347-(Provisional) Demon Monster

Demon: A mysterious creature that appeared 100 years ago. It devoured and destroyed the previous era, leaving behind a tenth of the human race. Its outer shell is so strong that conventional weapons cannot kill it, and it uses magic as its main fighting force, stopping the demon invasion at the water's edge.
Its life history is unknown. It possesses a magical core, the source of its life.
If it dies, its body collapses in a short time. The blood and magical residue from the demon will attract other demons.
The threat level of the demon is divided into eight different rates.
 SS→S→A→B→C→D→E→F

A demon's strength is equivalent to its rate, but it can evolve in a peculiar way depending on the amount of magic it takes in. A generic term for monsters that have changed their shape and gained strength from normal species.
Mutation rates are created by cannibalism and chemical reactions based on magical information from prey.

Once a demon takes in magical power, it does not act as a predator for a while. They do not turn to prey for a while after taking in magical power, as it replaces the magical power they have acquired as their source of sustenance. However, they are exceptions, and the generic term for demons that have fast digestion and take in magical power at an alarming rate is called "Bad Food.
All the currently discovered 【Bad Food】 are SS-rated.

The formation of take-down teams by rate is based on the past manuals.

SS Rate]: The mere appearance of one of these creatures threatens the extinction of the human race. Kronos, which appeared 50 years ago, and Demi-Azur, which was defeated.

Kronos: The first confirmed SS rate in history that appeared 50 years ago. It was a dragon shaped demon that wiped out all but one of the single wizards of the time, causing massive damage to humanity. It is said to have caused unparalleled damage in the past, and after successfully fighting it off, it fled to heaven. This is the general consensus.
Only a few people are aware of the fact that he is said to have had one of his arms chopped off.

Demi-Azur, the Abomination of Disobedience: This is the first SS rate confirmed in 50 years. It has wiped out a battalion of magicians, equivalent to 70% of the Balmes nation. Named by Arus for the way it parasitizes and feeds on its own kind of demons and becomes lonely. He was defeated by Arus.

Jormungand: A giant serpent that produces a rainstorm that disturbs the body's magic. It does not see to the edges, and its length is such that it can hide in the mountains like a roulette. It carves its markings on its targets.

[S-Rate]: The appearance of one of these snakes is enough to endanger a nation. The formation of a single wizard is a prerequisite for opposing it, the equivalent of a country's main strength. In addition, it is not expected to appear as a single entity, but rather to deploy a large defeating force of high-ranking magicians.

No-name non-existence/no-face (variable demon): a slender, vine woven body that looks like a straw doll. The face has a cavernous hole in it. The presence is fixed in space, so it is important to see it, and it must be seen by two or more people. It is the S-rate for a single player, and the A-rate for multiple battles.

Siren: A demon clad in wooden leather like a robe. The real threat is the special sound waves emitted by the siren that affect other demons, which can lead to a major invasion. They are the highest priority target when they are found.

It is assumed to be dealt with by double-digit "double" and triple-digit "triple" magicians. It is usually led by a three-digit "triple" wizard, or by a subordinate if it is a single or regular demon.

Dark Night Prowler/Night Walker: A wooden body that is about 3 meters long and looks like an old tree. In its hands it holds a lantern resembling a birdcage made up of branches. Its ecology is unknown, and it appears out of nowhere at night. Once spotted, it pursues them endlessly, and so encounters are sometimes described as a stroke of luck, especially among wizards. The rate calculation is for a single entity.
Many-legged demon: a half-human, half-animal demon with four beast-like legs on a human upper body.

Imperfect Beast/Yoff: A chimera with a monstrous bird upper body and a horse lower body.

Rut Serpent/Kutinawa: Contact with the Kutinawa will cause it to leave a trail of scales. It was named after its rut-like scales. It is a characteristic similar to marking.

[E-rate]: a low-rate demon. There are basically no missions that focus on these single targets, and they are defeated during peripheral surveys and regular patrols. These demons are relatively easy to defeat if you are a graduate student.

This long-armed monkey-like creature has skin as hard as a rock. It uses its long tail like a whip to attack.

[F-Rate]: a low-rate demon, similar to the E-Rate. However, they have the largest number of individuals, and sometimes they swarm in groups of the same species, perhaps because of their small size. Or they often belong to the territory of the higher rate.

Vellum: A petite ape-shaped demon with a face like an old woman's, long arms and short legs. They are black all over and only their eyes are red.
