71-Importance of discussion

At dinner afterwards, Stephanie was given some advice by Tsutomu. And finally, she was told to plan and execute her own plan on how to defeat the Lord of the Swamp Hierarchy as the leader of this PT.

(Balance between being a healer and a leader, huh...)

Stephanie went back to the clan house while reciting in her mind what Tsutomu had told her to do, and first of all, she took the materials Tsutomu had given her and reaffirmed the structure of the PT. I also thought about my impressions of the PT members that I had felt over the past week.

The young men of the Twin Swordsman tend to be very proud and look down on jobs that are considered unfavorable. As a result, they almost always ignore instructions and often act selfishly. But as an attacker, his aggression was high for his level.

The Dark Knight's adult male appeared to be withdrawn and painful to talk to. He had no skills, but he would try to move when instructed to do so. However, he often stops moving when not instructed.

The holy knight woman is rootless and doesn't speak at all, like a puppet, and has no skills. This one also moves if you give her instructions, but if you give her detailed instructions, she often spins around, and her body often froze up due to her failure.

(The more I look at it, the more I feel like it's impossible...)

Stephanie stretched her swirly peach hair in a whirlwind as she looked at the materials she had put together. After that, she continued to look over the skills, characteristics and strengths specific to the holy knight and dark knight jobs written in Tsutomu's materials, but she didn't expect those two to be able to do it.

Stephanie has also been giving the two tanks as much technical guidance as she can for the past week, but she hasn't seen any signs of growth. So even if I told them about the dark knight and the holy knight's strongest skills operation and so on, I couldn't see a future that those two could do.

(From something simpler, right? ........Can Combat Cry do it? And we have to do something about that cocky attacker too...)

Stephanie spent a few hours trying to figure out how to make the PT work, and when it started to take shape a bit, it was already late, so she quickly went to sleep.

Then the next day. After a peaceful morning drill, the afternoon drill came. A grumpy attacker and Stephanie exchanged greetings with the two tanks, who looked lifeless as usual. Then they moved to the swamp hierarchy and started to attack.

They come face to face with several monsters. Stephanie flew her protection to the two tanks first and then instructed the dark knight man.

''Rigas-san! Combat Cry, please!

Stephanie flew instructions to the dark knight, Rigas, and he unleashed a frightened combat cry that drew the hate of all the monsters. Stephanie then turned to the holy knight woman.

''Dorthia-san, please go to cover Rigas-san.

Stephanie also instructed the Holy Knight, Dorsia, to move it, and then flew instructions to the attacker who was fighting the large frog-shaped monster, Flogger, as well. However, the attacker's one decided to ignore the attacker completely, so Stephanie gave up on giving instructions to the attacker.

'Airblade,'

Stephanie flew an airblade to avoid accidentally firing at Rigas, who was surrounded by a pack of floggers, and punched a hole in the group's floggers. She flies a heel to Rigas, who has slipped through that hole, and checks the battle situation again.

(The attacker still looks okay. Those two are moving now, too. (Let's see, the protector has about........forty seconds left, I guess)

Stephanie had stopped letting him grant haste this time, focusing on protection and recovery, and stopped flying support to the attacker, and only doing recovery.

What Stephanie felt yesterday after looking at Tsutomu's three role theory again was that she had to make the tank work anyway first, or else she wouldn't be able to talk about it. Without the tank's combat cry, monsters would react to the support and recovery skills and come to the healer. If that happened, they wouldn't be able to support, and managing seconds would be incredibly difficult.

So Stephanie gave up on granting Haste for a moment and instead focused on skipping instructions to the two tanks and stabilizing Combat Cry.

'Protections, Dorcia-san. Shoot the Combat Cry, please! Mr. Rigas, please work with Mr. Dorsia to keep the monster at bay!

Unlike the attackers, the two tanks will move somewhat if you give them instructions, so Stephanie put her protection over the two tanks and let the instructions fly. Rigas and Dorcia didn't reply, but they moved as instructed.

Although they have been hit by a series of critical attacks from the poisonous face spider (Poison Spider) and the poisonous bee (Bloody Bee), the two tanks are able to withstand some of the critical attacks because of their jobs and their high VIT (sturdiness).

'Medic, high heel. Mr. Rigas! Combat Cry, please!

Stephanie instructed Tank anyway to make sure the combat cry didn't cease. And then she let the two tanks heal incessantly. She heals them both in their poisonous state with the Medic and heals their necks, which were deeply bitten by the fangs of the poisonous face spider.

(d*mn, mental strength, that's tough.)

Stephanie felt sluggish in her body as she continued to fly her recovery skills to the two tanks, so she took out a bottle of blue potion in her pocket and took a sip. After drinking a bit of that refreshing blue potion, her mental power was restored and her body's lethargy was blown away.

MND (Mental Power) is necessary to activate skills, and when it starts to run low, symptoms such as physical lethargy begin to appear; even if your MND drops to zero, you won't die, but you'll feel extremely drowsy.

If it's a standard blue potion, you have to drink an entire bottle, but if it's a forest apothecary's blue potion, you only need to take a sip. Stephanie quickly closes the lid and sends a medic to the two poisoned tanks. But they are both poisoned again by the venomous stinger of the poisonous bee in their faces.

(Isn't it poison all the time!)

Stephanie flies a medic at the two tanks in disgust, but she quickly returns to her poisoned state as she is hit with a series of critical attacks.

(........what a waste of mental power.)

Stephanie gave the two tanks protection and healed them with her heels, and then she and the attackers who joined her took down the monsters. And the first round ended without anyone dying.

Stephanie was a little pleased with the good start, but she heeled the two injured tanks and resumed her search while talking to them a little.

But then Stephanie misjudged her eyesight while firing her airblade and once the tank was dead, and after raising, the battle became as hectic as before. Stephanie sighed involuntarily as her attacker was also dead while she was taking out the swamp monster while getting hit a few times.

However, after instructing her to reduce her support skills and let her fire Combat Cry on a regular basis, the PT was becoming more stable.

But still, Stephanie had run out of protection many times because she wasn't used to releasing her support skills while giving instructions. And it was hard to tank like the poisoned state was a normal state. If she had to heal every time she got poisoned, her mental strength wouldn't last, and if she left the poison too long, the tank would die and she would have to use a raise, which would result in a melee.

After looking at the two tanks, Stephanie remembered the advice Tsutomu had given her: share the problem with the PT members and discuss the solution. Stephanie had been told at dinner that it was the job of the whole seeing healer to take the initiative in doing so.

Stephanie has never been very good at voicing her opinions herself. In her previous white mage standings, all she had to do was figure out how to buy time after reviving her allies with a raise, and even after the spread of the three roles, Stephanie had let the PT leader do those things for her.

But since Tsutomu had told her that she was the leader in this PT, Stephanie exhaled as if she had made up her mind. Then she headed towards the two tanks.

'Um, may I have a moment?'
What? What is it?

The dark knight man named Rigas made Stephanie's shoulders bounce with a jerk when he spoke to her. Stephanie couldn't help but chuckle at Rigas, who had the frightened look of a herbivore staring at her like a predator, but continued to speak.

''About the poison, but as it is currently, our mental strength is tough to deal with. That said, if you don't recover, you'll be in a tough spot too. So if you want me to recover, I'd like you to speak up.
Oh, really?
..........
..........
"...what? I'd like an answer on whether you can or can't.
'Yes, ah, yes! I can do it!
Oh, okay. Okay, let's move on to the next one.

Stephanie was surprised to see the volume of her voice suddenly increase as Rigas finished his discussion and began his search.

 --▽▽▽--

The search for the swamp continued to progress over the next few days. There was still a lot of PT collapsing and brawling, but at least it was better than the devastation of a week ago.

Besides, after a week or so, the tankers were able to figure out some of the timing of releasing Stephanie's instructions and so on, and their movements were beginning to show some improvement.

'Mr. Rigas. Comba--
"Combat Cry.

After being instructed to do the same thing over and over again for a week, the two tanks had naturally begun to optimize their movements. Although their standing against monsters hasn't changed that much, it's easy to improve at least the timing of shooting Combat Cry. Stephanie's instructions were also simple: the two tanks would take turns releasing Combat Cry.

'Miss Dorcia,'
"Combat Cry.

Dorsia unleashes a Combat Cry when Stephanie calls his name, attracting the flogger with a little bit of disgust. And Rigas is also in support of Dorsia, albeit poorly.

The two tanks were already releasing Combat Cry just by calling their names. And once Stephanie was too busy raising the attacker and not giving him instructions, Rigas, the Dark Knight, was unconsciously releasing his Combat Cry.

Stephanie was surprised. It was because that doll-like Rigas, who had never moved without giving instructions, had moved of his own volition and released his Combat Cry.

Stephanie approached the dark knight Rigas, who was breathing as if the battle was over and relieved. Then he jerked his shoulders and looked at Stephanie.

''Rigas-san. Your combat cry from the battle earlier was pretty good. It was helpful. You can use the Combat Cry as you wish in the future if you feel you need it yourself.
Oh, really?
Do you have any requests, Mr. Rigas? So far you haven't seemed to raise your voice much during the poisoning.
No. Are you okay? Is?
No, no, which one is it?
'I'm fine! Keep it up!

Stephanie held her mouth in a funny smile, and Rigas replied loudly, though shyly. Stephanie nodded as if she was accustomed to his loud voice, and then turned her attention to the Holy Knight, Dorsia.

'Do you have anything for me, Dorsia-san?'
No, no, I don't think so.
'I see. .........Um, I'm sorry if I'm wrong, Dorcia-san, but you're not good with floggers?
Eh.......... Why?
'Looking at it, he was quite a bit more hunched over than he was with the insect-type monsters, so I thought he wasn't very good at it.

Stephanie says this while twirling her own hair, and Dorsia replies while looking down like a wilted flower.

''Oh, ... yes. I'm sorry that bump made me feel uncomfortable...''
'Yes. It's definitely creepy! I was sick and tired of it at first, too.
'So, sir! It's disgusting, isn't it?
Okay. Then I (I) and Mr. Rigas will take care of the floggers as much as possible. Mr. Rigas, is that alright?

When Stephanie turned to Rigas, he nodded his head, acting suspiciously. Then Dorsia's face turned up slightly as if her expression had slipped away.

''........Are you sure?''
'But I'd like to see some insect-type monsters instead, please. I'm especially bad at poisonous-faced spiders (poisonous spiders).
Yeah, yeah! Isn't she cute! That round monocular and all that stuff is just awesome! And that belly face is so different from one individual to the next! Isn't that awesome!
Oh, yes.

Stephanie pulled away from Drusilla, who suddenly stood up excitedly, but listened to her desperately trying to tell her how cute the venom-faced spider was. The warty frog and the big bug were equally disgusting from Stephanie's point of view.

After that, as they continued to go through the battle, discussing several times while crossing the day, Rigas and Dorsia's expressions began to lighten up a bit. And even during the battle, I could hear not only their voices chanting skills, but also their calls for recovery.

By the seventeenth day, the relationship between Stephanie and the two tanks had become good, and it was beginning to be noticeable in battle as well; the two tanks, who in the early days of the PT would only move as instructed, were starting to move spontaneously.

Besides, the two tanks had recently begun to move vigorously and could be seen at the training grounds in the Clan House. The clerks and others were surprised to see the two men in the training grounds after being so lethargic.

But the attacker was still acting as selfishly as ever. Stephanie had seen what was going on and called out to him afterwards, but she had given up on the attacker because she couldn't understand his language. But after several battles in which the attacker died, a turning point came.

'Hey! Give me some support!

The Attacker man complained about how many times he had died without getting support only for himself, and he loudly commented to Stephanie. The two tanks backed away as if frightened by the Attacker's loud voice, making their shoulders bounce up and down.

But Stephanie was completely unfazed by the attacker's man and answered immediately.

'I don't like it,'
Huh?

The attacker's man replied to Stephanie's immediate response in a loud voice, but he immediately turned into a grin as if to say he had a weakness.

'Oh, you feel like you can't possibly do it? Even that one Stephanie from the army could do it!
I just don't listen to you because you don't listen to me.

In fact, Stephanie was already capable of putting on an attacker if only for protection. She's also improved a lot in the last seventeen days. Her recovery and support skills have improved in the morning training, and she's slowly starting to learn to grasp seconds. Her parents were concerned, though, when they saw her spontaneously letting the seconds slip out of her mouth when she returned home and spinning her support skills around herself all the time.

Plus, she'd been able to get back on track many times during afternoon drills, even when two PT members died and the battle lines collapsed. Throwing herself into the midst of the busyness has broadened her horizons and has allowed her to get the job done without stopping to think.

But the attacker's man seemed to see that as an excuse.

'Don't push it. You can't, can you? All right, all right. I'm sorry.
You must kill the monsters the tank attracts, one by one. As long as you can do that, we'll give you the support skills.
...you're a white mage, aren't you? I'm a swordsman.

Stephanie looked away from the attacker's man, who turned on his heel despite whispering and mumbling, as if he was staring at trash.

''........Stephanie-san. My eyes are scared, sir.
Oh, I'm sorry.

Stephanie chuckled when Dorsia told her that, fogging up the swordsman's mood. At first, Rigas, who had been frightened by the attacker's man, was even more frightened when he saw Stephanie's gaze.

And after that, the attacker man only attacked any monster he saw at will in the battle afterwards. Stephanie didn't fly her support skills at him either, but only flew her protection at the tank.

(...Good.)

And Stephanie was relieved to see Tsutomu on the sidelines.
