298-Pride as a healer

While hunting the fallen angels and Meme that appeared on the 89th level, Tsutomu was performing support recovery as he checked the movements of the PT members. The first one he was keeping an eye on among them was Hannah, the avoidance tank.

When advancing through the light and dark hierarchies, he was fully partnered with the clan members, so he was also supporting and recovering Hannah, but he did not partner with her when challenging the Winter General. It's a good idea to be able to have a good time with your friends and family. This is especially true for Tsutomu who does not want to die.

'Countbuster!'

Against Hannah, who has been granted Fly and is still moving in the air in every direction, Tsutomu is making use of his flying, placing and shooting skills to support and recover. Although he also used other forms to try it out, it was still easiest to deal with Hannah with the placing skill.

''........Why are you able to guess so accurately?''

Diniel, who had been adjusting her new bow until the Mutant Shell Club PT disbanded, was testing out against many monsters since today was the last day to adjust it. Leleia, who had left the rest of the monsters to her, was waiting near Tsutomu and asked with a curious look when she saw how he was applying his skills without missing a single shot.

'I watched Hannah's movements themselves on the divine table, and I had her gather some material from the labyrinth maniacs. Now all I have to do is predict her movements and put her down periodically, and Hannah loves hazing, so when she sees the blue chi, she'll rather jump in on her own. So it's not like I'm the only one matching all of my skills to that move.
'But how can you move so many skills? As I thought during the general practice.
'Some of the non-attacking skills are easier to move or something, aren't they? In fact, you can't change airblades and other offensive skills and stuff like that, like heels and stuff like that. I'm looking at other jobs and I'm pretty sure skills are spec'd like that.
How can you do that while talking?
I'm used to being able to talk and recover support at the same time.
Huh.

Seeing the supportive recovery skills being applied regularly against Daryl, Hannah, and Diniel while talking normally, Leleia replied in an out-of-touch voice. As such, Leleia had a salamander on her shoulder, moving her head as if she was getting into some kind of music with her two tongues chattering out.

'How's Leleia? Diniel and the attacker.

Undine, who was in the shape of a round slime to compete with such a salamander, also tried to climb up on his shoulder, but Tsutomu forced it into his right pocket with his hand. Watching such a scene, Leleia arched her eyebrows in annoyance, wondering how Undine didn't get mad at her.

''I hope he always fights like that,''
'Maybe he'll cut back when he's done adjusting the bow. I'm sure there's a part of him that's thinking about how far he can skip it.
''I was also working under the assumption that Diniel would definitely be chosen for the first army, but it's hard to understand why he's so strong with such a lack of motivation. He's an elf, so I'm sure he has more experience in combat than me, but I can't wholeheartedly agree with him.
'From an attacker's point of view, I suppose. I'd go crazy too if an unwilling healer was better than me.
No, it's probably more than that. And yet, how can you say that?
Okay, okay. Okay, I'll go get the magic stone.

He didn't care about Lee Leia's gaze that you want to tell me not to, and headed to collect the magic stones that had fallen in the vicinity of the annihilated monsters.

''Master! Your arm doesn't seem to have fallen off!
'You cut corners at first to see how I was doing. It's pretty brave of you to try something like that.
No, it's not! I'm not trying or anything, I just care!
I hope so.
'Moo! Bye! Next time, I'm going to go all out from the beginning!
Do what you want.

Hanna stepped on the ground in annoyance at Tsutomu, who didn't take her words as they were spoken, and went to collect the magic stone with a pouting, angry look. Then Daryl looked off at her with his arms full of magic stones and couldn't help but chuckle.

''Daryl seemed to be the same as usual. Keep up the good work on the ninety levels.''
Yes. But it's partly because of this armor, isn't it?

The heavy black and white armor that Daryl is equipped with came from the treasure chest of the 84th level, so it is naturally stronger than the previous ones. And as a heavy knight, Daryl's unique skills make his heavy armor feel light to the touch, so he can easily equip things that would undoubtedly slow him down if Garum or Xeno wore them.

But maybe that's why Daryl seemed to think that he was chosen for the army because of his good equipment, and he didn't seem to have much confidence in it.

It's true that the strength of the equipment is part of it, but the conditions are the same for everyone. So there's no need to worry about the equipment, and since I chose it, you need to be confident in it.''
''...But you don't use that black wand, do you, Tsutomu-san?
Well come to think of it, I suppose.

Tsutomu couldn't help but mutter and freeze at Daryl's dopey point. It certainly didn't seem very convincing to tell him not to worry about his equipment, as he hadn't accepted it despite Alma's offer to return the black staff to him. Tsutomu thought for a moment while he unfolded his magic bag and let Daryl put the magic stone in it.

''Hmm. I'm going to brag a bit, okay?''
Come in.

Tsutomu began to speak to Daryl, who held out his hand to give it to him, with a look on his face that was hard to say.

''Indeed, I think Alma now would be able to lend me her black wand if I ask hard enough. I think that would make it easier for us to go ahead with the dungeon attack. But I don't want to do that. You might think it's because of the black staff that you can advance to the dungeon, right?
Yes, of course.
I'm confident in my own abilities that's why I get that idea. I have no problem with the black cane or even without it. It's a good thing that you're not going to have to worry about it. Also, it's an annoyance to bow down to Alma and that's a small honor. Are you confident in your own abilities, Daryl? Do you think we're beating Garum?
No, sir!
You're early.

Tsutomu couldn't help but smile at Daryl's gracefulness in answering clearly and immediately.

It's not surprising that the difference in ability is filled by others. It's a good thing that you have the right equipment to do this. It's not important, it's a matter of what you do to make up the difference, and if you are able to assert that, then relying on equipment is not a bad thing. I'm sure I would also take the means to ask Alma to bow down and lend me her black wand if I couldn't be bothered to pretend," he said.
''Well that's certainly true! Thank you. But I was really proud of you, wasn't I?
I told you. So, the labyrinth maniacs will write me off as a Zeno-esque spout.

When I said that in a self-deprecating way, my eyes twinkled and I clenched my fists, as if Daryl didn't get it.

'Xeno-san may be a big talker, sure, but I'm working towards that. Besides, even Tsutomu-san has that much confidence in himself, and it's okay! Then I'll go get the magic stone!
"...what makes me feel encouraged?

Finally, Tsutomu, who for some reason became a form of encouragement, muttered that and looked away from Daryl, who ran while shaking his armor. The system of getting a luxurious lunch if you pick up a lot of magic stones is still in effect, so Daryl and Hannah are competing with each other to pick up the magic stones.

In the meantime, Diniel, who did not participate in the conflict, tossed one magic stone to Tsutomu while stretching himself absent.

''Does the adjustment look okay now?''
'Today is like a confirmation. No problem.
Yeah. Then go easy on yourself.
"Hm.

After the conversation was over, Diniel sat down on a stone statue that wasn't a monster and began to rest his eyes without checking the strings anymore. Apparently it was really just a check today, and the adjustments had been made.

Diniel has already gotten his new bow, as well as arrows with the attributes of light and darkness, although they are still in the prototype stage. They're not quite finished to begin with, so they're weak and don't work that well, but they still seem to be better than nothing, so he's using them.

(I don't have that much of a problem with coordination. Now if we can all do some research on the end of the line, I guess we can challenge it.)

With that in mind, we cut off the dungeon search early and spent a lot of time looking at the God's table of the end of the world and sharing our thoughts and strategies together. However, since Hanna can't remember it in her head, she needs to practice it in the dungeon or training grounds right afterwards to learn it, and Diniel was the only one who looked disappointed.

From then on, they shared information and practiced thoroughly about the end of their lives, and diving into dungeons had become the fastest way to take a break.

Then one day after two weeks had passed, Tsutomu announced to the labyrinth maniacs and others that he would challenge the ninety levels tomorrow.
