34 . The spillover effect of Bun religion

A few days after the Bunn religion was recognized as the recommended religion of Liberty Village.
The Bunn people who had fled to various places had begun to gather in Liberty Village.

So far, there were about ten of them in total, including the Siyaka brothers and sisters, and except for the brothers and sisters, all of them were sub-humans.
Everyone in the Bunn religion has been going around early every morning, cleaning the shops and the area around the church, and the church itself has been cleaned up.
After that, they hold a sutra recitation, led by the Siyaka brothers and sisters, but when that is done, they all go off to work and are engaged in various jobs around the village.
They have been actively participating in the cultivation of the farmland, which is led by a young buffalo man and his wife, and have been a valuable asset to the church.

Most of the money for the church comes from the sales of Bun, a sweet shop run by Siyaka.
Many of the sweet foods here, known as dungo and silko, are unfamiliar to those in the royal capital, and have already become the talk of the town as a hidden gem in the Liberty Village, with strong sales being recorded daily.
When I asked Unja about it, she said
I often go there with Aura and Korok. I also have a loyalty card.
 And that was that.
........there's such a thing as a loyalty card....

As for the missionary work, they only leave handouts describing the teachings of Bunnese religion at the church and at the sweet bun store.
He said that he only explains to people who inquire about it, and that he does not actively solicit people to join the mission.

After a while, I went to check out the church.
Then I noticed a large, unfamiliar object on the altar that hadn't been there before.

Although it was shaped like an egg, it had some sort of wing-like object growing out of either side of it, giving it a somewhat distorted look.
I asked Ten, who was showing me around the church, to see what it was.
"When my brother was on a journey to the West to cultivate himself, he found these divine wings in the ruins.
In response, Shyaka nodded while clasping her hands together in silence.

Behind me, who was twisting my neck, Foldente, who had come along with me, was twisting his neck as well, "Ah........by any chance.......
As he said this, Foldente, who seemed to have an idea, ran out of the church.
After a while, Foldente returned with Lilpop, who was an apprentice guard.
When they arrived at the church and saw the deity, Lil Pop saw it.
Hi, isn't this "Magic Airmen"?
I said that and smiled happily.

As Lil Pop approached the deity, he stuck his hand into the back part of it.
Then the part of it opened up into a lid article.
Lilpop pressed a button inside it.
Then the egg-shaped deity began to emit light once, its wings extended to the left and right, and from the top of its head, a head-like part popped out, and the whole thing clattered and began to unfold in place.

Its shape gradually changed from its initial egg shape to a shape like a great eagle flapping its wings.

''Is this........a weapon of the demon world?''
A supplementary weapon, to be precise.
They are called "magic armored airmen.
By combining it with your own armored infantry, it can be given the ability to fly.

By the way, this magic airborne soldier is an unmanned aircraft that can be remotely controlled by the magic infantry.

''With a little adjustment, it should be able to be controlled by its own armored infantry, and it should be able to merge with them.
I'm not sure if it's too early to say so, but Lil' Pop is about to start working on adjusting his magic airman while rolling up his arms.

I hurriedly pulled Lil' Pop back in such a hurry.
Although its true identity is a magical airborne soldier, a weapon of the demon world, it is still a goddess in the eyes of the Bunn religion.

Whether or not it's okay to dismantle or modify such a thing so easily.......so I immediately explained the situation to Siyaka and Ten.

Ten is starting to get a big, huge glint in his eye.
'Our Goddess ... was actually a wing of righteousness to punish evil, wasn't she?
And I was moved in a strange direction.........
They were holding hands with a similarly moved Shyaka, who was crying tears of joy.
Behind them, all of the disciples who had gathered to hear the story were also crying tears of emotion as well as the two of them, holding their hands together as they bobbed their heads.

They graciously accepted the fact that Lil Pop might adjust and possibly use this divine body.

'Wings of justice are wings of justice only if they are used to protect justice. Who would refuse to do so?
Ten was still crying tears of joy.
He grabbed both of Lil Pop's hands and bowed his head over and over again.

 For now, that's why.
So the Lil Pop was a goddess, or rather, he was also given permission to adjust and work with the magical airborne soldier on display in his place....

..........or rather.......the ruins of a magical object lying around......maybe I want to go investigate it if I get the chance!

A few days after the incident with the deity

My lord, I'm making a rather troublesome request today, but...
Biblina, who had come as a caretaker of the Batcombe soldiers, came to the lord's room with a puzzled expression on her face.

What's wrong with her? So I asked him about it.
Some of the Batcombe soldiers want permission to come to the Bunyan church and worship there.

There is some foreshadowing in this.

 Previously.
Lil Pop, an apprentice guard from Liberty Village, overwhelmed and eradicated a party of heroes from the old Great Sword with just one person.

The story is said to be so widely known in the Batcombe Military Department that, although it has not been out in the open, no one knows about it behind the scenes.

That lillpop, it seems, has been infiltrating the Bunn church.

 Is Lil Pop a Bunnist?

Is the Bunn religion the god of warfare!

Such rumors are prevalent among the Batcombe soldiers, and as a result........

Well, it's true that Lil Pop spends almost all of her time outside of her patrol going into the Bunn Church and adjusting her demon airmen, but she's not
"I am a fighter-magician. I'm not interested in religion at all.
 I said.........

In case you're wondering, I told Biblina about that too.
"Yes, well....
Biblina said, and then she let out a loud sigh.

The soldiers coming from Batcombe are included in the militant, military faction.
Because of this, the range of activities within Liberty Village was restricted, and the settlement at the foot of Mount Gorn, where the Bunn Church is located, was out of their range.

 In case you're wondering.
I gave my permission on the condition that the Lords' soldiers, who are always moderate, and Biblina would accompany them.
'Also, please promise not to pick a fight with Lil Pop for the purpose of testing his skills.......this is just a word of concern for all the Batcombe soldiers.......'

 It is so.....
Lil Pop didn't mean any offense at all, but he was a bit of a quickie.
We will identify hostile action and immediately respond to, destroy and subdue it.
And then the overwhelming aggression... oh... just remembering the devastation at the scene of the complaint makes me a little giddy...

 At those words, Biblina.
I'm aware of that. I know as well as I can.
 He chuckled at that.

 This Vibrina.

On my first day in Liberty Village.
Is that you? Who says you're treating the hero of the great sword as a baby? Just imagine what kind of a man he is, but he's a very dickskinny little boy. I'd say that doesn't make the rumors any less believable.
That's what I said to Lil' Pop, and I put up a fight with him.

 Just one second later.

He had been knocked unconscious by that face slamming into the ground.

It was a bitter smile based on the experience of knowing firsthand.

************************.

The reputation of Bungyou is sublime.
The Bunyas do not ask for any offerings, and they rarely solicit people to join them.
For this reason, even those villagers who were skeptical in the beginning gradually accepted the presence of the Bunn religion.

Especially in Liberty Village, where there are many sub-humans, Bunnism, which preaches the coexistence and co-prosperity of races and sub-humans, seems to have been rapidly accepted.

The Bunnese who have been working diligently to cultivate the land in the dense work area are all earnest and dedicated to their work, and they have been received very favorably by everyone in the farming area, and this rumor has spread to the village as well.

At this rate, they're going to fit into everyone's lives in a good way.
It's a relief for the village that recommended it.

 ........just behind the scenes.
There have been reports of some suspicious people breaking into the church on several occasions, attempting to raid the interior and attempting to harass them.
These men had all been captured by Lil Pop, who had recently been sleeping in the church for the adjustment work of the Magic Airmen.

Without exception, the captured prowlers had all taken poison and committed suicide, and although their identities were unknown, it wasn't hard to imagine that they were probably from the hard-line Bobblebum religion, which was often hard-line.

The area around the church, I suppose, would be safe with Lil' Pop around.
There is still some unease in the direction of Bunn, the sweet shop on the street.
I asked the chief of the guards, Googus, to increase the patrol security in that direction.

I could only sigh, as I thought, that matters related to religion are not easy to end, I thought.

********

 That night.

As usual, I was wrestling with a pile of papers, even though it was long past my working hours, when Foldente came to me.

"Hey, there's something about the neighborhood that you should hear about.

According to Foldente, there is something strange going on in the nearby frontier cities of Batcombe and Greencombe.

 In Batcombe, he said.
Although they have been sending out their troops to the dungeons in Liberty Village one by one, the fact that some of the returning soldiers were so inspired by the Bunn School is said to have upset the upper echelons of the military faction, which is an enforcing faction, quite a bit.
They are skeptical that they might be nostalgic for the Lords, and some have even suggested that they should immediately stop sending the soldiers to the underground labyrinth (dungeon).
However, since the soldiers' opinion of the dungeon is so high, some people think that if it is cancelled unilaterally, the military faction might give up on it.

 In Greencomb, the
They are upset that the village of Liberty has endorsed the Bunn religion.
Apparently I'm being treated like a "saint who saved Greencombe from an epidemic" by the Greencombe folks - which is also why the Bobblebum sect wanted to embrace me - but I'm not.
If the village of Liberty, which I govern, encouraged Bunnism, was the saint a Bunnist? The story is spreading rapidly.
 At the same time.
The rumor that a Bobblebum bishop went to Liberty village to propose the establishment of a Bobblebum church, but was refused because he demanded an exorbitant amount of money for the church, seems to be spreading.

Well, in both cases, the spark that originally existed inside the city has begun to smolder.
 Foldente chuckles at that.

 I am.
We need to digest that kind of fire while it's still burning so that it doesn't smolder in Liberty Village.
 Then he laughed back.
