343-Promise Day II

After lunch, they returned to the city, this time looking shop by shop. Of course, we were on our way back, and that's where we couldn't get around in the morning. There is no way you can go around all the shops in the city center in one day, even if you say you can go door to door. It would take several days to get around, no matter what route we chose.

Once you enter a large shopping mall, you will be stuck there for hours. But it may be a dream come true for women. After all, there was enough charm there for women to stay for hours.

Loki would stop every time he saw the clothes on display in the show window.
When he had a lot of money, he could have bought her all the clothes she liked. But even if he could do that, Loki had a feeling that he didn't want to.

So Ars decided that if she would stop, he would stop and look at it with her.
It seems that Ars wasn't the only one who felt Loki's fantastic beauty, and if she stopped, the shopkeeper would rush over at a glance, as if he'd just found a golden tree. It's a good thing that you're able to get a good idea of what you're looking for.

It was somewhat amusing for Ars to see Loki's panicked appearance at the slightly pushy service of the clerk.

Every store has a beautiful silver-haired girl trying on clothes, and they praised her as if they were advertising her loudly. Of course, Ars isn't a dexterous personality that can use a sycophant, so I'm going to be frank with you.

Although it's a bit of a cliché, the racy lines about how beautiful you are and how well you look good came out so naturally that it was like this. It was as if the vocabulary for compliments was pouring out of my mouth like hot water. No matter what you wear - although there is a size issue - you will look good in it, so it can't be helped.

In addition to that, there is no such thing as an ill-fitting outfit when coordinated by the shopkeeper. However, the clerk changes the color of her eyes and piles up the clothes one after another.

''Oh, that I........don't ask for that much........''
Don't worry - let your sister take care of it I won't hurt you. Bring me something to drink! The material's so good it makes my arms ring.

Kneeling in the fitting room, the female clerk tapped her ample breasts dependably. All of the female employees in the store were very generous with the customer service. Maybe it wasn't even a customer mascot already, but a kind of self-satisfaction on the part of the clerk.
Either way, it's more than enough publicity, considering the fact that other customers keep coming to the store to try on Loki's clothes. It's not just my imagination that I've become an exclusive model.

The sweet breath that leaks out every time she finishes dressing fills the store. However, the reason she had no choice but to change her clothes may have been all for the purpose of appearing to Ars. Loki's small courage, unaccustomed to being the center of attention - all the embarrassed gazes that she should have wanted to deflect were directed at Ars.

The clothes he tried on, all of them, Loki had no intention of buying. So, to be honest, you can't afford to go any further, but there is no way you can compete with the sophisticated sales smile of the shopkeeper. However, the shopkeeper took me for a ride, and then Ars, and it didn't seem to be a bad idea to turn into a dress-up doll.
In the end, I had no choice but to choose and buy some clothes, but the woman, who is probably the store manager, quickly overheard me.

You can pay for it. I have to pay you a gratuity... so take it as a thank you.

The clerk, who seemed to be clothed in cleanliness, smiled as if he was satisfied and then added in a whisper, "I had fun too.
The clerk who hands the shopping bag to Ars also notices that she is also a companion and thanks her for her help.

As Loki comes out of the fitting room and finishes putting on his shoes, another clerk rushes in from the back to bring him a dress. It was a glittering dress that was probably meant to be worn in a social gathering or some other place where you wouldn't have any connection to it. It was not the kind of dress that this store deals in.

''Could I ask for this one last thing?
Hey you....

The woman who was the manager of the store, who must have considered Loki's hassle of getting ready to leave, strongly reprimanded him for his speech. However, the dress the staff brought was an off-the-shoulder, backless empire dress. It switched from just below the bust to a skirt, and although it was called a dress, it was also a casual design.

The large ribbon attached to the waist makes you think so.
She pleaded with a face that looked like she was about to cry that it would definitely look good on the petite Loki.

''I'm sorry,''

Loki bowed his head apologetically. She smiled somewhat painfully and touched his shoulder once.
 It's........a medal for being a mage. But.........as a woman, it's just a scar.

Even so, the heat of the woman who was desperately trying to bite down on it was only increasing. Even the manager, who was supposed to be rebuking her, was being pushed by her spirit and was breaking down. For someone involved in the clothing business, he might have felt a sense of fate for finding the person who looked best in this dress.
To top it all off, even the store manager was begging for it.

From the conversations that persuaded Loki to buy a dress, the clerk seems to be the exclusive designer of this store and, in fact, the brand.

It's a good idea to be able to have a good idea of what you're looking for when you're ready to buy.

 Immediately after--.

''--!
I'm sorry. Is it about time you returned it to me? It's my first day off in a long time...

In a gentlemanly tone, Ars grabbed Loki's arm and pulled him closer. With a smile that may or may not have been made, he gave an implied rejection to the clerk.

It was the woman in charge of the store who took it in - in this case, it should be said that she has regained the civility of an employee that should be there.
She straightens up and apologizes, saying, "I'm very sorry for my mistake. "I appreciate your time, sir...

Loki, who reacted with a twitch and an understandable response, can be felt even through his arms.
The clerk who brought the dress to Loki, who dropped his gaze and turned over, also bowed his head, following the manager's lead.

Perhaps feeling a little bad about it, Loki shows the clothes he received while clinging to Ars's arm.

''........Thank you for this.
No, no, not at all. Please come again.

The store manager then sends me off with an affable smile. The store was already empty of models and long lines of clothes worn in the show had been sold across the board. For that reason, though, the nearby stores are temporarily empty.

They must have been caught for a long time, and the sky had already completely switched to night. Nevertheless, every street is dazzlingly bright and busy.

The two of them walked in silence. Ars abruptly stopped and scratched his cheek white.

'Sorry, I forgot a few things. Sorry, can you wait a minute?'
'Ha, yes. That's fine but what did you forget?

Ars couldn't offer a good word to Loki, who had a frank question in mind. He felt a headache after he said that he himself had "forgotten", so he didn't think about the future.
There may have been any number of good pretexts, but it can be said that Ars doesn't even know this kind of language. If you have never used it, there is nothing to come out of it.

As if to abdicate responsibility for the solution, Ars turned on his heel and ran backwards through the waves of people.

This might be the first time he wanted something other than something related to his research -- he secretly asked the clerk earlier to reserve the dress for him because he was feeling the embarrassing aspect of it in a casual way.

--I'll have to do something with the request as soon as possible.

But unfortunately, due to the fact that they hadn't left the store too far away, Loki could see exactly where Ars had gone in. Of course, Loki could see that it was the right thing to do to ignore and pretend not to know.
