405-epilogue

Uh....

When Tsutomu opened his closed eyes, the first thing he saw was a keyboard covered with a cover to prevent dust from clogging it for smooth operation. The empty energy drink can next to it was also caught in his vision, which made Tsutomu realize that he had really come back to reality.

And while squinting at the glare of the computer screen he hadn't seen directly in a long time, he was inwardly relieved when he looked at the western calendar to confirm that it wasn't different from his own memories. Although I don't remember the details anymore, the date itself was still in the middle of summer vacation, so perhaps today was "Live Dungeon! It was like the day after I had cleared a hundred levels of the

(Long dream ... not exactly a long dream, I guess.)

When I checked my clothes as I raised my leaden body, which felt quite heavy, from the chair, Tsutomu was again relieved to realize that it wasn't a dream because it was still in that world.

If he really did return to reality as it was, then he might eventually believe that the events of those years were just his imagination. But if the real thing is still around, I wouldn't have such doubts.

(It's been a while since I've had something Japanese. I'm pretty sure I've bought one of those a long time ago...)

Then Tsutomu carefully stored the white robe and the ridiculously heavy magic bag he was wearing and changed into loose civilian clothes, and began to prepare the instant miso soup and rice that were just before the expiration date on the shelf.

(...the rice is good.)

And I got a sense of relief from having a meal with a familiar taste after a long time, and so on... I had a series of impressions just like Japanese people who came back from a long trip abroad.

(But I regret it after I came back..... Anyway, my body is heavy.)

But while I was finally free of the frustration of having to return to reality, it was also true that I had a lot of regrets.

The quality of sleep is poor due to a chronic lack of exercise and staring at an LCD screen all day long, and Tsutomu's body is like the embodiment of an unhealthy bean sprout, eating only instant foods and tricking his brain with energy drinks to finish his meals quickly. That was the default since high school, so he hadn't noticed it until now, but when he returned from that world, Tsutomu was shocked at the difference.

And since he'd been living with someone else for nearly two years now, he felt quite lonely being alone in this room when he returned. Right now, I just wanted to meet someone and talk about something practical, but there was no one in real life that I could be comfortable with.

And most importantly, the lack of a dungeon where he could show his power added to the shabbiness. Perhaps because of this, Tsutomu took the train to his parents' house, which he hadn't been back to since he entered college, despite the fact that it was already getting late at night, out of loneliness.

The scenery outside felt fresh and new, as if everything he saw was a dream. It's a good thing that you're able to get the most out of your time with the help of a good friend.

''What? Tsutomu, what's going on? Unusual!
..........
You look all sweaty. Come on, get in there.

His mother was surprised at Tsutomu's sudden return after a few years, but she welcomed him with open arms.

For Tsutomu, this reunion with his family is only a small part of his journey back to this world. But when he saw his parents in front of him, he was still emotionally moved by their presence, and he was glad to have come back.

Tsutomu regained a certain amount of composure after staying at his parents' house until the next day, and promised his mother, who tried to keep him there, that he would come back next time.

(Maybe I'll have a clue if I clear it again by myself. .... but well, I need to practice getting my instincts back. (My fingers are pinched)

Tsutomu, who couldn't dismiss that possibility, tried to start a one-man PT attack using one computer and four laptops again, but two years apart, it was difficult to make smooth operations suddenly.

''Heel ... medic ... wow, he looks like a badass.''

I've been thinking about this as I look down at my own natural inclination to say such things every time I operate the healer, and while thinking that, Tsutomu regained a sense of control after a couple of days and started to attack the 100th level again.

(Impossible....)

A week or so after that, he attacked the hundred levels again with his PT, but nothing like before happened, and his shoulders slumped. Even though he felt absurd about the god-like thing that called him to that world without permission in the first place and didn't show any sound when it was time to leave, Tsutomu closed his laptop.

(I'll try to look for it until the live dungeon is out of service, but if that seems impossible, I'll have to leave it to Garum and the others....... If that comes to pass, I'll have to retrain my body for the next three years. If I'm going to go with this body again, I'll be an encumbrance. (For now, let's start with what Garum taught me...)

In the current state of addiction, where your body can't move as well as you'd like and your head can't move properly without caffeine, "Live Dungeon! And he couldn't even find the potential in

Then Tsutomu started to retrain his body to be busted out in two push-ups, and "Live Dungeon! But I began to examine it to see if anything else had changed. But I couldn't find any changes, so I went straight to "Live Dungeon! The time has passed until the end of the service of

(Surprisingly, people do come at the end, don't they? Well, nothing special.)

I thought it would be just me and BOT on the last day of service, but a few people came to log in here and there on the main server. But that was probably just to see how things were going, or maybe it was just to see how things were going without much chatting going on, and people were just logging out of "Live Dungeon! Tsutomu was forcibly logged out of the server as the service was terminated at 0:00.

(Finally, there's no more clues. What will we do?)

He also examined the robes and wands brought in from the other world, as well as the magic bag that had been reduced to a cloth bag containing only gold coins, but he couldn't find anything of note, so Tsutomu was at a loss.

He prepared for the fact that he would be called back in three years time. You have to pay back at least the scholarship, but isn't it impossible to earn money for just three years? It would be easier if I could redeem that gold coin, but it's an unknown source.... (I guess I'll just have to figure it out on my own)

Nevertheless, Tsutomu's parents have enough wealth to let him live on his own for four years in college, so the problem is how to say goodbye to him when he's called from another world. But if you are honest with him, there is a chance that he will understand to some extent. It's much better than Diniel and Leleia.

Compared to that time when I had to fight against the unknown blazing old dragon, I have a lot of leeway now. At worst, even if you don't earn money, you won't die, and there's still plenty of time left to act.

There are more things to worry about when I return to the other side of the world. Diniel, who thoroughly lied and misled me right there, might seriously kill me when I return, and Amira and Leleia won't be quiet about it. They've had a nasty feud with Xeno as well, and I'm not sure if Korina can make it as a healer of the infinite circle.

At the very least, Garum might still be around, but it's also possible that the Infinite Circle itself has been disbanded. Even if I was able to return in three years' time, the attack hierarchy would have advanced by then, and the situation would be tougher than last time for me to catch up with the front lines again.

(Which is the reality...)

Blurting this out, Tsutomu packed his bags and stepped out the front door to prepare for the next three years.
