325-Ice conductor, melting

'Lord Tsutomu!

Stephanie was convinced on the ninety-first level that this was the time she had been born into this world. But the first thing she saw when she jumped up and woke up was not Tsutomu's smile, but a familiar white ceiling.

The infirmary in Aldoret Crow's Clan House. Stephanie, who was lying on the bed there, was briefed on her current situation by the guffawing medical staff.

Apparently she had slept like a dead man after she had passed out on the ninety-oneth level and had been bedridden here all day without waking up. After that, the female doctors checked my condition while they applied heels and medic on me, prescribed a potion to regulate the environment inside my body and reminded me to rest for today before sending me back to my room.

(...feeling a little lighter?)

I usually take medicines and other medications from a professional woman doctor, and I'm always supplied with good-for-you potions to drink every day. But today, the effect seems to be unusually good, in fact the body is lighter than usual.

Stephanie was lightly surprised by such a phenomenon, but opened the door to her room and instantly paled when she saw the picture of Master Tutom's face on the ceiling.

(Oh, greetings, no! (One day!)

The lady doctor said she was bedridden all day long, which meant she hadn't greeted Master Tutom for a whole day. Stephanie immediately ran to the sink to get ready for the day without being rude to Master Tsutomu. And when she looked in the mirror to get ready immediately, she gulped.

''Huh...?''

Stephanie's face had been healthy and well-groomed before she became an apprentice, but her habitual lack of sleep and unbalanced diet of portable food had left her looking very unhealthy. Still, she was able to disguise her appearance with the gore of her heels, but she couldn't get rid of the bluish circles that were floating under her eyes. Only in front of Tsutomu-sama did she wear make-up to hide it, but when she looked in front of the mirror, the dark circles under her eyes were completely gone.

The beauty effects of heels and medicines are now being studied, but the dark circles and blemishes that have become commonplace are hard to remove unless you take the time to do so. So, Stephanie was surprised to see the dark circles disappear after just one day's sleep, and at the same time, she was convinced of one thing: it's because of Master Tsutomu.

(Thanks to Tsutomu-sama........!

It's a good thing that you don't have to carefully remove shades of gray today, even though I was reminded that Tsutomu's influence on me is tremendous. You can also wear your clothes for the first time in a long time and check if there are no defects anywhere.

''........Huh?''

And when I was perfectly prepared, it was time to go back to my room to greet Tsutomu-sama, but for some reason, my heart wasn't stirred up as much as usual.

(.........why?)

In itself, nothing has changed. But somehow it didn't seem to be the Master Tutom that had been greeting her, and Stephanie tilted her head. Then, as she compared each of the photos of Tutum in the room, she noticed something.

(They're not all smiling...)

Tsutomu usually smiles on a regular basis, but it's often for the sake of better communication. But when it comes to God's dungeon, he instantly flashes a pure smile. And when Tsutomu directed that smile at her yesterday, Stephanie already saw Tsutomu as a faded one.

I'm sure you'll be able to remember every single word that Tsutomu said to me. I'm sure that I'll be able to find a way to make the most out of it. He told me to have a broader perspective with a slightly troubled look on my face.

"Hmmm...! Kuhuhuh...!

But it was really nice to hear you say that much. He understood and acknowledged my struggles better than anyone else. The master who embodied the miracle at the 90th level affirmed me as his disciple. His joy was beyond that of Master Tsutomu, who usually looked at me and received my greetings, but never actually gave me anything in return.

After hugging herself and writhing for a while, Stephanie suddenly came to her senses and turned her attention to the countless articles that had been posted.

''Broaden your horizons, huh...?''

This room is my healing place and a place to learn how to get around. And I didn't need anything other than the article about Tsutomu-sama and the instruction book he had given me a year ago. But Master Tsutomu did not say that this was the right path. He allowed me to follow my own back, but he told me not to look only at myself.

Stephanie walked under the picture of Tsutomu smiling on the wall and put her hand gently on it.

'Master Tsutomu....'

After stroking the paper with a regretful look, Stephanie carefully removed the article. Then, after giving it a light cheek rub, she gently placed it on the bed. After that, she carefully removed each article from Tsutomu-sama one by one, and finally made a pedestal for the barrier before removing the picture on the ceiling as well.

And after taking a glance at some of the collections that Tsutomu had bought from the store he goes to, he separated the ones that didn't seem necessary for now. When I spent several hours organizing my room, I realized that most of the items were related to Tsutomu.

''Well I'm going to miss you.

But I can't just look at Tsutomu-sama like I've been doing. To be honest, I don't believe I can surpass Tsutomu-sama. But since he even assured me that he would, I have to end my seclusion in my imagination.

It was sad to see my room, which had become much lonelier, but from now on, I will turn my attention to the others. Then Stephanie left the room, aiming for that day when she could stand shoulder to shoulder with Tsutomu.

 oo

'You don't look like an ice conductor. Master, are you going to be stabbed by your fans? Also, I hope Amy scratches my head off. Sshhhh.

The day after the discussion with Stephanie. Hannah is holding up her hand like a claw and making scratching motions as she spreads the picture from the article in the morning paper that says teacher-disciple love on it to the table. Next to her, Daryl is smiling and Diniel is nodding his head.

''I don't mind, though.

But Amy, who would usually get on with it with a half-eyed glare, was surprisingly tolerant. Hannah was disappointed in such a quiet Amy, and Tsutomu was also a little surprised.

(..............................She looks like she's up to something, and she's acting completely outwardly. Also, it's giving off a sense that she's not able to hide her anger.)

Usually it's a cat! But today, with a clear face, he's eating his body neatly with a knife along the skin grain. However, with his bangs up recently, I could see his temples twitching in an unnatural way. And along with that, upon closer inspection, the tip of the knife was often trembling slightly suspiciously.

(Well, it's better than being pestered as usual... but what the hell is he up to?)

From Amy's demeanor, he can vaguely guess that she likes him, but even so, Tsutomu doesn't want to make a deep connection in this world, considering the clan management and the fact that he is an otherworldly person. Therefore, if Amy was just being affectionate with him, that would be fine, but from the way she was hiding her anger, it would be different.

As I was watching Amy carefully, Corina, who was cutting up a piece of bread and dipping it in the soup, spoke to me without hesitation.

'Speaking of which, Tsutomu-san. You mentioned Nolt's name yesterday on the divine table, didn't you?
Oh, yeah.
He was much happier. Also, he thanked me for mentioning his name right there, so I just wanted to let you know.
'Ah, come to think of it, Nolt was in the same clan as Korina. Do you still interact with them?

The dwarven man named Nolt was originally the leader of a clan called the Wings of the White Strike, who was known as a white mage with an aggressive stand. However, Korina chewed the bread and swallowed it, and then made a face that was hard to say.

''Originally we didn't have that much interaction, but after Tsutomu-san was active in the ninety levels, I started being approached occasionally in the guild. Besides, after I saw yesterday's divine platform, I was waited on at the guild.......
I'm sorry about that.
'No. Oh, and one thing I wanted to ask you, where is Mr. Milway from?
'Oh, it's a second army healer with a golden probe. A silver fox man, who looks like Eunice's junior.
..........
Well, it's not hard to understand. It's like I've been helping Eunice develop her skills lately, and I haven't seen her on the God's Table.

The woman named Milway was the second healer of the golden investigation, a junior of Eunice's with a distinctive silvery coat of hair. She was currently being used by Eunice as a skill development assistant, and Tsutomu, who had been watching and checking out Kamidai for some time now, had bought her skills rather well.

''Oh, I made sure to mention Corina's name as well, so don't worry about that.
'Thank you for that. I know that's an excessive amount of credit, but...
''No, no. The PT led by Corina seems to be getting much better, and we are looking forward to breaking through the 90th level more than anything else, so please keep up the good work.
Oh, please stop pressuring me...
Keh.

When the joking pressure is applied to the horrified Corrina, Amira raises her abhorrent voice to get between them. It's a good idea to have a look on your face as if to say, "Don't mess with my girl," and Tsutomu shook his head, as if to say, "Oh dear.

''You don't have to look so scary.
You deserve this look for a bastard who thinks he's an apprentice, right?
'Yes, yes, I'm looking forward to seeing you in Amira. Hey Daryl?
Would you please stop talking to me only when you're in trouble?
Did you get that?
..........
I'll give you some meat to make up for it.
''Well this is fine for today, but don't expect it to always work.

Tsutomu's words haven't been so easily fooled lately, but he's not very good with bribes, and Daryl accepted the offered plate with a miffed look on his face and his tail wagging.

''I always thought Tsutomu's was small...?

Daryl's face stiffened in surprise as soon as he took a bite of it, despite his interest in a much smaller piece of meat that was different from what he usually ate. It is different from the chewy T-bone steaks that Daryl usually eats, and he was surprised to find that the more he chewed, the more juices flowed out of the tender filet of meat.

And when he couldn't resist and put the whole thing straight into his mouth and still squeaked it, Garum looked like a dumb little dog. It's a very good idea to be able to have a good idea of what you're looking for.

''Hmm?''

As we were having breakfast in such a loose atmosphere, the sound of chimes echoed through the Clan House. While everyone was nodding their heads in unison, which was unusual for such an early morning, a high-pitched voice came from outside.

''Open up here!
'Se-senior! What the hell are you doing?
''Well for now, it looks like we can ignore it until after breakfast. Oh, you don't have to answer it.

Tsutomu, who hadn't heard a lively voice in a while and was somewhat bummed out, stopped Oli from going to pick him up and resumed eating.
