345-Walk in from yourself

While Corina and her friends were searching for a way to save Fenrir and his son, Tsutomu and the rest of the PT were training to fight against enhanced goblins and slimes. But the faces of the PT members are slightly cheerful, and Amira is more than happy to share in their enthusiasm.

I'm finally getting used to it. It's a good thing that I'm not the only one who has to deal with this.
Thanks for the help.

Amira approached the end of the battle with a look on her face as if to say how she was, having stepped on the hasten that Tsutomu had placed a little bit apart during training and continued her AGI increase herself. Tsutomu, who thanked her for that, sighed inwardly and turned his heels above his head to distract himself.

(I guess everyone is getting used to the white mage healer by now. I don't have to match everything over here anymore)

Tsutomu had been observing the movements of all the members since he joined the PT that Korina had completed, and he had been doing supportive recovery while matching everything himself. However, he confirmed that Amira, who was the worst at adapting to people earlier, had also expanded her vision, and that the healer who flew instead of wishing for skills was becoming more comfortable with the PT.

There is no such thing as an ideal PT where all the moves mesh together from the beginning. In the first place, five people of different genders, ages, and personalities can't perfectly match their movements in battle. This is not something that can be done quickly even in a game, and it is even more so when it comes to real-life combat.

And the best way to fit in quickly with the other PTs is not to stand at the top and lead them, as you have been doing up until now, but to make an effort to fit in with your allies, seeing yourself as the lowest.

The PT members themselves are coming in as four fixed members, so if it were possible, he would normally want Garum and the others to fit in, but it would be quicker to change himself than to expect something from others.

Even though Tsutomu has established a relationship with Garum and Amy that allows him to exchange opinions on many things, it's still better to go and match up with them on his own. By doing so, there will be less impediment to cooperation, the battle will go better and the air will be better, and they will be able to walk up to him from that side, like Amira.

(Well, I can't help but hope for the best at first.)

However, it is very nerve-wracking and very tiring to try to keep up with everything. Especially when you're dealing with a group of monsters and you don't have a lot of time to spare, you're constantly frustrated by your allies' mistakes and unpredictable moves.

When Garum and Xeno, the tanks that are so important to healers, don't move the way I want them to, there are times when I have a poisonous thought in my mind that Daryl or Hannah would be stronger in this one. Amy's attention has been drawn to unimportant things, such as whether or not her equipment is too biased towards advertising, and sometimes I think about pointing my middle finger upwards at the foul-mouthed Amira.

But it's not only Tsutomu, but also Garum and the others, although not as blatantly obvious as he is. The four of them continued to challenge the ninety levels with the assistance of a healer named Korina for a long time, and after overcoming many hardships, they finally conquered it. While the unity of the five of them was growing stronger, Tsutomu came in as Korina's replacement, even though his abilities were trustworthy.

To begin with, the specifications of a healer are different between a prayer warrior and a white mage, so Garum and the others are also concerned, even though they feel uncomfortable standing around. If Tsutomu were to dump his inner poison on the PT members in such a situation, then naturally Garum and the others would have the slightest dissatisfaction from within. And it was easy to imagine that the atmosphere of the entire PT would deteriorate, and the battle would go even less well in the future.

That's why Tsutomu didn't express such dissatisfaction, and he was conscious of keeping his expression and voice from becoming darker. If possible, it would be best if he could create a natural, relaxed atmosphere like Korina, but if Tsutomu were to be plain, he would certainly create a gloomy atmosphere.

(I'm sure there's a lot of hardship here and there, but I'm envious of the humanity that can do this kind of thing in the bare minimum.)

That's where Korina's sheltered atmosphere and Lorena's natural cheerfulness was a talent, and Tsutomu returned the same gesture to Xeno, who was thumbs up after defeating the goblin, forming the same gesture with his heel.

'You might as well take it with a little more equipment.
'Oh. And that's what Mr. Tsutomu is preparing for.
"Smashing goblins feels great, but I keep missing them. There's got to be a better way.
I just want to be able to kill someone in one fell swoop. With a gulp.
(I'm even more aware of that now that I'm here! Whatever it is, it's a live dungeon! (And I'm glad the same theory came through).

The speed of growth of these four people, who are doing their own trial and error without being told by anyone, is fast, and yet their expressions are not bad. In this situation, Tsutomu remains as a consultant and doesn't give excessive advice, and until the four of them adapt to the situation, he is dedicated to creating a good atmosphere for the battle to proceed smoothly.

Tsutomu didn't have a personality that made him popular to begin with, nor was he interesting enough to become a central figure in the clan. He wondered how he would be able to fit in easily to the PT. Tsutomu's conclusion, which he came to after much thought, was to produce good results.

It's impossible for a PT whose results are increasing steadily to become a cushy atmosphere, unless there are very special circumstances. And if healers do their work without making any particular comments that would harm the atmosphere and stabilize the PT, a peaceful atmosphere will naturally start to flow. If that happens, it's obviously more likely that they'll walk up to you, rather than trying to strut their stuff and try to get the conversation going.

(Air purifier I'm an air purifier.)

Tsutomu's "Live Dungeon! I was well aware of this from my experience in the field PT and the occasional top-tier PT in the field. So I left the role of enlivening the conversation to Zeno and Amy, and Tsutomu was committed to the air purifier.

 oo

Perhaps because of the work of such an air purifier, today's dungeon exploration ended with the PT's condition continuing to rise steadily. Then, as usual, I returned to the guild to finish updating my status card.

'Oops. Tsutomu-kun, do you have a moment?
Hmm? What's going on?

After returning from the divine dungeon, Zeno, whose face was clipped and he immediately said goodbye and left, beckoned to me on his way today. Then, as if in discomfort, he ruffled his silver hair and narrowed his eyes as if he were proud.

'I opened a good bottle of wine for my wife's wedding anniversary last time, and I still have some left over. I'm thinking of opening one here at PT soon, since we're going to have to do that.
'Oh, I see. But I'm not that much of a wine guy, but...
That's not a problem! I'll teach you in person!
''Well then, I'll ask you for help. It seems like Amira and others like it too, even though she's a weak drinker.
'Oh? What did you say?

As Amira, who was unexpectedly mentioned by name, approached with a sullen look on her face, Tsutomu told her about Xeno's proposal. She looked amused, and Garum and Amy, who had been listening in on the conversation, came over to her with their animal ears twitching.

It's Marteau's wine. How did you manage to get so many bottles?
Oh, yeah, I heard that from my old lady. It's very expensive.
I've at least heard of it.
'Phew! I had to work hard to get that one! It was one of the items I was going to buy one day when I came to the Labyrinth City, so I've been eyeing it for a long time, and now I finally have it!

Apparently, a brand of wine called Marteau is famous in the labyrinth city, and when Amy and the others heard the name, they all showed interest in it. In the meantime, Tsutomu, who has never tasted any wine, even in Japan, was a little curious, so he listened to Zeno's story in silence.

''In that case, let's just open it today!
Yeah!
I'm gonna go show off to my grandmother.
Um, do you drink at the Clan House?
I suppose so. I've discussed this with Oli-kun once before, so it shouldn't be a problem. Then go home first! I'll go get the wine!

Zeno, who walked with great enthusiasm to break the wind with his shoulder. And Amy and Amira who are talking about how much fun it is, and Camille who is proud of her daughter and has a somewhat coveted look on her face.

No, you don't want me to get your hopes up. I don't know anything about wine to begin with.
I want a Marutho too!
'I see. Buy and drink it yourself.
'It's not something you can buy that easily... and that's not fair! I need a drink too!

I'm not going to buy a drink, but I'd rather spend it on dungeon-related equipment than let Camille take me for a ride, so Tsutomu said sardonically. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make the most out of your time with us.

'Have you ever had a glass of wine or something, Garum?
'I don't drink much. I do have the occasional drink that is a little stronger.
Heh. Is that what Mr. Doren and others drink?
''Ah. ........Come to think of it, I haven't seen Tsutomu drinking alone much.
'Basically, I only drink for socializing. I don't dislike drinking with people.

As soon as he said that, Tsutomu happened to see the tail that began to waggle in the shadows created by the setting sun, and when he saw only the expression on his face, he involuntarily looked at Garum, who had a straight face, as if he was dumbfounded. When Garum noticed his own tail wagging under Tsutomu's gaze, he stopped it with a light hand.

'There are many people who mistake it for something, but just because it's wagging its tail doesn't mean it's in a good mood. If you observe dog people on the streets, you'll know that their tails often wag naturally, even when they're not thinking about it.
'Oh, really?'
..........

Surely Garum's words may have a point, but the look on his face that hid his embarrassment was not convincing.
