stone to the bottom and put in some colorless rubbish magic stones, the fire magic stone glowed red and a long, thin fire stood out from the stove. I put the pot of pot-au-feu that I had been given to make after putting the net on it and waited for it to boil.

Camille and Amy watched Tsutomu prepare it, while they both sat gymnastically and swayed as if enjoying the feel of the slime mat. This is the reason why it's important to have a good time with this particular person.

'There were none in the visible area.
'I see. Thank you.
Well it smells good.

I don't know if he still remembers the last time Tsutomu jokingly mentioned it to Misir, but Garum is very much praising Tsutomu's cooking. Tsutomu inwardly wonders if it's still boiling hot enough to smell, but he takes out some colorless rubbish magic stones with tongs to adjust the heat.

Placing the cups that are divided by everyone's hair color on the low table, Tsutomu poured a pitcher of barley tea. Camille is red and Amy is white. Garum's hair is indigo because it's black with a hint of blue. After pouring the barley tea into his own black cup and taking a sip, Tsutomu prepares a plate while stirring the contents of the pot.

Tsutomu's notoriety has been put to rest by the apology of the Solitte company, and he has received all kinds of apologies from his former patrons. He has made up with the innkeeper, so even if Tsutomu doesn't cook, he can ask the cook to cook for him with money. Tsutomu, who is not particularly fond of cooking, doesn't like to get up early in the morning, so he gives the cook the recipe for pot-au-feu.

Tsutomu finished stirring the pot-au-feu with a ladle and warming it up with a variety of ingredients. Garum and Camille had already prepared the dishes and bread, so Tsutomu thanked them and started putting the pot-au-feu into a deep dish. The canyon feels a little chilly due to the high altitude. Tsutomu was looking forward to his meal, as the warm food he ate there tasted better than usual.

(I guess what Akiyama-kun from the climbing club said was true.)

Akiyama, a friend of his, who was in a mountaineering club at university, invites Tsutomu to go climbing. Tsutomu remembers the man repeatedly calling the cup of ramen noodles on the mountain good, and he thinks he'd like to go with him when he gets home.

When the meal was ready, Amy was sitting there looking itchy. She nibbles on a piece of bread and scoops up a spoonful of potatoes in the pot-au-feu as Tsutomu says please. Tsutomu, too, clasps his hands together and then puts his hand on the pot-au-feu.

There are many familiar ingredients in this world, but there are also a certain number of mysterious foods that Tsutomu has never seen before. Tsutomu eats the pot-au-feu, which contains some of these ingredients, and continues to eat it, even though he is surprised by it.

Tsutomu is surprised to find out that the pot-au-feu is very tasty.
It's been a while since I've had one, but it's still good!
Haha.....

Garum pouted and Amy agreed with him as they proceeded to eat. Tsutomu smiles awkwardly, and Camille looks at them and blatantly sighs loudly before putting her spoon on the desk.

'Tsutomu. Is this really the pot-au-feu you made?
Yeah? Right?
There's a sudden increase in the amount and variety of ingredients, and most importantly, the amount of salt is a little high. The details are completely different from the standardized flavoring we've been used to. Perhaps they had someone else make it for them?
''Well you understand very well. I don't think it's going to change that much.

When Tsutomu sipped his pot-au-feu to check the taste, surprised at Camille's fine point, she smiled, relieved that her own guesses were correct. Amy beside her looked away awkwardly, and Garum looked down with a despairing look on his face.

'I'm pretty confident in my cooking, too,'
'Wow. That's great.
Hmm. Now I'll make lunch for you? Next time you come to my house, you can come to my house and store it in a magic bag.
Oh, really? I appreciate that.
'Then I'm going to try making pot-au-feu too. Maybe you could give me the recipe in person sometime?
Yeah. Good.

Seeing them smiling at each other and talking about cooking, Amy sipped her pot-au-feu as if she didn't like it, and Garum was slightly dazed, losing the timing to apologize.

Amy couldn't get into their conversation because she had barely ever cooked, and she quickly finished her meal as if to show her frustration. Then she went to check on the canyon and got her gear together and left.

Seeing Amy's condition, Camille thought that she was young, but she finished her meal and started cleaning up the dishes. Tsutomu also finished his meal afterwards and watered down the dishes before storing them in his magic bag.

After that, Tsutomu decided to take a short break for about fifteen minutes, and the four of them discussed the matter with Amy, who was running around the area as fast as she could.

'At any rate, I feel like everything is fine for now, but do you guys have anything?'
Excuse me? Am I out?
I don't have one either.
Me too.
...It's over. Well, it's certainly on the up and up.

Tsutomu's shoulders slumped disappointedly at the three men's words. It was true that the battle in the canyon was going on without any problems, so there was nothing to reflect on. Once they had to fight a series of battles, but they were able to cross it without difficulty, so Tsutomu felt that there wasn't much of a problem in the canyon either.

'Well.......... Amy knows most of the monsters in the canyon, right?''
'Yeah. I've seen a lot of them in the first place. I get the gist of it.
'Then I guess it's not a problem........ Oh, please be careful with the paralyzing poison of the wyvern's tail. Especially if you eat it when you fly, you will lose control of your fly, so try not to eat it as much as possible in the air.
Yeah, okay.
Well, we'll just have to get used to it in the field.

Tsutomu laughed as if reassured by Amy's casual response. Even the three of them could have crossed over originally, so the burden was lightened by Amy's addition.

After the talk, Tsutomu lay down on the cool slime mat and stretched out with his hands up. Afterwards, Tsutomu was wrapped up in the mat by Amy and made to feel like a caterpillar.
