124 . Liberty Summer Festival Part 1

After resting for a while in the hot springs, I regained some energy and got back to work right away.

 Because
The summer festival, which had been postponed due to the intervening Urinacombe project, will be held.

 Nevertheless
While I was busy working on the Urinakombe case, Erdena, who has taken over as my assistant, was doing a lot of the talking for me, which was quite helpful, but according to Erdena, who was working on my behalf during this time.
''.........There is a problem with you doing all this workload all by yourself. It's an important job as a lord to allocate the work more appropriately........
And that's why I was pretty pissed off.

Part of me would rather do it myself than have someone else do it for me.
I have a habit of holding on to everything... I realize it's not a good thing, but it hasn't improved much, and I feel very bad about asking people to do things for me...

 Just.
As Erdena said, this is something I need to fix in the future, and I'm thinking again.

Now, in the meantime, we're having a summer festival in Liberty.
The main venue is the street in front of the town hall.
We will use this central square as a free zone, and here we will accept stalls from other cities.
We will ask Black, who is in charge of the wholesale market, to coordinate these stalls.
Black is already in charge of the wholesale market and has access to trading companies and vendors from all over the country.
But honestly, I have no intention of doing business with them.
 I've already told Black that.

It may be a cheap and idealistic theory, but I have no intention of giving up this place.

In fact, the Quinn Trading Company in King's Landing has been doing business with my city in good standing, and I've heard that Quinn's sales themselves have more than doubled thanks to our dealings.
Moreover, since we operate a regular magician ship that connects the inside of Palma, the trading companies and traders in the King's Capital who stubbornly believe in racial supremacy can no longer ignore us, which is something I am keenly aware of.

It's such a big deal, in a nutshell.
Now I'm just the lord of one small frontier city.

So now I'm trying to do what I can to make sure I'm doing the best I can...

 Well.
It would be nice to accept each city's stall in the central square.

 The problem is still Urinacombe.
Why Urinacombe wanted to participate in Liberty's summer festival is still a mystery, but anyway, since the acceptance of the festival was decided, it is necessary to plan an appropriate response and countermeasures.

First of all, we're going to place guards in the central square as a matter of course.
We plan to assign some of these to Urinacombe exclusively.

 Also.
We've already had talks with Geltor about having Batcombe's stalls set up on either side of Urinacombe's stall and having the Knights of Batcombe and others mixed in with the shopkeepers of that stall.

 In addition.
The Liberty Bureau Chief of Batcombe, Biblina, has promised to focus on security at the venue, and I think it would be a bit safer if we had done that.

 Also, in response to this.
I'm also requesting that the two ancient monster tribe members who are currently being kept in Liberty be transported to GianaCombe as soon as possible, but I've heard that this is a very difficult task.

 That's because
It seems that Tiree and the rest of the ancient monster tribe that inhabits the area around Liberty are the descendants of those who broke the law of the ancient monster tribe that based themselves around Gianacombe and escaped, and it seems that the ancient monster tribe is completely divided over whether or not it's acceptable to accept them.
It seems that GianaCombe is also trying to get in between the two sides of the story, but it seems that the prospect of that is not at all clear...

It's the only thing that helps.
The thing is that Tiree is truly happy to be here in Liberty with one of the ancient monster races.

Korok is very much a part of this.

These days, whenever he has free time, Korok frequents the entrance to the dragon scale mining cave where Tiree and the ancient monster tribe are resting in their recuperation, and he plays with Tiree.
Recently, Aura, Ela, Auro and others have joined them, and Auro has even taught Tiree how to read and write in simple ways.

I have no idea what's going to happen to these two ancient monster people after this, but...
I can't help but hope that they all end up with a smile on their faces, but I also hope that the dark winsome voices of Urinacombe, who have been targeting these two, don't do anything about it.

 I digress.
I've also sent information to Gatacombe about other cities' stalls for this summer festival.
It's a bit more distant than I expected, but it seems that there was a wizard in the group who could use a fairly high level of magic, so I'm thinking that as long as he wants to come, he'll be able to use transference magic to get there.

 And I digress.
 When it comes to wizards.
The news that senior wizards who were taking the wizard-only course at the King's City Magic School have been arrested has become a hot topic.
It is said that they were asked to investigate a vein of mineral deposits in a provincial city, but they only defrauded the city of money and did not investigate the case.
It seems to be a case of resenting being accused of this and having that city attacked by bandits...

I mean, I mean ... honestly, what's this all about? So that's all I can say.
In both cases, it seems that at first the senior wizard side didn't want to fight with them, saying that there were no facts, but after the physical evidence such as the crystal that recorded the conversation, and the captured bandits and the executors of the senior wizard were turned in to the knights of the king's capital, the situation changed drastically, and they were turned in to the knights.
It is rumored that the organization that unites the senior wizards, the Tea Party Club of Senior Wizards, is lobbying the judiciary to lighten the charges in exchange for a large amount of compensation.
Incidentally, it is said that they tried to get the senior wizards who led the bandits to post bail, but since the judiciary judged that 'granting them bail would surely cause trouble,' the senior wizards who led the bandits will not be granted bail and will remain locked up with the bandits in the castle's prison until their sentence is confirmed.......

When I worked at the wizarding school, the senior wizards I interacted with didn't seem like the kind of people who would do that... they didn't seem to be very good at socializing, but they were all eager to learn and to teach...

Well, that's enough of the meandering and we're back to work on the summer festival.

We are working on accepting people from other cities, but now we need everyone in the city to participate.
This is a city's summer festival, so it's meaningless unless everyone in the city can enjoy it as well.
We don't think it's meaningful to hold a festival just to make the city happy.

That's why we're setting up a special booth at the town hall and inviting people who want to set up shop.
We're also planning to give out souvenirs to those who want to take part in the festival, to encourage as many participants as possible.

In my vicinity, we'll be able to get a colloc
I want a bear.
And he raised his hand, but of course he wants to do it with Tiree....
In the meantime, we're accepting Korok's application as an application, and we're going to discuss with everyone again how to handle this...

Now, after a quick summary of the case for now, I'm
I've decided to go into town to do some field work.

And then, in front of my room, there's Korok
I'll show you.
So he was singing and moving around with something....

I really had to find a better way to do it as soon as possible, and I couldn't stop thinking about it.
