244-I don't understand at all

'Whew. I'm tired, tired.

Amy, who had become popular here and there since she performed with the musicians in the royal capital, had just sold her face in various places while helping to maintain security. Unlike the Labyrinth City, the lack of a divine platform was a blow, but she still had the potential and motivation to rise to the top on her own.

(If she became popular in the royal capital, maybe even Tsutomu would turn around!

With that thought in mind, he was working hard today on his business rounds in the King's capital and practicing a few popular songs. When Amy returned to the inn, she found Daryl in the lobby, talking with Corina as if he had won a treasure chest.

'You're in some kind of great mood. What's going on?
'Oh! Mr. Amy! To tell you the truth, sir--

Amy asked Daryl in a light-hearted way, her eyes getting sharper as she listened to him. And as soon as she finished listening to Daryl, she took Diniel, who was in a shared room, and rode into Zeno's room.

'We're going to have an emergency meeting!'
You know what? You're not answering.

Zeno, who had been lazily reading an academic book given to him by his peers at the school, gave a startled look to Amy, who had gotten in as soon as he unlocked the door. And Diniel was half asleep as Amy dragged him along with sleepy eyes.

'Tsutomu says he's going to have dinner with Daryl for the holidays when he gets back to the labyrinth city!
...Is that what the emergency meeting was about?
This is an alarming situation! Tsutomu has only ever done God's dungeon thing on his days off! But going out to dinner with Daryl has nothing to do with it! Daryl, you were second stringers last time! And I'm pretty sure Tsutomu has never gone out to dinner with anyone alone before!

Amy misunderstands what Daryl said a bit, and she's biting her teeth with an impatient look on her face. But Xeno has a look on his face as if to say what's the big deal.

'Daryl must be a man. I don't see a hint of manhood in your twom.
'You might take the opportunity to have dinner with other people as well! It's weird around Tutum, too! Like little Amira and little Hannah! There's something fishy about Leleia, too, these days!
Is that right?
'Yes! And it's so blatantly obvious that Stephanie was a disciple of Tsutomu's! Also, Eunice, you're scaring me! Ughhhh! What was that situation? It's not fair! I wanted to be like that, too! It's because Xeno stopped it!

Zeno looks troubled as Amy protests with tears in her eyes. Indeed, Zeno stopped Amy from almost jumping out of the way when he saw Tsutomu being caught, and instead he saw Eunice, the golden investigation healer, jump out of the way.

And it wasn't hard to see what Amy was saying. Honestly, Xeno didn't think Tsutomu would be willing to throw away his own protection to help Eunice, but he did nonetheless. And the scene was a beautiful one, even from Xeno's point of view. No wonder Amy, who had a fondness for Tsutomu, envied such a scene.

''So, you're here to complain to me?''
'Yes! So help me at least! Xeno, you're married and you know all about that!
'Well, that's all well and good, but I'm sure you're more familiar with Tutum than I am. I don't think I have anything to advise you on, though.

Zeno stepped that the one who was closest to Tsutomu would be Garum. But he knew that Garum and Amy were as incompatible as a dog and a cat, so she wouldn't just want to borrow Garum's help even if she died.

As Xeno was troubled by what was going on, Amy shook Diniel's sleeping shoulder to wake him up.

'Dini-chan! I want to hear this on behalf of the lustless! I don't know of any way to make Tuttom goofy!
Hmm.

Since elves are known to have a low level of greed by nature, Diniel has the same feeling as Tsutomu. The first time Amy forced him to wake up, Diniel looked deeply uncomfortable, and then reluctantly sat up.

''It's not that I don't have desires. Knowledge and sleep are important to me. I just don't care about anything else.'
...What do you mean?
Interruption of sleep makes me angry.
Ajeejeejeejeejee!

Diniel pinched Amy's cheek and then let go a bit. Then, after a missing stroke, he continued his story.

'Tsutomu gets angry when people interrupt him about God's dungeon, too. Maybe he was angry about this Stampede too.
What do you mean?

Amy, stroking her tingling cheeks, listened as she laid down her cat ears and listened to the story. Xeno, too, bent forward to listen, perhaps a little more interested in what Diniel was saying.

'But that stampede is over and the interruption is gone. So I didn't loosen up. Just then, Daryl invited Tsutomu to join us.
...You mean, it's a coincidence?
'Well, I'm not a twom, so I'm just guessing. It's just that I get a good appetite after I go to bed, too. Then I'm going to bed.

With that, Diniel left Zeno's room and went back to her room. Amy looked away from her and grumbled and held her head in her hands.

'I don't know! I don't know what happened to Tutum anymore! What am I going to do? If it were a labyrinth city, I'd be very popular, but Tsutomu doesn't pay attention to me at all! Ugh! Why?
''Well I'll do what I can to consult with you, but it might be quicker to ask my wife. I'll ask her when we get back to the Maze City.
'What? Really? Thanks!

Amy looked up and thanked him, looking up at him with her eyes, which was cute enough to make even the married Zeno guffaw at her. But Tsutomu certainly didn't seem to be flirting with Amy, so Zeno was once again left wondering what to do about it.

 Hmmm.

Three days later, only Melcho and the vice-captain of the Labyrinth Conqueror's Squad, who had been missing, arrived at the royal capital. In addition to those two, there were several searchers and knights, but they were told that all of them had been killed in action.

The carriage transporting Melcho and his second-in-command to King's Landing was suddenly caught in the collapsed ground and dropped underground. Orvis was most wary of Melcho, so he had set an elaborate trap on his way to King's Landing.

Melcho and his second-in-command were surrounded by monsters in the pit where they were dropped, and although they managed to fight them off, the area around them was full of insect monsters. It was like a maze, a complex nest dug out like a maze. Besides, the cavity was made very fragile, as if they were wary of Melcho's magical fist. Because of this, Melcho couldn't use his powerful Demon Flow Fist, so the group took time to explore that nest and seek an exit.

They wandered through that maze for roughly a week, using insect monsters as food along the way. But in that nest, the knight and even the searcher were killed by the monster.

Hungry from lack of food and disoriented from lack of sleep, they were dragged deep into the nest by a horde of monsters. If they tried to help, they were likely to fall prey to their own prey if they fell backwards. They had managed to get to the surface yesterday at great cost, and today they had arrived in King's Landing.

And as for Brooklyn's treatment, he betrayed her in front of many people, so she was sent to a cell in the basement near the royal castle without a trial. However, because of the barrier magic, it would be dangerous to carry out the death penalty in public, in case it were to happen, so she would quietly close her life in an environment where magic would never be granted.

Orvis's body has been deposited in a research facility in the King's capital, and as for Mina, she is currently being held by Weiss, who is keeping a close watch on her. She is being interrogated in a high-security area for information as the person who knows the secrets of Orbis' unbelievable former human abilities. However, Mina has been very cooperative and seems to be talking about whatever is being interrogated.

That information will not be released to the public, but after a little more time of interrogation, it will be disseminated to those involved.

Five more days after Melcho's return, the searchers were invited to the castle by the king of the capital.
