345-Promised Day IV

We finished our dinner at a fast food restaurant we found on the way home. Perhaps because it was this late, the atmosphere was not very popular and calm.

If asked if it was good, Ars would probably give a creepy, affectionate smile. It's not that the food was bad, just that it was reasonably priced, that's for sure.
However, I can't help but take my hat off to the fact that what Ars wants in a good meal is reproduced on a plate like this. In the end, it's enough to satisfy the minimum amount of nutrition and a little bit of belly.

Loki's dinner was a typical dinner for the two of them as they analyzed the food in various ways. There was no more banter or conversation than was necessary, and due to the quietness of the restaurant, they only exchanged a few words of idle conversation. It's not that I have a complaint about the food - of course, maybe Ars was the only one who thought so.

As if the wrinkles between Loki's eyebrows gave off an air of complaint at any moment, he unexpectedly asked, "May I have some? And excuse me for reaching for Ars's plate," he said, making sure no one was looking and taking a bite.
I don't have to tell you how much I appreciated it as I swallowed it without chewing much.

Fortunately, it was only meant to be a light meal, so there was nothing left over, but on the contrary, Loki's reaction was interesting and Ars couldn't help but peek at the girl across from him as she ate.

In the end, once it's in your stomach, that's all there is to it...although your appetite will probably be reduced.

It's not that this is a day that fades away, but rather it's one of those memories that you'll never forget.

"It was a terrible experience.

On the way to the research building, Loki let such resentment overflow without power, and heaved a great sigh as if resigning himself to what had passed.

'It's good, it's just so normal.

I answered casually that the word "normal" seems to carry more weight than "ordinary" or "human-like". It's a philosophical and emotional impression, as if to say that it's the best because it's normal.
Considering the fact that I lived in the outside world for a long time, it may be a straightforward value - although it may not be normal.

I guess I'm just happy to be able to look at the accumulation of such trivial events.

Loki slowly closes his eyelids and affirms it in his chest. Not long ago, this was unthinkable. The happiness of a world full of deception that has followed Ars away from the military. It's not a busy world, because ordinary, mundane experiences can cause so much emotional turmoil.

It is also now a world in which the differences that distinguish between the internal and external barriers have been removed so that the differences that distinguish them are only a remnant. It is only a matter of time before the deceptions start to project reality. Removed birdcages dilute the boundaries for human traffic. The value of the day was bound to soar.

Slowly, with the speed of the wind pushing them back, they returned to the Academy at night.
The trees within the survival area that were exposed to the outside climate were already scattering their leaves due to their nature. Rapid changes in the environment could not be helped once or twice. That is exactly what happened to the outside world, where they would only adapt after nearly a century.

'Yes, that's true. It might as well be something normal and not so special with it. So may I invite you back?

There was no shame in Loki's eyes as he casually tried to secure his next appointment. Maybe this chilly temperature is cooling her heat.

''Sometimes....''
'Yes! Sometimes.

The happy expression on her face could easily be detected from the sound of her voice.
Even though it was within the academy's grounds, there was no way anyone would be there at the time, and there were no students walking out at first. Looking around, there was no sign of anyone. The street lights that dimly illuminated the road ahead illuminated the scaffolding along the curving road.
The sound of rustling leaves was small and gave a small boost to the back - even a small boost of courage from the girl....

When the research building was in sight, Loki quickened his steps and stopped in Ars's path.

'But........today was a special day. So thank you. Al.
You're welcome.
"So, you know...I mean...thank you...or rather, show it by your actions...

Sluggishly, Loki looked up at Ars with a superior look. His face was filled with a heat that never cooled.

'There's no need to thank me. It's just that Loki helped me a lot. This much is a small price to pay.
No, no. It's not.........d*mn! Yes, Al. Can I see the tea cup I bought today?
Here? We'll be at the lab soon. Then it's good to go.
Please.
Phew, just as you wish.

I unfolded a very heavy bag from among my three or so bags. Neither the light from the street lamps nor the moonlight at night could illuminate the inside of the bag. In order to look into the contents of the dimly lit bag, Ars inserted his hand and bent down.

There were several packed boxes, the smaller one was probably a cup.

'So which one do you want to see?'

As he said this, Ars peered into the dimly lit bag.

Taking a breath, really just one breath of extra emotion, Loki takes a shallow breath to calm his mind.
With Ars rummaging through the contents of the bag, Loki drapes his hair over his ears and moves closer to his side. There was nothing unnatural about any of it. I moved closer to see for myself as a response to "which one do you want to see? I'm sure Ars must have thought so.

It's a good idea to be able to have a good idea of what you're looking for.
It's not just a matter of time before you'll be able to get your hands on it.

A faint touch can be felt through his lips. The strangely raw touch makes Loki feel real, and he gently closes his eyelids as if to surrender to it.
It was just lips touching, a playful touch. Still, a favor with the maximum act that Loki could have right now.

However........it was also an action that she could perform after being aware of it.
In other words, in this momentary time, Loki suddenly thought. A sense of discomfort that blends in with the time because it is filled.

According to Ars himself and, in addition, Letty, he had always been well received by women.
What I'm trying to say is that Ars was strangely accustomed to women. In other words, he was popular with older women.

In fact, Ars was often cared for by women, especially in the unit to which he was assigned from an early age. He was not a cute kid, but perhaps he was a kind of comfort to the women who ran around the battlefield. If you want to get to the bottom of it even further, when you are a woman and a wizard who goes out into the outside world, there are not many people who think that their happiness as a woman is cut off.
It's a good idea to have a good idea of what you're looking for.

It's a good thing that you're not going to have to worry about a mere kiss between your lips.

Immediately after thinking that, a strange rivalry arose within Loki.
The actions from this point on were close to a spontaneous impulse that Loki himself could not explain.

Immediately after parting her lips, she lewdly gave Ars's cheek a lick with the tip of her little tongue.
If I had to give an onomatopoeic sound, it would be something like "perrot"....

And then Loki's face suddenly turns bright red.
I even felt as if my actions were being manipulated by someone else.

"Hey....

Glancing in, Ars's eyes held a question that was different from surprise and confusion.

'Wait a minute, why did you lick the last one?'
Uh, well, you see, I don't know.

His voice shrinks to a whisper and he refuses to explain it. Even Loki himself is unable to explain it.

In order to block the gaze of the quizzical Ars, Loki turned over with a reddened face. He shrank his body as if his bangs were a shield.
I was in the mood to scold the pounding of my heart, which was pulsing like crazy.
It must have been my mind, I thought. My mind controlled my body, my heart soaring like an idiot, and my face was so aware of my shame that it felt like it was about to burst into flames.

But she knows that both of them are none other than Loki himself.
So if she could give him a reason, if it was one of those haunting scenes he'd never experienced... what little courage she had to resist to stay in her mind.

'Huh, so you're done with the cup then?'
'Why are you so nonchalant about it...'
Well, if it looks like that, I'll do a little better in the world.
Well I don't know what's going on here, but...

Even though the heat in his face hadn't cooled down, it wouldn't be rewarded if the courage he had wielded disappeared like residue. It wasn't likely to be the same again, but still........

'Well, as expected, I've never been licked on the cheek.

Loki's cheeks lifted slightly at the unlikely sight, scratching his cheek and looking away. It was impulsive at times, but it was still good that it didn't end up being pointless.
If she used words, she could surely convey her feelings to him; if she showed him through her actions, she could convey her feelings. It's not a matter of which is better and which is worse.
Neither one of them is good enough to make her wishes come true.
