97-Feather tank

Tsutomu, who went along with Daryl's equipment collection afterwards, asked the dwarf craftsman to prepare equipment for the volcano while he was at it. To tell the truth, he would like to ask for cold-resistant equipment, light and dark resistant equipment, and corrosion-resistant equipment, but he couldn't do that because the people around him would obviously be suspicious of him.

In the recent Stampede, Tsutomu referred to the Dragon Banquet, an in-game event, and provided information on countermeasures against the Black Dragon Thunder Dragon and the Violent Dragon. However, after the stampede was over, people wondered where Tsutomu got this information, and rumors started to circulate that he might have intentionally sent the dragon to the Maze City.

The rumor was denied by the defenders of the Sollit Corporation and the security team that received the information, but since then, Tsutomu has been attracting attention from various sources. It was obvious that if he continued to show his knowledge of the game, they would be even more suspicious of him. Therefore, Tsutomu decided to follow up with a major clan to capture the dungeon for the time being.

Daryl's equipment would be ready in about a week or so, so until then, Tsutomu's clan, the Infinite Circle, would not be active. That week or so will be devoted to recruiting clan members.

As for the tank, I'm going to meet the bird-man fist fighter first, which was in the document Aldoret Crow gave me. Aldrete Crowe made all kinds of arrangements, so we're planning to meet him the next day. But the problem is the attacker.

About half of the jobs other than the elementary and intermediate tank positions had died due to the previous stampede, and the attacker Tsutomu was going to invite had died as well. With that, the attackers he had set his sights on were gone, so he had no ate to invite them.

However, Diniel came in as an attacker for the time being, so there was no problem with starting the activity with the worst beginner attacker. So Tsutomu is going to go to the guild and recruit a clan member for the attacker.

''This, here?''
Yeah. This is the Clan House.

And after ordering the equipment Tsutomu was showing Daryl the clan house. Diniel had already finished carrying his belongings and lived in his assigned room, and Tsutomu had also moved his belongings from the inn to live there. Daryl lived in the apartment complex that Garum lived in before he became a guild employee, but he finally decided to move when he was told by him yesterday to move quickly.

Tsutomu was also a little concerned, but Daryl adored Garum as if he were a parent. That's a good thing, but Daryl has always followed Garum around like a puppy, and I've always worried that he wouldn't be able to stand on his own. But he listens to instructions and has an honest personality, so I didn't think it would be a problem.

Daryl seemed to be amazed at the size of the solid three-story clan house as he looked up at it with round eyes. It was built to comfortably house around ten people, and most of the facilities are in place and cleaned. It's an excellent property that's very close to the guild.

Tsutomu unlocked the door and entered the clan house, followed by Daryl. The particular smell of the wooden building makes Daryl wince as he follows Tsutomu down the stairs. It's a very good idea to have a good idea of what you're looking for. Although he is treated as an adult in this world, he still has a childlike appearance to him.

I'm going to have Daryl use this room. I can remodel this room at will to some extent.
'Yes! I understand!
Well, you can do what you want when you're done packing. Oh, here's your room key and the key to the clan house.
'Yes! Thank you!

Daryl received the two keys on his collar and bowed his head with a smile.

'Okay, I'll be in the living room on the first floor of the Clan House for a while, so if you need anything, just call me.
Yes!

Saying this to Daryl, who sounded cheerful, Tsutomu closed the door to his room and headed to the living room of the Clan House.

Then he sat down on the soft sofa and pulled out a document from his magic bag on the desk in front of him.

(I can't think of a plan of attack without all the PTs together...) ) For now, I'll just focus on the monsters in the volcano while preparing new information. As for the article to submit to the newspaper I'm good to go).

The two newspapers that Tsutomu had been working with were steadily growing in strength, and they were making even more money by interviewing Tsutomu after the stampede. They'll be able to make more money by interviewing Tsutomu after the stampede, and they'll be able to grow on their own. I'm sure they'll be able to compete with Sollitte if they are both at the same time.

They'll be able to get rid of Tsutomu from the two companies by defending him when he was suspected of being a reporter during the stampede and when he was suspected. But now that his goal is almost complete, Tsutomu thinks that he should change his attitude towards Solitte at this point. It's better not to make enemies, because too much of it would only cause animosity.

(Though I doubt they'll be particularly active for a while.)

As for the attacker, Tsutomu is already trying to develop him from scratch, so he won't be back in the front line for a while. I don't think I'll be able to do much in the way of activities during that time, so it doesn't matter if I'm being interviewed by Solit Co. I've already submitted most of my good stories to the two companies.

Tsutomu continued to organize the paperwork with information while making something to snack on afterwards, and when Daryl finished organizing his belongings, he left him in charge of his absence and headed to the guild. Then he asked the receptionist to recruit attackers with the clan members, and after looking at the monitor, he went home.

The next day. Tsutomu was visiting the Clan House in Aldoret Crow. The clerk there showed him inside and showed him to a room. Inside the room was a simple room with only a desk and a chair, where a small woman, a bird-man, was sitting nervously.

Tsutomu had seen the bird people in Silver Beast before, and he'd seen them around town a few times. And the two bird people at the Silver Beast had feathers that covered their arms and were bird's feet. But the girl sitting in front of me now was a different type of bird-man.

She looked almost identical to a human, her legs were normal and her hands were the same. But it had bright blue wings sprouting from its back. Its wings were uncomfortable and moved slightly.

She was dressed in what looked like a folk costume and was a little too revealing, with a cloth wrapped around her large breasts to hold them in place. Tsutomu feels a little sorry for her eyes, but he curtsies and takes a seat in the front chair, while the clerk woman sits down next to him, placing her papers on the desk.

Then they faced each other as if they were conducting an interview, and the clerk next to her opened her mouth as she looked at the papers.

'Her name is Hannah. Her age is seventeen bird people. Her job is a fist fighter. And she wants to be a tank. A copy of her status card is here.
This is Hannah, by the way. I look forward to working with you!

The girl named Hannah, who had taken a big bite, turned her face down in embarrassment. She hurriedly looked up at Tsutomu as the office lady coughed as if to tell him to start over.

'Hannah! It's nice to meet you!
Huh.

The office lady let out a blatant sigh at Hannah, whose tone hadn't changed despite the fact that she'd been taught respectful language beforehand. Hanna held her head up to say that she remembered that now, or that she'd done it. Tsutomu looks at the two of them and returns the words.

''Yes. It's nice to meet you. The fact is that Luke-san told me about Hanna-san before and I was very interested in her, so this is the reason why I asked you to visit us. Thank you for taking the time to make time for me today.
No, no, no, I'm not much of a person! Please stop!

Tsutomu's fame had originally spread among searchers due to his defeat of the fire dragons and guidance to the major clans. In addition, after he was recognized by the nobles as the one who contributed the most to the Stampede's victories, his fame quickly spread to the common people as well. Therefore, Hanna seemed to recognize Tsutomu as someone on a cloud, and she was afraid to bow to him.

'This time I came to recruit Hannah-san to my clan. However, I'm sure you've heard the story beforehand.
Oh, yes. Luke told me about it. And I heard that he's going to use me as a tank. But why would you ask me to do it?
'Of course, because I see potential in Hannah as a tank.
I heard I'm famous for my fatal tank. There's no chance of that.

Hannah looked down as if she'd given up, and the blue hair that had been standing there in her sleep bounced up and down in a heap. She had been trying to tank since she left Aldoret Crow until now, but she hadn't been able to make any headway.

The three roles that were previously not that prevalent among the explorers that far down the line were starting to get some attention as the Stampede raised Tsutomu's profile. Especially in the last month and a half, the three roles that Tsutomu has spread over the past month and a half have become much more widespread, to the extent that even novice searchers are now familiar with them.

It's a good thing that the guilds have been recruiting for PTs for some time now, and the words tank and healer are gradually appearing on the list. It was a pleasant miscalculation, as Tsutomu thought that it wouldn't spread to the explorers below until Aldoret Crow pulled out of the Red Demons.

And Hannah, who had been training alone until then after passing Aldoret Crow, had happily jumped on the bandwagon and formed a PT through the mediation of the guild. But lately, Hanna has been unable to make a PT due to her bad reputation.

Light as a feather and fragile, Hanna's tank is fragile. Hanna is despised as a feather tank. Hanna is small in stature and her job is to be a fist fighter. In addition, she is a bird person, so her VIT (Viciousness) is not high. The bird-man race tends to have low VIT and high AGI (agility), and she was the lowest VIT of the bird-man race.

In fact, she's trying to imitate Garm's stance with her large shield and tank, but she doesn't know how to use her large shield first. I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

''That's right. I've heard of it. But I took that reputation into account when I invited you to join me.
...Why are you so obsessed with me? I'm sure Tsutomu-sama can find someone better than that to join the clan, can't he?
There are two reasons. The first is because I genuinely believe in your abilities. You have the ability to tank. The only thing that needs to change is your current equipment and routine.
..........

Hannah's eyes remained wary, as if she didn't believe his words. Tsutomu scratched his cheek, a little troubled by her gaze.

'Secondly, well, I wanted to save Hannah personally. Do you know what I was called in the beginning?
Are you a lucky boy?
'Yes, that's it. I had a hard time getting a PT at first because of those two names, too. You're a lucky guy and your LUK is a D! They refused to let me join the PT because of what they said.

Hannah stared at Tsutomu, who was squinting nostalgically at her. The lucky one. Hannah knew for sure that Tsutomu had two names like that.

'I was lucky enough to meet Garum and Amy, so I got by. So I'm hoping to save Hannah, who is in roughly the same situation, too.
But he's a great guy, isn't he? I'm a complete disaster.
"...why do you continue to tank, Hannah?
What?

Hannah raised her downcast gaze at Tsutomu's question. Tsutomu opened his eyes slightly and looked straight at Hannah.

''I heard from Luke that you were an excellent attacker. It's not that, it should be easy to get out of this situation. All you have to do is play attacker.
...it's
''Even though feather tanks are two names that make it hard to form a PT, you're still a tank. Why is that?
..........

Hannah's gaze wandered as if she was lost, but she quickly looked at Tsutomu's eyes as he stared back at her. A reason to continue to tank. That kind of thing is obvious.

''........because I thought it was good.
Yes?
Because I think it's cool. I thought it was cool to see Garum-sama not fall down against the fire dragon!

Hannah sat up and let the blue wings on her back flutter excitedly. So when the wind that woke her up caused the papers to roll up and the clerk woman stared at her, Hannah quickly stopped her wings in a hurry. The clerk woman was the one who had been on the PT's advisory board during Hannah's tenure at Aldoret Crow. She had a good deal of familiarity with Hannah.

And Tsutomu nodded to Hannah, who sat down.

'I see. That's a good motive. Then why not come to my clan? Plus, we'll have Garm later on.

I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make the most of it. But Tsutomu didn't laugh and wasn't particularly taken aback.

''It's nothing to do with Garum-sama. ........But do you really think I can do the tank?
'Yes. But you can't do that with the way you look like Garum. But if you're not, you'll be able to tank if you have the right equipment and attitude. What do you think?
"...If I could do anything to make a tank, I would! We'd love to have you!
'Really? It's nice to meet you too. However, we will be taking a trial period of one week, so if you feel it's not a good fit, you can leave.
Okay.
So let's get to the contract.

Tsutomu submitted the application form for clan membership and Hannah wrote it down, and the clerk checked it for any deficiencies. The clerk also gave his approval, so Hanna was given a trial membership to the Infinite Circle.
